All I want for christmas is for CGFIA to drop a zero, and a refill on my meds!
Oh, and a new tree, not a Christmas tree, a new one for my front yard. We had 50 MPH winds last night and I lost a tree. Right now it is laying across the yard, and half is the back of my pickup. (no damage to the truck, thank god.)
The landscapers are on the way, so that's another bill to add to the pile!
Come on Mr. Guyer, I need the bucks! Play Santa Clause for me!
Another area of growth is "mobile gaming" starting at some of the casinos. It gives the player the ability to play from anywhere on property with the use of a game pad sized unit. You can chose your game and denomination, and play in your room, bar, restaurant or poolside; all done through wireless links.
The providers of this technology should see a marked growth as the domestic gaming economy improves.
Keep it up! Use the voodoo dolls if you have to! I'll take any increase we can get, any way you can get it
0004! 0004! 0005! 0005!
Oh, yes, I forgot! You live in a restricted area. Nevada will rent you the "tools" to do the job!
It is even listed as a tourist attraction.
Gotta get back on topic. I'll get cut for this thread for sure!
Keep it in mind if you ever need to open up a wall to add a window or door. Combining work and fun is most rewarding!
The neighbors may complain, but once they see you standing in the opening with the "tool" of choice, I doubt they will say anything more.
Call it "renovation". I get away with a lot with that one!
What no 12 gauge, RKY? That is a lot more rewarding! More expensive, but the results are worth it!
I think it will be a little over 1 year, with the possibility of as little as 6 months. But 6 months would require some "knock your socks off" numbers for the next 2 quarters. It's possible, but how probable?
The gold is there. The question is how efficiently can they recover it. With a little practice it will get much better.
We all have to remember gold mining for juniors is a lot like fishing. Some days you can see the fish right in front of you, but they won't bite. Other days, you can't do anything wrong. A naked hook brings in a fish.
I still have faith in PCFG. They need a little latitude to get to the really good numbers. As investors, we wast results, NOW. It is tough to be patient.
JMHO
Robo,
Even if they published a recovery rate for the work that they did so far these last 2 quarters, statistically, it wouldn't really mean much. They need to have a lot more production time to get meaningful numbers. Yes, it would be nice to see some figures, but those numbers really wouldn't give you much to plan or predict with.
If they could correlate the recovery rates to core samples and show good numbers, then it would be more meaningful, but still questionable. You need consistent production figures to establish reliable, predictive rates. The "sample" would be too small, statistically.
I suspect they are still "hunting" for the pay gravel that will produce the big returns.
JMHO
Heck, I'll use my cast! That will hurt them more than me, and I have enough pain Meds to make it tolerable!
I just need a real world target, not some electronic geek hiding behind a false figure!
Best I can do is save my Christmas money and buy CGFIA at the ask.
They are trying to squeeze every last penny they can out of CGFIA before the mill operations start. The MM's see the writing on the wall and know CGFIA will be tough to play with in the future.
I hate them too! This stock should be in the penny range right now.
Bowsie,
If you look back in the history of Colorado Gold, you will see that there is support for the new method of tailing removal and storage, called "dry stacking". This is an innovative method of removing the water used to process the ore before it is stored as tailings. Removing the water equates to a significantly reduced amount of waste water reaching the surrounding streams and leaching into the groung water.
One of the owners of the POW mill is very active in the reclamation process of not only the CGFIA property, but the whole area surrounding Silverton. He is part of a group organized for the environmental stabilization and recovery of the Silverton area.
Colorado's Division of Reclamation and Mine Safety (DRMS) is the gatekeeper to environmental standards for the mining industry. They have been very tough on ALL mining operations. (that is one of the reasons CGFIA has been delayed reopening the mill.) At present, they have approved almost all the environmental requirements to restart the mill. The final step is the submission of the engineered design for the dry stack area. As per the most recent quarterly report by CGFIA, this is slated to be submitted by December 21. (I may be slightly off on that date, but it is in that time frame.)
