Stating so should come as no surprise on an investment board.
you sold 1/2 your position, if I remember right @ 1.80
I am sure you will do the same when you preset targets hit again
not hint about it like you know its near.
The time period a normal functioning biotech would, under the same circumstances, have already submitted a request for approval for DCVAXL has long come to pass.
Therefore one can conclude that NWBO management is deliberately not submitting a request for approval
where the CEO seems to have done well for herself.
Jim,
I don't make predications when it comes to biotech...its a futile guessing game. There are so many variables that time-lines are tough to predict. When you have powerful regulatory body's of the Government dictating whether you can sell a product or not, small biotech's are very wise to say silent. Particularly after a successful, pivotal Phase 3 trial. Never get ahead of the FDA and the like, ever. They dont like when Company's give false hope or released information while being advised by them on the next steps, or when you submit a New Drug Application (NDA). Most Biotech investors think all these decisions to release information (or not) are made in a vacuum, within the company. Little do they know that the FDA is involved way more than they think....trial design advise, NDA submission advise, etc. are all things the FDA has a open door policy on. All I can do is invest according to what is known, and what is unknown but probable based on facts I have at the time.
I do make predications on SP however as milestones are reached, or not. I also have predetermined % gains I will set when I buy a stock. Always do and never stray from these. "A bird in hand is better than two in the bush"...as the old saying goes. It helped me "lock-in" some major profits without worrying about giving them back to WS. I did this on 5/8 with NW Bio and was happy I did. Sold 1/2 my position. I did re-enter but at a much lower price, and now hold a very sizeable position in NW Bio and have been adding daily for the past 5 weeks. I know own way more than I did on 5/8 and not selling anytime soon.
Good things are coming to NW Bio. Mark my words.

whopping $17 exchanged hands today
I understand that we are now so far into that process that the scenario of it getting ‘shelved’ is non-existent
Management has ostensibly restricted the information it provides to shareholders, well beyond what’s considered reasonable for a public company. And I might add, what’s necessary to make well informed investment decisions.
I don't find a reasonable argument for BP and NWBO to diddle daddle for some time horizon to come and go
Volume proceeds price, always. Just remember that. And todays volume is what above the average? Hmmmm.......
-Fireman
I firmly believe that we could more than double in a day
Death and Taxes are the only absolute certains in in life. But we can make well informed, intelligent decisions based on the FACTS we have from DD, and not rumor or pure speculation. I told you some facts, its your job, if you dont agree with them, to dispute my facts with facts of your own. I am willing to listen. But so far you just gave me opinion based on nothing other than a anonymous poster I do not trust because of of his/her track record surrounding the stock in question.
Opportunity knocks for those that pick up on things that others missed, just cant see, or have an alternative motive for telling everyone why they shouldn't own a stock. I listen to myself and myself only. Example: While I am very bullish on NW Bio, back on May 8th everyone on this board was saying it was going to $10 a share and I shouldn't sell half my position. I did anyway....120k shares I purchased for under .80 sold for over $1.80. I listened to myself and didnt let anyone sway me on a decision I think is right and just. What if the stock did go to $10....win some, lose some but I will take known profits over speculation of profits 6 days a week, and twice on Sunday. Listen to yourself, and nobody else. Unless of couse you are 100% sure they are an expert in the field you are investing in. Dr. Linda Liaui, Dr. Keyourmars Ashkans , Dr. Albert Mussella, Dr. Paul Mulholland, and Dr. Shashi Murphy are. I will listen and take advice from them. No "Fireman" or "dennisdave" can replace the knowledge and experience these folks have in regards to GBM. But believe what you want.....the voice inside you head, or world renowned experts. The choice is yours. Place your bet accordingly. I have.
-Fireman
I am not saying its easy, but facts are facts. I just gave you some. As far as Investor: I dont trust anything he says. He claimed that the PDD Trial failed (and has knocked AVXL every step of the way...going back to $3) when it fact it was a HUGE success and Anavex is working with the FDA to design a short and sweet PH3 PDD trial that will start sometime soon. Be careful who you take advice from, and also giving advice, unless backed by facts and the totality of circumstances.
-Fireman
Dennis,
You dont submit a late-breaking abstract to CTAD, the worlds largest and well attended ALZ conference in the world, with just mediocre results. Also, the FDA requiring Anavex to run another P3 trial is the most ridiculous thing circulating. 2-73 is in multiple trials.....Rett, Alz, PDD and has proven to be very safe and effective with almost 90% of patients in all the trials opting for trial extension. . If they beat Biogens Alz drug, which isnt hard to do, it will be approved. Using DNA to find certain DNA that super-responders and responders have in common, the power of the trial doesn't need to be huge like in the past. Those that claim that are about 10 years behind in their thinking, or just trying to spread BS.
