Proxity-EC to Start Massive Marketing Campaign
The PECS Database Service Provides Subscription Clients With All Data Needed to Bid on Government Contracts, and an Email Alert Service That Provides Same Day Awareness to Contractors of Open Solicitations
Jun 13, 2006 10:23:00 AM
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA and NEW ORLEANS, LA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 06/13/06 -- Proxity, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: PRXT) announced today that Proxity Electronic Commerce Systems LLC (Proxity-EC) has started a campaign to raise awareness of the PECS Database System's capabilities to all major Government contractors in the U.S. and abroad.
The PECS Database service provides its client with all data needed to bid on Government contracts including an email alert service that provides same day awareness to contractors of open solicitations that fit the contractor's profile of products that may meet the Government's requirements.
Barry Nelsen, CEO of Proxity-EC, stated, "Today we sent over 5,100 emails to Government contractors capable of bidding on 28,000 open solicitations." Mr. Nelsen commented further, "We will, for the next ten days, email any and all companies who meet or exceed the requirements published by the Government on roughly 2,000 to 5,000 daily solicitations Also, in order to raise awareness of our alert service, we will email a 'Congratulatory' message to the 2,000 to 5,000 companies who each day receive awards from the Government, this being done the same day the award is made by the Government, in order to demonstrate to the contractors the dynamic ability of the PECS Database System to monitor Government solicitations."
Proxity-EC provides logistics data on 12,000,000 commercial parts as well as the award history on over 22,000,000 historical Government awards on 6 million National Stock Numbers built by 165,000 companies, technical characteristics on 4 million parts as well as the price paid by the Government and the price the Government charges its fighting forces after administrative fees are applied. The PECS Database provides all Non-classified Military and Federal Specifications and Standards and Non Government Standards. Proxity-EC is the only company providing all the databases as well as the alert service for a monthly price of $120.
The DoD and Federal Agencies typically send out 4,000 to 6,000 competitive solicitations every day. Proxity-EC monitors all of these for clients and provides all associated material the user may require to bid on the product or service being solicited by the government. The PECS Database System focuses its marketing attention on large purchasing entities within the federal sector, such as the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), who can also take advantage of its database to expand the number of potential suppliers, which has decreased dramatically over the past ten years. Over the last ten years the DLA has gone from using over 150,000 vendors to relying more on wholesalers and prime contractors to acquire over half of the $11.6 billion in products purchased annually.
Mr. Nelsen estimates that the DOD could save $2-3 billion annually if its vendor base were expanded and competition increased. The PECS Database has the potential to facilitate logistics connectivity directly between the war-fighter and the manufacturer by eliminating steps and costs in the acquisition process.

powerbattles, welcome aboard! This is the perfect time to get in PRXT & CYDF!
The company does not want to artificially inflate the stock price by putting out fluff PR's, it will negetively affect the companies credibility.
Please read all the previous news releases and PR's to see what the company is doing and keep in mind there are projects being worked on that, due to contractual restrictions cannot be divulged at this time.
The PRXT & CYDF pipeline are fully loaded with new products that will be coming to fruition this year. The company just signed a major deal with a fortune 100 company that will bring a whole new world of exporsure to us.
There will be 1 and maybe 2 test flight of the spherical airship taking place this summer with a test flight of the "heavy lift' airship later this year. Also there is a "Flight Around The World' sceduled for later this year wich is expected to generate massive attention around the world and be seen by approx. 1 Billion people.
The Cyberbug UAV has been tested by branched of the Military and pasted with flying colors and has been sold to local law enforcement branches already.
The new PECS (proxity-ec.com) project is now up and running in it's "free trial" phase and will become a pay service that will begin to generate much revenue very soon.
Billy has never been one to put out fluff PR's and I do not expect he will start now especially since it seems we are on the brink of bringing some products to market very soon!
PRXT, I agree is and should be on the radar list now. Volume is not huge but it is growing and they do have many project in the pipeline that will come out this year!
Since Billy (ceo) has over 50% locked up (probably closer to 70%) along with other insiders holdings, I would say the float is about 75M float!
There are only 300M issued PRXT shares. with almost all outstanding.
That is NOT a big O/S at all!!!
CBGB, I have been in contact will Billy for years now and he does not put out many PR's. I do not know what his philosophy
is but maybe soon he will chane his mind and our pps will benefit.
jean1057, I know that PECS is up and running and you can try it for free for a trial period. There are costomers lined up and ready pay for the service once the free trial period is over.
I also have been buying on the dips and I bought more this week too.
There is much working going on behind the scenes and it seems the pieces of the puzzle are coming together.
Contract with fortune 100 company news!!!

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 22, 2006--
(Investrend Research Syndicate) Homeland Security's growth and opportunity is perhaps best exemplified by event-driven initiatives such as it's rapid deployments to handle natural disasters such as Katrina, and now the response to national immigration concerns, said Investrend Research analyst Gary Vassalotti in a 1st Quarter sector update.
Report Spotlight Companies such as Bulldog Technologies (OTCBB: BLLD), Cyber Defense Systems (OTCBB: CYDF) and Viscount Systems (OTCBB: VSYS), included in Spotlight Analytics reports incorporated into the update, provided in partnership with the 400-member Homeland Security Industries Association (http://www.hsianet.org), as well as companies such as Honeywell (NYSE: HON), remain among those poised to take advantage of these escalating developments, said Vassalotti.
The 35-page report is available in its entirety, along with the Sector Spotlights at http://www.investrendresearch.com
The analyst also stated:
"The 2007 budget shows an almost 6% increase of funds in the discretionary use category to $35.4 billion, with a net discretionary amount of $30.9 billion.
Homeland Security stocks have experienced significant share price appreciation since 2001. Sell-side investment research firm Lehman Brothers estimates that its basket of 27 security stocks appreciated nearly 320% in a three-year period that began in August, 2001 while the S&P 500 returned only 5% during that period.
Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff said, "Illegal immigration poses an increasing threat to our security and public safety, and hard-hitting interior enforcement will reinforce the strong stance we are taking at our borders. With the interior enforcement strategy of the Secure Border Initiative, we will aggressively target the growing support systems that make it easier for aliens to enter the country and find work outside of the law."
