The Yankees need BP help.

What is Cashman, Boone and Blake waiting for? Blake's Ipad to reboot?
It won't make a difference since Boone can't stick with a lineup from one week to the next. He gave up on Volpe way too soon then started inserting even worse players to bat lead off.
Spencer Jones can't be any worse than Grisham who wanders around in CF.
It takes talent by a RFer to overrun that fly ball. The good news is Johnson didn't get charged for the earned run thanks to MLB's Little League rules.
It's what Cashman does. He trades away the future for players who are over the hill.

Argentina thought it had leveled its Olympic soccer opener against Morocco in the dying seconds on Wednesday – before its goal was dramatically ruled out and a pitch invasion caused the final three minutes to be played in an empty stadium after a nearly two-hour delay.
It was hardly an auspicious opener for the Paris Summer Games, with Argentina coach Javier Mascherano calling the disorderly scenes “the biggest circus I’ve ever seen in my life.”

One of my favorite events and I can't imagine what she was thinking having owned an Arabian and trained him for several shows over his lifetime of over 20 plus years.

Well that's a nice round number for an IPO.
Damn when you said good news I was hoping they fired Boone.
If the Rockies can put up 20 against the Red Sox anything is possible. Though I highly doubt it. lol.
Jr should have taken the ferry.
Hey Rain Man not sure Jimmy Buffett and Warren ever saw eye to eye on what is important in life.
Though I do like the analogy of comparing Warren to a pig..
I have little doubt that the US government was involved in the study of psychedelics back in the 60s and 70s. I thought about majoring in chemistry until I discovered and I didn't get along with Calculus and switched my major to Philosophy in college. Back then I read everything about psychedelics, Tim Leary, Ken Kesey and Carlos Casdeneda to name a few.
Kesey most impressed me with his One Flew over the Cuckoos Nest and as it turned out in college I took I field trip to Creedmoor Hospital and the memory of that day burned in my brain to this day.

But that is a story for a different day and place.
One of the directors of the bank I worked for presented some Whoops coupons for deposit. I had to tell him the coupons were no good since they had gone BK.
We had one of the oldest Fed charters in the country and we were merging with a state chartered bank and the day the transaction closed we redeemed over $50M in bearer bonds. After we closed for the day their auditor was counting vault cash When he saw the bonds that were ready to be mailed I picked them up and explained they were not part of vault cash but pending our deposit to our Fed account. Took me 30 minutes to explain to the dumb ass how it worked since they didn't maintain an account at the Fed. I walked out the door that night with the bonds heading to the post office.
Back then Treasuries had a yield over 16%.

Have they fired Boone yet? And with 5 days left has Cashman made a trade yet?
Yankees got beat by 9 runs. Red Sox got beat by 13 runs. Yankees should be able to sweep the Red Sox this weekend and win by 4 runs each game. lol.
The good news is the Yankees have today off. And the Red Sox and the Orioles both lost last night.
I don't miss those days of bearer bonds and coupons. The bonds we used to mail to the local Fed.
I don't have a problem with the golf pools that Eli runs because it keeps people engaged in golf. What irritated me is bringing someone's politics into the discussion.
If this board is going to allow that then I'm out of here.
The Wolf of Wall Street though overdone imo was not so far off the mark as to what was going on with traders on Wall Street. Coke during the day and 'ludes at night.
That too but it's a story for a different place.
You can move on. You're the one who suggested Grisham should be our starting CFer.

Are those Billy Buckner's baseball cleats?
That contract is killing them while FDX keeps moving up.
Not everyone has lived in Italy for 20 years nor does their world revolve around Italy. Your discussion belongs on the Recipe board where people break spaghetti before they throw it in the pot.
The availability of drugs I suspect was highly dependent on your geographic location. As well as what the drugs of preference were. Funny but living in NYC and going to NYU I experienced no shortage throughout the 70s and 80s.
After college I can clearly remember the smell of pot while walking around Wall Street at lunch hour.
The site a tad sticky and slow this morning...
It's the humidity.
How can they be upgrades with lower BAs? Good at bats that lead to outs are still outs.
This is his first time. But the Yankees have a cast of characters who have batted clean up and leadoff.
https://www.rotowire.com/baseball/batting-orders.php?team=NYY
You can filter by batting order. Interesting that Volpe has lead off the most until Boone gave up on him.
What's really weird is how Kasey ended up being buried in Oslo Norway.
Because he hits for a lower average than Volpe who went 2 for 4 last night.
Boone is now using reverse psychology on opposing teams.
Save on pitch count and just hold up 4 fingers every time Judge comes up. The lineup was bad enough but using Grisham and Rice as PHers was beyond belief.
If George was still alive Boone would have been fired by now. Yanks have now lost 3 straight to the Mets and only Cole can prevent a sweep.

Good God this is a golf board and not a place to post your crap disparaging people who post on other boards but that is what you do. WTF does my moderation of a board have anything to do with EZ winning here. Nothing.
I doubt the vet will let you have a cow. With my ailments I can eat anything and I feel sorry for what you must be going through.
Not sure I could do that.
I remember him well. He was on the radio and Dick Clark was on TV.
One of the few things I buy off label is sugar. I mean sugar is sugar.
I do check out the prices on everything I buy and yes there is a price difference. For spaghetti sauce and salad dressings we buy Paul Newmans and even though we're over paying their profits go to charity.
