It's a moving target and tricky to hit
I expect its trajectory and speed to change rapidly once it is launched. It should triple right away and then stall and bobble before resuming its flight whether skyward or back to earth
It is at this point that a decision as to a reasonable target price might be conjured.
But to put a number on a chimera I would say temporarly three dollars after a successfully promoted launch but maintaining a cautious holding position while awaiting the next indication of direction.
Keeping in mind that eventually Capstone will be a disaster.
Friday slapped the faces of the Capstoned!
Lowest volume of trades in many months coupled with a gain of almost half of a whole penny.
Are people becoming more aware of the design deficiencies in Capstone's "clunk of glass"? Are they wondering how often and for what they really need to cast something via a hackable wireless connection rather than just transferring it via a secure USB connection using presently available software?
Let's see; folks feel insecure using a tablet type device that has a camera and microphone, both of which can simply be turned off, or for for the truly paranoid, a tad of tape over either or both and Voilà!
But they feel more secure sending photos and data over the airwaves to a device ten feet away but vulnerable for thousands of miles?
No skin off my nose because I'm still planning to profit from my Capstone shares by using the P. T. Barnum effect coming soon to a ticker tape near you
.
JT, Rather than depend on probabilities
Please give us some firm data as to number of shares presently held and/or sold/brokered by LittleBanc.
Frankly the premise that these people are presently so actively engaged in shooting themselves in the foot needs amplification.
Mike, furnish the message number(s) of your reply!!!
Like others here I am interested in concrete information on Capstone and I can assure you that though I follow all posts on CAPC I too am unable to find where you have answered the question.
No need to go into detail - just identify your on-topic posts by message number that contained the requested information and we can all participate in a meaningful discussion of CAPC.
Excellent questions Stockpicker!
Good luck in getting a reply from Aimee and please share it with us if that should occur.
Yep, that was history!
What products are in those outlets today?
Estimates are a fools errand pending product reliability.
Capstone has a history of products which failed the test of marketability based on poor ergonomics and shows every indication of continuing the trend.
And JT I agree with your premise
expressed in an earlier post as well as the current one that "when increased consistent volume does occur, the share price quickly jumps drastically"!
The key word is "consistent" which so far has been so badly treated by the traders in CAPC.
The mirror concept IMO is a disaster and will ultimately destroy Capstone but that's a topic for another discussion.
However an announcement of real sales could and will will at least for a reasonable time boost the pps sharply. Personally I plan on profiting from this phenomenon by selling my existing shares at a nice profit before running, not walking, to the nearest exit point.
I hope you will join me as we fade into the sunset counting our realized gains!
For openers JT, you might check Short Interest.
I believe you will find that previous posters that propounded squeezing Capstone shorts were forced to watch those sane shorts walklk away with nice profit.
The stock has suffered badly because of the actions of a few unscrupulous individuals who artificially ran the pps skyward but were unable to maintain the fake increase because of managements continuing incompetence.
Todays PR probably caused some to wonder
if Capstone which allowed such a ridiculous, if screamingly funny, PR should even be allowed to represent themselves as a viable stock.
Two of my favorite outtakes among many were:
"This mannequin is good for hanging round the home in locations reminiscent of an entryway, kitchen, or behind an arrogance."
Sounds like some kind of mean blowup doll?
"After establishing the mirror, merely plug it into an influence outlet, connect with Wi-Fi, and select the way you wish to work together with it—you then’re able to race." (And they are definitely off to those races?)
No wonder todays rather whiny conference call could not offset this darkly funny blunderfest.
Does Capstone even read their own press releases
before dumping them on the more erudite public? This latest embarrassing piece of "Chinenglish" shows a continuing lack of Corporate control over communications with others, probably including government agencies.
Now dash right out and order your "16 kilo mannequin" because maybe by next Monday they will have received bona-fide approval.
Wallach is a sad managerial joke but at least he gives you the opportunity to see his, and his staff, confirm the fact before wasting funds on either the clunky "mirror" or the stock.
Or perhaps I should say "Christmas Mirrocle"?
After all, Capstone has failed to sell a single mirror.
Well that would certainly be a Christmas Miracle.
Good Grief!
Flp any ergonomic critique of the poor "mirror"
Shows why that trend will continue.
