There won’t be a randomized trial where patients are not given DCVax. The fda already made that clear by the crossover requirement and the fda guidance document.
Please stop the noise.
Thanks!
Please excuse my ignorance but what is the meaning or purpose of the post?
Looks like today’s date and nwbo and an alphanumeric code? Is it the MIA approval?
TIA
Bull hockey!
Mamma mia already with all the MIA puns
It should be clear to everyone who is not biased against nwbo that the regulators are not being adversaries, rather they are using this phase 3 trial and manufacturing as a pioneering first one through example to jointly learn from and set up the regulatory framework with.
Remember, despite all the pot shots at LP and nwbo, they have good reputations such as LP’s contributions and experiences in the same government and in bringing biological product through development and to commercialization, including teaching related classes.
As one of my old government work leaders used to say, he/she has the right thermal image… in other words he/she is or has been one of us and shares our thoughts and needs and thus can be trusted more so than others!
I have never detected an adversarial incident in all the years invested in nwbo, and in fact have felt a mutually cooperative relationship.
Now having said all that I still like the checks and balances of the other RAs such as MHRA to help counter the possibility of the opposition buying decisions somewhere in the approval structure. Not saying this is the case, just good to have something to discourage such foul play from happening.
Nah, no olive oil is just greed. Like cellulose (saw dust) showing up in vegetable egg frittatas where it used to be vegetables and eggs.
The pizzerias and Italian restaurants I buy from still do the food right, at higher prices than before, but not skipping the olive oil or replacing it with lord knows what oil, or using other fugazy ingredients.
Then we also today tried a new “French bakery style place that just opened up, their website showing all these different delicious looking goodies. I bought about four different items only to discover later that they were all made from the same pastry shell in different shapes and exterior texture, so that was a bust as well.
There is a real deal French market in Rumson, home of old and new money, that isn’t cheap but it’s good. Hey YOLO !
Hope this week is a good one for nwbo!
Need a lift from the funk and don’t want to get it from a bottle
Our lead doctors each are doing an event and the MIA is due!
Good game but we had a bad ciabatta pizza and bogus pigs in blanket made with mystery meat
Some previously good Italian delicatessens have sacrificed authentic quality ingredients for cheaper ones or none at all. Like no olive oil in the pizza! Not because I’m moving there, but I’ve had great pizza and a variety of other great foods in the Alpharetta area, where they use authentic imported and local fresh ingredients!
Pretty good Super Bowl game though!
Close, no hangover, just finished off the rest of the bottle prior to writing the post.
I would call it no nonsense cut through the noise case for nwbo/DCVax, not anger, but under the influence less gentile assertion topped off with drunken swagger in the form of a question of clarity.
There’s been a lot of noise for a long time and the majority of it is manufactured for effect not truth. I don’t do well with BS in general and it seems like this country, the best country in the world, is being saturated by so much BS it’s become extremely difficult to trust any news venue, news item, source or public/private figure.
Did I mention I finished off the rest of the bottle
I apologize to everyone I may have offended but not to the true BSers, they know who they are.
That is true and there are individuals on both sides that put their election above all else. It’s also remarkable how all congress people manage to markedly increase their wealth being paid relatively low public sector salaries. Must be making “good investments.”
I usually steer clear of politics but I’m irked by flat out false narratives and completely fabricated resumes!
That’s it, back to waiting on the catalysts humor, no politics.
Additional clue - sounds like the name of an old and deceased talk show host Merve _______.
And btw I’m republican but honest, so pardon me if I don’t like the spineless display and dishonesty of some of the republican members of congress, and long for the return of the Republican Party I proudly and in good conscience voted for and supported.
Politicians on both sides seem to be willing to throw their mothers under the bus for the sake of politics and reelection these days.
I’ve taken serious hits to maintain integrity and not just support the BS!
Here’s my very simplistic analysis:
DCVax-L works and is best treatment available today for GBM
The phase 3 trial validated the efficacy
DCVax is alone in looonnngggg term survivors, bar none
DCVax is safest, most QoL treatment that essentially does no harm
Phase 3 trial proved DCVax can be produced and administered for a large number of geographically dispersed sites and administered doses anywhere like any other vaccine shot in the arm
Downside? NONE!!!!
