Hi all, I missed the presentation this week. Has anyone a link or a pps-file?
TIA and BR

Yup, nice number and don't forget new OEMs, new products and so on....
This time it's for real!

(edit)OT...Toro, can't PM, so sorry all for the board space....
Latitude E6xxx, depends on the size you prefer.
Choose Fingerprint and SED, the USH is built in as standard.
You can't get a better and safer machine!
(edit)Of course you can also choose a Precision if you need a mobile workstation for CAD. Same hardware security configuration...

Hi Doma!
Thanx for the link. Now imagine when SEDs reach the desktops (not only within the gov..)
It's just the beginning and ERAS IS the state of the art technology.

This post was outdated.
The D530 was the cheapest model of the D series. No fingerprint and most came with AMD. You can't even compare it to the cheapest E5xxx....

Toro....not only support WIN7.
The actual version of ETS running on WIN7 is the best and most stable version I've every dealt with.....

Ramsey.....your numbers are reasonable, but the one thing I've learned over the past 7 years, is to protect myself and keep my expectations low....

Agreed....FWIW, I voted for "under 5.5M" revenues.
My guess 5.4 revs (5.25 +0.15 automaker) and about 7.2(5.25+1.9) net billings.

Right, volume is the key, as always.
A few PRs (like the auto deal) and solid growth should bring the big boys to Wave.....
BR

GoKite....agreed! Wave is still invisible for the really big pockets. When they begin to buy, the 2.5M will be covered in hours....

It's not too late to buy in!LOL

OKNPV, I guess they don't trade anymore in Frankfurt. A few months ago you got more results when you searched here....

But they will also pay maintenance forever
BR
ISPRO
Player...right, in my experience the support, when the system is running, is nearly zero. In my company we have the same model with 15% per year maintenance and of course there is support, but the main reason for these fees is the development(improvement) of the software. Customers get updates with better features and so on. Therefore (and to pay the support staff) the maintenance contracts.......
BR
ISPRO
Ramsey...since I don't know it for sure, I suggest we stop here. Perhaps you can ask SKS or Lark and clarify this for us all here.
TIA and BR
ISPRO
Player....right and consider that you don't have to pay MS annual maintenance fees, therefore you have to buy a new server version (with seats) every 5 to 8 years....
If I remember correctly Wave cashes in about 20% maintenance fees per year, so ERAS sells itself again every 5 years.
TWO different models, but both effective.....LOL
BR
ISPRO
Ramsey
"Why would a customer be buying 300k seats for 100k machines? My assumption is they buy an ERAS license once for each new machine. That's it."
If the refreshment cycle is 3 years, with your model, the customer would have to buy 300K Eras licenses in 9 years, although he only has 100k machines in the company...
You are treating a server seat like a CLIENT software. Look at MS Server 2008. If you never change the Server OS, you will have to buy 100K seats and you will have them FOREVER, even when you refresh you client machine on a yearly basis.
BR
ISPRO
Ramsey....perhaps you should contact SKS about it, but IF you have to buy a new ERAS license with every new replacement machine, I guess nobody would buy ERAS. The customer already pays maintenance fees to pay for ERAS improvements. Think about it, within a few years the customer would have to buy 300K seats but has only 100k seats.
BR
ISPRO
Wrong comparison....
Windows is NOT transferable, but you keep your Windows server seats, right?
Same with ETS Client and ERAS...
Windows and ETS come with the OEM and you buy your server seats separately....
BR
ISPRO
Ramsey
No you never loose an already bought ERAS license.
Similar to all other SW products.
BR
ISPRO
Right.../eom
BR
ISPRO
No....
A per seat basis means you buy as many seats as you have SEDs OR TPMs to manage. Of course ERAS manages and is bound to the spezific hardware device (from a technical point of view), but it is my understanding that if a customer has bought 100 seats the ERAS is LIMITED to manage 100 devices (SED, TPM, USB SED), regardless what devices are managed. If you buy a new machine you have to take ownership of the new SED in ERAS and delete the old SED of the old machine.
BR
ISPRO
Ramsey RE: cycle...
"the NEXT 100k refresh cycle engages, meaning Wave sells another 100k ERAS licenses w/ annual maintenance"
Wave license on a per seat basis, so if the customer buys a new machine and throw out the old one, the customer doesn't have to buy an additional seat. But you are right, the 7,5 per SED AND the maintenance is in our pocket.....
BR

(edit)Great post RC, must read! 100% on target.
I've stated in the past that we will see a PE of 100+. Seen this at other companies, when the street realized the potential(even with companies without earnings). For now the most important revenue for Wave is the SED royality of 7.5, since they don't have to add staff to support this OutOfTheBox product. So every SED sales adds to our bottom line WITHOUT costs. Second are the maintenance fees for ERAS, they come in without cost too. Of course ERAS is the MAIN driver especially when you have customers with 1000s of seats.
Right now I see the 20s this year and I will not sell until 50 PPS, while holding a few k for 100.....
BR
ISPRO
Well obviously I'll have to revise my reentry to .05 where I entered 6 months ago....
