sleekscape: Because of your post I am reassessing my plan as to when I will sell 60 percent of my TRTC holdings and I may increase my anticipated sell price to a higher price.
They will not get my shares to cover their short position!
How many times are you going to post this misinformation that does not apply to MCIG/VCIG? You have made your point and these regulations do not apply.
In addition to my other marijuana stocks I own the same number of shares in both ENRT and L$RP and I figure if one takes off it will compensate for any loss in the other plus an acceptable capital gain.
lesgetrich: Basis statistics 101 tells us that 1 to 3 percent of the new people that see the advertisement will in fact purchase the product if the product is reasonably priced and even if not reasonably priced some people will buy it if the product is intriguing to the customer. MCIG and VCIG products are both reasonably price and intriguing to the first time buyer.
Thanks and my best to you.
Yep and so far no revenues, earnings, or licensing agreements signed!
Emmmci: iIf I may respectfully add to your post that I agree with. I am 70 years old and all ate up by several medical problems from being exposed to Agent Orange in Vietnam. I have cancer but not pancreatic cancer, had cancer surgery February 2013, spine surgery May 2013, and lost the use of my left arm/hand June to November 2005. I have been on strong narcotic pain medication every day since June 2005. If NVLX treatment will reduce the pan that would be a blessing from God. I've been in so much paiin for so long tha I have absolutely no fear of Jesus calling me home and I actually am looking forward to that day! I hope that you are doing well! Sincerely, Senior Chief
I know that this is going to sound unrealistic, but with what is publically known about MCIG and yesterdays PR I can't understand how anyone could be selling this stock today. I was so concerned about having a difficult time buying today that 3.5 hours before the opened at 0600 hours Eastern time I put in a buy "Limit" order at $0.55 per share and in less than 2 minutes after the market opened to my surprise I filled at $0.41 per share. I put in at this high price because I really wanted the shares to add to what I already have and 55 cents per share is the maximum that I was willing to pay today. I'm not bashing the shorts ( if there are any shorts here ) but I believe that the day will come if it is not already here for some shorts that they will be very sorry that they shorted this stock!
ProCannabis: Great day for us longs today! I just put a check in the mail to Scottrade because I used all but $68.00 of my available amount to purchase a non-marginable stock - MCIG. I am never on margin longer than a few hours because that is too risky, so I sent the check to Scottrate that they will get tomorrow and have credited to my account between 1300 and 1600 hours tomorrow that will totally cover all of my MCIG shares that I bought on the open this morning. I do think there will be more left standing in this sector than MCIG when all is said and done but I am real pleased with my marijuana sector stocks that I believe will be left standing, against the rules to post symbols so I may send ya a Private Message. Yep I'm having a great day today and either my pain medications are working extremely well or the pleasure with MCIG's PR is working better than the pain meds....LOL. Sincerely, Senior Chief
DRWconsulting12: Wow bummer! I put in my buy order with Scottrade at 0600 hours Eastern time this morning and I filled a few seconds ( less than 2 minutes ) after the open. I did see over 100,000 shares fill before the open.
sleekscape: Okay, I'm now in more and I'm in big time, so post the good news already.
MD-420: Oh my, I was so impressed I totally forgot about any dummies that have shorted the stock! You have any figures on the number of shares shorted?
MD-420: My shares also on lock down, not only lock down but also on "Lock Out/Tag Out" (if ya know what that means, and Lock Out Tag Out procedures must not be violated at the risk of injury or loss of life). I know that there will be some trades tomorrow but like I said anyone selling after the news tonight deserves to lose a whole bunch of money that they left on the table by selling way too early and I don't care if the individual only paid $0.00001 per share selling now is dumb dumb dumb! Once before I was in a position like this with a very inexpensive stock and when I finally did sell most but not all of my shares my long term capital gains were $90,000.00 and I'm sure MCIG will yield me a lot more than that amount in the future!
It is going to be a long night for me tonight waiting for the market to open tomorrow morning! Anyone selling MCIG shares tomorrow after this news shouldn't be in the stock market to being with!