Decision: doh! Winner winner chicken dinner as obvious as the noses on our faces - it would be criminal to not approve DCVax !!!!
Then peek at combo results and you’d have to be out of your mind or compromised to hold back DCVax!
Imho of course
In summary, you don’t need to be a rocket scientist to see the case for approval and for humanity for the love of God!!!
Clear enough?
It carefully paints a pessimistic bias imo, leaving out any positive developments and counters.
It’s a little worse than the technique of “damming with feint praise.”
Hint: Think about more like multi billion net worth individual who is a large republican donor.
Broke my heart to see those two Jersey boyz break up. So glad I finally got to see Bon Jovi live at Asbury Park beach before the split.
Richie made any band he sat in with sound much better!
But the times they are a changin…
Funny, I had a Pinot Noir in my other hand and chose the Merlot tonight.
There is a definite risk of liking the liquid conviction too much by the time this journey reaches celebration time!
I think Richie Sambora went down a similar slippery slope liking the daily vino!
I stared at the cherry sunburst Les Paul Standard for at least 5 years while it was hanging for sale in Jack’s Music store in Red Bank, NJ. When Jack’s closed to consolidate into his original store, I bid on the guitar but someone else beat me to the punch.
Two or three years later the very same guitar showed up at my friendly neighborhood music shop in the same new condition and I grabbed it!
So definitely wouldn’t want that one broken over my head, although come to think of it, it’s solid mahogany with maple top and very solidly attached neck, so it would probably kill me and not be damaged more than a little dent by my bones
Those Chinese balloons are really collecting data on nwbo naked shorts and KG’s whereabouts
PM,
I sense your conviction is waning with the extended waiting for the positive catalysts to happen.
You know yourself best however I just found some more positive conviction in the form of a French Merlot. Our friend Jackie D might also stiffen the upper lip
Was it Peter Lynch who said you only need one great stock?
I’ve been investing in the market since I was eleven years old, and I’m not complaining, however nwbo has the potential to eclipse all the other gains combined!!!
It’s either going to be parteeee in tha house or sleeping on a park bench inside a boma
I hope the Mrs doesn’t break my guitars over my head. At least not the Les Paul, or customized strat, or…. Oh the humanity!
Price and value are not the same thing!
The nwbo value is mispriced at 70 cents after a successful phase 3 trial of breakthrough efficacy and working towards approvals. The price appears to have been manipulated and still being clamped to a very small and unusual range. You know nwbo filed suit alleging spoofing by the MMs?
The discrepancy between the price and value of this life extending/saving treatment company will be corrected!!!
Multiple factors:
Sh#t happens externally and internally
Strategic FDA guidance timing windows
Pandemic impacts on everything
Not increasing risks to rush - you only get one shot to get approvals and 15 years invested at risk
Breeze,
What is happening 2/13 that you allude to more than once?
Thanks and it’s ok not to answer if you would be risking some kind of trouble.
An r/s isn’t necessary and the players would love one to quickly wipe out value. We’ve all seen how quickly r/s shares get whittled down and we learned that the market is not operating fairly and honestly.
At the ASM LP made a statement at least once, if not twice, that nwbo is in the best position it’s been in. This was said after the official close of the ASM and I believe into a live microphone that was feeding the remote broadcast.
The UK approval is key to shifting gears and helping the share price, and the route is as clear as previewing it on a GPS!
Not sure what’s taking the MIA, as it’s approval was telegraphed, but it will very likely happen any day, maybe tomorrow even. Then the MAA is the focus. To get to a destination you must keep putting one foot in front of the other!
Within the last couple years there was the case of a bio, I think it is Brooklyn Bio or similar name, that is pre approval and pre phase 3, and the sp went from around a buck to around 60 bucks in days, before finding itself back down to the low single digits.
Why? Good timely reporting of some nature maybe. Rumor of smart money maybe. I don’t know but the point is this stock surged 60x in a couple-few days whether there was sufficient rationale or not and as far as I know no prospects of revenue for years.
It happens. I don’t buy stock because I expect that it will rocket in N days or weeks or months.
Having stated this, can a similar thing happen with nwbo? Yes it can. I don’t know that it will. But I’ve thought about being prepared if it did surge vertically one day.