So, to answer your concern, the environmental question is behind CGFIA. As long as they stay within the approved methods outlined in their plan submitted and approved by the DRMS, there will be no problems.
Locally, the mill has the support of the community. It has been published in the local papers. Check out the Silverton Standard for those articles. I believe they have a search engine for their website. You can link to them in the sticky above, posted by Optimiss.
Thought this may be of intrest to the on line poker community. It comes from the MGM board.
http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&article=49744225
On line poker and the service companies that provide the systems to run secure networks are an up coming industry. There are several off shore companies that are mostly private and do this service now. Should the US legalize this sector of gaming, there is potential in this field.
At present, Harry Reid, (D) Nevada US Senator, has introduced legislation for the regulation of the industry. It would require any company to have a minimum of 5 years active gaming experience. So forget the startup garage based companies. The big boys will lock up the "on line" games. However, service companies will be required to aid the gaming comunity run this area.
This translates into the opportunities for service, equipment and electronic systems as being potentially the most targeted areas for expanding profit bases, not to mention outright buyouts and mergers.
Keep your eyes open for any news.
Strictly speculation based on Mr. Guyer's history of fixing up companies and packaging them for sale.
We are just a couple of guys BS'ing at the water cooler.
Have to agree with you on the next quarterly statement for PCFG, Robo.
It will need to knock some socks off to make an impact on the PPS. I think 2 consecutive reports (6 months ) with GOOD numbers will be required to get it back up in the higher penny range. It will hang around .02 for now and the future, barring any super news. JMHO, wish it was otherwise. I'll hang on to my shares for now. I'm not down much. Anything over .027 is good for my bottom line.
Good luck to all you ROBO fanatics!
No, just "nature calling" and the wife is away. Too quiet around here! I'll go down for a nap in a little while. Thought I could catch up on the investing news and text the wife too.
Anything good@ CGFIA happening this AM? Are we rich yet?
Sorry Chase, that was supposed to go to AK, but you can bring the wife and "kid to be" out to the houseboat too. Any buyout of CGFIA would have quite a few long investors very happy, not to mention the recent buyers who got in in the 0003's or so!
Glad to see your hanging in here with us. We all could use a break soon!
GLTY!
AK, if a buyout offer comes along, we can take a couple of million and buy into the parent company. You know the potential would still be there! And the price of the buyer would probably be depressed after a buy out of poor little 'ol CGFIA! It may be a chance to make a few more bucks AND watch our baby grow at the same time.
(Just an early morning mental wandering!)
Oh, you can park your yacht on Lake Mead. You never have to worry about bad weather here. Can't go more than 60 miles in any direction, but the ports of call have great attractions!
On second thought, I'll keep my houseboat here, you can slum it and visit mine! I'll fly out and visit your super yacht!
Deal?
Now that is a judge that I would vote for! (we elect judges in Nevada)
Keep the people informed.
Thanks MRDALE!
Stew,
So did I the first time through, but when I re-read it, I noticed it. It wasn't totally unexpected. Workers, bills and contractors are being paid in stock. I did notice that none of the corporate employees had been given any stock this year. So it looks to me like they have been working for no pay so far. I'm sure that they will get paid sooner or later, but when anyone accuses Mr. Guyer of "dumping shares", that is just impossible. He didn't get any this year.
Glad your back on US soil! Hope your trip was a good one.
Stew, the 10k came out and the O/S was updated in it. Here is the link to the 10k in case you want to read it.

It is the light at the end of the mine shaft! We may only do toll milling for the first few months, but it will be a positive cash flow. That will bring more investors, higher PPS, and the breathing room to get the CGFIA mines producing. That dry stacking plan is a big step.
Good things ARE on the way RKY!
I'll start making plans for Silverton as soon as the DRMS gives the GO for the mill to re- start operations!
(my bag is already packed.)
