What will the advantage be to a phone operated by a modem card? I am wondering how well one would work and be recharged. Judging from my past experience with mobile phones, it does sound like it would have tremendous potential.
Really. This must confirm my newbie status. I had no idea the market closed at 4 p.m.
This looks like it went up, down and around in terms of price. Can you folks explain this? Thanks!
Well, it is going up. I hope this continues for the next hour. It would be great to see .02 at 5 p.m.
The stock price increase today is thrilling! To see it up 200 percent is incredible! How many of you investors are excited? Please tell me what your hopes are for the stock based on this performance.
It could happen. However, we have only two hours until the closing of the market, I think. This may take more time.
I have three questions about the unconventional gas well stimulation. What are the benefits of the 100 percent recycle rate? What is a carbon footprint? How much lower is it than normal and how does that affect things?
This sounds fairly diverse. I am assuming this must create some economic stability for the company. However, the current climate must have some effect on this. Do you think they will continue to remain strong in spite of difficult times?
No, they are not. I have been advised against this. If you knew my past investing record, I am better off not doing this.
This appears to be a company that focuses predominantly on helping with residental wastewater issues. Are a lot of the areas they help new construction? If so, how has the economic downturn affected this?
I am just curious if Neohydro is primarily involved with wastewater in the oil and gas industry. If it is just one of a number of industries they assist, what are some other dominant ones?
I am not entirely certain my broker sells stock, but I am reasonably sure. The mutual fund package we are considering includes some.
I am in no hurry to buy stock. My own cash flow will need to improve.
What is their average monthly production of iron ore and nickel? Has this been affected by the economic slowdown worldwide?
I looked at today's intraday results and end stock price, between 3.50 and 4 dollars. Considering the dramatic decline in stock price during 2008, Citigroup appears to be in free fall. Does anyone want to speculate on where they think the company will be in a year? Is anyone thinking it may no longer exist?
Does anyone wish to speculate if this possible default could be due to the problems in the auto industry?
What an incredible day! I've never seen a stock price increase of over 500 percent in one day! How exciting! I will have to keep a close watch on this.
I guess you haven't been talking to my stock broker. He's been telling me now is the time to buy as prices are low. Right now, I'm debating about some mutual funds for retirement money but am seriously toying about some modestly priced quality stock. We did discuss GE. Perhaps I will handle that later.
I see. This is news to me. I must confess it's getting close to 25 years since I took high school chemistry and I only was a C student. I can't recall any such experiment in our class, but I may just have been bewildered and have a fuzzy recall after so long.
How encouraging to hear about this substantial new contract! I am getting excited already. Does anybody think the stock price will increase soon based on this news? Today's intraday results looked like a roller coaster.
I have a feeling they will be needing more workers for the project. Does anyone else have similar instincts?
I am glad to hear Morgan Stanley is in good financial health. However, it is sad to hear that 1500 to 1800 people could be out of work. I understand profit is important, but humans are too. The thought of 8,500 to 8,800 people (a grand total including the earlier 7,000 receiving the axe) possibly doing without is sad. I hope many of them are going to find new positions soon.
Bravo to Lewis and Pandit! It is good they were testifying at the House subcommittee meeting. Perhaps this possible breather on foreclosures could help people get it together. I hope they aren't expecting too much from the federal government. Too much intervention could cause any economic improvement to be nil at some point as we could end up just paying a lot more in taxes.
I just re-read your posting as well as the letter you sent. Based on your information, there is no valid argument I can make against what you said legitimately. In my posting, I was merely referring to my own personal experience with Chase's VISA, which has provided me with some pleasant cash rewards. My comment was probably largely irrelevant.
I am happy to see the 26 percent increase in the stock price today. This must give encouragement to its investors.
I see this company focuses on industrial waste water treatment. Does anyone think they may eventually become more involved with sewage issues with local communities? It was not unusual for me to go to village/township trustee council meetings as a reporter almost 20 years ago and hear tremendous discussion regarding raw sewage.
I wasn't thinking about going swimming in it. Rather, I was pondering safety for whoever is taking care of the machines doing the work. The entire process sounds full of potential for probable electric shock or electrocution unless I am not seeing a clear picture of how this is done.
It would be great to see that kind of finish. I know we don't have a whole lot of trading time left. However, as it would only require a 2 cent increase, why not be hopeful?
I just looked at the pictures showing the electrolysis process. I understand much more than I had just a few minutes ago. My main confusion at this moment is how electrolysis, which involves electrical current, could be used in water. I am currently picturing it as being dangerous. Someone please clear this up for me.
I am intrigued by this company's use of electrolysis to separate salt and water. Previously, I had thought electrolysis to be a process used exclusively for hair removal. Can someone describe the procedure to me in full? It sounds fascinating.
This letter you wrote was illuminating. I would not have thought JP Morgan Chase to be somewhat reckless or careless in its acquisition of a bank. Based on my experience with them as a credit card holder, they are among the best. I am hoping this is just an oddity in their otherwise stellar history.
It would be nice to see a recovery to $1. Given it is now 3:25 p.m. Eastern Standard Time and we currently have 95 cents, I am not holding my breath.
Will many Bebida stock holders be going to see Dan Hardy at UFC95 on February 21?
The fact we have been given just generalities from the Treasury Department on the stimulus plan is not comforting. How can people confidently invest when they can only suspect that more of their hard earned cash may soon be going out to pay a growing national deficit? I do not imagine Citigroup stock will increase in value much anytime soon.
This sounds downright painful for stockholders. I realize the restructuring must be necessary. Nevertheless, those investing in GE will be very sad they are not receiving as much on their stocks this year.
Can someone explain yesterday's reverse split of common stock of 1 for 175? Right now, it sounds like a nose dive in profits, but I am so inexperienced I am willing to gladly assume I could well be very, very wrong.
Based on their lack of specifics on government bailout funding, I think I will have to call myself bearish on any increases in interest rates on Treasury bonds.
Thank you for the Yahoo! article. It had very insightful information regarding Rite Aid. I was not aware they had experienced such dire straits following those 2007 acquisitions. My cousin works for them and when I spoke with her in October, I didn't get the idea it was quite this bad. Perhaps it won't be long before the store she works in closes.
No. I just reviewed over today's stock price report. So far, it looks about the same as yesterday. Maybe more excitement is ahead later.
I am intrigued by the MG3 technology which I just read about that Media G3 is developing in China. Does anybody think this would be a good idea for rural areas here in the United States? How do you think it would be financed?
I understand.
That's too bad.
