The Capstone Mirror project is definitely flawed. Why would anyone want to spend time staring at a wall that has a mirror with a tablet dimly shining through a small section? How is this superior to simply sitting in front of a regular computer with nice large reflection-free monitors(s)? And again. do you really want to be tied to a wall when you could use a voice controlled tablet portable from room to room?

Not all of the different "Magic Mirrors" made by various manufacturers are flawed because they, unlike Capstone's, at least are generally designed so that the mirror component and the electronic component compliment each other.

And the price for the Capstone attempt ..... Good Grief!

I use multiple inexpensive wireless devices throughout the house to listen to the vast quantity of material you can find on Google. Stock reports, weather reports, local traffic reports, news reports music, and hundreds of other resource. They are interconnected so I can also "cast" any one to any other allowing me to hear them as I move about the house. Oh yeah, I can also control all my "smart" lights, thermostats, appliances and other "connected devices" with my voice. I have four of these presently, each about the size of a hockey puck and you can buy them right this minute for $25 each with no additional fees or subscription charge's

But this post is about the Capstone mirror and its questionable viability !

I do suggest folks carefully consider the intrinsic value of this overhyped Capstone product and check the alternatives before blowing the better part of a thousand greenies.!
