Dead cat bounce in store for LEA...
lol
ACLS trying to move here on light volume. A stiff breeze and this one sails into the .50s.
Same with ACLS. They have $256 million in equity. They've got tons of cash on hand. There's no reason for this to be going south right now.
Not a pretty day for ACLS. Not sure what to make of it. Pre-market it was on fire. Volume was surging more most of the day. Good PR just released yesterday. My hope is that this is just market-related and it'll bounce to normal levels tomorrow...
Yeesh, so is everything. Rough, rough day out there.
ACLS released a very positive PR. Anyone know why it's been falling this morning? Just a reaction to the market in general?
Probably. I jumped in on Friday at .83 (I was already in once before at .89 and sold at 1.05). It seemed like a great price at the time, but the more I thought about it, the more I didn't like the way volume has been falling so precipitously. I got out this morning at .82 for a tiny loss. I'm thinking this one may be destined for the lower .70s. Again though, any news positive news will push this thing through the roof again.
hopefully ACLS is just gap-filling
I noticed ONT garnered special attention from some of the more vocal posters at the lion. Hopefully it's a just a coincidence.
Jumping back into GNVC AH. That 50/200 xover is too much to resist.

Hi Ken, I can't PM unfortunately, but you're definitely in my thoughts. I agree, good times ahead. There's no doubt in my mind. You do amazing work here and I know that all (including myself) are greatly appreciative!
Ooh, real time. Nice. Ken, how come you haven't jumped on the real-time bandwagon?
I'm neither wise nor experienced, but...
When someone says "buy the dips" they mean buy the stock when it pulls back. Remember, nothing goes straight up forever. And the straighter up something goes, the harder it'll eventually fall. (Not a hard and fast rule, but something to keep in mind). When it does come back down, that's when you buy. Chasing something on the way up is how we become bag holders.
"Buy the dips" also refers to intraday action. A downtrend, however, is a prolonged period of downward action. Something trending down can last weeks, months or years. The DJIA saw serious downward movement from Oct. 08 to March 09. Simply: more sellers than buyers caused by a lack of confidence in the state of our economy. Also, just because a stock has fallen in price for several days does not mean that it's in a down trend.
If you really want to see the difference, start learning how to read charts. It'll change the way you trade...
Good luck.
Judging by his posting history, I'd say he's a spammer. Be careful.
Why would they sell at open and not AH now?
STSI chart-- there's gonna be one nasty red candle here in the morning...
The other thing have you going for you, is that by open tomorrow, STSI is going to be so ridiculously oversold that the stochastic indicator may shatter the bottom of the chart lol. Could make for some nice dead cat bounce action.
At this point I think it's safe to say that news has pretty well been priced into the PPS. A lot of tomorrow's action may depend on the forthcoming PR from STSI... It's just such a gamble how the market will react in the AM. There's probably as much a chance of $1 as there is of .5. Good luck though-- it'll be interesting ;)
LOL sorry, I guess I was not in the loop there ;)
Maybe, maybe not! If you'd bought at the AH low you'd already be up almost 20% lol. It'll be interesting to see where this one opens.
I missed that fantastic run-up on PPHM from .60 to .90 in one day, but I'm wondering what everyone's price target is medium/long term. I'm gonna dive into some DD shortly. Thanks all ;)
Out for a $150.00 loss. Oh well! Live to trade another day, I suppose. I've taken a few losses recently so I was hoping for a single or double with this one. Thought I was back on the saddle with GNVC-- made some nice compound there. When I'm trading with such a small principal ( < $10k) I can't afford to take one step forward and two back.
I do appreciate all your help though, Ken. You're the man ;)
I entered at .70 so I'm not down by much. Wondering whether it's worth sticking around at this point...
Wow, what just happened? The bottom just totally fell out...
Bit of strange trading today on ACPW. Been watching L2-- Amazing volume but it can't seem to bust that .74 wall.
ACPW having another good morning. Chart looks great right now.
Check out ACPW. Up 14% today. Chart looks really, really good. Very good chance it'll run to dollarland the near future.
I prefer to buy after the dust has settled (e.g. when there's evidence that said equity is done falling). Sounds like you have a different strategy though. Good luck with that.
Wow, look at ACPW go now!
If you want to try and catch a falling knife, perhaps...
Had to fire FTK today for a slight loss. Need those funds to start working for me somewheres else. Best of luck to everyone in it.
Unfortunately, that's where I jumped in, lol, right around .70... Story of my life.
Ken, have a look at ACPW here:

I think it looks pretty good...
In ACPW here.
DSCO up 27%. Such an easy play. Ugh, wish I'd gotten in.
Dow off 200 today. Ouch. Me thinks its a good day to sit on my cash and watch...
What a week for NEPH. Great call, Chart and $heff. Wish I would have had some spare cash to jump in that one. Wonder if it's full steam ahead next week, or it needs a cooling period off after more than a week of up, up, up.
In this economy, that's pretty special. Congrats.
