This stock does have great potential for gain, especially due to the low number of outstanding shares, and it's a good sign that the selling has stopped and people seem to be waiting.
If we can survive the words of those who love to mock and taunt the optimistic investors, then we do have a good chance of reward. The R/S is over and we survived, although the pps dropped on low volume and some manipulation. Now we await the R/M effect, ...hoping that they see fit to soon tell us what they plan.
Some people are angry when they find themselves on an unfamiliar road in unfamiliar territory and others smile at the opportunity to explore new things. Which attitude is better??
Well, the optimistic crowd lives longer, if that means anything.
:O)
I'll follow you on that one. After all of this drama today, I'm feeling too old to figure this one out or to climb uphill much at all. I'll tuck in behind you and draft like a NASCAR driver at Talladega Motor Speedway. Your lead sounds good to me in that post.
Every URL (web address) is registered to an "owner." That information is public information. The owner of:
http://www.DiversifiedAcquisitions.com
...also owns a ton of other web businesses (URL addresses).
Diversified Acquisitions will apparently be the umbrella for the many website businesses that appear on the registry to be owned by the same entity.
Some of these are:
http://www.1TopStore.com
http://www.NewMombasa.com
http://www.13Daily.com
http://www.MagickalMedia.com
http://www.CancunAllInclusive.net
http://www.Macosino.com
http://www.ANHSO.net
...there are a lot more !!
The new website, which is apparently under construction is owned by the same entity that owns a ton of web businesses.
I wouldn't doubt that they have a considerable cash flow from these many operations.
http://www.CancunAllInclusive.net
http://www.NewMombasa.com
http://www.13Daily.com
...the list goes on and on !! There are a LOT of web businesses registed by the same entity as this new DiversifiedAcquisitions.com
This might turn out to be VERY GOOD indeed.
Now THAT'S the POST of the DAY !!
Laughed and laughed. Thanks !!
Maybe. But there's always the chance that the shares they are selling don't really exist. (Naked Shares)
These guys are selling shares that don't exist EVERY DAY and do so to benefit themselves. If they sell a few Naked Shares of DVFA just to prime the pump, ...who's gonna slap their hands today??
That's how they operate.
Don't sell !!! News will come.
If it was a current corporate strategy to dilute, they would have released the news to run the price up and dilute on the way up.
You're exactly RIGHT !! Unfortunately there are too many people who DON'T get it and will play into the hands of those MMs and the rest are then just along for the ride, ...like at a carnival.
It doesn't take too many foolish trades to give the MMs lots of latitude. They are masters at taking the investors' money for themselves.
The starters gun should be heard.
No gun shot yet to start this thing. But the MMs are fishing for cheap shares in a premarket maneuver that's surly NOT legal.
Don't give them your shares before the news of what's going on arrives. The market is watching and waiting.
That happens sometimes when there is NO BID. As soon as there is a Bid the value will magically reappear.
When there is zero activity, ...the MMs fall asleep.
Don't buy or sell before News arrives.

.<font color=#400000> Peace ??? John Lennon type, or Rodney King type, or no fighting on the iHub or, ....your girl friend hollers from the kitchen, "I make a cake, you wanna piece or da whole ting?" And you holler back, "Peace." (??)
"Survival" is a key term for this generation. It is however not a community spirit, ...and having been born in Berkeley and a member of those who walked the Haight-Ashberry district in the 60s, it's hard for me to ditch the attitude that people matter more than things. Christ Jesus confirms that life is more than meat and potatoes and cars and houses.
There is a way to do things that bears fruit but the fruit is not sweet. It's sweet in the mouth but becomes bitter in the belly.
Formulas sometimes pale when compared to reality.
Yep, consider the source. But there were apparently some pre-market shares traded and she might have bought some since a few (more reputable) traders also claimed to have bought some. Only one person (that I'm aware of) posted that he bought shares for .30 at the ASK. The others bought as low as they could buy. There are names for that kind of person but the names are not complimentary.