Wow an absolutely excellent advertising campaign and especially how the plan is to implemented and paid for! As an ex-vice president of operations I did Billboards, Internet, customer relations, and radio advertising for the company that I worked for and I can say without hesitation that Paul is one excellent CEO! The various dollar figures stated in this PR clearly indicate that the existing revenues and future revenue projections that Paul sees will both far exceed our most aggressive estimates! Based upon this excellent advertising campaign I have never felt more positive about MCIG/VCIG! We have a cream of the crop executive at this company my fellow longs! Privileged, thanks bunches for finding this and posting it!
BusProfH:
THE ONLY STORES THEY GAIN ENTRY TO ARE THOSE ACCEPTING BRIBES FOR ACCESS, WHILE CREDIBLE STORES JUST SAY NO.
In all honesty you post in all Caps, and then you say something like this and you really expect knowledgeable investors to pay attention and put any value in what you post! Wow!
I really don't know if there is such a thing as a paid basher or not but if there is such a thing and if that is what you are the people that are paying you need to get their money back.
Hi Privileged: I took your advice and bought more today but it was not easy ( my own fault ): put in a bid at .405 .407, .411 and no fills so finally got tired of modifying my order and just put it in .001 above the Asked price and filled at .413. So I'm done now and I'll just sit back and watch MCIG run run run and collect my dividend, collect the dividend soon I hope. It is always nice chatting with you by PM here or by our private email addresses and I hope that you are doing well. I'm doing great today, pain medications are working for a change. Getting things ready to take wife in for surgery early Wednesday morning and both of our sons will be here. Sincerely, Senior Chief
Otsy: If I may respond to just one small section of your post. Many of us Vietnam Veterans with severe daily pain problems sure hope that NVLX can come up with something that will help us. Come on NVLX, the other companies in the marijuana sector, and the medical community change the thinking and get us Nam Vets on marijuana to stop the pain and get us off of the narcotics! We also hope that the attitude from civilian doctors and Veterans Administration doctors will change regarding their position on marijuana use to reduce pain levels. We would welcome anything non-narcotic to relieve our daily pain! I have been on narcotic pain medication every day since June 2005 and I have many Vietnam Brothers in Arms that are also on narcotic pain medications every single day. My several medical problems are caused by being exposed to Agent Orange in Vietnam and my Brothers in Arms that are also on daily pain medications is because of several medical problems from Agent Orange. Like me many of my Brothers have cancer and like me so far we have beat it but none of us like taking the narcotic pain medication but have to in order to live as close to a normal life but not even really that close to how we would like to live. We have all heard that marijuana does relieve the pain but we don't use it because it is against the laws in the states that we live in. I have heard from Brothers that live in medical marijuana states that either their civilian doctors will not write a prescription for marijuana and the Brothers that didn't retire from the military like I did have to go to the Veterans Administration and their doctors will also not write marijuana prescriptions. I have also heard that the VA doctors plus civilian doctors will even stop writing narcotic prescriptions if we test positive for marijuana in both medical marijuana and non-marijuana states. We believe that the medical community attitude about using marijuana for chronic/acute pain must change and change fast especially in the VA hospitals/clinics. Sincerely, Senior Chief
Getright777: Which is why I bought shares in this company and also why I bought shares in another marijuana company (e.g. NVLX) is because they have an alternate source of revenue until the marijuana sector really gets moving.
Proannabis:
Zero debt here with mcig. They are selling what they can afford to buy with cash and zero loans. Very solid business approach if you ask me
Very solid indeed compared to the other marijuana stocks and also compared to many public companies. The MCIG financial position is almost unheard of for a new start up company. Not just because I'm long the stock but I truly believe that MCIG is way oversold and I also believe that part of the reason for the pps is because of what the SEC did to some marijuana companies that ended up being a severe blow to the marijuana sector. It would not surprise me if their next financial report blows away the most aggressive estimates. Sincerely, Senior Chief
I mean no disrespect to anyone on I-Hub and I never have meant anyone any disrespect going way back when I was signed on as screen name "Retired Navy" but lost my password after not posting here for several years. Today is the first time that I have ever used the ignore icon on any website but the reply to my post was insulting when I was just trying to answer/help a person with what I thought was an honest question so I gave him/her my honest answer in a respectful manner based upon my experience being in the market since November 1966. Maybe I-Hub is not the place for me apteral and maybe I don't need I-Hub because this site didn't exist for the many years that I was in the market even before the internet. I will say that I have met some very nice people here and one of which I have communicated with by our private email addresses.
