Don no they don't run any company ,as the head bean counter is the CFO .However ,that bean counter has a whole lot to say & do when it comes to finacing a company operations & sales .Look at the loan quality which Ran Furman got the company wraped into .Was this good or even mediocre financing --hardly T.his is the impact from a CFO or head bean counter .It always made me wonder how many time lines & or negotiating points were missed to get edig into that fix .When I ran my own enterprise ,my bean counter provided me with computer reports .I made the final decision ,after consulting with my key personnel .
Frank --that just doesn't make sense .Should that scenario occur it certainly would help edig in their short term need for cash ,with a Samsung or a IBM full commitment ,to market the Odyssey ,in mass volume (millions of unit sales ) .Let us propose that 2 mm units could be sold X the $2 each =$4mm .the burn rate is what $300k .Well what that could do to alieviate the cash crunch .This is but the intial sales orders ,with more to come .Then it also would allow edig to focus on their other more profitable plat forms ,like IFE ,DivX ,Eclipse ,ie .
OZ not being a tech person , I do believe that edig has created financially rewarding platforms & thus agree with that part of your post .The bottom line problem is how do we guide this ship into a safe harbor ,without a Captain or no other person on board who has a pilots license ?

Imo its the Peter principle .BTW ,great sales people don't necessarily make great sales managers & great sales managers don't necessarily make great CEOs .A $67 or so MM loss & never a profit speaks volumes .So ,when woody promoted Fred ,what gave Woody ,the insight to promote Fred to that level ,with a associate degree .Thats incredible .I like Fred personally .It has nothing to do with a like vs dislike .It has all to do with under performing regarless of the economy or competition .In the minors more mistakes are tolerable .However ,this is the major leagues & imo too many errors have been created .

However ,it still remains selling & it involves people .This is why the great sales people of this world earn very substantial incomes .A&dditionally ,companies with far more technical products & services than edig ,employ sales personnel .IBM & Microsoft rapidly come to mind .
Don U imo are way off base .First you have no clue as to my credentials ,second sales is sales ,whether u r selling widgets or nuclear reactors . Reason being it involves people ,the most important asset of any company .
FWIW I owned & operated a highly successfull sales rep firm .At it's height ,I employed 35 sub reps with a3 state exclusive territory & personally negotiated both the product lines & commission /bonus structures with 32 vendors .Our gross sales was in excess of $200mm . I hired bean counters & inside support personel .

Don sales is people .Great sales people sell like there is no tomorrow .They plan, work smart & hard to achieve their goals . Regardless of the economy ,great sales people planed to handle the downturn ,by searching out,taking away from competition & adding customers prior to the down turn . Great sales people always have their fingers on the pulse beat & stay ahead of the curve .Great sales people always earn their commissions. How would you rate EDIG's.. sales people from a one to ten ? One being the worse & 10 being the best .BTW nothing moves that there has been no selling involved (or negotiating ).Also,Don ,in most of the successfull companies I have known ,the CEO is generally one of the their best sales people .

Don now I can understand your line of reasoning . You & I differ .Fred is not the leader ,to take EDIG into a profitable level .He just doesn't have the steel Bs to do it . Its been too long ,for try this & try that & if that doesn't work ,we will try any thing to appease the investors . sorry ,Don --its gone much too far ,for management to garner further investor support ;but WTFDIK --the hype masters will get us out .

Don in kind "what you don't seem to realize " is that marketing has mnany facets ,one of which is the skills to identify & close the important sales .Wouldn't you agree that OEMs are important customers & need closure ?
Additionally ,the Parade story readership was enormous for the odyssey 1000 ,so what happened here to the oem follow up ? Wouldn't a prudent new investor ask ,why wouldn't a major oem jump on this & take on the oem sales ,like a Samsung & not a Digitalway (who BTW still has their MPIO site down as of yesterday ) .This is simply not good business ,never mind good marketing ,imo
Now the company is onto other platforms .How many more no shows ,does management have in their dialogue to us ,the share holders ,who paid & continue to pay their salaries . Also ,is it fair to all the share holders ,to not realize some resemblence of a decent retun ?