It's pitiful to think that some folks would act like ...well I still can't find an acceptable word to describe the person who would buy at such a low price when the MMs have their hooks baited specifically to catch such foolish traders. Those buyers think that they're making a "good purchase" but in the end, they are damaging the stock, everybody in the stock, and ultimately the company. But most of that kind couldn't care less. They're only in this life for what they can get for themselves at the moment.
I hope that the opening goes well with people buying at the ASK. Only then can the market control the MMs rather than the other way around, because they’re a greedy bunch as well. They'll take the money and move the bar upward.
Cy, I'd sure like to see this one go for a happy run!! It's one that could certainly do it. There's some real current value and future potential in this company, aside from the despite current pps
Why in the WORLD would you want to drag the value over all your shares (and all of ours too) down to .06 by buying a few pre-market shares there. That's EXACTLY what the MMs want you to do. ( !!! ) That kind of thinking makes NO SENSE to me at all.
Don't fall for that or we will be heading DOWN instead of up when the trading begins. The REAL price is determined by what people are willing to pay and what they are willing to takefor what they own.
Consider the value of the shares before you buy or sell.
Greggor62, Concerning your PM to me: I agree, ...it struck me the same way. I might be wrong but isn't Diversified Acquisitions the company which "swallowed up" all those previous companies, and of which TQWI was one.
Is that the evidence of several of their Diversified "Acquisitions" ???
News from optionsXpress !!
Here's a copy of what I received this afternoon:
.............................
There hasn't been any trades on this security since the security split. There is no specified date provided by the company or the exchanges of when the security will be trading. As of today, there is no volume or a bid or an ask, therefore there is no market for the security. I checked DTC and I see that shares of DVFA are anticipated to be credited to our clearing firm today. If the shares are credited today, then you will see them in your account tomorrow morning and they should be tradable if there is volume on the security.
Rich
...............................
It should be very soon that the shares are ready.
But I sure hope that the PR comes before the volume!!
UpTick88, ...are you in contact with our CEO ??
What are the chances of THAT??
Probably NONE !!
He's not willing to talk recently. My last conversation with him was about the Naked Short situation. He was investigating the most appropriate action.
There's just no way to know what he's doing, but he told me to "watch." That's what I'm doing.
Google's thousands of servers are positioned around the world and share the workload as millions of people use the Google Search Engine at any given moment.
Those two boys were brilliant programmers who did a wonderful job of optimizing the search. That's what made them gazzilionares. Performance is rewarded on the Internet.
JP, I don't feel that it's my job to try to tell Michael what to do in a technical sense. He may have advisors smarter than me and with more up-to-date experience than I have. I had brilliant programmers on my staff. I conducted oversight of projects and that's where I get my knowledge, ...from the brains and experience of others.
I have only tried here to explain to investors what I see during this time of growing pains and stress, because in reading the posts I understand that many of them are not aware of the nuts-n-bolts of how a website works.
Most people and companies operate best with accurate information.
:O)
I filed a COMPLAINT with the SEC today concerning DVFA.
The Market Makers did manipulate the price of TQWI on Friday (thank you NMState94 for making me rethink that and then actually DO SOMETHING about it) in an "after-hour" trade, which caused the opening value of DVFA to be diminished by 50% That's illgal, and we should do something about it. The SEC is a bit more mindful of offenses in PinkSheet land due to recent embarrasement and critisizm and we should take advantage of that.
I'll post a copy of what I told them and I encourage EVERYONE to file a complaint. Today there is no trading of DVFA, use some of your time in an attempt to make a difference.
I have complained in the past both through online complaints and through telephone conversation with one of their attorneys. Whether it makes things happen or not remains to be seen, but the issue of Naked Shorts is FINALLY being addressed, simply because the SEC could no longer ignore the flames that were licking at their desks. Not just investors, but Congressmen and Senators were also beginning to ask embarrassing questions. That's what it takes.
I guarantee that if we do nothing, ...nothing will happen.
Here is the link to file a complaint concerning the Manipulation of security price or volume:
http://www.sec.gov/complaint/cf942sec9570.htm
.......................................