TickerHunter: If I may very respectfully answer your post like this. I believe that the answer to your question is different for every person in that for some people having 100 shares is a substantial investment for them and for others 100,000 shares is a substantial investment. What I learned over many years is never invest with scared money, money that you can't afford to lose! Don't just consider all aspects of the company but also consider the economy, world events, the sector that the company is in, the political environment etc. For me, but it may not be appropriate for everyone, I am currently 30 percent invested in stocks and 70 percent in cash because I don't like world events, the political environment ( especially the political environment regarding marijuana use and the current laws ), and the current economic conditions in America. Have a preplanned exit point, what works for me is when a stock has increased 75 to 100 percent from what I paid for it I will sell 50 to 60 percent of my shares thereby getting close to 100 percent of my initial investment back just in case that something really going wrong with the company. I hope that this advice helps you! Sincerely, Senior Chief
mrgreenjeans: I have heard but I don't know for a fact that if you try to place a GTC sell order that is a certain percentage above the current Ask price that the firm will not accept the order. I have been told that Scottrade does this but I have never tried it and I am with Scottrade. As an example if a stock is currently trading at $0.15 Bid and $0.17 Ask and I try to put in a GTC at $1.00 that Scottrade will not accept the order. Would someone here please comment on this with the correct answer? Thanks in Advance for the Answer, Senior Chief
mrgreenjeans: Like you, I have no first hand experiencing observing any Naked Shorting but I've heard and read a lot about it and while watching what I consider unusual activity in a stock plus what I've heard from licensed brokers with Tier 1 firms about some non-Tier 1 firms do in fact naked short stocks ( I'm reluctant to name the firm(s) that I was told were naked shorting, that I suspect of naked shorting, because I have no first hand observation experience seeing this and only know what the broker told me.) One thing that I do know for sure is that the SEC really did a bang up job with the Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC! And it comes out that the SEC was warned about Madoff several times and for whatever reason did not stop the illegal activity for a long long time!
pitadog: I have been in the market continuously since November 1966. Please give me the name of one firm that has been held accountable for naked shorting without borrowed shares and were held accountable by the SEC (e.g. suspended from trading for XXX number of days). I hope that you don't believe that illegal naked shorting is not going on. Writing Representatives, Senators, of both parties and signing a WH Petition ( especially this WH ) are a total waste of time. I have written many respectful letters to many politicians ( McCain, Graham, Kyle, Gowdy, to name just a few ) and 99 percent of the time the reply is a "Boiler Plate Ol' Soft Shoe Tap Dance" that didn't even come close to answering my question, so much so that I question did anyone even read the content of my letter past the subject line. Sincerely, Senior Chief
And what is the SEC doing about all of the illegal Naked Shorting of shares......nothing and it has been that way for decades!
Green2013: Boy I really messed that up.....my average pps is $2.914 not $2.491. Sorry
Sounds good to me and soon enough like Monday would be fine with me!
Understand....Thanks! I was with ETrade but years ago around 2007 - 2008 time frame I left them and went with Scottrade. For decades ( 1966 to 1986 ) I was with Tier 1 brokerage firms Paine Webber, Smith Barney, etc. and what a huge mistake that was with the high commissions that that charge. I did make money with them and my broker ( a Senior VP with a Tier 1 firm ) did get me into some profitable investments but I'm a lot happier with Scottrade! I have been told, but I cannot attest or confirm this, that a firm by the name of Nite, Knight, ( don't know how it is spelled ) really cause havoc in the penny stock market by shorting the stocks then buying back on a dip, shorting again on a run up and just back and forth manipulating the pps.
Hi Green2013: I also added today and increased my position by 25 percent at average price of $2.491 per share
May I ask who/what is ETRF ?
I hope that ya get filled! I always place my bid at a fraction of a cent above the bid 1 to 3 fractions if I really want to get filled but don't want to pay the Ask price and I usually get filled in a few minutes unless something unusual is happening and the Bid/Ask are continually getting pumped up. That is what I did today to get filled on more shares of TRTC and to get more shares of $TWMJF/$TWD.
THE BRAZEN BULL: Thanks for the post! The next time I am out and about I will be looking to see if it is in my area, I live in South Carolina.
