And me!!
gilead23 -
with respect to question 1 I would think the Q has some hints based on the short excerpt here:
---
Due to the continuing demand for Arcoplate, we have decided to postpone the development of the 3-D Pipefitting Cladder process,
---
Continued demand, I think, is the key here. Inventory build up without pending orders does NOT go together with this statement...
IMHO

Credit Card rules -
Bruce, you can register a shipping address different than your billing address with your credit card provider BEFORE you order something and have it shipped to a different address. Done it dozen times before but need to do it before ordering and it only takes a call to the CC company.

This is just a word-for-word repeat of the same PR published Feb. 19th. Not sure if this is just a hoax from this site or JF being behind this but I don't think it's a "new" official PR (not that it matters)

I am surprised Bruce didn't mention the image program he is using as fastest and safest restore operation. I personally use Acronis True Image 11 and are extremely happy with it. I store the image on the internal HDD and then copy it to an external HDD for safe keeping. Internal I only do for speed purposes as it's faster than to external drive directly. In case of computer crash, virus infection, etc. you just restore the last healthy image and you're right back to where you were.
I also use it for installation of programs, make an image before install, if I then don't like the program I just revert back to previous image and the program is completely gone, no traces. True Image actually has a particular function for this as well which I have not used yet.

if you open all sites in tabs that you want to group together and then click on Bookmarks there is an item "Bookmark All Tabs...". When you use that it'll ask you for a Folder name and group all of them in the specified folder. If you then select that folder the bottom has the open all bookmarks in tabs.

if you have a total software related system failure, how do you access the online backup to restore your system. I know you can boot from the various emergency/boot cds that come with ghosting/imaging programs and you can enable network access on most of them but how do you get to the specific backup location without having a browser available?
Thanks

try to remove the display drivers and specify standard VGA as device and then restart WinXP. Then run the Uninstall from ATI again and then install the updated drivers again (including MMC) and restart. This should work.
Normally when I update my ATI drivers I run the Uninstall and then reboot first which takes the drivers out of play and the new install does not have problems replacing them later as they are now not being used anymore...

What a relief...
(must be Friday afternoon...)
Hey, I had to type standing 'cause my lower back is out-of-whack
As of 2:14pm it is showing 9,058 shares traded with a 1.40/1.43 spread
My Etrade is showing 1.40/1.44

the link Chrisau posted from Newegg you should be able to use all and any of the 2.5" enclosures as all laptops use 2.5" HDDs

in what form will the update to shareholders be (I am new to this stock and bought on the big drop)? Checking their web site I only get linked to a IR site to sign up for news every time I click on the Investors Relations menu.
Thanks
Not if the MM took the spread, which is how they make their money (they buy at .33 and then sell at .42)
Bruce - you meant to say 5% faster, right?
Here is a link to one of the three products listed:
http://www.skymall.com/shopping/detail.htm?pid=102514993&c=
It allows direct storage to either iPod or USB flash drive/hard drive from any device with RCA connections without requiring a PC. The other two products both need a PC and one of them is nothing but an external sound card and you'd be better served with Chrisau's provided link if you already have a PC with integrated sound or sound card.

just saw one for the first time while looking through the skymall catalog on my United flight yesterday. Has a USB connection.
Thanks, Toby did recommend to get rid of Puda immediately due to the pending recession and this was one of three stocks listed as fundamentally weakest in their portfolio. This was in his 1/14 update.
Anybody know what's going on?
Anybody have a guess as to where the bottom will be?
Tom -
this is what I was referring to (taken from the 8-K filing from 12/5, filed 12/3, which was documenting the Current Report shown to investors)
How realistic is it, you think, that they will be able to adhere to this schedule and what impact will it have on the share price presuming that the slides represent close to what the financials will show?
Your opinion is very much appreciated...
This is slide 24 attached to the filing:
Financial Results
Vitesse is not currently filing financial statements with the
Securities and Exchange Commission and is in the process of
restating and auditing its financial statements for 2006 and 2007.
As such, the financial results in this presentation are unaudited
and are therefore subject to change.
Vitesse plans to file audited financial statements for fiscal 2006
and 2007 in first calendar quarter of 2008.
24
Hi Tom, what do you think about the announcement in the last presentation that the financials should be filed by the end of this quarter. Shouldn't this move the price a bit, eventually (provided it happens, of course, and that the financials are OK?
Could not find the exact reference anymore (think it was in the presentation attached to the 12/5 filing, which was like a quarterly performance review).
And what will it take for the company to get relisted on something more respectable?
Cheers

I was just referring to the grammar used. I have no means to judge whether it's the truth or not. But at least it's stated clearly as present tense, so maybe there was no dilution since (or there was and the number is a blatant lie....)
Cheers
Sky -
it says
<<The Company has about 18,000,000 shares outstanding>> means present tense therefore as of NOW with the PR dated 9/14
Cheers
No, but they're late with the 10QSB and have not filed for an extension...
But then again, who knows whether they plan a R/S ?!?
it's ADOTE for now...
Well, the Q is due soon. Let's see what the numbers say. But if the restructuring has just begun there should not be much positive yet. Guess, we're up to yet another quarter of wait and see...
Hey Bruce,
nice to hear from you here again. I usually only see posts form you over at your PC board which I enjoy a lot.

still here and holding as well. It's been tough at times but now holding is the only thing left. Service has been good and not reasons to complain. Just wish subs and revenue would increase a bit faster to get us closer to break-even.

Mine's a 486DX2-66MHz and still running strong with Win95 and I spent money on a harddrive cache card with 16MB memory. Boy that thing was blazing fast back then. Also still runs with all original equipment except an added hdd. Was a Micron PC (remember the days when they were in the actual PC business?) and has a Turbo button as well (which, of course, is always ON) and all works well as ever...

this logic does not work: after the RS it would still be the same people holding the 20mio shares float as hold the 500mio pre-RS unless new shares in significant amounts would be released into the float in which case you'd have immediate dilution and hence impact on the share price as well.
Cheers
great minds think alike
twisted -
according to Yahoo Finance there are no large block shareholders. All insiders have an accumulated 3% of shares and institution holdings are non-existent and every shareholder of 5% or more would have to report his/her holdings and there are none filed. Unless there were big buys the last few days the shares are very scattered.
This is going to be interesting.
Cheers
ctb -
as he would be a 33% stake holder you'd (retail investor) have to organize all other share holders to unite to assert control. And that is a tough task. So, unless there is another share holder with similar percentage of ownership this is equivalent to having control.
Cheers
Guess that mostly lines up with the $2.67 dividend a share that they cited. So it is the dilution due to invest stake and they referenced the pre-split price to keep things simple.
