I see 3 options:

Hidden (for now) partnership already established (think EA, China telecom/game company seeking easy way to enter USA market via buy of MCZ stock and getting a place or two on the MCZ board), or someone like MAT starting to think . . . wow . . . kids do a lot of WIFI gaming . . . lets experiment and put some MAT quality symbols on it . . . for a couple of $10s of millions . . . we get Midnight City IGDs and our MAT team joins with MCZ team to barbie them up!
Barbie Drive Wheel for example. Pink and all . . . Da!

Option 2: MCZ funds internally through holiday and 2014 sales profits.

Option 3: MCZ floats some stock, maybe with warrants.

which shall we see beyond 2013?

Wild Card in all this: hacker IGame Developers may feel much more confident that they will get a fair review of their creativity from Midnight City.
Midnight City could be big yet unknown financing tool for MCZ IF MCZ tried a crowd funding online approach with a IGD?