As far as NW Bio goes, I suspect application in UK to market DCVax has already been done. Is the ink drying???? Probably.
-Fireman
flash-over
several products have been approved that are just as production heavy as DCVax without Flaskwork..
Dennis,
Anavex just submitted a Late-Breaking Abstract for a pivotal Phase 3 Alzheimer's at CTAD on 12/1. They are also do for the pediatric Rett Phase 2 readout which if "meshes" with what the data was with the Adult Rett trial, it will be approved by the FDA. I suspect the soon...Q1 2023. And if PH3 Alz results are superb, $50-75 isn't out of the question, maybe even higher. My point is Anavex isn't that far behind NW Bio and the market in the CNS Bio space is huge, staggering actually. I have owned Anavex since 2015 and made a sizable sum during the intra-day run to $31...had a DCA at one point of $2.15. Sold all above $28, then re-entry with a $9.10 DCA on a huge amount of shares. Anavex has been very, very good too me. What is happenings to NW is no different that what has happened to AVXL...>FUD, AF, Shorts, etc. Things will get straightened out as the market has a funny way of playing catch-up sometime. My suspicions of what has been happening with NWs' SP was confirmed last week. 2 months from the now the picture will look a whole lot different, and I continue to accumulate shares, a lot of shares, until then. Time is all that is needed, and I am not talking about years or months.
-Fireman
No.
My friend knows a lot of very successful people. Some of which have deep ties in the biotech space and also Hedge Fund activity's surrounding the biotech space. Several different factors are at play here. You, and everyone else on this board will eventually find out. Ill just say this....my "guess" about short covering the past 4-5 weeks was 100% correct and also about who was facilitating it. That's all I can and will say.
-Fireman
Frrol,
I think you're missing the point.
This is absurd and really doesn't even deserve a response. But had to say how "absurd" it was because it truly is that "absurd".
-Fireman
You'll see
;)
-Fireman
Once again, as I have been saying for the past month, this is a very well orchestrated short-covering operation that started last month and it isnt retail, Hedge Fund(s) no doubt. They have another 3-4 weeks and they know it. So easy to see. I actually welcome it. Thanks for those 23,345 @ .64. I truly do appreciate it.
-Fireman
Gary,
The "quite period" has been used loosely around here for some time. I do not think NW Bio is in a quite period similar to others stocks I have owned as they still are releasing some information as it comes available. In the past, I have had companies say nothing for 1 year because QPs are usually used during buy-outs and acquisitions. I think what NW Bio is doing here, with pivotal PH3 results pending, is A-typical of what almost all other small biotech's I have owned have done. Say what you need to say, but keep anything that doesn't need to be reported tight to the vest until the proper time and place. Lets also keep in mind that this could change the very landscape of how cancer is treated in the future. It pretty huge. NW Bio is doing the correct thing in keeping everything tight to the vest until the appropriate time. My point is a typical quite period is usually a legal term, agreed upon by 2 parties in negotiations and vetted by M & A lawyers for each side. But then again NW Bio isnt in a "typical" situation here.
-Fireman
Amen. Me too. I prefer the Star Spangled Banner though. I was once on a mountain-side in Northwest Montana, the Bitterroot to be exact, fighting a pretty large fire that was pretty tough to contain.....took 4.5 weeks. After that fire we sat there on the final night, which was crystal clear and the Aura Borealis was visible , the whole crew spontaneously sang the SSB, it was beautiful and one of the highlights of my career.
Thanks for reminding me of that. It made my night.
-Fireman
yes, pretty much. Let someone else make the decisions for you in what/what not to invest in. Its what some prudent folks do when they know better than picking their own stocks/investment vehicles. ETFs are a great way to be involved in the market but limit the amount of time/energy involved in investing. I know plenty of folks with way more cash than I, that have that go this route, and have made some decent money doing so. When you have $5+ million in cash, you only need to make 10-15% YOY to be happy. Its all about limiting risk at that point. Halfway there myself, but still enjoy researching and doing my own investing. Some people dont and therefore shouldn't. Some people think they do, but they shouldn't. A good bear market weeds these folks out, while providing opportunity for others. Its just the way this "game" works and its not going to change anytime soon.
-Fireman
I suggest you learn more about SEC reporting and how Institutions can delay reporting using a few different legal mechanisms. Understand, us retail investors are not playing on a level playing field. It tilted so far to the other side it almost criminal. But it isn't, which is why they can get away with it. Its their game, not mine or yours, we are just along for the ride. The sooner we all realize this, the easier investing becomes.
