Can you post a link to a manufacturer that has an accurate store locator with as many locations as WNBD? I'll await your reply. Since WNBD uses distributors to gain access to retail locations, it shouldn't take a rocket scientist to understand that 100% accuracy is nearly impossible. Although the locator is an important tool for consumers, I would much rather see them spending their energy trying to add additional locations (brick and mortar) as opposed to daily checks to insure each location listed has product on the shelf.
your welcome
If you do some research into what has gone on with Walmart over the past year or so you will see that many major brand name items were removed from Walmart shelves. Walmart felt they would replace those items with their own brand name product, thus generating an increase in profit. The end result was the plan didn't work very well, and many of those products are now back on the shelves there. So, it's not out of the relm of possibility that WNBD could be back in Walmart sometime down the road, that is if they can't come to an agreement on the current situation before being removed completely.
I do agree it hurt the share price as well as company sales, and the 2Q revenues are evidence of that. I also believe the loss in revenue from Walmart will be picked up elsewhere, due to customer desire for the product. What we wittnessed in 2Q was Walmart not placing any re-orders, but they still had stock in warehouses to sell to consumers. Once that stock is depleted those consumers will purchase it elsewhere, thus creating larger or more frequent orders at surrounding retailers that carry Winning Colours. So those ill effects in revenue as a result of the Walmart problem may no be as evident going forward.
There sure has been alot of board chatter about the possibility of a R/S in the future. I'm not sure why that's a great concern at this point. Most companies do one because the A/S is maxed out with an already high O/S, or they are having problems raising capital with an extremely low share price. Neither of those two situations exist here. Over the past 5 years they have only issued 1.5 billion shares, and most of those were done within the first 2 years. At the current rate of dilution (avg. over the past 2 years) or a slight increase, they could continue for approx. 10 more years before maxing out the A/S. I'm certainly not saying they will do that, but I was just using it as an illistration to show there is no reason for a R/S as long as liquidity remains in the stock.
I'm quite sure the reason for COGS being so high is tied to the DRTV campaign. You have new product packaging, as well as the kit packaging, phone answering services, warehousing fees, labor fees to put the kits together, and shiping fees.
WNBD Costs Breakdown
Here are the "big" items I'm curious about; all other areas are nominal.
Sales - Down 18%
Cost of Goods Sold - Up 177%
Advertising - Up 116%
Management and Staff Compensation - Up 9%
As usual the ask getting hit, and eturd drops the ask lol.
This is what I do for a living, but I greatly appreciate your concern lol.
Whether or not the comment should have be made is a matter of opinion, but it corresponds to the answer of the question that was ask, especially when the whole email is taken into consideration.
If you knew how to read financials you could see where the money was spent, and you wouldn't have to ask message board posters where it went. Without good news the price may get to where you want it dude, so no need to keep hammering something you claim you won't buy.
All I can do is laugh when I read your ever evolving post over the years lol. All one has to do is look at the claims you were making years ago about WNBD, and see that each time you were proven wrong by the CEO through filings/verifiable information you would look for another avenue for posting this goofy stuff. Actually you have been good for the shareholders as far as getting the company to move forward to disprove your absurd claims. Keep up the good work.
This might help with your DD.

Also answers to employee salaries can be found in the filing, and the ambassadors salaries can be found in the last CC.
There's nothing wrong with scaling back or out of your position if you don't have confidence in the growth of the company, but your guess is only as good as anyone else as to when/if the a NA could be announced.
Happy painting lol, and have a nice night.
I appreciate your response, but there is evidence that can be found in memos or filings that carry more weight than anyone's opinion.
Contrary to your opinion on the point below, the IDS clearly states the SKU number was for Lowes in the USA. It can be read on page 23 of the IDS.
welcome aboard alpine.
Cute siggy, but I do have a serious question to ask you. You don't have to respond if you choose not too, but since there seems to be some doubt about the integrity of our CEO I thought I'd ask anyway.
Do you honestly believe that Eric's statement about the Lowes deal being imminent, and him congratulating shareholders for their foresight to invest, was an attempt to mislead (dangle the carrot) the shareholders/potential shareholders.... or do you believe the statement about Lowes was made due to the fact he had recieved written confirmation that week that WNBD had been approved, and a SKU number was designated for winning colours, or do you think his congratulations to shareholders could have been his honest depiction of would be happening to the share price with the commencement of the Lowes account, and a successful launch of the DRTV which was scheduled to begin soon.
Thank you berend
Does anyone know where to find the pdf file that list hundreds of uses for WC? Thanks
Yep, that would be a great target audience!!!
Maybe that will be the approach when/if the Lowes US account is activated. It would be great if they would begin in a location where WC currently has other retail locations. More bang for the advertising buck.