And here's what I told them:
Information About Your Complaint:
Taylor Aquaponics becomes Diversified Acquisitions, Inc
Last Friday (08-17-07), an order was registered with the Pink Sheets for a Reverse Merger with an associated Symbol change for TQWI to be changed to DVFA, and a simultaneous Reverse Split (1200 to 1). These events were scheduled to execute on the Following Monday morning (08-20-07)
That meant that the closing price at the end-of-day Friday would dictate the opening price of the new stock, multiplied by 1200.
The pps of the TQWI had been .0002, .0003 and .0001 in the days prior to the announcement. TQWI closed with a price of .0002 at the closing bell of Friday, which then dictated an opening price per share of .24 for the new symbol.
HOWEVER, ...there were then illegal “after-hour” trades at .0001 by the MMs to manipulate the pps downward to .0001
That illegal action caused the price and the subsequent value to be decrease by 50%. My wife and I have thousands of dollars invested in this security and expect some serious action by the SEC related to this immoral and illegal incident. I expect a thorough investigation into this incident and it must be conducted immediately, since this security is not yet trading today and this criminal act could therefore be corrected if the SEC will step in today. Any delay will allow these criminals to profit from their behavior and although the SEC could impose a penalty upon them in some future action, the damage to the countless investors will not be redeemable or repairable by SEC action after DVFA begins to trade. You can correct this now and impose the proper penalties. If not, the SEC itself becomes a member or participant in this illegal activity through neglect of duties.
This sort of thing happens every trading day and should of course be a matter that the SEC would address (and STOP) categorically, but in this particular case, the damage is very identifiable and will be very costly to a huge number of investors, very soon. Unscrupulous Market Makers who have acted illegally toward their own personal gain have stripped private investors of 50% of the value of their investments in this case, which is a considerable amount of money! Go get them, …that’s your job. We can’t do it, but we pay you to do it for us.
…………………………………….
How you Learned about the Transaction or other Activity:
I was watching and waiting during those closing minutes of trade on Friday, August 17th, 2007. I was very aware of the damage that the Market Makers could do to this particular stock as it was preparing to be transferred into a new symbol and new company through a Reverse Merger. The closing price was all-important. I did NOT anticipate the after-hours illegal sale at whatever price they would choose to create. Since the sale was NOT conducted during open market hours, ...they were able do as they will and did thereby cause tremendous financial harm to the private investors, by conducting sales outside of the free-trade arena.
……………………………………….
Any Additional Information
I have copied and pasted the content of this complaint to an eMail addressed to my Congressman and our Senators, to the Director of the SEC and to the White House. I am really tired of watching daily as the lack of control and enforcement of regulations allows Market Makers and Brokers to steal money from investors. It has to stop now, for the sake of our nation’s economy and well-being.
JP, ...If this upgrade was to be sufficient for the 250k to 500k registered user capacity, the current performance would have to be stellar, ...almost instantaneous. That didn't happen. It's better, and the performance is acceptable. But as some have mentioned, it's not great. That’s unfortunate because it means that if the website popularity begins to grow as it was growing a month ago, the engine will bog down again under the load as it did before. That’s all I know. I can’t give you a date or a number of users. It’s based entirely upon the workload, relative to the quantity of information contained in the database.
Last night, Lexey pointed out another site, which is quite popular, and she suggested that it is slower than Hypster. I was curious and investigated that site. The performance is horrible. And when I went to Alexa to look at their statistics, I discovered that they are dropping pretty dramatically. That site has lost 29% of their traffic in the past three months. The lesson there is that when your performance becomes unbearable to your Internet audience, your site dies. The site that Lexey pointed out is related to sewing and fabrics. That audience would tend (in my opinion) to be much more tolerant than the Hypster audience.
