Thought this may be of intrest to the on line poker community. It comes from the MGM board.

On line poker and the service companies that provide the systems to run secure networks are an up coming industry. There are several off shore companies that are mostly private and do this service now. Should the US legalize this sector of gaming, there is potential in this field.
At present, Harry Reid, (D) Nevada US Senator, has introduced legislation for the regulation of the industry. It would require any company to have a minimum of 5 years active gaming experience. So forget the startup garage based companies. The big boys will lock up the "on line" games. However, service companies will be required to aid the gaming comunity run this area.
This translates into the opportunities for service, equipment and electronic systems as being potentially the most targeted areas for expanding profit bases, not to mention outright buyouts and mergers.

Keep your eyes open for any news.