Gilgimash with regard to marketing strategies ,there are many that could have been used ,yet were ignored by management .I have been retired ,now 4 years However,I ran my own mfgs rep organization for over 30 years .Additionally , I have a Masters degree from NYU ,in marketing .
At one point ,I thought of offering my services to edig . However ,I am committed to too many priorities .
This company imo will only be successfull with leadership management skills that can not only create a workable business plan ;but create a marketing plan which supports a well thought out business plan .My million dollar question is ,the quality of present management to plan & carry these plans to successfull fruition .

Tinroad --imo there is a problem that having different passwords has created . It segregates edig longs . We can appreciate the desire to keep out the BASHER types ;however ,this thing honoring only certain people with the password has caused confusion & decension .Trust that this can be remedied asap . LL--it seems to me that U beat the same drum all the time .I will only change my mind about the management at edig ,if & when they perform & perform consistently ,for the good of their share holders .That means that they produce profits to make edig ,once in its long tenure a profitable company . For the sake of all investors in this stock ,I wish that to happen . FWIW ,a shot in the pan contract with profits is only that .Management has the responsibilities of seeing that this company turns profits consistently .Additionally ,they have been there a longggggggggg time & this has not been the case . Thus LL no matter what is said ,it is only words ,at this time . It now comes down to "SHow Me The Money " . Hope this helps .

OZ agree . There sits in these chat rooms more talent than presently sits at the control of this ship . Our future in this stock is relegated to those who have very much under performed . Imo the BOD needs to carefully see the present & near future as it is & make changes to get this ship out of stormy waters .

Don we understand delays in any industry .However ,repeated delays ,missing time lines ,ie is the responsibility of management to have more than one plan to achieve the business plan .Simply stated it comes down to results --either it happens or not . Thinking that there can be pps runs based on CES or other external hype .We all make our investmment decisions on a need basis .I personally would like to free up several hundred thousand dollars ;which in well placed investments will realize me over $1mm ROI ,in a much shorter time frame .This is the sense of the matter .Can't wait eternally on hope or promise of the next mouse trap
donatos everyone is entitled to voice their opinion .You have yours & I have mine .I will continue to trade edig based on the hype moving the pps up & down .Originally ,I did quite well during the momentum play as the stock moved up to 24.50 .No regrets
Steve the markets are so jittery that any bad news sends the averages south .Any company caught in a bear slide loses market cap .Edig ,imo is no exception .The only thing that could sustain the potential for growth is profitable business .Rgardless of management cutting the burn rate to the bone ( of course they could donate their salaries LOL ,until they turn the company positive ),they will eventually run short .
The shelf shares become virtually worth less during this pps shrinking time .It comes down to closing the major deals & adding profits .
I will short selected NYSE Nasdq stocks again for imo ,the bottom has a long way to go yet ,especially with war jitters .

Packers --that makes sense ;but unfortunately in the edig world that won't happen . Its only a matter of time before ,those of us who have had enough of the same old same old act .
Steve if there was news ,it should have been released .At the SHM ,RP stated that the 1000 odyssey 1000 would be available around Thanksgiving .None of us have seen it .more rederick from Corp .Same old Same old .thus ,the hype masters can only help those who are in tune with how to trade & benefit themselves financially
without the odyssey 1000 release their name is in the mud .GToing on to the IFE product without cementing the best MP3 player is simply nuts .
Blackdog the more experienced investors with market savvy have & will trade this stock .In my opinion it is the only logical move to make with the uncertainties not only with e.digital ;but in a turbulent market environment .This is the very reason that investing in otcbb stocks is such high risk . Where investing into a NYSE & or a Nasdq listed stock backed with options ,the wise investor can & does protect his/her interests & thus preserves capital .
Yes it takes time & effort to master the knowledge ;but once one has the use of such knowledge, it makes all the difference in their portfolio values .
EDIG is & will remain a very high risk investment until they post positive earnings in their 10Q & 10 K reports .The hype will make this stock a trading stock ,pure & simple ,until those events happen .
It is simply amazing how the EDIG private room in digi chat is segregated out .