If I were the CEO of Hypster, I’d have someone working on a new design of the internal workings of Hypster now. Perhaps a server with four Xeon parallel processors and as much RAM as is physically allowed by the newest motherboard out there. Serial hard drives configured under RAID 0, to split the data access workload between two drives for increased performance. I’d investigate radical possibilities like a huge RAM storage device to act like a hard drive and cause it to contain the database data for dynamic access, with regular hard drive storage operating under a RAID background backup configuration. I’d talk to the industry leaders about which database manager would be the most efficient for the type of data that’s being stored. A few simple things like pouring the images that people upload through a filter that limits the optical resolution and physical dimensions, might help a lot. These things take time and cost money, …lots of money. But the issue is not going to go away by itself and it would be my guess that Michael is thinking about this very thing this morning already.
When we access information at Google, the response is almost instantanious, and the volume of data that's accessed is almost inconcievable. But they are utilizing countless thousands of servers, running in parallel. Performance costs money.
The question is only whether Hypster is worth that much investment. It appeared a month ago that it was, as the number of Registered Users was beginning to grow with a daily, almost an hourly upsurge in the percentage of increase. Will that begin to happen again? Probably.
$4.99 ?? You make it sound like Wal-Mart.
:O)
I do like the range of your conservative estimate though.
That was FUN, wasn't it !!??!! You must have optionsXpress. Me too.
When I opened my account today and discovered that our account balance was something over 8 Billion dollars, I showed my wife and then spent the rest of the day wondering how I might persuade them to wire the money to my bank TODAY before the actual share value is reconciled.
:O)
I printed a copy of my account details today for long-term entertainment. 8 Billion dollars was considerably above my expectation for this new DVFA adventure on their first day.
Alexa charts indicate that the site you mention as being slower ... has lost 29% of their users in the past three months. Being slow in a game of chess is fine but on the Internet, it's anathema.
Hypster is Ok at the moment, with the current user-load; not great, but Ok. Increased users may require further alterations of the indexing system. Slow access is just not tolerated by Internet users, regardless of how sympathetic the investment community might be. Michael mentioned that the problem is the quantity of information contained in the database (including photos). If it were a simple text list, it would sort much faster, …but then it would not be as popular to the MySpace crowd. In the future, some state-of-the-art thinking may be required to keep the original model operative under increased user load and peak conditions.
It can be done if necessary. For now, it works.
It is NOT TRADING!! PERIOD. Any Bid or Ask or offer of any sort is speculative only and NOT REAL (regardless of where it’s posted).
There are NO shares of DVFA to trade yet. They have not been universally issued.
Good point!! No reason to release news that will be lost in the clutter of the next few weeks as the general "round up" of all shares is made and the DTC trys to reconcile the actual share count and issue new shares.
There will probably NOT be anything released about how long this will take, since they (whoever "they" are) won't know until it's about finished. It will require the cooperation of all brokers to present certificates and numbers in a timely fashion. Any that are late will surly hold up the whole process.
Selling out last Thursday looks better to me now than it did then. I'd rather have these several thousand bucks doing something else while we wait. But that's not an option so I'll just hope for a stunningly great outcome at the end of the wait.
:O)
That's not true. There is a perfect and direct correlation to the companies posted on that list.
Consider the post from this morning (#7988) about "why" the R/M and R/S is a good match.
Then consider the fact that an R/S is a tragedy to investors only when the corporate owners simply want to sell shares to pocket the money. Unfortunately, that is often the case with an R/S on the PinkSheets ...BUT that was not the original purpose of the concept of the Reverse Split and a R/S is still a valid and useful financial management tool, when properly used. And when properly used, it benefits the shareholders as well. (Bashers will disagree but then, ...that's their job, and it’s our personal responsibility to ignore and completely disregard everything they say.)
We don't have the answer to the issue of whether this R/S will be properly used to benefit the corporation and the shareholders yet, but an R/S in and of itself is only frightening to those who have been abused in the past or those without knowledge about why it happens. And if the purpose of the R/S was as stated in post 7988, then all is well and the correlation of companies on that list who experienced tremendous increase following a R/M is valid since the results should be exactly the same as a company with an R/M and no associated R/S.
Facts are facts. Opinions are opinions. Opinions based upon facts are solid. So-called facts based upon opinions are potentially worthless.
