Stock may feel like a pump, but it really shouldn't be.. (I mean you're always going to get incoming cheerleaders that repeat the same things over and over sometimes). But plain and simple... you cancel 80% of your OS and its naturally going to go up. But, with that aside, they had two huge PR's in October that also point to potential upcoming catalysts. Catalyst with a low float is golden. It's simple facts.
I hope you saw the end of day action and know what it means... MM are dropping breadcrumbs everywhere. The next move will be more violent than the first... Have a great Thanksgiving everyone!
Some nice press... After all my research, can't believe I missed this on the October's PRs: "Arendt, the largest legal firm in Luxembourg, which is responsible for the fund structure, outlined what framework is to be used in the fund operations to efficiently and quickly place it into the capital markets. Cabo Verde Capital Inc. has three development projects approved by KMPG, the funds accountancy and tax regulator for inclusion in the government fund to be launched imminently." Here's the mentioned KMPG: https://home.kpmg.com/xx/en/home/industries/investment-management.html

http://www.marketwatch.com/story/cabo-verde-capital-inc-in-development-discussions-with-hard-rock-hotels-and-casinos-2015-10-06
So Oct 5th they developed a strategy to obtain capital.. and October 6th released a PR saying they are in discussions with Hard Rock..perfect timing. lol.
Also, watch out, shortie gonna squeeze if we keep the buying up..
News or no news... I just want to stress the point that this is a 15mil float penny stock with no dilution, which ran normally above 10-20 cents for most of its history. It's going back up there, guaranteed.. and probably sooner than later.
Haha... shortie gotta cover in a low float stock... You do realize a few decent buys and we're green right?
Found this to be interesting.....
http://www.bloomberg.com/profiles/people/19161539-john-duggan
John Duggan
President/Interim CFO/CEO/Secy, Cabo Verde Capital Inc
Wonder why this Bloomberg profile decided list him as interim...? Still is bugging me.. Why would the CEO (Brian) resign after the Hard Rock discussions... "On October 26, 2015 , Brian Stevendale resigned as a director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. On that same day, John Duggan assumed the title of Chief Executive Officer and Secretary of the Company."
Update: Nevermind... is also lists him as President/Interim CFO Cabo Verde Capital Inc, 5/2015-10/2015
Not worried here one bit... DD stands firm of what's the come. Quick dips are inevitable because of float, but that means upside can be just as fast, as we've seen.
Time to get back in.... Here's the dip for everyone. Also: http://broadstreetalerts.com/cabo-verde-capital-due-diligence-report-shares-jump-176-yesterday/
Gapping up for open looks like... then we should be off again... 10 cent break today.
That's what everyone was saying about a little stock called K-BIO, when it was at $20...before it doubled once again to 40 yesterday. Don't underestimate the power of a low float.. lol.
I understand the keyword "discussions" and "negotiations" and how most times it means nothing. But you have to look at the big picture all together. If you add in the 8k release last week paired with the October PR, look up recent developments on Sal island (Hilton investing, etc), the fact that the company added in the bit focusing on 2 properties (when the Oct Hard Rock PR mentioned it wants 2 properties)... things start to look a little more than just "discussions" may be happening with last week's filings. Any at case, with all that aside too, the drastic OS decrease demands this price to be higher now... news or not.
Pretty sure the Hilton development is probably close by there as well. Both Hilton and CAPV mention Santa Maria village in the general vicinity. Hard Rock is aware it's an up and coming resort island. If it's good enough for Hilton to begin building, how can they say no to that beautiful piece of land?
http://www.oceanpress.info/cms/en/tourism/1328-is-starting-the-construction-of-hilton-hotel-and-the-first-casino-in-cape-verde
Fairly confident and proud of all the research that has been accomplished here in last 3 days. A newcomer with no knowledge may disregard it as a pump. But all you really have to do is read the 8k from 11/16/15, then read the CAPV Hard Rock PR from October....and you'll see a nice correlation begininning to form. Start reading between the lines about what might really be happening.
