Gary,

The "quite period" has been used loosely around here for some time. I do not think NW Bio is in a quite period similar to others stocks I have owned as they still are releasing some information as it comes available. In the past, I have had companies say nothing for 1 year because QPs are usually used during buy-outs and acquisitions. I think what NW Bio is doing here, with pivotal PH3 results pending, is A-typical of what almost all other small biotech's I have owned have done. Say what you need to say, but keep anything that doesn't need to be reported tight to the vest until the proper time and place. Lets also keep in mind that this could change the very landscape of how cancer is treated in the future. It pretty huge. NW Bio is doing the correct thing in keeping everything tight to the vest until the appropriate time. My point is a typical quite period is usually a legal term, agreed upon by 2 parties in negotiations and vetted by M & A lawyers for each side. But then again NW Bio isnt in a "typical" situation here.
