NEOM Big move today. +57.5% yesterday on light volume. If volume gets strong it will fly.JMHO NeoReader for BlackBerry Now Available -- Easy Access to Mobile Content on the Go
Thursday September 11, 8:45 am ET
ATLANTA, GA--(MARKET WIRE)--Sep 11, 2008 -- NeoMedia Technologies (OTC BB:NEOM.OB - News), the global leader in camera-initiated transactions for mobile devices, announced today that their mobile barcode scanning application -- NeoReader® -- is now available for camera-enabled BlackBerry® smartphones from Research In Motion (RIM). The NeoReader transforms the BlackBerry into a barcode scanner which provides instant access to mobile content by clicking on 2D barcodes.
The NeoReader's simple "one click" access makes the mobile internet much more accessible for BlackBerry users -- by scanning 2D barcodes via the phone's camera, users avoid typing in long URLs and navigating cumbersome menus. The 2D barcodes serve as "hyperlinks" from printed mediums to mobile web content and are activated when and where users choose.
NeoReader-capable devices for the BlackBerry feature the Curve(TM) (8300, 8310, 8320) and Pearl(TM) (8100, 8110, 8120) product lines. BlackBerry users can download the NeoReader software to their phone by going to get.neoreader.com on their mobile browser. In addition to the BlackBerry, the NeoReader code scanning software is available for handsets from most major manufacturers (go to www.neoreader.com for more information regarding specific models).
"Offering a version of NeoReader for the BlackBerry enables us to reach a completely new group of smartphone users -- business professionals. High rates of data usage and time-constrained lives combine to make business professionals a very attractive market for mobile barcode scanning," states Iain McCready, CEO of NeoMedia. "The NeoReader for BlackBerry expands the NeoReader-capable handset universe across a critical platform. RIM leads the fast growing U.S. converged-device market with a 41% share(1). NeoMedia aims to leverage this rising consumer interest in a rich mobile experience by enabling a ubiquitous mobile barcode scanning market and ensuring consumer experiences with mobile scanning are secure, fast and reliable. I believe NeoReader can be the breakthrough needed to deliver the promise of an easy and accessible mobile internet experience."
The NeoReader is a universal barcode scanning application that reads standard 2D barcode symbologies -- QR, Data Matrix, Aztec -- so BlackBerry users won't need multiple barcode readers. Many companies are beginning to utilize 2D barcodes in their marketing and communications efforts. By installing the NeoReader, BlackBerry users will enjoy the value and convenience of a rich and relevant interactive experience wherever they encounter a mobile barcode.

Markets should turn hot and consumer spending should light up again.VBDG back up to .50 again. Booyah ski daddy.
TMA should be hot all this week
Dont know whether to add now or wait for further drop in PPS.
if we drop into the 1.50's then i might panick. Let's see what happens.
Any combo that adds up to seven and you win. Other than this on 2-12 you lose. Take profits when you can on these plays.GLTU
Public perception on these plays is everything. Most companies are overdone in debt. If there is a slight pop it wont last and all plays will come crashing down soon.. WEGI might get a small pop but I wouldnt hang in there too long. Who knows that Hanna wont vear off to the east. Besides it hardly looks to be a major threat. Take profits where you can.
Minor damage. Time to take profits.
Yippie post #2 and another chance at the bottom 10%.
When did/does the 2nd mill come on line?
Did you say your girlfriend uses a retractable mouse while at her pad?
Any additional credit VBDG gets should substantialy increase thier production. Im looking for some news on this before we hear about thier new product offerings. JMHO.
As of June 30, 2008, we had a working capital deficit of $2.4 million. Based on our anticipated growth, we believe that our cash requirements will increase. We require significant, up-front cash disbursements to operate our business, most notably in connection with the purchase of product inventory. Our current working capital resources, comprised of our present cash resources and bank lines of credit will be insufficient to fund additional growth of our operations over the next 12 months. We will seek to fund additional growth with increases to our credit line by using our receivables and inventory as collateral, and by seeking alternate debt or equity financing. We will also seek to renegotiate the terms of our 10% secured convertible notes. Our failure to raise the necessary additional capital resources or to renegotiate the terms of our debt could affect our ability to generate revenue and could require us to scale down some of our operations.
Raw....Any idea on the new financing? Should really help production which will translate into more sales?
Is there a minimum quantity of product that QVC buys?
A minimum purchase order is typically $30,000-$35,000 per item at wholesale cost, e.g. if the cost of goods is $30 per item, divide the total minimum purchase order amount by $30 to determine the quantity ($30,000/$30=1,000units). The entire purchase order quantity must be received in QVC’s warehouse before it can be available to sell on-air.
Going back on QVC Sept 1-2. According to the CC. http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=31502025
Labor Day weekend. QVC sales coming up. Watch em sell out fast.
Ho-hum another day at .45 At this rate I will be able to add @.35 again soon.
Big block buying 45k @.49

