I'm not sure exactly we're you're going except you seem to be wanting to develop a legal case against the company...and I'm not going there. But I will say this: In 40 years of doing this, helping hundreds of companies and watching hundreds of others, I have yet to hear a CEO say "don't buy my stock." A CEO always has to be brimming with confidence that they can succeed, that their company is a worthy investment, or what good are they.

The lawyers have told us a stock buyback, as long as the company is not profitable, is illegal.

My memory was after reverse, stock opened at $0.20 and it was pretty quickly at $0.50 intra-day. People wanted to trade and realized they could not through on-line brokerages and discount brokerages and the s*** hit the fan.
I think you give way too much credit to DTC. Goggle DTC and you'll see plenty of companies that are in an absolute tizzy over how they have been treated by the DTC and by the fact that the DTC will not tell them what the problem is. One company recorded 50 separate phone calls with the DTC, according to their news release, and never once was told why a "chill."

With all due respect, my personal opinion has no role here.
I never tell anyone to buy. I tell them to do their due diligence, to talk to financial advisor, etc.
Paul Knopick

We'll agree to disagree. All I can say is I'm the one who took the hundreds and hundreds of calls and e-mails when people could not trade because of the DTC and I saw credibility decrease as this lasted and lasted. And since there was truly no real reason for this to have happened, I'll always believe this company got shafted big time for no reason. My perspective.

I've been buying more for what it's worth. We refuse payment in stock since I don't want to dilute a company and we buy our own shares. Whether now is a good time is between your due diligence, your financial advisor, your significant other, etc.
I don't give that kind of advice. I love the sector and believe stem cells will play a major role in curing diseases we can't solve these days. I think moving this company into the international markets was a very smart thing to do. I blame the stock drop on the DTC, which caused a stampede out the door when shares were not returned in 8 weeks, and I still think it's a young, smart, aggressive management team with a very sound business plan. But as I say: Do your own due diligence.

I have received numerous positive comments and feedback for coming on the IHub board as a recognized person and doing my best to answer the questions. I'm the one who takes hundreds of e-mails and phone calls and actually talks to the "average investor," rather than just guessing about it. To say the average investor has "no hope" is totally wrong. To say they were frustrated by the stock price drop is correct. To say they like the sector and have great hopes based on the sector is also correct.

There are no stupid questions.
Of course the CEO and the management team own shares.
I buy all I can.
That information is always available at www.sec.gov in company filings.
A "chill" is a very strange thing. The DTC is owned by the brokerage industry and it is the only entity with the ability to electronically move shares. If it "chills" a company, it no longer is willing to move shares, which can be a hardship on the company and its investors. I'll gladly go into this in more detail if you e-mail me at:

You have done a "business model" for cord blood stem cell treatment. The clinical researchers around the world are doing actual experiments utilizing stem cells against some of our globe's worst diseases. I'm betting on the researchers.

Well, would you rather have cells that have already differentiated from a diseased person or cells pulled at birth that in theory can turn into any cell in the body, allowing use to combat strokes, heart disease, you name it?
Paul Knopick
pknopick@eandecommunications.com
949.707.5365
Not tracking. Your stem cells are saved at birth and they are there for YOU when you need them. Largest use has been against blood borne cancers (circa 70 diseases so far) but as research expands, so will use of these cells.

Okay, but what will physicians need when one of the many current clinical trials turns up successful: Parkinson's, brain tumors, heart problems, eye diseases and just about any of today's intractable diseases which we can't cure?
Answer: Stem cells. Nothing better than your own from birth.

CEO of Cord Blood America, Matt Schissler, asked me to post the following:
Paul:
There is an imposter on the IHUB board who is pretending to be me. I can assure you 100%, it is not me, an affiliate of mine, or anyone I know. Please disregard anything they say on my behalf. By they way, they could do a better job of being an imposter. They used our address from over 2 years ago. Our address is 1857 Helm Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89119

I find it hard to believe that posters cheer on someone who calls for a public company to fail, for 60 people to lose their jobs. Maybe it's just me.
Paul Knopick

He and his management team have built one of the largest, best stem cell companies in the world, with a world-class facility in Las Vegas and strong international partnerships. Your complaint about the stock price is much more germane if sent to the DTC.
We will work hard every day to restore shareholder value.

And that will make you, what, happy? A company that employs 60, that provides a worthwhile service to society, and you're clapping and cheering and hoping they go done in flames.
Wow.

Neat picture. You are right. You have every right to criticize the company. I see an entity that started with kitchen table discussions and now has the premier stem cell storage facility in America in Las Vegas, that has tapped into a potential huge international market, and that has a sound business strategy in a sector that is absolute dynamite. Every company (every person) makes mistakes every day and criticism is fair game.

1) The market cap is disappointly low. No argument there. Company worth much more, as detailed in Sept. 15th news release.
Numerous micro cap companies have literally no value but a good market cap (hype? hope?) while others are more solid but suffer from lower market cap. No one ever said the markets, or the world, is fair.
2) I've posted numerous times on the tremendous damage I believe the DTC, withholding shares for up to 8 weeks, did to this company.
3) Matt cannot buy now. There are small windows in which he can buy, as dictated by the lawyer(s). Right now, with quarterly numbers being finalized, he absolutely can't buy.
4) But I just did.
5) In our opinion, the "loan sharks," or whatever you want to call them, have been flushed.
6) Again, as we've said in news releases, because of the other DTC chill, money for acquisitions is very expensive. We need to get unchilled and we continue working to do that.
What end game? Read the Sept. 15 news release. Company is strong financially.