Calling it now... another run tomorrow... ASCM jumped back in the game... on bid look for cheap shares...
Wow do you see these guys trying to take it down on 150 shares? Someone's thirsty...
When the masses see this and learn our about of our non-existent float and situation.. oh my... tomorrow will be epic. Like once in a lifetime.
At this time, make sure your seat backs and tray tables are in their full upright position and that your seat belt is correctly fastened.
The one thing I was hoping for all weekend was another 100+% today. Because another significant gain like this will attract a new wave of volume.. who either didn't believe this would last, or didn't realize it was happening in the first place. But now, they'll come running with no float to greet them.
I've been away from this board for bit, working on another play to pass time... but just wanted to let you know I'll be grabbing a few more million tomorrow with some profits... :) 2016 will be known as the year of HCTI.
It's just... the quick move back to Nevada, the cancellation of all other property agreements besides two (and Hard Rock was interested in two), the outrageous reduction in OS, the CEO stepping down after discussions with Hard Rock... I'm trying to find a negative somewhere to discount all of this, but I can't.. and all the puzzle pieces connected together are screaming major upcoming catalyst.
I want to point out that in the last 8k, it states...
"On October 26, 2015, Brian Stevendale resigned as a director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. On that same day, John Duggan assumed the title of Chief Executive Officer and Secretary of the Company."
This was AFTER the PR about discussions with Hard Rock, and the PR definitely made it seem like an agreement was imminent. Don't CEO's of companies being taken, merged, etc, usually step down? And it says John Duggan "assumed the title." Hmmmm.... Thoughts?
If anyone believes the myths of MM signals, I've seen a 500, 400, and now a 300 so far.. lol.
Temporary dip.... Profiting taking and or possibly to shake some shares loose from the float-less tree... Still looking for a 6 cent break today...
Not so sure about a retrace honestly... Every resistance has turned into support.. 4 cents was our resistance a couple hours ago now it's bouncing off it.
This is obviously retracing back to those levels with this unprecedented share cancellation.. I wanted to see the action today before believing and I got it.. Not many will be selling... Float is probably non-existent in strong hands now. Watch for MAJOR upcoming pops. And watch for the news.
Yep ... A firm Hard Rock agreement and PR and this is a couple bucks on the initial pop.... And I don't like pumping either... I could legit see it happen.
MM ASCM on Level 2.... is this them?? --> http://www.ascendiant.com

Anyone familiar with this MM? Trying to DD them now... Initially it looks like a good sign...
5 cent or more close today... Got some 4 cent resistance but should clear up... we aren't even an hour in yet! Honestly 10 cents doesn't seem out of the question by end of week.
Is this is what the stock is doing without the news, I can't even fathom what it will do when they drop Hard Rock news...
Almost 15min in and up 50%... lol. Let's get back to summer levels of 20 cents please.
Let the float testing commence...
Hard Rock discussions PR was about 7 weeks ago. Definitely due for update very soon.. Based on all the DD, last week's 8k could be seen as a precursor to an major upcoming catalyst. If a successful agreement is indeed announced, with this float and OS, oh my, the percentage gains could be record-breaking.
This was mentioned somewhere before... but struck me again with your post. The October CAPV PR states "Discussions with Hard Rock Hotels and Casinos." stressing.. "and Casinos."
Well, looks like Sal Island is becoming a "little Las Vegas."
http://www.macauhub.com.mo/en/2012/10/22/cape-verde-now-has-three-gambling-areas-on-three-islands/
Pitching an idea of an Hard Rock beachfront casino and resort on an up and coming tourist island would be rather appealing, no?
They even have Hilton investing there, proof that it is the real deal. Looks like Hilton wants in on the casino thing too.