Oops! Sorry everyone, this iPhone keeps sending the reply to the wrong poster! I know I'm not hung over, so I have to blame something!
When CGFIA hits .10, I'll get some first class equipment!
Hey Sergey & All!
Im doing a little better every day! Thanks for asking. I'm half rolling and half crunching it. Still can only use one leg. I have a couple more weeks of that to go, then slowly start to regain strength in the leg.
I tried posting a few things earlier, but I got taken down by the "big boys"!
See, even us mods have our posts removed!
I'm getting ready for good weeks to come on CGFIA! We are now getting some timetables on the dry stack, and I believe the mill restart will be following shortly. Throw the assay results into the mix and you have one nice recipe for higher PPS!
That's not wishful thinking, that's just analysis of the situation and logical conclusions.
Hope you all have clear heads for Monday morning. (WOW, looks like I need to refill the Grog supply!)
Here's to the good things to come!
Thanks, Willsmith3.
These prices are going to make this look like free money in a little while.
I'll add your purchase to the pile of "booty"!
Oh, and EVERYONE ELSE: JUST A HOLIDAY REQUEST.
Please take it easy on the Grog this holiday. The cops still look on Grog as being an impairment to driving. (even if I have been watering it down much more lately!)
I want you all back on Monday to keep up the conversation.
Pro or Con, Doubter or Believer, your input is valuable, and your life and health are precious!
I, however, can't drive for a bit because of my foot cast. So I see a little extra Grog is in my future!
(Do they give tickets for impaired wheelchair driving?)
Habadg,
This is a "chicken and egg" situation. History shows that there is a good supply of gold in the area. It is the price of gold today that makes it an even more valuable area. Without a local mill to sort the precious metals from the tailings, it makes the mining economically marginal.
The opening of POW mill will make the other mines more viable, and the mill more valuable. So much so, it could mean an expansion of the mill, or other companies trying to open their own mills. (difficult as we have seen due to the DRMS)
The mill is important for the area, not just for CGFIA. But the value of CGFIA really comes from the metal in the ground.
Ok, Ari, I'll add your purchases to the Armada's treasure total!
By the way Guys and Girls, I try and reply to everyone who posts an update to their position. IF you don't get a reply from me when you post info. like Ari's, then I missed your post. ( I'm having a bit of trouble with my Internet right now.)
So keep those cards and letters coming in, I'll try and get a update on the CGFIA total out soon. I think you will all be amazed at the increase this board has picked up in the last few weeks.
Good Fortune to all, and a happy holiday!
MTP
Impact, just a slight correction. There were no core samples taken for the mines. Samples taken were rock chips and aggregate (dirt) from areas in and around the mines. The core samples that have been spoken about were for the dry stack area and the engineering needed for the DRMS approval of that portion of the process.
Assay results from these samples will be used to confirm existing historic information on the mines.
When and if core samples are taken in and around the mines, I expect they will just bolster the results that we are awaiting. That, by the way, would make a TRIPLE confirmation of the precious metals content of the mines.
Pretty tough to deny the potential wealth when it is verified in triplicate! And think about the negotiating position that would give CGFIA IF a sale were the intended outcome.
Have a good holiday everyone!
We are in agreement.
Organic company? Unless I am misunderstanding your use of the word, I think you have that info wrong. AMNP is American Sierra Gold Corp. a mining company like CGFIA.
I live in Nevada, so I see the daily struggle to conserve it. But mining is a BIG part of our state's economy, you can't restrict it or you will really pay in the long run.
PCFG is being a leader in this struggle. I want to see them succeed, not just for the potential profit, but for the example they would be to so many other mining interests.
My sentiment also, Pizz. I think flipping right now would be the wrong play. This has such a volatile upside it could be a rocket in a day, with the right circumstances. Then you would be chasing it just to get back in.
I believe, as you seem to, the buyout is the targeted play, and the highest potential.
JMHO
And in Nevada, northern or southern, growth has made the water issues critical.
