mrgreenjeans: I have heard but I don't know for a fact that if you try to place a GTC sell order that is a certain percentage above the current Ask price that the firm will not accept the order. I have been told that Scottrade does this but I have never tried it and I am with Scottrade. As an example if a stock is currently trading at $0.15 Bid and $0.17 Ask and I try to put in a GTC at $1.00 that Scottrade will not accept the order. Would someone here please comment on this with the correct answer? Thanks in Advance for the Answer, Senior Chief
