Not too many possibilities herein.
You pay a fine.
You have to present evidence of what is wrong about SEC freeze.
SEC does not have to accept it. Live legal support with ATIG at SEC meeting . . . and who is to pay it (with what)? Sounds like just a fromal input legal counter-position letter to be presented to SEC.
ATIG has the monies of retail investors . . . note the final status of our money was shorted from us, maybe by insiders?
ATIG paid out 'contracts' to develop its online mobile platform for casino venues only. Where did that $$s go? Where is the verified performance info?
ATIG received 'salaries' (and stock options rights?).
Someone has all 'our' monies . . . what will they do . . . give it back (doubtful)?
ATIG has made no public (that I am aware of) remise for its 'in-activity' and any useful reference to its platform useage figures, etc. by tribal casinos.
Everyone is scared . . . wonder why? ATIG dropped-the-ball . . . why no info on that? Silence. Does ATIG even have a 'ball' to drop?
No one has come forward from 'our 1st shareholders meeting' to tell us retail investors the facts. Its rather rudimentary 'stupid' to have even had a shareholders meeting . . . if no real info came forth. Some of us are really wondering what happened therein.
How long will it take for 'the application' to be processed and answered?
Sounding a lot like a final extra legal maneuver to 'cover their legality a--'?
Note neither SEC or ATIG are required to state why 'the freeze' and then release of freeze to zero stock value. Wonderful oversight by both. OTC and pink sheet retail investors are left with an 'empty' letter statement. SEC performance matches the performance of pinkie zombie companies. America has become a turkey shoot descent . . . no real small business assistance plan to create jobs . . . thus we are throwing our monies toward the big sucking drain sound . . . in the dark.
I am not crying spill milk . . . I just was stupid enough to believe that american creative development could come from pinkies status lack of oversight and minimum reporting standards . . . follow the money . . . what did that president say about life 'trust, but verify'.
And . . . crowd funding via internet 'Hope-and-Change' schemes, also appears quite heavily shewed to failure. Now, I look for sales and revs thereof, and product reviews as more solid investing model. Most small start-up businesses fail within 5 years. 'To The MOON Alice!!'
Its really why humans fail . . . no management skills or common sense . . . and no plan b or C. Bad code. I ,of course, left out random motion . . . the flip of the coin.
Read this book by this silicon valley dude . . . and he says we posters online should be paid for each cellphone, etc. post, survey, game etc. electronic activity we do. Its morally fair and a possible future job for all of us in a GAI (guaranteed income consumerism economy) . . . he felt it was wrong that the government, advertisers, and data miners should get our responses and data and comments value for free.
? to the board: MCZ future financing
I see 3 options:
Hidden (for now) partnership already established (think EA, China telecom/game company seeking easy way to enter USA market via buy of MCZ stock and getting a place or two on the MCZ board), or someone like MAT starting to think . . . wow . . . kids do a lot of WIFI gaming . . . lets experiment and put some MAT quality symbols on it . . . for a couple of $10s of millions . . . we get Midnight City IGDs and our MAT team joins with MCZ team to barbie them up!
Barbie Drive Wheel for example. Pink and all . . . Da!
Option 2: MCZ funds internally through holiday and 2014 sales profits.
Option 3: MCZ floats some stock, maybe with warrants.
which shall we see beyond 2013?
Wild Card in all this: hacker IGame Developers may feel much more confident that they will get a fair review of their creativity from Midnight City.
Midnight City could be big yet unknown financing tool for MCZ IF MCZ tried a crowd funding online approach with a IGD?
Thanks bob, I think I will begin establishing my positions in GLXZ.
I agree with your research direction for the company.
My emphasis is on paid online gaming/gambling, and I see that at least happening overseas user locations and cruise ships, for now. NV and NJ and others in USA are also a potential source of paid hookup for BETS?
You had excellent finds.
Reading between the lines . . . my supposition is MCZ may be betting the house on continuing status of low-end consumers (mostly students and job-less families and 20-hour workers), as potential market for MOJO device features. Do not forget the lower end of the 99% of the economy is slowly increasing.
there has (to now) been no real attempt to find jobs for t hem (maybe they just can't).
The kids (so to speak) are very into mobile and playing cellphone games. Wifi use it bigger than one sees in the media hop-ium news.
MCZ may lower retail price of MOJO , if it decides for second production / shipment of MOJO in 2014. Throw the Ball and do a 'Hail Merry' and try and get into the NWO of gaming / SW platforms?