PCFG can come out of this as a hero if they get production numbers up. I believe they will. It is rare to start up a new process and hit a home run the first time up at bat.
This company has proven it is innovative and has the ability to overcome problems. It just needs a little more time to work out the bugs.
JMHO
So true, Pro!
I was thinking the price of AMNP would be dropping a bit too, in light of the late filing, and recent numbers. But you make a valid point. CGFIA's increase would be a great help pre- merger. It is a tough thing to calculate; what combination would bring the best outcome for the overall company value. If we knew the effective date for calculating the stock transaction, that would be one less variable to guess at. But that would be giving too much info to the bad guys who like to try to manipulate values in times like this.
I see a lot of possibilities for CGFIA in the coming months, almost too many to calculate.
I'm trying not to be over confident, or push expectations too high. However the outlook seems good for a nice year in '12. A lot depends on the point where individuals started their position with CGFIA. The most recent buyers stand to gain the most. Some older longs will need a much higher target to get a good return. If this company is let alone to run to full potential, everyone should be rewarded nicely.
GLTY
It may be more than a day, Mike, but I believe by early '12 we should be well on our way.
Merger is scheduled for 2/12. Assay, DRMS, dry stack, etc. are wild cards. But, all have been in the works for a while.
They can't keep CGFIA down forever!
Mike, I'm a bit behind in the recent news. From what I see, the merger target's financials have come out. CGFIA's has not. Other than that, it is trading as usual.
We should see an uptic soon. Volume has been up, and the PPS has played around in that area a few times in the last few trading days.
There are so many fronts that news could come from right now. Merger info, assay reports, DRMS decisions on mill restart, and the dry stack progress. Any one of which should be positive and help out the price. Remember that the "chill" is still out there to be dealt with. It makes it a bit harder for some investors to buy CGFIA and slowing things up. (You just have to know which brokers to avoid. Anyone clearing through Penson will not allow purchases, only sales of CGFIA. That is Penson's decision not to handle penny stocks.)
My belief, FWIW, is this stock is way undervalued and should be trading much higher. There is a lot of things happening, so if you can, hold on and get ready for the ride. The potential is there for a good return. But that is only MY humble opinion.
Good luck!
My Internet connection is acting up, so I'll be on when it lets me!
Have a good one.
(Quote the Terminator "I'll be BACK")
Actually, it is all a guess, right now.
My opinion is that assay results will be best released after the merger/ buyout of AMNP. (But we don't know if they are, in fact completed. And they are chip and soil samples, not core samples. Core samples are to come later. However, these assay results are mostly to confirm historical information CGFI has on the various mines.)
I'm sure there are others who will say it would be otherwise. But, if the assay is good, and this information is released after the possible uplist, or at least after the chill is dealt with, then it would make it easier for the average "Joe Investor" to buy stock. It would also make investing in CGFIA more attractive without the chill on the stock. After all, not everyone understands why this chill is in effect. It is investors CGFIA needs to help lift this price to where it should be. That scenario would produce the highest positive impact on the PPS.
This is also one of my first junior miners, but I have 3 right now, so I'm learning as I go. (Each one presents its own difficulties.)
I'm sure there are other opinions about this, so speak up, fellow investors! All ideas are valuable!
Glad to hear from you Kilo, hope civi life is treating you well.
Have a good Thanksgiving, if I don't get to post to you again.
(I'm fighting with a temperamental Internet router. I expect to have it under control Tuesday, but Murphy's Law seems to be the order of the day around here!)
Chasing, Congrats on the kid!
Hope you get the 3's! It takes a lot to send a kid through college!
And I'm sure Mom wouldn't object to a getting little bling!
Best of luck to you all!
You are a rare person, actually born and raised in NV! Seems everyone is a transplant!
Let's all go down to the casino and raise some capital to buy more shares!
(that's how I bought my last 2 million shares.)
Sometimes you get lucky!
I'm not pumping, I'm wishing.
I just threw 50 shares in the wishing well.
