Tens of thousands. Literally. You're admirably philosophical, but many are not.
Instead, the funds are saying that the brokerage firms are creating a false short position by borrowing some of the stock and engaging in a naked short for the rest. The real damages come apparently when the short sale needs to be unwound, meaning that the target stock has dropped in value and the fund needs to pay back the borrowed shares that don’t exist or can’t be found quickly.
I doubt that's happening now, but I'll bet it did in the past. That said, I'd guess that in most cases a borrow was eventually found.
Milberg Weiss is pretty sleazy. I should think respectable hedge funds would steer clear.
No. In your email, go to "options". You'll see a category for "headers". Click on "full" or "advanced". You'll get a whole lotta information. What you're looking for is "originating IP". But post the whole thing.
Yep.
And what's wrong with criticizing a company that's underperforming very very badly?
They are going to IPO CIM? Where did you hear this?
lol, in Paltalk. Where else?
this month is curtains for you if you are wrong....
Wasn't 10 April supposed to be a Critical Date? If so, it's come and gone, but then there are soooo many.
I gotta say: I'm STUNNED by the number of RB CMKXers who've followed Acca over here.
Evidently you still don't recognize a joke when you see it.
What's deeply ironic is that all of you should have come here long ago. You might have learned something before it was too late.
"Whimper out"???? Do you mean "wimp out"?
Everyone knows who Acca is.
If your such a tough guy why don't you reveal your true identity instead of running from one public internet access to another ?
Roger Stelma.
Hope it is evening est.
WHAT?? Why should it be "evening" on the East Coast at 2:23 in the afternoon? In any case, Acca's on Central time.
I like to think of Pearl Asian Mining Industries, in a similar light to that of a 1986 Microsoft Company. Why?
Because you're insane?
I Would Have A Field Day With Anyone Of You If You Actually Had The Balls To Speak With Me One On One..
And just what do you think we're trying to do here? Unfortunately you don't provide any fodder for discussion. There isn't much to say about unsubstantiated bullshit.
Again, Investorman You Are Either Uneducated Or Live Under A Rock, I Would Have To Go With The Education Aspect.
And you? Do you even have a high school diploma? Your lack of writing skills suggests that you don't.
While you're at the library, Acca, please ask the librarian to help you understand appropriate capitalization.
We'll all be grateful.
And which public library branch are you visiting today, Acca?
now why would the hedge funds start getting real antsy about naked shorting hmmmmm....
Not because of CMKX, that's for sure.
I thought she just went to California.
"Going to Europe" doesn't really mean anything, even if she did go.
LOLOLOLISSIMO!! That's just hilarious!!
if anyone has doubts as to the email....email me at odiaz28@hotmail.com and i will forward the mail to you.good luck to all.
Why don't you just post the expanded header so we can figure out where she is at the moment?
It can mean that the shareholders who are eligible for the dividend do not need to spend extra money to get the certificate.
But I doubt it will. The brokerages will want to collect a fee for their trouble, and so will the TA.
lol, emailing "Marcella" probably won't get you any response at all.
I email Marcella and usually get an immediate response.
Another rare coin collection? By the way whats happened to that announcement?
I expect she doesn't have the money to get the coins into production.
DTCC is sick and tired of CMKX and CMKX investors, just as the brokerages are. They want to close out this issue.
The pieces fit together perfectly. CMKX is and was a scam, and Urbie robbed his shareholders blind.
Why thank you!
"Other OTC"??? And what might that be, lol?
BKMP nonetheless has way too much stock out already, and the bleeding probably won't stop anytime soon.
my contention has always been that it is possible to do Wal Mart art...
It's possible to do way better than that.
Back in the sixties, Vincent Price organized a collection, mostly of prints, that was sold through Sears. Prices ranged from cheap to a couple thousand, but it was all the real thing. Rembrandt etchings, even. Maybe not the VERY best impressions, but real nonetheless. And whoever bought them back then must be quite happy today. Price chose every piece himself, and he wasn't interested in junk, much less repros.
It could still be done today, though there'd be less choice, and prices would be somewhat higher. Even so, it's entirely possible to buy good (unattributed) Old Master drawings for under $500.
Rumor here in Toronto is that they are going to be working BKMP in the next month or so.
Well, they've got their work cut out for them, lol...
lol, I guess that's a good possibility...
And I suspect that the Sask. people with unregistered stock made out like bandits during the price rise.
Oh that's just brilliant.
Be content that it made you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
You seem to have missed the point of Bill's article.
What about the Sask investigation? Don't they want to protect the poor people Urbie sold unregistered stock to?
Are you a Jimmy clone? You sound exactly like him.
lol, sounds like a VERY unlikely leap. You can't just make up biotech stuff because it's the flavor of the week.
But if it has a reasonable float, it could spike on the next panic.
lol, at least you're a realist...
I don't see anything really outrageous. It's just all so very lame.
LOLOLOLISSIMO!!
Ok - it ain't gonna happen in the Louve, but me and Larry the cable guy are ready now for where ever they "exhibit" their "collection".