I can claim some of those in the highlighted zone for myself, shares that I bought during that frenzy of buying.
There were a lot of shares traded during that period and a lot of the "selling" (many of them) were NEW Naked Shorts, ...for sure !!
The people who create counterfeit (Naked) shares daily are so addicted to the money that they make upon selling something that cost them NOTHING, ...they will have to see some of their comrades locked up before they will stop doing it, in my opinion.
Diversified Acquisitions is a mystery to us at the moment, but it sounds of course like a company involved in "acquisitions." ( Daahhh... )
To me the R/M coupled with a R/S makes perfect business sense and will be a genuine asset to the company and to the investors. (If all is on the up n up and the serious investors ignore the Bashers who have already arrived.)
Now, I’ll explain my thinking here:
If I were the CEO of this new company, which was in the process of a purchase/merger and subsequent transformation into a publicly traded corporation and I had the opportunity of a doing a R/S to make the price of the corporate common stock to begin trading at .24, with the realistic expectation that it would soon be trading in the $2 range, ...rather than beginning at .0002 and hoping for it to soon be trading at .0016 (which is exactly the same percentage of increase to the investor - 883% increase) which would I prefer??
As a company involved in "acquisitions" ...image is important. And the "image” of a company whose stock is trading at $2 is completely different than a company whose stock is trading at .0016 even if the Market Cap is identical.
With the pps above $1 allows new options for the flexibility of this new company. The hope is now of course that A) The price goes above one dollar B) The CEO has no need or intention of diluting the value into the sub-penny range.
We don’t know. We wait.
Keep posting that list from time to time, it's sweet to revisit that information.
The reason for that Thursday delay might be the fact that the industry allows three (3) days for transactions to "clear." That would be Monday thru Wednesday and by Thursday the funds from all transactions of the previous Friday have "settled" where they belong.
This is a time for rational thought and meaningful, truthful input to this board.
Why would anyone fear this company simply because of some character who used to post here (weeks ago)?
:O/
The important thing to stress to buyers now is how buying below the ask on this occasion will play into the hands of the MMs. A small (extra) investment to buy at the ask makes all the difference in the world when trying to prevent them from manipulating the price downward.
It will be one day of concentrated effort by the investors to run the price up and by the MMs to prevent that.
If we win on the first day, we're 70% there.
Wise People who CARE ABOUT their investment will BUY at the ASK on Monday morning.
BUY something. It doesn’t have to be a lot, but it does have to be bought at the ASK.
Don't buy it all at once, break your purchase into pieces and buy at the ASK. That will provide a continuous flow of purchases, GREEN PURCHASES, which prevents the MMs from dropping the share value. The ONLY way to keep that value up is to buy at the ASK. It may cost a little bit more in share price and in fees but the RETURN on INVESTMENT will be enormous if we can keep this thing from being manipulated long enough that the general investment community can discover what's going on here and dive in. Then we're on cruise control. But at the Monday morning bell, it will be in the hands of those HERE to make it rise !!
Don't underestimate the desire of the MMs to cause this pps to drop. But they won't be able to prevent the sale of shares at the ASK and that will prevent them from dropping the price lower and lower, …as they can so easily do when the market goes quiet for even a short time.
Posters are often shouting, "Slap the Ask."
This is the time when that WILL REALLY matter. This new stock symbol is a clean slate. Every purchase you make is creating the chart that will be passed from Website to Website this week. The first minutes, the first hours, ...that first day will be HUGE in determining how much money we make from this new development in the life of our TQWI investment.
Well done.
:O)
What say you to the troops BigBaller? Welcome Home??
Somebody had better get busy redressing the iBox for the crowd of newcomers. This is where we live and work now as the DVFA homeboys.
Might we consider a new look, and new feel and a new attitude for this new adventure in DVFA? Like, ...NOW !!! (???)
This would have been BOARD #1 but is now nothing much.
Post, post, post.
...and keep it on the upbeat. Remember that new investors are watching and reading.
