4X.....I remember someone stating, that as long as Upgrades represent a small percentage, they will be recongized over a 12 month period like maintenance fees. Perhaps we get exact numbers from upgrades sales now, since the amount has become a bigger part of Waves revenues.
I don't know if I'm wrong here, so please could anyone remember this?

Ramsey....what we have to consider is, that if ERAS is sold through a partner or an OEM, Wave has to pay a percentage to the OEM. So I think 4X is near the amount Wave collects.

Thx Snacks, well I don't have the number of shares I'd want to hold, but enough to make me happy in the next months.
Probably there are 100s of small 50-100 seats implementations we don't know of....and we wont hear about our Pizza like implementations in the future, but these customers add to our bottom line too.
Best to you and yours too! Looking forwar to meet you all this year.

Hi all!
Happy new year.
This is what we have waited for. Make no mistake, this is the proof that Wave will get the necessary attention and the expected market share. And yes GK other companies have seen this too and they will build support in their products for SEDs too, but Wave has the knowledge and the OEMs to become market leader in this new emerging industry.
Snack you'll have to correct your footer to "20" and above in 2010!LOL
Best regards to all, who have supported this little company

Ramsey......it's not possible to manage the SED with ETDM and the TPM with IFX. The only reason for the IFX driver package offered at Dell is the fact that it comes for free with the TPM. The IFX package is not even installed with the Vostro with TPM. On the other side, if you order a Vostro with SED, it comes with the full Wave package.
RE: HP
Similar to Dell, HP machine come with preinstalled HP Embedded ecurity subsystem. This is a set of tools (IFX Protect tools, HP credential manager and so on), which can be managed throught one front end. (similar to the Control point).
If the TPM remains deactivated all credentials are stored in software.
So if you want to deliver Waves ETS on HP machines with XP you have the problem, that deinstalling the Protect Tools would kill the TPM driver and the IFX TSS too. Unfortunately IFX doesn't offer their TSS as a download (like NTRU) as far as I know.
So the best option is to leave the package on the machine, activate the TPM and don't tell the HP subsystem, that you have activated the TPM!LOL
For me, the only way is a special image for HP/SED/ETDM customers to make this work. Of course when SEDs become mainstream, they should decide to bundle ESC/ETDM.

4x......re: revs
first, I think we should clarify the different revenue stream, especially the terms "upgrades", maintenance and bundling.
I don't know what most mean with upgrades. Waves ETS is bundled on several OEMs and can be purchased separately, when not bundled, but IMO you don't have to upgrade a Dell version.
So there are bundling, sales and maintenance revenues.
Don't forget, that revenues from SEDs (about 7$ per drive coming from an OEM) are frm the BUNDLING revenue stream.
ERAS (server)seats and ETS (client)sales are the so called upgrades.
The maintenance contracts sold with the ERAS seats are recognized over a period of a year. (unfortunately like the sales, at this point in time)
IMO the recongnition of sales revenues will be recognized when the occur, if these sales increase and become a bigger number, while maintenance fees will always be recognized over a year.
So if we speak of bundling revenues, we have to realize that SED revenues from Dell are incorporated in this number.
So let me make my guess.
DELL bundling (incl. SEDs at 7$ per)
20M-24M (assuming the royalities remain at this levels)
ACER bundling
2M
Other future OEMs:
1M
Chip ESC:
1M
GOV:
1M
ERAS seats:
2.5M
Maintenance from ERAS:
400K
So my low end is about 28M in 2010 or about 10 cents earnings with a PE of 40 is about 4bucks in 2010.
Since the market is about 6 months early, I think we'll see 4 bucks in May.
Of course any surprise to the upside would be welcome!LOL

Doma, 4x..RE: Vostro
It's impossible to use two different TPM management packages at one time. So there are two different szenarios.
Further you don't have to install a TPM driver when you are using Vista or Windows 7. Doma you will find the Infineon TPM driver when you choose the OS XP.
1. Vostro with TPM and SED
ONLY Wave ETS with TDM and the IFX TPM driver (already integrated in Vista and WIN 7)
2. Vostro with TPM , NO SED
Wave ETS or IFX Professional package (only with IFX TPM)
Have a nice sunday

Maynard......RE:TrouSerS
It's an open source TSS working on the 1.1 specification. OpenTC is using this stack. Compareable to IFX TSS and NTRU TSS, but way behind.....

Ramsey....right on and beside SEDs, Windows 7 will drive TPM activation. I know we all said it about Vista too, but this time MS is promoting Bitlocker agressively. Its possible to manage TPMs centrally with MS server 2008, but you have to know alot about TPM management and you have to use the console. So my guess is, we'll see more and more enterprise customers using ERAS to manage TPMs.