MCZ has probably planed for slow acceptance of MOJO into first three quarters of 2014. That's what I would have done, as back-up strategy. MCZ can just 'sit-there' and built and improve MOJO, as it goes along, as a sideline-product. MOJO is in no-way a MCZ 'killer' like the educational tablet for kids helped to kill a certain BK SW company recently. MOJO was designed around that failure idea (it has open-platform SW access).
Yes, I am here for MOJO potential for mobile + online gaming/gamblin platformg.
I have confidence in MCZ other products line also.
I really do not see much downside for MCZ now . . . though I could be wrong therein. Why would insiders and large holders want to weaken the value of the stock anymore?
I plan to buy some more MCZ today or maybe tomorrow (Friday).
This very poor Congressional performance display cannot go on much longer . . . as China and Japan do not want it and they and
Arab Oil allies hold massive amounts of USA T-Bills.
Deal will come over weekend, after market closes I suspect.
It is really silly to assume the deal that was made several years ago, by AMA and large Pharma mullti-nationals and Insurance Companies is now to be pulled apart. Everyone had their say back then and got huge concessions from Administration and Congressional lobbyists. This effect on MCZ price will soon be gone, as american eople of all parties now very unhappy with DC.
USA must emphasis having a good holidays season of sales, or USA economy mostly service and imports will cause social unrest.
Lets hope my comments aabove are correct for us and MCZ potential.
We will get cross-spectrum of sales from all aspects of MCZ line.
MCZ marketing strategy seems to be going to gamer awareness events like Comic Con, etc. and getting the twitter/face book feed-off, while getting the initial MOJO output onto Amazon, etc. Magazine stories and ads will also help.
Maybe small amount of key cellphone/tablet activity as say grade and high school and college levels will built out rapidly. I do see the initial shipment/production getting sold and second production run to be approved.
Regardless of how next earnings call quarter goes . . . MCZ is in right spot, at the right time . . . for little company (Lit will ride the new platform wave swell accordingly. Over $1 if we are lucky for holidays (I am being conservative therein). MOJO is somewhat new type of tech in between other platforms in price and performance, thus its acceptance will be slow but stead. MOJO (Ldue to its unique features and chip speed, etc.) just might be right for a number of low-cost gamers and other type of user.
I know I am optimistic . . . but this is a real coin-flip type of investment. ITam already in in small amounts, thus I will continue to buy more MCZ. there has been some criticism of MCZ management, but I feel they did fine with the resources they had . . . and my just previous post on EA/China cellphone market potential was meant to project that MCZ can come out of this.
What I am looking for is cross-partner realition ship for MOJO
SCENARIOS: EA has come to realize its not going to be around significantly
in 5-7 years w/o a foot-in-the-door of mobile/online cloud-ism. Its fronts $$s to MCZ to market, manufacture and upgrade MOJO, as a relevant low-cost alternative platform it can fall back on to, covering itself to go it alone, in a deflationary world economy scenario.
China wants to assert itself in the international gaming platform/SW association market, while challenging Xbox and PS$ with a home-grown capability. We hardly suspect MOJO is mainland China manufactured. Chinese phone companies say hmm . . . and go to Federal Government export office and pitch a deal. Rmember how China used the Ajpanese 1970s-1980s sell vehicles at ner cost, to gain market share? They did EU and USA solarcell market the same way. What's not to like?
MCZ patent pending in China is 'pushed' to the front of the line.
China government formally announces policy of promoting domestic manufactured MOJO as key to present and future market positioning. MCZ gets to sell MOJO and; maybe a royalty position for some set volume of USA and EU sales volume.
Just some different views on matters.
Tuesday Oct 8 Release of MOJO data and Mid Dec 2013 sales release in small quantities for holiday season sale @ $249 and chip speed of 1.8 W/ Android 4.2!
Good move by MCZ!
Xbox and PS . . . you have competition.
EA going to like this.
Reasonable retail price and attractive performance figures.
Personally, I do not have any problem with taxes on public sold weed.
You drive on the 'fun highway' someone has to pave it. Government has awakened to the tax potential of weed and the notion that you can't stick everyone in jail for minor 'crimes', just to make some contractors stead employment building new prisons (that again cost huge monies to maintain).
Nothing is free even the air we breathe has to be pulled into our lungs by effort and calorie body consumption.
Just remember when Congress passes national legal MJ use and possession . . . they also will be using it. The Times They Are A-Changing.
Yes, I agree.
It might take some time though . . . maybe after new years . . . it just hard to tell. Like others have stated, .10 is quite do-able, very soon on good news.
Yes, yet not happy with lack of info on customer counts from stores and online buyers.
It will be amazing if PHOT sells a whole lot of it phototrons to small growers of whatever. Maybe small urban indoor growers is PHOT market focus right now?
