Short position jumps 17 million on US side, probably to do with recent financing.
Most of the cause for the increase in Playstocks Gold Stocks short barometer up to 341 million

True and a good point, but any lawyer I know does get a lawsuit prepared in a day or less. They need to have a complaint to go on, and thats what their short buddies provide
I just ignore these things, you see them all the time with any stock that has a short position and sees a significant drop in value, it is just a joke.
I am more concerned about the short position than the lawsuit. A good Doctor will treat the cause, not the symptons!!!
And one more thing, I bet there is plenty out there that don't want to see McAfee and his disruptive technology succeed
This is one of the oldest short plays in the book. Yes there appears a real reason because the SEC did not approve the acquisition D-Vasive but acquisitions are never certain and always need exchange approval.
The shorts get their lawyer friends to start class actions to scare investors into selling.
Did you notice how all the lawsuits came immediately after the news, it was all prepared for ahead of time
Elcora produces the highest quality graphene, derived from graphite in the world, verified by independent 3rd party
http://www.playstocks.net/index.php/play-home-articles/graphite-graphene
Elcora's graphene was independently tested at the Centre for Advanced 2-D Materials (previously known as Graphene Research Centre) at the National University of Singapore and Elcora graphene is currently ranked No. 1 in the world by CA2DM in terms of quality due to the low
number of layer, structural quality, crystallite size, carbon content and morphology.
These results were presented by Prof. Antonio H. Castro Neto, director of CA2DM, at the Graphene Canada 2015 international conference in Montreal.
On January 11th, Elcora released the results of its graphene quality tests performed by the Centre for
Advanced Materials (CA2DM, previously known as Graphene Research Centre), at the National
University of Singapore. More than 20 well-known commercial graphene producers from North
America and Europe were tested, as well as many less-known Asian suppliers. The test results
indicate that the Elcora graphene is the top quality tested not only based on the overall evaluation but
also all of the individual criteria: Elcora's sample has the highest content of graphene flakes
with the best structural quality as measured by stringent scientific criteria.
• Among all the global graphene producers tested, Elcora graphene was found to have 55% of
graphene content (the highest measured)
• Flakes averaged three layers (90% of the sample with less than 30 layers)
• Flake sizes are consistent with an average of one micrometre (90% with less than 3
micrometers),
• High structural quality and more than 93 per cent in carbon content.

I follow the short positions to give an idea on the bullish or bearish sentiment on a stock. Another good indicator is the daily short positions initiated that FINRA reports - also very active on MGT. A sure sign along with the lawsuits this is a big short play

Gold going higher, the value of negative-yielding bonds swelled to $13.4 trillion last week, as negative interest rates and central bank bond buying ripple through the debt market.
The universe of sub-zero-yielding debt -- primarily government bonds in Europe and Japan but also a mounting number of highly-rated corporate bonds -- has grown from $13.1 trillion last week, according to figures compiled by Tradeweb for the Financial Times.
"Its surreal," said Gregory Peters, senior investment officer at Prudential Fixed Income. "It's clear that central banks are dominating markets. There's a race to the bottom. Central banks are the main drivers of this. It's not fundamental." ...

Craig Ferrantino converts from Gold Bear to Bull, his main reason is the low interest rates. All they do is talk about raising rates but in fact they are going down. He does not think the US job numbers or very good either.
His target for year end is $1800

Tesla has been a short favorite for a long time. There is something like 35,000 traffic fatalities iin the USA every year and they are all tragic. And then there is about 2.4 million per year that cause injury.
Yet Tesla has a couple of incidents and it is doom and gloom for the company. How many did Ford or GM have in just one day, like today?? maybe a couple thousand each???
Lets talk bout these, but than again there is so many, where should we start??
Or what about something constructive like Telsa's in the 80eday race
