Veltex Corporation Names New Chief Operating Officer for Veltex-Apparel

CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif., Dec. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Veltex Corporation (Pink Sheets: VLXC - News) today announced that Michael Pearl has been named COO of Veltex Apparel.

Mr. Pearl is a graduate of The University of Oregon with 34 years experience in the Textile Industry. His most recent position was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for World Wide Merchandising Inc., a major manufacturer of embellished apparel where he was instrumental in building a superior sales staff as well as developing new product lines. Mr. Pearl's resume includes positions of progressive responsibility with Tee Jays Manufacturing, A & R Inc. and STS Graphics. Mr. Pearl will handle the day-to-day business of Veltex Apparel leaving Mr. Matin free to concentrate on the re-organization of the corporation as well as seeking additional growth opportunities. Mr. Pearl will work closely with our manufacturing arms in merchandising and new product design.