Doubtful big guys would need PHOT . . . this is the part of the grower equation I await data on.
Me thinks multinational farm groups and mega grower/processors quietly oppose urban self-reliance and Vertical Farming concepts. Big policy mistake for future that USA and other countries is heading for . . . Urban Farming could be big localized source of employment for unemployed. Even Jimmy Rogers is pushing invest in farming . . . everyone has to afford food. Why spend countless Billions transporting it, when a great deal of it can be grown right in our homes and cities. That and medical MJ (I can't use it medically) however I support respectful public uses of it, including recreational MJ.
Know older lady that has prescription to use it to get to sleep (due to injury pain of falling down). She says it works great, better than shots for pain and pain pills, and she can operate 'normal' during day activities.
The real question is who makes these wonders of technology for PHOT and the hood boys and girls? Vietnam or Mexico? USA sourced?
If they lowered the price . . . do they need sales?
Everyone is so rich and worry-free, what me worry?
Lets hear some stories about what and how buyers are doing with the wonder tech.
Ah . . . the battle between shorts and longs!
Confuse reigns!
Buy buy . . . Sell Sell . . . maybe just hold some . . . take a chance to win?
Is PHOT out of the woods or in the woods?
Only PHOT really knows, and they are not yet ready to roll over and die.
Please support your MMs, etc. . . . its so un-cool for them to stand in the food stamps line. Mr. Pain . . . who's Mr. Gain?
And send free erection pills to the old folks in DC comics!
Or a Zumba exercise video to them and they will be in traction and can't good-off. The politics of pain and gain might just require voting for Mary Jane
laced smoothies?
Again, your research efforts as an investor show through.
On the intro video to the Xbox Fitness program . . . I saw no reference to a huge potential population . . . those over 50 that have existing medical conditions or just plain older aging. This is a huge and growing and needy of directed exercise and dieting program assistance and live over-sight.
One problem with 'fight sticks', etc. game-ers is that they 'get-too-much-into extreme-motion-movements' . . . the screaming like a drill officer to force the user into rapid exercising is rather insane. Its like mid-age and old farts trying to achieve some wonderland of sexual prowl-ness through drugs.
Laughable if it was not a serious danger to their hearts and bodies. You cannot just start magic exercises without cleaning out your blood flow paths at a measured medically slow rate. Stroke anyone?
MadCatz [symbol MCZ or see their developing .com MOJO videos] MOJO could connect to sensors from the Goggle App Store (along with its SW combined), to monitor and provide oversight by approved medical staff (that confers with your doctor's orders). COOL should work with MCZ to cut costs and inovte jointly these sensor device hookups to user.
Zumba (cool SW) would do well to contact MCZ on MOJO as a method of introducing Zumba fitness to many more low-budget (than Xbox and PS4) exercisers. There is huge potential herein for both companies to partner on this for $$s and services to users.
The potential for just dropping users of all ages into an exercise fitness programs, paced for the able and healthy youth crowd (without active monitoring and per-use medical exam) is scary.
Hope the above is not too over-the-top addition to the board, but it does 'fit' into the COOL/Zumba equation.
My ideas may not be where COOL/Zumba wants to go.
Another reason I bring up MCZ MOJO . . . is its obvious venue for COOL to upgrade its online and mobile freebie and paid income gaming/gambling potential. COOL will need all the help it can get to share costs and tech . . . and its will eventually be bot out if its is to 'ride-the-wave' that MSFT,EA, etc. will develop say by 2017. I think at least both companies should look each other over . . . share their thoughts . . . it will help to center both of them on their paths into this new tech frontier.
Looking over GLXZ as small company that could be bot out/or partnering with another. At least it attends shows, has revenues and a development budget.
Daily volume is terrible.
Is it mainly focusing on Washington State tribal relationships for growth (at this time)? Not much out there about GLXZ. Any thoughts appreciated.
Whats with its online gaming/gambling potential?
Does this include paid for mobile online gaming, outside of physical casino venue format? Is so , good for NJ. I continue to stop back to ATIG board, just to see if ATIG has ANYTHING to say to its retail investors . . . doubtful as I suspect that would be grounds for legal action.
It was always a very long odds gamble on getting into online gambling cheap.
I am now over on COOL, MCZ, and watching GLUU and ZNGA.
GLXZ (I may have last letters transposed) is another very small, but earning monies on casino tech and some capability in online gambling. Its another on my watch list.
Folks on EA board (for one) are starting to think in terms of online gaming/gambling as potential new sector for EA. It will be interesting to sit and watch to see how acquisitions and consolidation play out with casinos and phone companies and software moguls. Online and mobile gaming/gambling is going to happen . . . got to keep the public happy and taxed?
