No I`m just glossing over it focusing on the Silicon Nitride example of Ceramic on ceramic we see in AMDA's posted prototype vs. the wear study involving a Zimmer plastic liner. I think AMDA must have designed it on purpose.
I thought we where arguing simply COC or MOM vs a poly liner, hence why I`m glossing over the dangers of metallosis etc.
yeah ok. That proves it lowers oxidation of plastic that helps prevent it crumbling to dust when it gets old. It does not change the fact it's low on the scale of mohs hardness aka soft. Hard things are better bearings since they produce less wear. Hence why silicon nitride is a superior ball bearing compared to metal bearings but more costly. They resist wear due to being a harder material. The only reason I'd drop in a plastic bearing or gear anywhere in a mechanical design is to create planned obsolescence. I designed it to fail on you to up charge you down the road on replacement or service.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planned_obsolescence
"What I can extrapolate from this is metals and CoC ZTA do not intermix well"
Another possibility other than ceramicized metals interacting with galvanic corrosion of dissimilar metals is simply adding grit into the synovial. If the synovial fluid is the oil lubricant in your car engine, the joint would be your main bearing. leftover particulate would be like pouring sand into your engines oil. You would see increased wear in the main bearing.
Therefore the bodies ability to eliminate the Silicon Nitride particulate would be another hidden benefit of the superiority of Silicon Nitride. Since it allows for the natural removal of the "sand in your oil" analogy.
"ZTA particulate from CoC seems to have an adverse effect on metal components leading to increased corrosion."
Yeah this is a question I've had. If we know about galvanic corrosion of dissimilar metals, then is a ceramicized metal the equivalent of a dissimilar metal?
These studies are done on wear outside of the human body to determine the amount of wear particulate which negates the discrepancy of in vivo phase changes that lead to shattering and possibly increased wear particulate.
Then along comes some mysterious entity that mucks this up wanting to chunk a plastic liner into the wood works. Just happens to be a Zimmer liner. Makes since they would want to add something to the equation and consider this their cutting edge in devices as far as motive.
Really matches the motis operandi of Zimmer. One, not that bright. And two, elusive as we can match this to Hansons continued elusive statements and not confirming or denying the rumor like a normal company would.
If I where the guy that signed a NDA at AMDA to not reveal the joint partnership I would feel honor bound to uphold the agreement even if I didnt understand the point.
"its better than CoC"
It's better than MOM. Can you extrapolate why you believe plastic is superior to COC? I'd argue COC is superior. Plastic is a foreign body with low mohs hardness. That means it produces the most wear particulate. Since you`re body cant absorb it, it attempts to segregate it in inflammatory pseudo tumors. Part of the foreign body reaction. Then it tries to retreat in muscle death and osteolysis then implant loosening 8 years later and you need a revision to a unit designed to prevent dislocation since your muscles are wrecked.
Now just Biolox COC produces unrecognizable unobsorbable particulate but much less which slows down this process.
https://earlsview.com/2011/12/10/researchers-tout-the-advantages-of-ceramic-on-ceramic-hip-bearings/
However it goes through phase changes that increase the likelihood of shattering. But still looks superior.
This is where Ashok looks like he steps in to redevelop the AMC formula then switches to something harder. Silicon Nitride. Beyond looking like it solves the problem of phase changing that leads to shattering the particulate is bio-absorbable and easily eliminated removing the particulate problems and foreign body reactions. Looks like its so bio compatible it's easily assimilated into the bone matrix to increase bonding and decrease loosening. The built in antibacterial properties are the icing on the cake.
I think there's a reason the prototype looks like a SiNi COC. It's just the product of these people left alone. The kind of people that get excited about SiNi.
Seems like alot of competition tech. is coming out to try to mimic various aspects in an attempt to compete rather than adopt but it would be a hodge podge of various attempts to simulate something that would carry all of the properties that just pop out of the box with this stuff. Good luck on that. At best it looks to be over complicating the equation. I`m sure you could possibly fully simulate one of it's attributes at a time, I guess. Maybe.
"AMC suffer phase stability issues"
exactly. There's a likelyhood of ceramics shattering, Which gives Silicon Nitride a bum wrap in my opinion since ceramics are avoided across the board since "ceramics" must mean biolox.
Titanium Nitride/niobium nitride or DLC diamond like coating. Just put me onto this boston. seems to solve the Chrome cobalt particulate problem in studies using a peek liner. I question what happens when the peak liner is removed. Your body is going to respond to a pile of plastic crap.
https://www.dot-coating.de/en/
Seems like these guys are set up down the road from Warsaw Indiana pushing forward alot faster than SINT on production run coatings.