Considering what Stewart did or didn't pay
for those many shares he has magically accumulated, he is still in a much better position laugh it off when compared to those poor souls looking in disbelief at their present potential real money losses.
Anyone who still innocently believed that the sudden miraculous February CAPC price breakout, despite any lack of causative news or performance, was anything but blatant, illegal manipulation should review the posts on this and other stock discussion boards at that time. The "fix" is both odious and obvious!
Great Post Cayce, actually deserves a LMAO!
Well in view of the precipitous fall
to this level it certainly seem some have had no trouble in getting shed of shares over the past six months.
Perhaps they are as tired. as many of are are, of the repeated lack of news and realistic delivery dates. "Soon" just don't cut it.
What do you consider "serious sellers"'?
Today Capsised took on more cold water as it SANK to a six month low of 0.8305
One might wonder if earlier approval wasn't possible
weeks, months, even years ago if after less years of stumbling Capstone had just been able to put in an informative professional request for such approval?
The post related to the on-topic discussion
of whether or not the poor CAPSTONE device, handicapped by CAPSTONE's failure to include voice control, is really very "smart"?
While the concept of connected devices and the devices themselves currently demand much well deserved ink, it is folly to believe simply trying to fit poorly conceptualized examples such as the CAPSTONE Mirror into some catchall of shared economic sustainability and economic feasibility will mitigate individual design flaws.
Mike that post did make me LMAO!
(As juvenile as I find that euphemistic initialism to be)
Yes, I could easily call you while standing in front of my very large well lighted bathroom mirror by simply saying "Google call (your phone number) to the $25 Google Mini, occupying about the space of a woman's compact, sitting unobtrusively on a corner of the bathroom counter.
Twenty-five dollars vs Eight Hundred Dollars for the CAPSTONE device, yep I simply must LMAO!
But In truth, I do not have a "mini" in my bathrooms nor do I want one there but I do have one right next to it in the bedroom used every day while dressing. I also have one in the den, the kitchen, the gym and an extra presently with no designated location. And I can easily "cast" data or conversation from one to another, no smart phone required and no subscription or other fees. You could do the same.
But please remember this post is about the CAPSTONE device and its difficulty in standing comparison to other smart devices! I am using my own experience only for comparison.
While millions may be jonesing for a smart mirror
They want one that works easily and seamlessly within their present technological environment and not some poorly designed and technically deficient wannabee.
Luckily these is a surge in availability of such devices, many from established, well known manufacturers.
I'm afraid the article fails dramatically to include the Capstone attempt in the latter category
But given their weight Capstone mirrors may be adaptable as small boat anchors.
LMAO
No it is NOT good for news for Capstone!
It points out one of the major deficiencies that is an elephant in the Capstone room, and just as difficult to conceal.
Not being able to voice control Capstone's version without physically approaching and touching it further reduces the usefulness of this attempt at avant-garde technology.
Of course, someone could crank up another device, contact the mirror, type in or speak a commend, send it, and bingo, finally.
Many other companies mirror products seem to avoid this by using the imbedded voice control.
My discussion is about THE CAPSTONE DEVICE!!!
The underlying technology is fine but, It is the application thereof in the clumsy CAPSTONE device that is under discussion.
I can confer with my connected devices by voice commands almost anywhere in my house while Capstoneds would be tethered to a "dumb" CAPSTONE wall-hanging widget?
BTW I have no interest in what a Connor MGREGOR is nor do I care what peccadillos he might perform in front of some hotel mirror.
However, since this appears to have something to do with the discussion, please help us all understand the connection!
The simple question for you: Is the "MGREGOR" mirror a Capstone Companies product?
Once again, My discussion is about THE CAPSTONE DEVICE!!!
Alas Mike -
The other products you mentioned are utilitarian and therefore marketable unlike a clunky wall-bound chunk of glass that does nothing very exciting except hide a perfectly good tablet just as useful anywhere else.
Watch for the coming Tsunami of returns when the new age Capstoned kids find that they bit into the hype but tasted no substance.
The Capstone Mirror project is definitely flawed. Why would anyone want to spend time staring at a wall that has a mirror with a tablet dimly shining through a small section? How is this superior to simply sitting in front of a regular computer with nice large reflection-free monitors(s)? And again. do you really want to be tied to a wall when you could use a voice controlled tablet portable from room to room?
