doggy, you're not making any substantive points. the PPS is undervalued even if Smith's real last name was Soprano. Smith is not the entire league. we covered this the other day. so what the heck is your point? please impress us and say something meaningful or back anything you say up with some EVIDENCE.
big possible moves for the WHA! if all that stuff goes down it'd be awesome. dog, produce evidence now or go play in an AOL chatroom.
what do you mean stockslayer?
why does a deleted message show on this board?
what was the deleted message? how did you see it?
exactly! also, if he is dirty, why would hull and co. use him as the vocal point man for the legal pursuit of briner? unless they're totally clueless. you'd think, though, that after all this hubub, corporate (backers, ex-stars, anyone involved who's decent) would have looked into this and figured it out.
i meant to say "in the latter scenario"!
regardless of the facts at this point, once the lawsuit is filed this situation will get interesting. it's clear that briner is a disastrous criminal. if ricky is totally clean, then it should be off-to-the-races for the PPS and huzzah for us. if ricky is complicit or dirty in any way, then we might have some problems. in the former scenario, if the league continues on, ricky will be replaced and we should still get compensated. i doubt hull, unger and co. would be in on it too. however, if the league folds, someone will still be paying a ton of penalties, remuneration etc. (as a result of all the funny stuff), which should go back to the shareholders anyway, since we're the real screwees. what bothers me most about the dirty ricky scenario is: why would he so vociferously pursue a lawsuit, which forces the court and the public to look into his actions and (dirty) dealings? why wouldn't he just bounce? it doesn't make sense. dirty players don't usually run to the courts (while yelling!) when they get screwed. it's too risky.
how do you know there's been no dilution?
doesn't it seems unlikely that Crofts and the rest of GDVM's board had no knowledge of all the illegal stuff briner was doing?
if everyone sues GDVM for multi-millions, will there be enough to go around?
who deleted them, the poster or ihub? were they pure libel, or anything interesting?
i didn't call you anything. the WHA seems to clearly be in arrears on some things (maybe a lot of things), and i thought that this resulted from the Briner bull$$$$. you're saying the WHA basically doesn't exist, has no product, etc.! big claims. we'll see.
i admit the article in the Edmonton Journal is not good, but couldn't all those troubles be attributed to the Briner fiasco? in any case, i hope the league's rep is not permanently damaged. one would think that if the results of the suit are positive, and people/cities know who was responsible, grudges would be forgotten.
over, you're making me feel warm and fuzzy inside. hawk, provide some verification if you want respect on this board...shoot some links, or something!
could you please send us some links with this public info, mainstream media stuff?
also, other hockey chat boards have claimed that they just played a championship series with their affiliated league, the GMHL!
looks like some big buys!
i can't wait for this
do not invest in this! the briner family and associates are total scam artists, committing every kind of stock fraud imaginable. read the GDVM (briner's company) and WHKA boards. he just stepped down as CEO of GDVM (tonight!) because he's under serious heat from a WHKA lawsuit.

uh-oh!!! here we go boys and girls
thanks over.
with respect to buying shares through a brokerage, does it matter that there are so many illegal shares out there, i.e. does it matter whether you buy the illegal ones or the properly issued ones?
this is getting crazy! the amount of damning evidence the briners are leaving behind is ridiculous. the real crime will be if these guys don't get what's coming to them.
don't count on it.
does anyone know anything about the attorney that WHA hired? i've been involved in some commercial litigation and, as one would assume, the individual ability and effort of an attorney plays a very big role in the outcome, even in seemingly "open-and-shut" cases. how sharp this guy is could be the difference between a huge (and deserved) benefit for us and a mediocre settlement.
Martindale-Hubbell (www.martindale.com) is THE national legal directory. a search of Michael Kulwin in nevada produced this:
http://www.martindale.com/xp/Martindale/Lawyer_Locator/Search_Lawyer_Locator/search_detail.xml?STS=3...
he's BV Peer Review Rated, which is a good sign. check the link on the above page for a description of the peer review rating system.
also, i know this was mentioned before, but if anyone has good contact with Ricky Smith, don't hesitate to provide him or the attorney with any of the info or findings posted on this board. don't assume they're good at research just cause you are.
starting to smell serious blood here. there's probably not much we can do about the choice of attorney, but i'm just a nervous, concerned nellie.
but the insiders could own some of the float, couldn't they?
originally, 46M, but CEO estimates that Briner and Co. issued 100M illegal shares.
what are shakes? and what's the tipping point wrt control of the float? any way to find out how much we're/they're holding?
please excuse my extreme ignorance. love to learn from you guys. the bigger contributors on this board have provided some awesome info, awesome DD. awesome!
newbie here. been following this saga closely for awhile, and slowly accumulating some shares. the potential here seems tremendous.
what are the consequences of retail buying/no retail selling? regardless of any PR, how long can they hold the pps if that continues?
