The court document says both parties asked for a 90 day stay to settle/reach an agreement about the CLYW-TMobile patent infringement suit rather than go to trial. I fully expect the Daic criminal gang will do everything they can to postpone his trial again or to deny CLYW the resources to pursue justice in court. All rests on the BOD and its ability to fund the trials. I am very optimistic.
As a "long," I have accumulated stock at an average price per share of 4 cents. Thus, I have little or nothing to lose to see how high it might go. I have a target of $3/share. Until then, I ain't sellin'.
Who is the current legal team and how is CLYW financing the litigation?
Thanks for the update.
I've been reviewing some of the legal docs from 2005-2008. What prevented CLYW then from enjoying the value of its intellectual property? Daic? Pattin? Other? If so, how has he now been neutered because of the work done by the new BOD? Better legal representation? What has been reported indicates that he is a sleazeball with planet-sized greed. Fine. What is different in this month's trial? Thanks.
... and then they lock you out from posting anything else. Pitiful.
Forget Yahoo Calypso Message Board. Any positive remarks about Calypso are deleted. Board is being run by CLYW detractors.
Couple of aggressive shorters and day traders over at Yahoo Calypso message board. They tag-team one another with spittle-flying diatribes about CLYW and its stock holders. Good for a laugh if you are bored!
Sure sounds like CLYW's patent...
The continued volatility in the stock in the absence of any real news is puzzeling. Perhaps some have additional info we lack.
Volume remains brisk... 3.3M shares traded so far...almost back to day's start price since news of officer buying more shares.
"SMA"?
I suggest buying small lots as the price drifts down. The stock is behaving exactly as theory predicts.
What happened to Richard Pattin? He was a stock broker. Has he returned to that?
Thanks for the information.
Very interesting letter. Two questions:
1. Why is there no attorney involved with/cosigning the letter? Has it been filed as admissible evidence in the current case? Where is there confirmation that Daic ever received it?
2. Why is Mr. Daic in such a different position now vs. 2009 that he will have to capitulate?
Thanks.
Your opinion. Fine. But, as a lawyer friend once told me, "If you get a good settlement offer, take it. Juries are one of the most unpredictable and, yes, irrational groups on the face of the Earth." I sense T-Mobile quietly acknowledges this with their
written offer to try and settle (not an offer to settle, an offer to consider settlement). Words have meanings. As for the two men you mention that I have never met and know nothing about, let them speak for themselves.
As for the court papers discussed and posted here, let me reiterate: nothing has really been resolved. There is lot of talk of Daic being "toast" before his trial starts. That's just dumb. As I noted in my earlier post, a was in court when a guilty-as-sin defendent walked, smiling and being congratulated by others. CLYW may be a gold mine soon. Or not.
I have invested in CLYW over the years because I believe it is a good bet. I have sold no stock, even at time when it was up, because I believe it will go much higher in the foreseeable future. But please don't come after me personally for posting something with which you disagree. That's simply childish.
The only thing clear at this point is that no one on this message board has any real idea of what is going on, just guesses based upon incomplete and contradictory information. I have been involved as a plantiff in several law suits. What happens in court can sometimes approximate an episode of the "Twilight Zone."
Evidence is ruled excluded. Bad judges happen. Juries can make you want to poke your own eyes out. At a recent malpractice trial, where the doctor was guilty as sin in killing a patient through neglect, the jury ruled unanimously for the doctor because the late patient was already dead and it had happened seven years ago, and "why now ruin the doctor's life?" On the other hand, in another trial, the defendendent got exactly what she deserved.
The good news is that T-Mobile and Calypso have issued a statement in court to the effect that they think they can hammer-out a deal witjhin 90 days rather than enter into the Bizzaro World of court. Fine. As to Daic, what has been discussed here is so confused and contradictory that I cannot get any sound idea of what is going on with him. As a long-time CLYW investor (seven years), I have gradually accumulated a large amount of CLYW in bits and pieces. We are now at one of the several cross-roads that CLYW has crossed in the past 10-12 years. The stock looks as if it can, by December, explode out to more than $2/share and hit $10/share in the near future. That would be great. But remember, companies act on self-interest. If the stealers of CLYW's patents think it would be better for them, they are likely to continue stealing it against a possible court judgment that would suddenly make CLYW insanely rich at their expense. The Daic situation has been so muddily presented here that I don't know what is more likely: he gets tossed with his 30 million shares (which would, at $2, make him very rich), or, that he digs-in and so delays and disrupts the court that the issue remains unresolved. There is also a real but small chance a court would award him all the patents, and that would be the end of CLYW in all but name.
Never, ever underestimate the greed and evil of some people. When/if I hear that Daic is finally going to get justice for his alleged crimes, I'll feel more positive. From what has been said here, I believe there is a better than even chance CLYW will finally get the money it is owed and that Daics will never be heard from again. We'll see. I remain very optimistic.
The greedy and lawless use Lawfare to stop companies like CLYW from ever getting what they should own or should be. There is more money in using the law to destroy companies than there is to bring justice to the different parties. This is all about screwing who you can to get the most you can. We must understand that "justice" has nothing to do with it. Daic and his partners in crime will, unless they are stopped, spend the rest of their lives screwing CLYW shareholders as long as they are able. It's nothing personal; it's simply about how much money they can grab.
Thank you.
I hang my head in shame. Looked like a current article.

Haven't seen this posted yet.
Good question. Looks like an air-to-air type. Sidewinder?
Then what the court accepts as evidence and excludes as evidence is key. Has that decision been made?
Have we on this Forum any member trial attorneys?
Can someone post -- or link to -- the current BOD members and a short bio?
Thanks.
Finally worked. Don't know why it failed several times earlier. Thanks.
Doesn't work. When I have done this and hit "preview," no picture appears, just the link as text. Thanks anyway.
How did you attach that nice picture that appears under your posts?
Incorrect. Having been in the market since 1980, I have had a number of "Mondays."
The people burned were the short-termers. I've been in since 2003 and this past week my stock value increased by 460%. I am SO in this for the long haul...
So, if trial has not begun by 3 December, it will be "reset." Reset to what date then?
Checking a stock price every half-hour is like taking your blood pressure every day. All it does is make you worry while providing no long-term benefit.
Keep the faith. This could be Qualcomm; it could also be Boston Detox.
Long since 2003
OK, but does anyone have anything in writing regarding DD's next move? Or is this still 90% speculation?
13 cents? Based upon what?
I may have the MBA, but it was my wife that decided we should invest, starting in 2003. She has a feel for business. My average cost per share is so low that its been all profit since the 22nd. Unknown is how big that profit will get in the next 3-12 months.
Thank you for the clarification.
What court said this, and when?
Meanwhile, at Yahoo...
One fellow is saying that CLYW cannot sign an agreement with anybody because ownership of the company has not yet been determined. Comments?