Like little Electric Vehicle companies . . . ATIG dropped the ball on new to be sectors.
We are suppose to learn from our failures . . . gees . . . I should be getting smarter?
Agreed.
I offered them a new fairly inexpensive path to expand Zumba sales into new territory with low PR costs. They probably do not even read this board.
Whats their PR plan infomericals, talk show visits, put it in the stores and 'they will come'? Amazon orders?
Dr. Oz show and The Doctors might be good.
David Letterman? Nightly Business Report story on unemployed couple that got creative and made a new business grow successful.
They have . . . what . . . the janitor subing as PR part-time?
Holiday season steadily approaches . . . ticktock . . . ticktock.
We do not know yet . . . in my previous post to you I speculated over $200 do to its on-board memory capacity installed and 1080 display screen dpi.
We also do not what its chip speed will be . . . will it be upgraded before its is introduced to public?
The game has now changed with the latest news about EA/MCZ.
The EA connection opens up big vault of financing. My reasoning herein is EA has chosen to enter online/cellphone type mobile device gaming and likes MOJO.
This now expanses EA potential for online competition for changing format to gaming customers.
This is my feeling right now.
This bodes well for MCZ.
We possibly could have a buyout partner situation developing clearly.
The stock price may climb close to $1 and then drop back. I just do not know what's up with new investors that will be coming our way. Most do not have any idea of what MOJO is and how it is lower-price competitor to PS and Xbon models due out.
We now have MOJO release for holidays(?) 'expectation fever' on the table.
REgardless of what comes therein, MCZ now has enough 'fuel' to push it into +$1 stock price range soon.
'The games . . . they are afoot Watson . . . we have booty to come.
Another aspect of MOJO puzzle, is it may be more appealing to China government as proper platform for Chinese public online use (its cheaper, locally sources we think, and fits into their desire for more mobile uses by rural and urban Chinese. China also sees the export revenues possibilities to markets around the world. Keep everyone happy playing games?
Good find.
This just leverages our position in COOL.
Just have to sit and wait for Nov and holidays sales results.
If government wants to reduce health care costs (via schools and senior centers and exercise saloons) just order some Zumba DVDs and pay for instructors to emphasis appropriate Zumba exercise programs. Can't reach the human mind through mandates, but everyone can have fun exercising to the beat!
Kids I see walking around and waiting for the school bus look like they are 55 years old and prisoners of the junk food bar. I dig the Zumba-like stand, walk, and slow dance your pounds off. Drop the cellphones and pickup the Zumba beat!
This company needs to talk to OBomb care and his wife and get these Zumba DVDs around. Pres can mandate FDA and HUD and Medicare and schools to quickly offer Zumba as PE class content option. Girls will go for it and Boys follow Girls to open co-ed classes. Throw in some fun food class time co-ed and medical costs will go down into the dawning future.
Hello COOL . . . anyone in there? Knock, Knock.
Free Big Media PR for COOL and Zumba.
Replying to my own post again . . . does it appear to others here that MCZ used the Bridge Club media capable rental to play to the magazine writer/super player bunch . . . and then used that to register twitter/you tube, etc. 'hits' as the method of getting out the news on its new holiday offering?
I am hoping for some gaming magazine article/interviews coming in October/November issues. MCZ new controller sells for over $125 retail, and new keyboard is $100. Based on those price points and with "at least 16 GB internal memory" and 1080 DPI up link capability . . . MOJO retail price would have to be over $200. That's the way I see it.
There was very guarded statement from EU Game Expo about MOJO was shown (appeared to roughly 100 physical on site quests at the Bridge event).
That did not make me believe MOJO Ad campaign was what we saw therein.
MCZ is putting a lot of new electronic devices out this holiday season, that is quite a bit for a cash account of $30 Mil for MCZ at least what is publicly known at this time point).
With what has been shown (and revealed of MOJO) at Japan Game Expo and (so far) not at EGX, I am confused about MOJO soon launch. I am left to be patience and hope.
Somebody built the MOJO test device we saw at Japan GX . . . my guess is that work was done in Asia not USA. Question is . . . how many were available at EGX Bridge event for visitors to look over and try?
The reason I bring that up is I remember in the Japan GX video I heard it stated that MOJO would have faster internal chips coming. That does sound like mere proto was demo-ed. Also, MCZ has been very guarded about MOJO . . . so far. Are they 'fishing' for comments and player pulse stage only?
Next PR will be interesting as to what it talks about.
A few comments have talked about the possibility MOJO might be 2014 product. Unless the potential manufacturer of MOJO is directly interested in becoming a MCZ funding partner . . . MCZ will have to seek and find $$s.