What if I argued Kyocera answers the phone for Biolox in Japan thus it could be Kyocera kicking the ZBH products into that research study thus Kyocera is the secret strategic partner? but why not just announce it as Kyocera? BUT if its zimmer why not just say that? Seems like the polymer products are manufactured in house in warsaw indiana by Zimmer.
ZBH seems to be facing stiff competition with Lima on the Japan front. Seems like ZBH just lays down and dies there and sells Lima the assets.
https://www.massdevice.com/lima-picks-up-zimmer-biomet-assets-in-japan/
For all I know Lima might be the strategic partner. Seems like this industry thinks being super elusive is somehow beneficial in some way.
Bryan C. Hanson made $16,334,356 2017. of this $16 million was stock or options. Now that's some hefty dividends, however ZBH stock falling or legging up still seems a make or break on a small fortune. I consider around $4 million a small fortune. Black rock or black stone is some break your legs type money on that kind of holding in my world. I`d be activist investing at that point.
Zimmer stock is some kind of exercise in double tops double bottoms triple tops triple bottoms since 2016. Best case scenario is that stock was left behind on the market bull run on a horizontal price movement. Worst case scenario is it's painting a picture of a break down and that's a triple top pattern.Either way the bollingers are narrowed on the macrocosms. Markets dont like it. Only money to be made trading sideways is swing trading it. Too predicable. Has to go short or long. What news do they expect can carry it to it's next leg? Me too tech? Not sure SiNi can take it to the next level. Really hasn't been working for AMDA. Although without a coordinated take down and meaningful press picking it up it might. Would have to be based off showing the increased sales numbers. Too much bashing of AMDA for a simple press parade to kick it into gear in my opinion.
Don't think it's going short. Blackstone or Black rock would have to get Saudi Arabia to buy their shares to off load their bags to cause the market to turn on them. Looks like smoke and mirrors. Lots of smoke and mirrors.
I only pay attention to Creamer when he names a stock I`m holding. It indicates my timing to pull out and swing trade my average down as I take it as a sign someone is about to dump it on retail. If he's not naming it or attempting to paint it in a bad light I consider buying. So the answer is I dont since I dont pay attention to the guy unless I have to.
Can totally see a motive from Zimmers perspective, But who else might have a motive? Something to gain?
https://investmentbank.com/death-spiral/
The question to me now becomes not whether the motives exist but are they intertwined?
http://www.cafepharma.com/boards/threads/sintx.628190/
I posted this. The rumor here stems from the Anonymous May 24, 2011 at 3:42 PM post. The rumor exists. This post does not back up the claims as I have no further info. beyond what we already have. The point here is to drop the word sintx since at the time the only people that would know that word are reading AMDA's investor communications, since in this time frame it's obscure and buried in Amedica's press releases in regards to the CTL deal and thus name change.
Why was it important to me to set this bait? to see who would respond. See who is watching AMDA that closely. There's either a short attack that is disguising themselves as Zimmer employees responding on cafepharma or actual Zimmer insiders that are watching AMDA like a hawk. That's what it proved to me. But dont use it as evidence because it does not further the idea of Zimmer involvement since the info. developed to post that is the 2011 post. Just a heads up for your own fact finding, although I tried to alert everyone announcing it as bait once they bit.
Bury it or drive it into bankruptcy then negotiate a buyout in that state. They cried about the loan that sonny could use it to liquidate assets in the state of bankruptcy. Then they cried that his priority was to pay off debt. Sounds like his priority was to become debt free.
No crushing debt no real need to file bankruptcy. They mad now.
Yes this is bullish in both technical and fundamental analysis right now. Doesnt seem like much interest in fundamental analysis on wall street. Analysts look like they've been pulled off to avoid the problem of the hugely bullish fundamental analysis that makes longs long here in my opinion.
Countries are not retail investors and have the brains available to understand implications? How this could benefit populations and possibly bought stock(China)? Same reason UK is interested in solving metallosis? Less burden on their socialized health care system?
Im going to have to agree with Jpowell @ .45.. .48 might be a huge hurdle based on IF conversion would happen there and the fear of it if not on the road to 1.00 to avoid the RS. Lots of money to be made shorting this into a RS. Even whitelisted would destroy volume thus price but also destroy the ability to short. Death spiral finance might be out of the picture. CVI is the only tute holder and offshore to avoid capital gains tax. Susquehanna might be a tute that plays game theory. As a OG game theorist myself this stock is attractive to me and highly exciting to look at that ticker of doom from IPO.
