VIRGINIA BEACH, VA and NEW ORLEANS, LA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 06/13/06 -- Proxity, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: PRXT) announced today that Proxity Electronic Commerce Systems LLC (Proxity-EC) has started a campaign to raise awareness of the PECS Database System's capabilities to all major Government contractors in the U.S. and abroad.

The PECS Database service provides its client with all data needed to bid on Government contracts including an email alert service that provides same day awareness to contractors of open solicitations that fit the contractor's profile of products that may meet the Government's requirements.

Barry Nelsen, CEO of Proxity-EC, stated, "Today we sent over 5,100 emails to Government contractors capable of bidding on 28,000 open solicitations." Mr. Nelsen commented further, "We will, for the next ten days, email any and all companies who meet or exceed the requirements published by the Government on roughly 2,000 to 5,000 daily solicitations Also, in order to raise awareness of our alert service, we will email a 'Congratulatory' message to the 2,000 to 5,000 companies who each day receive awards from the Government, this being done the same day the award is made by the Government, in order to demonstrate to the contractors the dynamic ability of the PECS Database System to monitor Government solicitations."

Proxity-EC provides logistics data on 12,000,000 commercial parts as well as the award history on over 22,000,000 historical Government awards on 6 million National Stock Numbers built by 165,000 companies, technical characteristics on 4 million parts as well as the price paid by the Government and the price the Government charges its fighting forces after administrative fees are applied. The PECS Database provides all Non-classified Military and Federal Specifications and Standards and Non Government Standards. Proxity-EC is the only company providing all the databases as well as the alert service for a monthly price of $120.

The DoD and Federal Agencies typically send out 4,000 to 6,000 competitive solicitations every day. Proxity-EC monitors all of these for clients and provides all associated material the user may require to bid on the product or service being solicited by the government. The PECS Database System focuses its marketing attention on large purchasing entities within the federal sector, such as the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), who can also take advantage of its database to expand the number of potential suppliers, which has decreased dramatically over the past ten years. Over the last ten years the DLA has gone from using over 150,000 vendors to relying more on wholesalers and prime contractors to acquire over half of the $11.6 billion in products purchased annually.

Mr. Nelsen estimates that the DOD could save $2-3 billion annually if its vendor base were expanded and competition increased. The PECS Database has the potential to facilitate logistics connectivity directly between the war-fighter and the manufacturer by eliminating steps and costs in the acquisition process.