This week USA Budget Battle is significant factor in affecting all stocks (including MCZ) and its effects are spreading around the world. Not a good thing for shoppers to be happy about. China is also in flux about what it will allow as internet access for its people. Mainland travel access to Maccu is soon to be cut by 50%. Would that mean gamers/gamblers will be moving to internal China internet access?
China is studying which platforms are to come up (e.g. PS and Xbox new models) and whether they will have too much open internet capability (and you thought HLS was heavy oversight).
Even speculating on such stuff as above . . . I am still holding my present MCZ stock positions long . . . MCZ could very well still see over $1 price if holiday season is good for its new tech and devices.
MCZ may not PR this week due to air space focus on Congressional Doll Dance . . . me first . . . NO . . . me on first!
Thanks for the accounting posting.
I have no real cost estimate of what MOJO (in particular) would cost to manufacture. Lets just assume its around $50-$75, in its first production run (which I have no idea what volume that would entail). I could be high or low on manufacturing cost.
Looks like MCZ cash is 'going to the wall' with the MOJO product?
Somebody on a site felt the MOJO was a basic cellphone (but with expansions) w/o a screen. Do not know how accurate that description could be. If there is any truth in the cellphone size, case, and electronic guts; it might be fairly easy to have cellphone assembly line staff and equipment change production jig/parts on short order timeline. Or, MCZ just wrote a production contract of so many steady volume MOJO units, at a small rate that it can handle buck-wise. Could MCZ be sourcing MOJO from major cellphone manufacturer, or smaller one? We assume its Chinese.
We seem to be 'testing-the-waters' on MOJO.
Reason I say that (w/o anything to back it up)is that MCZ apparently chose not to pay for a booth at the European Game Expo (or at least has not indicated it will follow the Japanese Game Expo format, which included a nice couple of event interviews with media). That said, perhaps MCZ is handling the media selectively at the 7 PM exclusive event? Most frustrating is how MCZ is to get serious volume of game folks and tech geeks over to the Under The Bridge Club event, if its a paid entrant only meeting? I would have liked lots of ordinary gaming folk to have given their views and suggestions on how they would use the MOJO and to comment on its features.
That's 'survey' Beta Product Testing, and MCZ might have already done that in closed/signed release forums? Which brings up the question directly, has MCZ conducted any user experience Beta Testing of MOJO? Which makes me head spin a little, trying to imagine where are we heading into holidays? I fully suspect I am not the only retail investor feeling left outside the council. Is there a MCZ guy walking round the streets near the Main Expo Event . . . opening an overcoat to display some MOJO <---joke, of course.
Or, why not print up a MOJO courtesy handout or DVD and direct comments and offer to post to designated survey site? Did we lose a good chance to do some low-cost PR to 'the right stuff' (potential customers and their friends and associates)? Hope my ramblings have not caused 'ripples' in the ether pond. I shall shut-up now and let everyone have their weekend.
Can you hear the paint drying?
Maybe positive PRs coming as we do the holiday season?
It may be some months before we get online 'event'.
We might find some online USA use stats helpful.
And, 'we are played by game-ers/users in X number of USA states'.
NV is 'active'.
Maybe hold a 'get-to-know COOL games conference' in some USA cities (NJ, and big senior population states) or online conference get-together? Offer game play rewards coupons and scan codes, etc. in AARP and game magazines.
EGX MCZ PR?
Did brief scan of EGX site online.
No evidence MCZ contributed to sponsoring it, along with other game houses, stores and developers. Was not mentioned in logo credits.
Apparently, MCZ has focused on Sept 26 @ 7 PM rental of West London Club = Under The Bridge demo/conference event (very close to actual EGX site). LCB is shown as a large media equipped site, including some large Display screens. It will cost 25 pounds to be admitted and no one under 18 allowed in.
EGX is open 10AM>7PM Sept 26-29.
We must assume MCZ staff was at EGX during the day and after looking over what INDIE developers signed up for display of their personal SW developments, MCZ was smart enough to give free tickets for the Under The Bridge event to those it wanted to get to know. I am , of course, assuming Midnight City MCZ INDIE gamer support staff interacted with the INDIEs that were at the EGX.
This probably was a very good strategy for MCZ, as LCB is under direct control and security of MCZ for deal making, get to know us, etc. I suspect some INDIE game support/development contracts to be achieved, as EU game developers are very good and creative.
MOJO news and EGX results (some) summed up next week, in Oct?
I am thinking not much more about MCZ MOJO specs will be offered to us.
MCZ goes down in price until then, or holds roughly its own current level (w/o news).