Bought it to diversify the marijuana portion of my portfolio.
Well I bought this yesterday at $0.515 per share and I intentionally bought then to buy just prior to Q1 Financials report being announced at the close. Overall I was pleased with the report so when I saw the drop on the opening I got pi$$ed, then I saw the bounce up and said to myself yep that is what the pps should be doing, then I see the drop again and I got so pi$$ed off that I said screw it and I bought more and increased my position by 50 percent at $0.45 per share. Oh well it is, what it is, so now I'll just watch this pps run up to $0.85 pps and then I will sell 40 to 50 percent of my position and let the pps just continue to run up higher and higher and higher......the future continual higher price per share on a daily basis with all green and is my story so I can tell it they way that I want to.....LOL Good Luck to all and to the gentleman on this board that advised me to buy this stock I'm glad that you did, I have no regrets and I thank you for your recommendation ( you know who you are ). Sincerely, Senior Chief
Yep what a comeback....very impressive! Shorts now risk getting their head handed to them in their hands!
I am bullish on TRTC. I expected the pre-market Bid/Ask prices this morning to be $0.52/$0.54 but I'm seeing $0.481/$0.48. The Bid being a little higher than the asked is a positive sign for a good opening based upon the Q1 Financial report after the close yesterday but would rather see higher than .48 with a close at $0.50 yesterday. I am impressed with the Q1 report for this company in this new marijuana sector. Katty Bar the Door if something good pops with NV, FL, NY, and NJ down the road and if that happens your will not be able to buy this stock at the current levels! For full disclosure I bought my shares for the first time yesterday. UPDATE Not looking good now Bid .453 ask .47
ProCannabis: I couldn't agree with you more! I'm really amazed and very frustrated at the pps because MCIG has so much going for it ( I won't take you valuable time to articulate the positives because we all know what they are ). I believe and can understand that the company that had the trading of their stock suspended ( I can't post the stock symbol because that is against the rules but I will assume you know the company that I'm talking about ) would have a negative impact on the marijuana sector stocks but for the life of me I never thought such a substantial impact on MCIG would happen! Heck if I could just get a 15 cent or 20 cent increase in the MCIG pps that would be great news for me and at least that would put my position in MCIG close to my averaged pps of $0.62. I'm hopeful that we will see $2.05 per share before we get into year 2015, you would know better than me if that is even possible since you have a lot more DD/knowledge of the marijuana sector, MCIG, and stocks in the sector than I have! I hope that ya have a great evening. Sincerely, Senior Chief
I bought this stock for the first time this morning. I have read all of the positive and negative posts before I bought and read all of the positive/negative posts since the earning report was released after the market closed today. Obviously many here are positive on the Q1 financial report and many negative. But the proof in the pudding will be the market tomorrow that will tell us what the masses think of todays report and the future for this company. I purchased this stock this morning based upon a recommendation from an individual that I respect, my own DD, and to diversify the marijuana portion of my portfolio ( currently own 9 different marijuana stocks ). I will refrain from posting my opinion about todays Q1 financial report, but I will say that my opinion is that this new marijuana sector will obviously have some winners and some losers when all is said and done which is why I selected the companies that I did. I am banking that my winners will compensate for the losers and also provide an acceptable profit. I'm not out to make a million dollars but $100,000.00 will be perfectly acceptable to me since my portfolio is for the heirs of my estate since I'm 70 years old, all ate up with several medical problems from being exposed to Agent Orange in Vietnam, had cancer surgery February 2013, and within the last few weeks my cancer has returned. So based upon these factors I will not be around to see the top pps of the winners in the marijuana sector. I firmly believe that eventually medical marijuana use will be legalized in every state and recreational use legal in many more states than currently allow such usage. My state will probably be once of the last states, if not the last state to approve medical marijuana because I live in the Bible belt in the South. I wish that it was legal in my state so I could use it for my daily pain but it is not legal and I will not break the laws so I'm forced to stay with the strong daily narcotic medications that I have been on since June 2005. This sector is so new that I can see some really big bucks being realized for the individuals that have a very diversified marijuana portfolio. Good luck my fellow investors and I wish y'all an extremely profitable 2014! Sincerely, Senior Chief
