Thank You PL. YES, first let's get some GREAT data news so the share price skyrockets, THEN either raise cash through dilution or better yet through "a" or "some" partnerships that contribute cash to start a few more trials for both combinations and other new cancer trials. That seems like a good plan, let's see if the universe agrees.
I remember a year or two ago, someone here talked about why we're not doing with checkpoint inhibitors but I forget where that conversation went.
THANKS. Tell us something we didn't know.

CAR-T blah blah blah - no mention that several patients have died and Cytokine Release Syndrome.
Should we be combining Multi-TAA with checkpoint inhibitors??
Multi-TAA with hypomethylating agents with checkpoint inhibitors??
Why is it does anybody think we have not combined with checkpoint inhibitors??
Are we or have we done anything with PD-1, PD-L1, CTLA-4, LAG-3 checkpoint inhibitors??
back over $100 soon?
over $20 soon?
Thank You, No problem. Warren Buffett never bought Qualcomm, Nvidia, Vertex, Seagen or Alnylam when they were small companies.
I think it takes more skill to identify the small hidden gem than it does to buy the large and established and just hold them.
Qcom is a perfect example, the whole world was using TDMA (time division multiple access) and GSM (global standard for mobile communication) ... and Qualcomm had a little known military technology called CDMA (code division multiple access). Once I investigated and understood the difference, it was a no brainer that CDMA and Qualcomm would take over the world.
It's a bit easier to say "I think I'll buy Geico and just hold it". I also read Benjamin Graham and Peter Lynch when I was young.
I get the whole P/E and P/E/G ratio thing. It's just more fun hitting home runs than singles.
When you keep hitting home runs long enough, you get to be down as much as I am in MRKR and not have it effect your life and as I said, if MRKR lives up to it's potential with AML or Lymphoma or Pancreatic, it's got an up 10,000%+ in front of it.
Reply to your PM. It didn't bother me, I'm guessing it was well meant and I just told the truth. Like I said on the MRKR board last week "I'm down a couple of Z06 corvettes" in MRKR alone, but in the big picture, I can't complain, I've done very well overall.
Thank You again.
God Bless You Sir, I'm only 66, I hope you have many more decades to invest and enjoy.
Thank You again, I've also been investing since the 1980's. Very early buyer of QCOM and other IT chip stocks which helped me retire at 54. Many of my (once) small cap biotechs, ALNY, VRTX, ARWR, SGEN, EXEL now have market caps in the many Billions (I did very well). Several others like Pharmacyclics (bought by Abbvie) and Cubist (bought by Merck) also did good by me. I also own large defense stocks RTX, NOC, LMT, KTOS.
Most of my profits over the decades went into real estate condo's that I rent out. At this point in my (older) life, my stock money is just for play and I like the smaller biotechs because when you do hit that home run, it feels real good.
Thank You again and good luck with your investments.
Thank You, I tend to stay with small cap Nasdaq listed biotechs.
Thank You, That was all very insightful and helpful.
I think the best line in the SIFMA letter was:
This conclusion is consistent with the SEC’s own reported enforcement actions, i.e., any reported instances of
“short-side” manipulation (e.g., “short and distort” campaigns) are dwarfed by the instances of
“long-side” manipulation (e.g., “pump and dumps”).
I see the pump and dumps weekly as some tiny stock goes up 500+% overnight and in the early morning (FOMO) and then sells off and is back down 80% to 90% the next day.
I can see why SIFMA as a representative organization may be against some of the new reporting rules, and I would be ok with the institutions NOT having to disseminate their short positions to the public as long as they MUST report them to the SEC in a timely matter.
I don't have a problem with shorting. If you are allowed to bet that a stock will go up, you should also be allowed to bet that a stock will go down. Of course you can also do that and both with options.
On the naked short selling, I don't see why they can't just do something simple, forget about the "I will get it in the future to cover" or "I am required to get it in the future" and just go with "If you don't own it, you can't short it".
Or at least go with, "you MUST PROVE that you bought it in 3 or 5 days or your short order get canceled and closed.
Thank You again
Thank You, I invest in a lot of small biotechs and always hear complaints about short sellers. I can see and understand why that would not work with a giant, well established large cap companies.
Thank you, I just posted both links and info and asked for opinions to that board.
Hello, Can I please get opinions on the following two links about short selling and naked short selling.
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/end-naked-short-selling-230100677.html
"The ability to sell an unlimited number of non-existent shares in a publicly-traded company gives a short seller the ultimate power: To destroy and manipulate a company’s share price at will."
"Following the 2008/2009 financial crisis, naked short selling was classified as illegal in the United States, though that labeling has done nothing to thwart this lucrative game."
and also:

The SEC's New Rules on Short Selling Oct. 13, 2023
"The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved the adoption of a new regulation called Rule 13f-2. This rule is designed to enhance transparency for investors and other market participants by making short sale-related data more accessible to the public.
This rule mandates that large investment firms must report information regarding their short positions and trading activities for stocks. Historically, these firms reported only their long positions."
I ask because some seem to believe that it is a BIG problem and others think it is not a problem at all.
I just assume that the SEC would not adopt a new rule if there was not a problem to begin with.
Also why would a NYC Judge rule that institutions were liable for losses due to naked short selling if there was not a problem to start with?
Thank You in advance.