Anyone have any ideas what MCZ will use to finance MOJO production and distribution and PR Blitz?
I have sold out of ZAAP, until I see some EVs selling in BRICs (Brazil market, etc.). ZAAP is really 'cagey' about Zipper 3-wheel truck sales in USA (numbers/year please). If Pb lead battery power packs are so cheap, but shorter range than Li-ion, why no pro-typing with carbon electrode pole replacement in Pb battery EV packs, or anyone changing to Pb Gel-Circle sheet plate batts?
ZAAP has old-school management vista.
Can't even figure out how to automate EV production design.
This is not rocket science, lots of tech and college level graduates with experience and will work for reduced wages, etc.
Follow Tesla battery/EV strategy and hand-built (if necessary) and get some EVs out there!
Why are not the USA company executives driving around in their EVs?
This shows they are less than capable of marketing used cars on a corner lot, on a back street. No conviction for tech they wish to sell to retail investors. Do GM executives drive around Fords?
where is accounting entry for R&D each quarter?
Just advertising, legal fees, management salaries, and building rent?
Ever wonder why no one in USA loans them money (retail investors just give it to them)?
I liked your oil price trade off of comment.
Very insightful. Couple that with Pinkie promo paid advertising association to oil price hikes, and 'trade-able'.
IF MOJO comes with processor chip speeds of 1.3 (or better) . . . we is IN.
1.9 is what latest Sam Sung cellphone has. Chinese . . . say 1.7 best currently. Wonder about latest AMD chips . . . they are in new Xbox and PS4.
I do not know if we have to match AMD processor speed, that's asking a lot for less than say $200 retail MOJO. I am just plain guessing the retail price point. We know its over $100. Anyone else?
Yeah . . . I had to go food shopping.
It was up .08 when I got on for my 2n buy . . . I still think I will do OK.
Very soon will have some more.
Should climb say to 1.20 and then turn around down to .90s (to pay some salaries and perks). Or, it just keeps going up, as new folks notice it.
Would Midnight City offer MCZ shares at lower price, to any of IGDs, in exchange barter for part of the % of sales
off their SW?
The way this stock keeps gong up . . . that might not be a bad mutual deal.
I am thinking this Midnight City IGD help model might work out really swell for us retail investors.
If MCZ does well this holiday season (and into 2 first quarters of 2014), it is positioning for partner/takeover status. Lets see how the likes of EA does with its new game versions, chatter is EA game-ers are not pleased with new Slim City and Madden versions on their old platforms. This type of new platform upgrading (wherein new games do not play all their new features . . . means poor players will be stuck unable to buy new MSFT and SONY platforms). Will the low-end monied players move on over and look at MOJO (for its novel platform capabilities and lower cost, as desirable alternative platform 'happiness achievement')? This might be a factor in MCZ stock pricing, this holiday season. MCZ keeps expanding features and chilp speed of MOJO and the new controller, and even parents might be using it to satisfy dropping cable and getting mobile advantages in the mix. With web surfing and email capabilities made available on MOJO . . . that's something family folks and adult players are going to be looking at as cost effective? Lets see how this all plays out. It was 'Fun, Fun, Fun . . . until Daddy and took over the MOJO!' . . . and Mommy started coupon collecting.
It will be cool if MOJO USB supports printers (and I think the Japan Fair Video mentioned that off-handed-ly).
Regardless of what general stock market and economy do, MOJO pay-for-free your owned games and android store SW mobile and on big screen TV, bodes well for further MCZ stock price climb. Lets say we get +$1 in OCT, and +$2 during Dec? May be lots of 'stay-cation sentiment' this holiday season and that is favorable scenario for gamer-s and players. That's my bet. I will be buying more MCZ very soon.
I would guessimate we go up .10-.15 or down .10-20.
Price channel is upward right now . . . and has crossed 50/200MAs.
Daily volume rsing above normal daily volume.
Fun times in Gamer High coming.
Reading on a message board (was it wired.com?), there was slightly more than 65% of the more gamer industry folks, were negative on MOJO as coming from MCZ. Some spoke of MCZ product quality issues history. Their comments may be colored by associations with investment positions and that they might be employees of competitor devices. There were some good challenges to those speaking against MCZ and MOJO.
Walked in to local Hastings, which does carry retail MCZ products.
The manager I talked to had no knowledge of MOJO. I explained some about it and he appeared interested and said he would check it out. Retail at Hastings (which has large section of retail gamer stuff), MCZ PS3 wireless controller was going for $14.99. Competitor's stuff was $5 more.
Hope MCZ is planning some big PRs for MOJO and their new controller.