Not all of the different "Magic Mirrors" made by various manufacturers are flawed because they, unlike Capstone's, at least are generally designed so that the mirror component and the electronic component compliment each other.
And the price for the Capstone attempt ..... Good Grief!
I use multiple inexpensive wireless devices throughout the house to listen to the vast quantity of material you can find on Google. Stock reports, weather reports, local traffic reports, news reports music, and hundreds of other resource. They are interconnected so I can also "cast" any one to any other allowing me to hear them as I move about the house. Oh yeah, I can also control all my "smart" lights, thermostats, appliances and other "connected devices" with my voice. I have four of these presently, each about the size of a hockey puck and you can buy them right this minute for $25 each with no additional fees or subscription charge's
But this post is about the Capstone mirror and its questionable viability !
I do suggest folks carefully consider the intrinsic value of this overhyped Capstone product and check the alternatives before blowing the better part of a thousand greenies.!
It appears there is news out (the 10Q) but Aimee and her brilliant friends have screwed it up and it won't open.
Go CAPC! and take Aimee with you
But isn't it paradoxical "U" that February jump
in pps occurred without news of any kind?
I still believe that we are correct and that CAPC is a news driven stock when without the influence of manipulation.
BTW - another apothegm for your excellent phrase is:
"Never marry a stock!"
I agree Uranium, Still expect a price rise
When they finally show some product sales although I still consider the Capstone mirror an abomination.
So let me borrow a fine saying from you:
WOW! Down 12 on active trading today alone
We need some good news quick because we are looking at a miserable 10Q on Monday.
Quick action is required to avoid this week ending in a terrible rout.
Man the Pumps!
CAPC sells outpaced buys by 8:1 today.
Mike, the problem is that while the Smart Mirror concept may be lucrative for those companies with Marketing acumen (as opposed to Sales) it does not change the fact that calling a pane of half-reflective glass over a common present day tablet a lucrative technical innovation is laughable.
Other companies presently marketing Smart Mirrors have incorporated a marriage of two devices in a synergistic fashion in that the
resultant utility is greater than the apparent sum of the parts standing alone!
Yes Mike, they apparently left a dying but still viable LED product line to embrace a new potential market wherein they had no experience but apparently great hopes.
Please study the upcoming 10Q to see how that has worked so far. While some may swallow the excuses, others may note that competitors are reporting profits extending back two quarters on their Mirror products despite the pandemic.
I also expect a surge in CAPC price when they finally run out of excuses and market the latest and greatest iteration. I expect to profit from it by selling out before the cookie crumples. I will also continue to urge others to exhibit extreme caution in dealing with this "investment"!
Unfortunately, The exception that proved the rule?
Mike, do you realize this one important fact?
The watch had a useful, utilitarian function as well as being innovative!
I believe Mike, and what others are coming to believe
is that putting an unnecessary. large heavy mirror in front of a rather
mundane garden variety portable tablet and thus rendering both less than the sum of the whole in usefulness is a paean to the ridiculous.
So perhaps what happens Monday or whenever they actually sell a mirror or two is irrelevant when compared to the crowd ultimately screaming that this was a poorly thought out attempt to recover after the failure of the bathroom mirror concept ballyhoo.
.
But hey, who wouldn't want one of these clunkers in their living or perhaps outhouse, after all, what could possibly go wrony go wrong?
That's an interesting potential simile "U"
There is one major existent dissimilarity between the two scenarios:
Volume.......which ran several times higher Friday than the earlier example.
So will this be a recovery repeat or a continued decline? Well we don't have long to wait - Monday should tell the tale.
And, as we wait for news we'll continue living in interesting times, ne cest pa?
Uranium, you raised a good point!
Too many ignore the VWAP when pointing out trades, especially those tiny last second trades designed to screw with the overall picture of the day's more major trades.
I do not feel that the devastating trading today had anything to do with MM's. That would require a real stretch for a rather shaky conspiracy theory.
A word from Wallach could definitely shine some light as to what is happening with the but he continues to be both deaf and dumb.
I'll "ditto that" Uranium
Don't know Uranium, there were several trades today
of around 1000 shares each that traded a few seconds apart and formed obvious total trades in the 3000 share range. Somebody hiding larger overall buying to keep from spiking the price?
Interesting trades seconds after the bell
3200 shares were bought at the ask of 1.26 - !.27.