You`d have to go back to where this ticker originally dropped to under $1 to not see a bullish pattern on the ticker. That looked like a take down based on nothing to me. That's where I got in after the take down. I love piggy backing off manipulation, It's free money. Probably the most manipulated ticker on wall street.
"I just lack the general obsession"
I enjoy uncovering and extrapolating the complex details into the
macrocosm of Silicon Nitride. I assume you do to. If not you seem good at it.
I'd argue your position is a point of majority and the majority is either centrist, quit caring or aware.I feel The idea that this is not a point of majority is part of the media manipulation. Which is currently failing at audience market retention and doesnt care.
"Why are we deviating from Sintx"
I`d argue it's on topic. With wide relations I could correlate everything. For instance maintaining control to control the narrative. Bashing for manipulation. Ignoring the facts etc. etc. discussion of mind control, manipulation and propaganda is on topic and part of what makes a stock move as powerful as stock charts and indicators IMO.
Anyone check out CTL Amedica's website adjustments.
Can you reference that? I thought they recycle the metals to non medical smelting? Looks like cremation occurs at around 982 degrees celsius. Looks like dissociation of silicon and nitrogen start occurring around 1850 celsius, well below it's melting point. Conclusion: looks like it remains a SiNi implant after the cremation process. No clue how or why you recycle that. Probably would end up in a land fill.
Heard something that rang true here. Talking about the "cash me outside" girl having a billboard in LA. someone said "meanwhile there's people out there curing cancer and you cant find these people with both hands" _Dr. Phil
If boston had to condense the SiNi info dump into something easily digestible I think it would come across as something similar to the PR stacks released by AMDA/SINT. I guess on that front they're doing a pretty good job. I think it's definitely interesting enough to listen to in media just looking for subject matter.
Global Investigative Journalism Initiative took aim here in the implant files, but only here does that segway into our line of research. Identify the problem then identify solutions. Just like Ashok.
Where's the public speaker here? Ashok? Bal? I heard Bal on the CC. Boston? Me?(lol) you want to invite me to your podcasts? I fear public speaking from crippling autism. You want to give this a shot Boston? I`m afraid of a cease and desist from SINT or CTL. They definitely need a socially adept figure head to condense all of this and make the connections or at least one to adopt the topic.
Well what your Atlas are suggesting is a bullish chart. Not sure why .45 is oversold territory beyond the .48 conversion. Even if conversion is over, I can see a sentiment that that's where conversion will suppress price in the market that bears will push. Good trading says you stick to your guns and get out at your target even if the bullish pattern continues beyond your target. Good luck.
"billions of dollars are now riding on a few tricky questions"
https://www.businessinsider.com/does-baby-powder-cause-cancer-johnson-and-johnson-lawsuit-2018-7
Combine this with the billions needed to settle metallosis can they survive this? The real question is can they get away with it. Pumpers for prison? can you imagine what would happen to Gorsky if this where uncovered in China?
"clearly not an isolated accident, [but] a large-scale intentional activity to deceive consumers for simple, basic, short-term profits"
"In 2012, Jiang Weisuo, a 44-year-old general manager of a dairy products plant in Shanxi province, was rumoured to have been murdered in Xi'an city. It was Weisuo who had first alerted authorities to the scandal."
"People's Court in Shijiazhuang sentenced Zhang Yujun and Geng Jinping to death"
And you think you can find growth on the final frontier of global economy?
"Trump's death penalty plan for drug dealers"
Why would this man be able to even suggest this? Heroin is a dangerous product that costs people their lives. Reminder this man is a place holder. How long are you personally going to sit back and relax? While people around you are ruined from metallosis? While your babies die from asbestos exposure? While your wife dies from asbestos exposure. All knowingly from those that worship a pyramid upon the dollar bill?
REMINDER: this is for all the chips. Already proved it with Jiang and Zhang. Welcome to the global economy.
Great post. The guys that fudge the numbers of 5 year success rate on metal hips from 5% to 90% is the guys I suspect to send in chronies to suppress the tech. on the market. Key word is on the market since Sonny seems to be using the cash to keep the lights on. They dont seem too concerned with IRL medical devices and concern themselves with stock. Pull them out of medical devices and let them be wall street traders on their handful of nothing at that point. They've lost their vision and see the big profit of selling stock and not the small potato of medical device sales. Unlike Sonny who seems to care less about what happens on a market.