I am still very positive on MCZ MOJO this holiday season (and our investment potential). I just report it as I find it.
As far as the magazine ad/article coverage MCZ gets, I suspect the online videos of Gamer Conference visits by MCZ, lead to interviews by attending magazine staff. Nice double hit, for effective PR potential.
Anyone have any projections on MOJO sales, as a rudimentary low-cost alternative challenger to new PS and Xbon buys? If MCZ gets to upgrade on-board operating system chips (higher speed as MCZ manager alluded to, in Japan interview), it just gets better and better. One jacks in a memory stick or higher capacity portable drive storage and this can get interesting. MOJO is powered by 2 batteries and will have over 70 hours of portable use time.
Here is an idea for MCZ, why not an add-on or upgrade chip processor speed set, can be ordered installed at manufacturer? Or, what about a battery time expander box, that carried in your backpack or on your belt, etc.? F
Wondering if one can add WiFi range booster gain antenna on to MOJO?
Open source . . . is open source, right?
Maybe the stock price will have more to do with filling the 'shelf' with free money, as we have not broke much above $3.50, this bubble run-up.
Doubtful MGM would like someone else coming in on its alliance with GLUU, for its games.
How much will GLUU make on Deer Hunter . . . several millions at most over 1-2 years of play mobile? Or, are you folks looking for more $$s revs, as new platforms comes into use (new XBox and PlayStation downloads)?
Will Deer Hunter revs be expansed much by open access platforms strategy of MCZ MoJo mobile access device, and its Wifi mouse controller that plugs into your phone/'tablet/laptop? Not trying to sell you MCZ, just asking about its inclusion in new platforms arriving this holiday season.
Cool seems to have money sources on the side (can't prove it, but Goldfinger mamagement /involvement is possible evidence of it, to me). To me, it would not be end of world for this stock and company if delisted (but I would not like it to happen). Online gambling/gaming by credit cards is the link scenario (in NV USA, internationally online now via EU prescence and possibility for revs from roughly 27 states currently that allow online play with device ads and point coupon wins and offers). I can't say you are not right about potential R/Split issue, though lets see how this stock plays out through holidays and first quarters of 2014? I took the bet.
At this time, COOL is not a major part of my investing strategy.
Obviously, large casinos and USA individual state online plans are in pole
position in online future for paid gambling/gaming . . . yet COOL could be vehicle set-up for potential acquisition if it starts to succeed with its business model? All above it basically unproven, but why I started investing in COOL. Stock investing is part logic, part dream scenario, and part plain casino gambling odds betting. Will COOL get 'knocked off' by likes of EA, IGT, etc., or will it get bot out? At this stage of online SW platforms availability, we shall sit back and see what transpires? 'Hope-ium' is human life condition and addiction?
Try not to invest enough in anything that a lose would get you 'burned out'.
100% stock up-price in 6 months might not be possible.
Steady growth might be more realistic. Congress, administration and states will be hungry very soon for more revenues sourcing. Without investments by 1% and overseas $Trillions in off-shored profits coming back to USA . . . few new rev possibilities out there. Stay-cations (at home online gaming/gambling) is another factor, as recovery cannot happen with present monetary restrictions on USA smaller businesses . . . sounds like COOL potential to me.
I did already see that review and it helped decide my initial purchase of COOL. I also am very recent COOL investor.
It will be interesting to se how MCZ MOJO and their new mobile game controller that attaches to your phone, etc. will drive COOL products use thereof.
Online paid gaming/gambling is going to be big new area of investing and profits and government tax revenues. Waiting for eventual (perhaps soon) of personal credit card OK from government (with credit card companies and banks approval and support). Just like it was before Mr. Bush ended it some years ago. I suspect some federal and state standards or banks will front their own platform standards for use of credit cards amount limits, for this purpose. I have known of several cases wherein folks have gone way overboard way gambling 'fever'.
This limiting of gambling amount/month will somehow play into stocks like COOL, etc. Even NV is setting limits and asking for things like age limits and monies set-asides for gambling addiction therapy. Just another aspect of investing in this sector. Most investors could care less, yet it has its influence on direction and strength of online gaming/gambling laws.
My mistake, I was walk-in to Wall Mart Store and did not think to ask about online.
Glad to hear that.
Thanks for info.
Guess we get slow climb in stock price now.
Checked out local Wall Mart, they had no MCZ devices.
The electronics guy sounded really interested in MOJO personally.
I will be checking some other stores also, to see if anyone sells Mad Catz stuff retail.
Housepainter, what do you suppose COOL has in mind to capitalize some revs on these freebie (for now) games on tablets, laptops, and phones? these will all be android SW right . . . and is there a way to track them over to Apple and MSFT SW platforms?