Who's shorting MRKR? We'll find out.

KTOS 164 years ago John Stuart Mill summed it up:
"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things:
the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth a war, is much worse.
A man who has nothing which he is willing to fight for, nothing which he cares more about than he does about his personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
As long as justice and injustice have not terminated their ever-renewing fight for ascendancy in the affairs of mankind, human beings must be willing, when need is, to do battle for the one against the other."
Sadly, we have a need for RTX and KTOS in this current world of ours.

Just something to consider. If you buy bitcoin BTC.X at $30,000 and it does GREAT and goes up to $120,000 which is double it's previous high, you are up 400%. If you buy MRKR at $3.00 and it fulfills it potential, it's market cap goes from 25 million to 2.5 billion and you are up 10,000%. (if my math is correct)
drip, drip, drip, WOWIE ZOWIE. I hope somebody doesn't know about any bad news that we retail are not aware of.
tick, tick, tick, halloween, thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, 2024.
My costume for this halloween will be a poor boxcar hobo who invested in MRKR.
Good one, that is funny. Thanks. Anything that brings a smile to the MRKR board is welcome.
BOOM coming soon, earnings and future outlook next week.
BOOM
I think last time it was discussed (June), 10 million over cash value was about $3.40 and then minus what they've burned since, but my number is based on weirdness, I bought at $1.11 last time it sunk, I recently bought at $3.33, so next target is $2.22. I know, sound like crazy reasoning to buy. That may just explain why I'm down a couple of Z06 corvettes, but that's OK, I'm too old to drive that fast anymore anyway. P.S. back in the day, I raced both cars and motorcycles (wish I was young again) (boo-hoo).
I only emailed him that one time and he answered very quickly. They say (whoever "they" are) that no news is good news, but in this case, no news is driving me crazy. I just hope he has some good news by the end of this year like everybody is expecting.
I know that he can't give us any info until he has it all to give, but this waiting game is getting old (again). If the share price gets below $2.25 I'll buy some more (like an idiot), but unless that, I'm done buying more and just holding (like how many times have I said that before over these many years).
Didn't think I'd see sub $3. Like PL says, we need DATA DATA DATA DATA.
Yep, the science sounds great and until proven otherwise, I will continue to believe in it. It has many advantages ... quicker, cheaper, no adverse side effects, etc..
Now we just need a good deal more proof from the trials so everybody else can also believe and buy into it.
but the thing is this, nobody is selling any shares at a lower and lower price into thin air. for every share sold at a lower and lower price .... some idiot or genius .... is buying them all. I guess only time will tell if we are idiots or not.
the way the share price keeps heading it don't look like many people are seeing too much promise in MRKR right now.
any others with actually unfounded hope based on almost nothing really meaningful right now buying any more shares as the price keeps dive bombing? am I just throwing more money away as I buy more?
and as crazy as it sounds, I have yet another open buy order if it goes down lower to my next buy price level. Just a glutton for punishment I guess. It is just based on nothing more than "hope". Hope has no real positive tendencies or outlook inherent in it. It is just nothing more than hope, based solely on nothing meaningful or substantial that I can currently point to. I just can't bring myself to jump up and down and shout for joy over one CR in a very early stage trial. We will see what any future announcements bring, more CR's, positive MRD data, our long awaited "strategic review", insider buying, etc.
Ho Hum!
bought a bit more MRKR today. every day the share price shows all that promise and just gets more promising.
the current state of MRKR, the current state of America, the current state of the World, all very depressing.
my last buy on 9-14 @ $4.79 looking OK.
Bought more today @ $2.16
Iovance Biotherapeutics Director Wayne P. Rothbaum bought 5,000,000 shares of the company's stock in a transaction on Friday, September 15th. The shares were bought at an average cost of $5.30 per share, for a total transaction of $26,500,000.00.
Bought more IOVA today.
Survey: Do you think that MRKR should spend some money and advertise with some full page ads in the most prestigious medical journals like JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association), The New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of Clinical Oncology in order to raise awareness of their Multi-TAA therapy, so that they can treat more patients and have quicker enrollment progress which hopefully would lead to a larger amount of postive result data?
Howdy DD, with all the $ that I am down in MRKR, I think the worst part is the patients that we might be saving if they knew about or were given the opportunity to be treated with Multi-TAA. If MRKR tech turns out to be a winner, then all those patients who could have been helped and were not due to lack of knowing about MRKR tech will be the real shame and not any amount of $ I'm down. The $ will follow the data, but I'm afraid that it will be too late for many people by then.
"after failing 4 prior lines of therapy, including anti-CD19 CAR T cell therapy, the participant demonstrated complete metabolic response based on PET-CT scans." Now we need to get the word out to other Doctors so that we can start treating and hopefully helping more patients. If it keeps showing that it works well, MT-601 needs to be the First Line of therapy and not 4th or 5th.
up 7% on 23,000 share volume, almost meaningless, but I'll take it.
Meant to say: Started a position today (8-24-23) at 25 cents. A bit risky, as a reverse SPLIT may be coming soon, also they just have cash to go through Q1 2024, but they are supposed to announce trial data Q3 2023, so pretty much, make or break.