But how are we supposed to roll out AI and augmented reality without 5G? If a flip phone was supposed to give everyone cancer then 4G should be melting people. We'll use 5G to scan facebook and post instagram photos faster. This tech. seems to have surpassed the capabilities of most of our brains and will be under-utilized beyond the capabilities of 4G. Let's just convert 4G to 5G so maybe 5-10% of traffic can use it for self driving cars while the majority of traffic is dedicated to scanning facebook. Would I live near a Antenna 4G? not willingly. Just like the electrical transforming stations. But 4G is helping the proliferation of wild south American green parrots northward out of S. America. The 4G keeps them warm at night. They absolutely love the stuff. Would other people live by 4G? from what ive heard they want to from the financial aspect of having one stationed on your land. As long as we're free styling on the future here.
Let's discuss something a bit more on topic. Super gonorrhea. Beyond the classification of Multi drug resistant. Into the classification of we're out of known antibiotics we can use as treatment. Meaning out of options. Like rolling the clock back on everything to a time before penicillin was discovered. Once everything plays catch up from our likely candidates like MRSA and multi drug resistant candida to the lesser thought of like Cutibacterium.
responsible for acne and found in corneal ulcers, and is a common cause of chronic endophthalmitis which can lead to loss of vision and they eye itself. It is a common contaminant in blood and cerebrospinal fluid cultures. C. acnes has been found in herniated discs. The propionic acid which it secretes creates micro-fractures of the surrounding bone. These micro-fractures are sensitive and it has been found that antibiotics have been helpful in resolving this type of low back pain.C. acnes is an opportunistic pathogen, causing a range of postoperative and device-related infections e.g., surgery, post-neurosurgical infection, joint prostheses, shunts and prosthetic heart valves. C. acnes may play a role in other conditions, including inflammation of the prostate leading to cancer..ETC. ETC. I CAN GO ON LIKE THIS!
Now here's the deal on that. Moderate to severe acne vulgaris appears to be more often associated with virulent strains.C. acnes bacteria are susceptible to a wide range of antimicrobial molecules.
The damage caused by C. acnes and the associated inflammation make the affected tissue more susceptible to colonization by opportunistic bacteria, such as Staphylococcus aureus. Preliminary research shows healthy pores are only colonized by C. acnes, while unhealthy ones universally include the nonpore-resident Staphylococcus epidermidis, amongst other bacterial contaminants.
So you got a strain of acne vulgaris playing a synergistic relationship with a strain of staph and both go beyond Multi drug resistant to a state of Super.
Now what's not even on my radar? What happens when we run out of novel treatments they haven't become resistant to? I can tell you how to slow this process down and what will be our only option left. Proper hygiene and sterilization. Right now we're depending on Stainless steel and regular disinfecting. Not working. When we could be depending on a two fold attack of natural antibacterial properties of the material ALONG WITH regular disinfecting. Is this SiNi, copper or Silver? I honestly dont care as long as the issue is addressed.
Ohh, it gets better. Looks like 2.5 Billion for this one company is not enough
"This even though the company agreed to pay $2.5 billion to around 8,000 US citizens as compensation in 2013."
"Johnson and Johnson in India have said they will work alongside the government on providing redressal to patients but they have been resisting paying any compensation."
Looks like Bafana is looking for the wrong rats. Looks like J&J is up on the YTD. Absolute Hellen Keller's. No wonder they pulled the analysts here.
"The difference between a 90 percent and 5 percent success rate is huge" Meh, I`m going to say we can trust these guys. They seem trustworthy to me. " Hip patients have been suing the parent company and its DePuy unit since 2010"
"the company set aside more than $2.5 billion to end suits over its ASR line of artificial hips"
How much is that over whatever speculated valuation of SINT? Point and laugh. These guys deserve it.
Yeah real interesting the weigao deal dissolved with a guy like Chon coming along to take the cookies off the table for China. Simple cold call :oof:. I`m not buying it.
Agreed. If SINT where an IPO then the market would be more willing to speculate, but it's not. It's a continuation of AMDA. It's time for Sonny to put out. Like I said, perhaps Chon is the horse that drinks. Hes a new factor to the equation. I have no interest or need in the market to speculate here. Fully understand the apprehension. Glad we can agree. Feels good.