Wondering how Midnight City plans to outreach to Indie game writers?
College/tech school/high school newspapers or doing it through paper media ads?
Just to use Twitter and Facebook random ads or will buy gamer's lists, to ad to?
Would COOL hire people to hand out at sporting events, and perhaps advertise as freebie-try coupons with food joints, e.g. pizza? Or community newspapers (some are free).
There is also the potential for some (if not all) of the games to be educational and useful in medical rehab. Military bases also.
Midnight City is akin somewhat to crowd-funding but we shareholders pay the bill. Should be lots of old programmers out there (and newbies), that would love to make some money and fame redoing their ideas for mobile.
Midnight City might just be very big for COOL investors, if it can truly capitalize on helping get small time writer/SW types together at conferences and conventions based online and regional physical meets.
THQI in its last dyling months, tried to get old-time video game writers to re-write for mobile use. Never heard anymore about that.
Midnight City is a real way around the 'me-first-ism . . . I wrote this!'
self-centered focus on each SW game house conceit: which equals 'it wasn't made here, we don't do outside ideas! Have a Nlice Day!' sort of thing.
In the late 1990s and early 2000s, the small SW houses got picked-off one-by-one, as they couldn't work together to source a common budget for R&D facilities. Now days, we have the internet to foster common SW/writing and large retailers and large game houses cannot control the access to the internet sales market (I hope).
I missed the drop today to lower .50s by COOL.
Lets see how the rest of the week plays out.
Looking like insiders made their 'paycheck' stock options on our dime.
Maybe more to come? If so, I am buying down.
I surmise AMD is one of the USA 'backups' if anything goes wrong with INTC super micro-chips coming out (not expecting it . . . just game thinking).
AMD partner/buyout possible also . . . just some stuff that help pull me into AMD: that and two major play platform chip provider due out holiday season.
Easy 50% 'ride-the-bubble wave' trade herein, me thunks. I am not a chip rocket scientist, but I visualize potentials herein.
This is what convinced me to buy MCZ, as I expect much more upside to this stock. I have invited investorhub board users from ATIG (presently defunct status), to come on over and also check out MCZ. These videos showed me what MCZ really has done and offers . . . like that company is out there active and presenting its product!
I am here primarily for the potential for home use and mobile use of MOJO and the new controller, for eventual online free and paid access to gaming/gambling capabilities. MCZ is leading force (right now) that many other companies will be looking at: protype already done and in production and heading for holiday shelves and customers.
I am guessing the dual package pricing should be around $150-$225 this coming season. Anyone else care to guess-ta-mate
MOJO (as per video) even offers an office suite capability (from Android store?), and maybe even mobile online acess to stock trading possibilities?
Gamers will be establishing the MOJO experience set for online gambling.
One should be quite able to free play gambling sites with it, for now.
IGT and EA and MSFT and others just might walk over and check it out.
Forget patent wars . . . we already got it out and patent pending lead status position. Thus, in court . . . MCZ has the high ground for positive settlements.
ATIG looks finished, it appears headed for silent death in the shadows of time and memory.
I switched to COOL and GLUU as the bet on online gambling model.
Both have experienced partners, active SW models, and cash. Also, MCZ for its MOJO universal mobile multiple device hookup, big screen home TV use and other improvements for gamers (and eventually gamblers home and mobile potential also).
Folks check them out and come on over to these boards.
I can't play the high priced stocks right now . . . my bet is on these three.
They are much better capitalized and organized stock entities.
Know of any others?
Enjoyed the ATIG board, while it was active.
Thank you investorshub for providing it.
Have established my first small position in COOL. More to follow.
Bring it up, bring it down. This is a fine odds casino bet in the player's favor. Can't believe more folks do not see it.
I gauge $3 dollars minimum by 2016, if it builds right.
EU/world/USA online gambling/gaming for pay and Mid Night City novel SW strategy, were compelling points in my decision to get in this stock. Also, potential deals from upgraded management alliance, show COOL has the right stuff.
If any shorts have influence herein, please to bring it down some more for me?
COOL business plan is successful, and other larger players will look it over.
I would say bullish.
Or, a counter position to a short for unforeseen issues with XBOX, etc. chips in use? I am taking the bet their are no chip issues and we are Delta GO!
MSFT can't afford any more false starts. Millions of gamers have dipped into their savings and coughed up the $$s for X Boxes. Who would have thought.
X box should have good enough electronics for military use and training scenarios.
AMD should be slipped some gov contracts in 2014?
In dangerous times . . . keep your native USA tech companies and design teams intact.