Vertical Branding Inc. (VBDG.OB) Finds Visibility Growing in a Slower Economy
Posted on Friday, August 8th, 2008 | In Market Commentary, OTCBB Markets, Small & Micro Cap, Stocks to Watch
Contributed by: QualityStocks (http://QualityStocks.net) -
A poor economy always ends up with an odd assortment of winners and losers. Those companies that feasted on a solid economy of ever-spending consumers are quickly falling out of favor. Those offering less expensive but quality products, however, are now finding sales on the move and good times where once they were marginal. Finding safe haven in these uncertain economic times may be difficult, but if investors look hard enough there are profits still to be made.
Vertical Branding Inc., a consumer products company, works to sell household, beauty and personal care products through its extensive wholesale, Internet, print and direct-response television marketing systems. The company also controls a small real estate holding in Connecticut.
Although the company operates at several different levels of the retail distribution chain, it is its position as a go-between for the manufacturer and retailer that has brought it success. The company views its role as a facilitator rather than merely a supplier, which has enabled it to achieve premium placement in the drugstores and mass merchants that it serves. Perhaps the best recognized placement display, that might identify the company’s products and successes, is the “As Seen on TV†display caps located in strategic locations within these retail outlets. Additionally, another often noticed channel that the company has taken advantage of is the wholesale selling of products often seen on direct response television – more often referred to as “infomercials.†In the second quarter 2008, the company’s best selling products include: SteamBuddy, Hercules Hook, ZorbEEZ, and the EZ Foldz Step Stool.
The company has been having solid successes in recent quarters as outlets are added and new products are brought under the company’s marketing and distribution control. Its primary direction, however, is to move beyond its current wholesaler status toward being a direct supplier to retailers. In either event, the company expects sales to find a solid footing in coming quarters as a weak economy drives customers toward its retail demographic. Where other major retailers are finding difficult times in this current economy, Vertical Branding Inc. is finding solid results and hopes of expansion.

I can never figure the Zman out. Its all over the place and it seems it always drops further than anyone would have dared thought.
How does anti-dilutive actually work?
When you are looking ahead and calculating possible future share price based on p/e are you including the 50 million or so shares that may be in existence through the warrants coming into play? May be in existence....meaning total.....through the warrants coming into play......meaning they add to current share count thus increasing the total. Is the glass half empty or half full?
Which brings the total to around 50 million
When you are looking ahead and calculating possible future share price based on p/e are you including the 50 million or so shares that may be in existence through the warrants coming into play?
I guess when they roll out new products before next quarter will provide the next spark.
Ho hum. Another day at .50
Tina asked me for a date but never showed up. I had milk and oreos on the table, and Vege-tale videos waiting for us but I guess she was looking for something extra. She's gotta be crazy if she thinks I will share my NESQUICK with her. GEEZ, women these days.
Or milk and oreo's.
They are selling out as fast as they can make em and you still have whiners here trying to put a negative spin on it.
Everybody looks ahead when investing in stocks.