As far as accumulation. Its very easy to see. Believe me or not. Just stating my own observations and experiences with other stocks in the past that have made major moves after similar trading action.
-Fireman
Any shareholder who has held this many years is not a ‘weak hand’ or any similarly insulting thing.
Rather they are ‘strong hands’ who have hung from the edge of the cliff and hand their hands stomped on by NWBO management with let down after let down.
Gary,
They don't need a Journal to get the DCvax approved. While it will be nice to have, it wont have much bearing on MHRA or FDA approval. I could care less about it to be 100% truthful with you. So much time discussing the JA on this board, but yet it wont even play into approval, which is the ultimate goal. Its absurd.
-Fireman
None of these questions even matter. You either believe DCVax works and will be approved or it doesn't and wont. These are the ultimate questions that matters. Not whether the compnay "officially" released TLD nor not, or whether the clinicaltrials.gov website was updated or not. We all know the data, as it has been presented at multiple conferences since 5/10. The data speaks for itself. Name another GBM trial with a long-tail and survivor's surpassing 5 years......
"I look forward to the responses"
-Fireman
LBSR,
AVXL = Stealth accumulation, big time.
As far as NW Bio. Fireworks in November.
-Fireman
but in November l’ll need to begin unwinding down to some level TBD.
Why wasnt the "market" forward looking in Nvdia in 2015 and trading at $14-19 per? 2 years later it was $600 a share and 3 years later close to $1000. I can tell you why, because markets frequently price things wrong. I call it opportunity. If everything on WS was priced correctly we would all be making 5-10% a year and thats it. Not 100-1000% in stocks that are mis-priced by the "market". Eventually things do get priced correctly and that is exactly what will happen here. I few more months or less is all that is needed. We are getting extremally close. I have been adding by the truck-load the past 2 weeks as time is running out on this ticker trading below $1
-Fireman
very well orchestrated, the past 4-5 weeks, by them shorts. These are not retail shorts that are covering as there is no way these Market Makers would be helping them in this type of way. It bigger hands that are holding the pot and they are being helped with the unwinding of these short positions. Seen it before.
Another 23,450 shares in the coffer today. Too easy to see what is happening here. November/December most likely will be spectacular.
-Fireman
NW Bio has never had Phase 3 results in-hand, ever. Comparing the past events to future is not applicable in this case. You can compare what happened in the past 10 years with any company, but it does little to predict the future.
People said Tesla was going CH11 when they has no cars to sell and only small, micro produced EVs. People said NVDA was "done" after bailing out of the CDMA mobile chip market to strictly concentrate on producing GPUs and their Cuda Data Center biz. Things change, and those that realize and act on these major changes within a company are always at the ground level of a major move. Those that don't never truly make much money in the Markets. They are to stuck in the past to make the proper decisions for any meaningful money to come their way. I am not here to make $100k, I am here to make $10 million and have bought enough shares to make that a reality. Its coming regardless of what happened in the past. It has zero bearing of what is going to happen in the future.
The glass isn't always half empty. GL.
-Fireman
Ultimately if NWBO went belly up Dr. Liau would have found someone else to find further research or just focused on Direct.
its called "opportunity". Look it up, its in "Investing 101".
-Fireman
My DCA is .67. I am fine with that. If I invested elsewhere I would be -20+%. This isnt the same market as it was for the last 12 years, in which we seen a super-cycle of the likes that happens once in a lifetime. I made my money and got out and currently only hold 2 positions...AVXL and NWBO. Opportunity cost to me is 4% in the green. Looks like you bought to early. Stay the course, you will be just fine however.
GL
-Fireman
Yes. Notice how this subject doesnt get much mention anymore. Funny how that works.
One bowling pin at a time. The "strike" comes in November. Just watch.
-Fireman
Does 2-3 months make a difference as long as the drug is approved? I do believe UK approval will be this year, but the bigger SP moving event happens in Q1 2023.....US FDA approval. By then it wont matter. I can wait another 6 months if needed. It only allows me to accumulate more shares. 59k added today. With this being said, I dont think it will take another 6 months. Very, very soon.
Be careful, as Karma has a very funny way of working.
-Fireman
Other companies do PR acceptance of approved trial design. PIP is pretty big news as it’s a prerequisite to MHRA approval for DCVax in adults. Down playing its importance goes to show you how little you may know? Pediatric trials are also under increased scrutiny for obvious reasons. The fact that the design was approved and endpoints and trial design are the same as the adult Phase 3 is a glaring admission that everything is on track in the UK. Spin it how you like however, nobody with any experience in this field believes you