Where's lightbeam when ya need him. We need him to try WC as a colon cleanser lol. With that becoming the new diet fad, we might be able to penetrate that market haha.
1001 uses now lol
I completely agree, and pig would be a good one. nother possibility is the area located where the Spartin stores are located "once stocked". I am thinking there are quite a few other locations currently carrying WC in that area.
I may be wrong, but it seems that is what's going on at the present time. I'm not saying they are changing the model to mirror another company, but it's obvious that the personnel changes and the hiring of other sales related people is justification that some type of change is underway.
Did you try any oxi on your hat there teach?
I don't doubt that, my point was to refute his unfounded post that OxiClean didn't advertise and made it to the big leagues. Also it will never be know if OxiClean had it right in their first attempt in their DRTV campaign, or if adjustments were made to schieve success. All we are allowed to see is the end result of an amazing growth company that made it from the mom and pop setting to the largest US retail chains.
I agree with your comments on the floundering economy, but it seems sometimes when one door is closed another is opened. I say this in regards to the transformation that has taken place in the young life of Winning Colours. Those who have followed this company from the early days probably forgot what the target consumer was back then. I think back to when basically the only board chatter, PR's, and retail locations were targeted at the paint and home improvement retail sector. Since those early day we have seen the transformation of a paint stain remover into a general household cleaning sensation. Although we continue to add paint/hardware/home improvement locations, we have been picking up alot of locations in the grocery, drug, convenience stores, and general merchandising locations.
I'm not sure if this was the plan so early on from the beginning, or if the economy caused the company to branch into other arena's before capturing the paint market. Either way, I believe it will work out in the long run due to the deversity of locations being tauted to carry winning colours.
Seems like you have a beef with the management of WNBD, and I'm not puting words in anyone's mouth. The fact remains the 2Q numbers aren't good, but they are in the range I expected given the barriers of the quarter. There are no blinders on here, nor am I shooting the messenger, but I will counter the post of peeps who state opinions as facts. Just like everyone else here and elsewhere in the penny market it's a gamble. It comes down to odds, momo, or luck, and I like the odds here for success, the momo will come in the future, and I will consider myself lucky. The day of success may or may not come, but if it does it will happen very quickly with the right announcement.
So now you are saying that only WNBD can't turn their revenue deficit around by landing a US national retailer, but other companies can. Maybe you need to apply some common sense, and understand that nothing is a 100% absolute, but to sumise others companies can while WNBD can't is simply a lack of busisness knowledge.
So basically you are saying that no busisness has the ability to land a major US national retailer, and turn their revenue numbers/growth factor around?
Give me your honest opinion drew. Can those numbers be corrected with one major USA national retailer, along with the other current retailers?
There are a couple of things I really like with this approach. When people see the product demonstrated it will basically sell itself, therefore during this stage no advertising required, the demo/sales booth is the eye-catcher. Slaes should really be fantastic because of the confident energy people feel right after watching the demonstrations. If the stores are using the sales figures to gauge product potential for the possibility of future placement, then things should favorable in this sales enviornment. Then if placement is later achieved, this type of retail outlet has plenty of room for in-store advertisement or roll-around carts.
I'm reminded of how well the rolling carts seemed to generate sales compared to shelf space locations per pictures, and memos in the past.
I agree on the bottle size thing, but like I said earlier there are alot of busisnesses that purchase all their cleaning supplies from Sam's, and they may be trying to tap into that market perspective as well as regular consumers.
I'm not sure of all the reasons Sam's Club and BJ's have for doing this type of in-store demonstration/promotional sales for new products, but I am sure of the reasons for another store (not mentioned in the CC) has for doing the exact same thing. Costco does the same things in their stores, and they use it to #1 build an awareness for potential new product listings, and #2 gauge the potential sales which the product could achieve if it were to be a candidate for permanent store listing.
I'm not insuinating that is the reasons for Sam's and BJ's interest in this type of sales stradegy, but the possibility does exist that this a way for them to determine whether or not a product placement would be feasible for them and the supplier without any type of contractual agreement.
Given the fact there were approx. 87 million shares traded during the month of July, and only 12.5 million shares added to the float, I'm not totally sure the dirtbag is completely responsible for the supressed share price.
I agree TAKI, nothing wrong with reducing or selling your position, but absolutly no reason to begin making negative post now that you've sold.
I was sure you did, especially since your post changed back to the negitive variety.
Looks like you reduced your position during the CC when you didn't get the desired information you were hoping for lol. We still have close to 5 months left in this physical year, and alot can happen in that amount of time. In fact, in the real busisness world, alot can happen in a week when it's things you've been working on for quite awhile. That post has about as much merit as the tax selling post you throw out there lol.