I do expect that nwbo will get to much higher levels than it’s at now in time and that an approval will be a catalyst.
GLTA
I know Stuttgard isn’t a representative market but fwiw nwbo is up 16% there this morning. Maybe we’re really close?
Sorry for sticking my nose in your business, but hang in there Angelo!
There’s a guy in our extended family that was written off as having terminal liver disease almost a year and a half ago, who was almost sent to hospice because he had no options and would not get a donor liver in the foreseeable future.
He did what the doctor prescribed, stayed clean, underwent some necessary procedures that helped his general condition. Has had and still has his better and worse days, but overall he’s doing better, no hospice, and the doctors are sounding more hopeful and not an imminent fait accompli
Keep the medical community on their feet too! Probe and press and reach out to broader knowledge and if there’s “a Doctor Liau” in the field of hypertension and kidney disease try to connect if possible.
All the best wishes to you!
That chimp looks smarter than certain hit piece writers, and much purer of soul
Thanks dstock it helped with respect to the brokerage, 401K, traditional IRA, Roth IRA, accounts each being protected $500k, with cash being protected up to $250K.
Not sure how sipc applies to accounts kept with multiple brokerage companies, whether each company gets independent treatment.
The bulk of my financial life is tied to one company, as it happens my former employer uses the same company to administer the pensions and the retirement savings plan (401k). However I think the pension falls under a different category and is backed by former employer pension obligations and funds, with the government pension guarantee protection of a certain fraction of the pension.
Not sure how the retirement plan assets are treated and protected.
So net-net, I think we should be careful to distribute the brokerage account assets and cash if sipc treats accounts at different brokerage companies independently.
If we gain vast riches from our nwbo investment we may want to move some eggs into different baskets
The standard answer I get from my brokerage companies is that even if the brokerage has a problem, the securities (stocks, bonds, treasury notes, etc) are still in our accounts and we still own them.
One broker told me that the sipc protects me from a broker doing something unauthorized, but I’m not sure I feel comfortable with either statement.
I thought sipc protected more than half a million! More like 1-2 million. Any sipc experts here to confirm the limit?
Also is it protection per brokerage, or is it total across brokerages combined?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Sorry to break the humorous mood, but seriously, buying Mr softie shares from my reputable and sipc protected brokerage accounts, the brokerages must make good when I sell, no?
They executed the buy orders for me and should be accountable for crediting good shares to my accounts!
I don’t remember ever hearing of any issue when it was time to sell shares through a name brand brokerage.
Not to mention that millions of us have pensions, 401Ks, IRAs, etc. at our favorite handy dandy brokerage companies.
Abigail wouldn’t do us dirty, would she, nahhhhh!
You make a logical case!
The optics, as they say, are not optimal when one person bears 3 positions within a company and is the CEO or head honcho of a company and a supplier/service provider.
I choose words somewhat carefully and have been consistently not accusing LP and nwbo/advent of actual malfeasance, however innocent or not, the governance structure is not optimal in appearance and in how an analysis would rank it compared to other corporations.
Since I’m very long time investor in nwbo and among LP’s top fans, I want the best and believe the best, however we should acknowledge different perceptions even when we may know better.
Doc,
Thanks for the perspective around protection and defense. I forgot about the purposeful distribution of strategic assets!
It does however look like questionable governance.
Hoff, I’m a big LP believer from a long time, however her Achilles heel has been the appearance of having less than pristine and transparent management and business structures and relationships.
What PM is gleaming from the limited financials isn’t helping to debunk the implications of self-dealing profiteering, and I truly hope there’s nothing untoward going on, however I wish LP would just clean up governance once and for all!
I imagine the nyse/ase/nasdaq up listing would question the governance of nwbo and related entities, and LP holding many positions and interests. Cleaning this up might be a prerequisite for an up listing and perhaps a reason for nwbo to merge with advent?
Contrary to popular belief, the booth is the same booth, nwbo has a multi year deal and keeps the booth contents there locally instead of starting over each year.
What you point out is why I’m still thinking HyGrow is AF under a pseudonym.
Paranoia or reality?
If it looks like a duck, sounds like a duck, it’s probably a duck - Quaaaaaaacccckkkkkk!!!!!!