"Construction company SGL has been chosen to build the new Hilton Hotel on the island of Sal, which will be Cape Verde’s first five-star hotel and will include a casino." "The Hilton Hotel is hoped to serve as attraction for other luxury hotel chains, as well as to lend a push to high-standing tourism, in the country." http://asemana.publ.cv/spip.php?article95392&ak=1
http://www.oceanpress.info/cms/en/tourism/1328-is-starting-the-construction-of-hilton-hotel-and-the-first-casino-in-cape-verde
Awesome find... Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza and Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife.. Both on islands! Hard Rock must be on an island kick or something... lol. Cape Verde is the next logical progression (geographically south of Tenerife, along coast of Africa as well). I like the idea of CAPV trying to pull a Palladium Hotel group.
Not sure who would do the actual acquisition of assets, but I keep seeing "Hard Rock International" pop up with their worldwide hotel ventures... this link shows they are gobbling up tons of locations everywhere across the globe: http://hospitality-on.com/en/all-the-news/tag/hard-rock-hotels/
Yep... I actually thought about it a little more after my posting...and you're right... I am way under-estimating the upwards potential with this new share structure (considering what was before and how it came down). Not a lot of willing sellers anymore too. Literally had to slap the ask if you really wanted anything. Should be an interesting and fun move to watch. :)
Lol... Yes, sorta feels like that's what they basically did.
With only ~50mil OS now, and only 2 property assets of interest, could Hard Rock basically buy out CAPV to acquire the two properties? The last sentence in the October PR sort of makes me feel that way: "Closing of the acquisitions described herein remains subject to the terms and conditions contained in the anticipated definitive agreements and may require regulatory or shareholder approvals."
Can anyone help me search if Hard Rock has ever done this before in previous property developments? (i.e. buy out a company to obtain the property assets). Couldn't find anything in my initial quick search but I'm sure it had to happen at sometime.
Hard to say. Depends if the volume arrives (another 100% day though and we'll be off to the races with the attention).
The stock price hung out most between 0.10-0.25 this past summer, with some massive spikes past 0.40 this past Spring. Should at least get back to within that 0.10-0.20 range with this new share structure and float fairly quickly.
Honestly, I'd be not so quick to sell out with possible incoming Hard Rock news. Any kind of confirmation on an agreement and this stock could be 0.50+. Remember to leave in the free shares!
"The Company has proceeded only with two of these projects, a vacation resort on the island of São Vicente and a 10ha block of land on the island of Sal." - last 8k on 11/16
"WILMINGTON, DE / ACCESSWIRE / October 6, 2015 / Cabo Verde Capital Inc. (the "Company") (OTC Pink: CAPV) (PINKSHEETS: CAPV), is very pleased to announce that it has entered into discussions with Hard Rock Hotels and Casinos to develop two locations in the Republic of Cabo Verde."
Their Sal island plot of land looks like an absolute beautiful spot for hotel development. Not surprising that Hard Rock is interested in it.
"This sea front plot is well located between the International airport and Santa Maria village, the tourist hub of Sal Island."
http://www.caboverdecapital.com/projects/sal-island-hotel-resort-site/
Also, Sal Island looks like an up and coming tourist spot. http://www.capeverde.com/islands/sal.html
How in demand is Sal island becoming? Well, Hilton hotels believes it's worth investing in....
http://www.macauhub.com.mo/en/2013/03/25/hilton-hotel-cape-verde-to-be-built-on-sal-island-cape-verde/.
"The city of Santa Maria has developed in a lively way. It has large, luxurious hotel complexes where guests can expect European standards, including animation, various evening and sports programmes (diving, surfing, waterskiing or riding courses) and much more. This has its reasons: With its many kilometres of beaches that are up to 200 metres wide, Santa Maria probably offers the most ideal conditions for a classic beach holiday. The landmark of the town with its small restaurants, stores and little pastel-coloured houses is undoubtedly the weigh house on the old harbour quay, where salt was weighed in earlier times and now is the site of souvenir shops. You can still observe the fishermen as they bring in their catch and clean it at the harbour quay, just like in the past."
