Ramsey......it's not possible to manage the SED with ETDM and the TPM with IFX. The only reason for the IFX driver package offered at Dell is the fact that it comes for free with the TPM. The IFX package is not even installed with the Vostro with TPM. On the other side, if you order a Vostro with SED, it comes with the full Wave package.

RE: HP
Similar to Dell, HP machine come with preinstalled HP Embedded ecurity subsystem. This is a set of tools (IFX Protect tools, HP credential manager and so on), which can be managed throught one front end. (similar to the Control point).
If the TPM remains deactivated all credentials are stored in software.
So if you want to deliver Waves ETS on HP machines with XP you have the problem, that deinstalling the Protect Tools would kill the TPM driver and the IFX TSS too. Unfortunately IFX doesn't offer their TSS as a download (like NTRU) as far as I know.
So the best option is to leave the package on the machine, activate the TPM and don't tell the HP subsystem, that you have activated the TPM!LOL

For me, the only way is a special image for HP/SED/ETDM customers to make this work. Of course when SEDs become mainstream, they should decide to bundle ESC/ETDM.
