All PureSpectrum lighting ballast technologies are engineered with high Power Factor to ensure that any product powered by our technology will not contribute to the strain being placed on energy grids worldwide.
When applied to entire building through a planned lighting design or sensing lighting system, controlling light levels results in huge reductions in both energy usage and energy costs.
just think how much energy a building can save just using these new ballasts for stairwell lighting retrofits.
PureSpectrum's step-dimming products offer multiple routes to reach energy conservation. The one-switch ballast can be installed rapidly and is very easy to use. The two-switch ballast can be installed with minimal invasive measures and will work with virtually any lighting control device. Rather through manual dimming, time delayed dimming or sensing system, implementing the PureSpectrum dimmable ballast will result in incremental energy savings during dimming and can provide as much as 77% power usage reduction. When applied to entire building through a planned lighting design or sensing lighting system, controlling light levels results in huge reductions in both energy usage and energy costs.

PureSpectrum Continues to Expand Its CFL Fluorescent Product Line
Feb 24, 2011 09:00:50 (ET)
SAVANNAH, GA, Feb 24, 2011 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- PureSpectrum, Inc. (PSRU, Trade ) under its recently appointed CEO, Gregory Clements, has implemented a new marketing strategy, expanded its product line and dramatically reduced its operating expenses. With the successful launch of its 20W dimmable CFLs through an aggressive direct marketing internet campaign, PureSpectrum has significantly increased revenues over the comparable period last year. PureSpectrum is continuing to expand its Compact Fluorescent Lamp (CFL) product line. With an expanded product line, management believes that sales revenue will continue to increase.
The Company is adding a 15-watt R30 CFL reflector bulb, 23W R40 CFL reflector bulb, 15W PAR 30 CFL reflector bulb as well as 15W A covered CFL bulb. All of these bulbs are high Power Factor dimmable CFLs and have been certified by both Underwriters Laboratory (UL) and the U.S. Department of Energy's Energy Star program.
The dimmable R30, R40 and PAR30 reflector CFLs are frequently used in residential indoor settings for down lighting, recessed lighting, track lighting or canned lighting and are product s that have been specifically requested by distributors and the residential customer base. PureSpectrum's dimmable A-lamps are globed lamps which provide superior energy efficiency and mimic the aesthetics of incandescent bulbs. These product offerings have received UL and Energy Star certification and the Company expects to further expand its product line of UL and Energy Star certified products as 2011 unfolds.
"I am extremely excited about the future of PureSpectrum and ultimately for our shareholders," said CEO Gregory Clements. "We have seen increasing sales and customer loyalty to our dimmable 20W CFL and we now plan to add dimmable reflector and PAR CFL bulbs to our product mix that will address both the residential and commercial markets and continue to ramp up our sales revenue during the remainder of 2011. We believe our products address specific needs in the lighting marketplace and thus provide the Company with an opportunity to realize greater sales from multiple sectors within the residential and commercial lighting markets."

dont have me thrown in jail but senator (that be me) would have to be an idiot to be buying any vuoc shares. no product = rip- off
great pr on company updates. also another cc coming up.
sounds like your ideas on the grid are way ahead of mine - less lose of electricity too. as far as low voltage have a few in my house and still have to use a dimmer. always wondered about that.
energy conservation = no need to build more power plants. put that money into making the grid more efficient and making existing coal burning plants cleaner.
