Just recently signed up for Uber to learn that they are using 2FOOBA
Uh, no I haven't unless you're now a bear.
Had 3.9 and now have 4.9 as posted earlier.
I'm now at 4.9 mil
Agreed. If we are fortunate to get bought out at some point, I believe Kay wants it to be at the next level by one of the well known titans (google, apple, yahoo, etc.), but only if these 3 suits settle in our favor with a collective return in 9 figures along with them needing to lock down a couple of big ProtectID enterprise deals. This will send their credibility through the roof and officially put them on the map. And make no mistake about it, IMO I believe this industry is well aware of who SFOR is and they are closely following the outcome of these 3 current suits.
I'm patient as this is a long term hold for me anyway. In the meantime, I will continue to smile knowing that one of the best patent firms on the planet took these suits on contingency.
Will do. Thanks.
Tjx2, I'm in the camp that wants this to do well. However, if you're going to say Toby answered the question yesterday, then I have to ask the manner in which he answered it. Was it via an email reply to you? It that's the case, then please post it here as you recently did with Joe's emails. Otherwise, saying Toby answered a question means absolutely nothing to this board.
The key word in that quote, albeit small, is and. If it were to say "..., the Company has licensed the patents to Microsoft Corporation, from which the Company will receive a non-disclosable one-time lump sum payment. ", then that would be crystal clear to everyone - a one-time payment and nothing else moving forward. I'd like to think SFOR wouldn't license their patents for free. Time will tell.
Valid concerns, Ester and it all boils down to how each person on here deciphers the sequence of events that have gotten us here. My take on it is this:
1) The first lawsuit was not taken on with contingency and during this timeframe, SFOR barely had any money to stay afloat and unfortunately had to take on toxic debt which led to a R/S last summer. The positive I took from this event was that they were still willing to protect their IP at all costs.
2) From the settlement 8K in January of this year...
ITEM 8.01. OTHER EVENTS
On March 28, 2013, the Company initiated patent litigation against PhoneFactor, Inc., a subsidiary of Microsoft Corporation, for alleged infringement of United States Patent No. 7,870,599 (the "'599 Patent"). The Company filed a separate action against Microsoft Corporation based on its alleged infringement of the '599 Patent and two additional patents for out-of-band user authentication (U.S. Patent Nos.: 8,484,698 & 8,713,701). Both actions were filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. On January 15, 2016, the litigation was settled and the parties executed a settlement agreement in the form of a Release and License Agreement. The terms and conditions of the Release and License Agreement are confidential except under limited conditions. As a consequence of the Release and License Agreement, the parties have moved to dismiss the action with prejudice, the Company has licensed the patents to Microsoft Corporation, and the Company will receive a non-disclosable one-time lump sum payment.
What I have highlighted in bold is what I and many hear believe to be possibly tied to Azure Cloud. Please keep in mind it wasn't until recently that Microsoft reported the huge earnings and Azure was the driver behind that. SFOR Q3 or Q4 could paint that picture for us along with a recent George Waller video where he references ties to Microsoft and Intel.
IMO, SFOR didn't exactly have the monetary leverage at that time time to collect a bigger settlement than the one they received. The good news from this though was the patents indeed proved to be valuable because of who we settled with, SFOR was able to pay off all toxic debt and start managing the company the right way.
3)This is where I have to steal your line in regards to the strength of their patents. I have to ask the question why on God's green earth would an elite patent law firm, Blank Rome, take on 3 new cases at the same time on a contingency basis going after 3 pretty big companies, one of which we know to be worth $780 million if you ask Singapore Telecom? The Microsoft settlement proved the patents credible and Blank Rome obviously foresees a serious upcoming payday from these 3 suits and many others to follow.
This is just how I view the situation here. I am not a pro stock trader - not my day job. This is simply a hobby for me with extra money in hopes that I and the rest of us have purchased the winning lotto ticket. I've stated before, I believe that will be the case in about 24 months.
GLTY
Look, while we all get a nice laugh from all of your posts, if you're gonna start putting up stats, at least be accurate.
It's $10 per case, not per bottle.
Don't worry, rkrk. You'll have plenty of buying opportunity at 1 in a few weeks. These guys love flooding the newswire with fluff PR's. Getting awful close to that A/S and we all know what that means.
GLTY
Appreciate your service, 234. Without you, we can't do what we do.
You still in this?
You are spot on, Doc. The gamble here is whether or not this will R/S in the future. If it doesn't, a lot of bag holders will have big sh%t-eating grins a year from now.
GLTY Sir
I hope you're in my camp thinking about what this can be down the road long term versus what this is short term.
2 words - Blank Rome!
GLTY Sir
Except a buyback won't even be considered until after either:
A) the 3 settlements occur and the results are collectively in the 9 figure range and/or
B) a major deal is struck with one or more heavy hitters which result in revenues pushing the 9 figure range.
At this point in time here, patience is key.
I've posted this before. My gut feeling is this will be a major player in close to 24 months. I have time since this is not my day job. This is the needle in the OTC crapstack. The potential value of the ProtectID patents simply can't be ignored.
GLTY
Stat of the Day (almost 10bil O/S).
In 2-3 weeks when the mj hype has died down, this POS will be back to trip 1. I've never seen a stock pump this many fluff PR's. LMAO.
For those who bought on at 1, congrats on your 400% profit because it won't be around much longer in the short term.
GLTA
You da man, vette. Appreciate your contributions to this board and this stock.
GLTY
Hundreds of Millions on the O/S is a bargain at this PPS compared to other stinkies. Until something changes, the O/S is all that matters, not the A/S.
Look, I'm realistic. I was had by everything that went down here along with many others. Having said that, this thing ran hard once before on zero news. If the O/S is what you claim it to be, what's to stop this thing from popping again? Highly unlikey, but right now for me, it doesn't make sense for me to dump my remaining million shares for a measly $300 minus commissions as this is not how I make my living.
GLTA
I'm not worried. I'm in at an average of .0009 and know the potential of these patents. I'm just curious what the answer may be coming from someone asking it to him face to face is all. I just hope Tuesday's Q is uplifting (despite what he said in the video) otherwise the SHM may not be too pleasant. I look forward to hearing back from people on here who will attend.
GLTY
If anyone here is planning on attending the SHM, could someone kindly ask them why they decided to make the video in the first place? I'd be very curious to hear the answer.
I still believe these settlements will come in sooner rather than later and they will be collectively huge. Please remember everyone that they are using arguably the best lawyers in the business (on contingency, mind you) when it comes to patent lawsuits.
The ProtectID patents are still GOLD
Since you've stated you received email from him, please share.
We're waiting. TIA
Amen to that, brother
GuardedID is the key stroke encryption software sold retail to regular joe blows like you and I. ProtectID is the enterprise solution that's being allegedly infringed upon and hopefully found in our (SFOR) favor.
Pretty sure you meant to say ProtectID
And I agree with you about 98% of the time, it's not a good idea. But I haven't seen a stock down here like this one. One that holds the IP for what is obviously the new way of doing things when it comes to protecting important information. Just ask PhoneFactor/Microsoft, DUO, Trustwave/SingTel, and Centrify.
I'm also not a day trader, so I understand why those that are and are playing down here in this realm are quick to take profits and move on.
I am quite happy with position getting in at an average of 0009 and I believe I will be a lot happier 2 years from now.
Good luck to you and everyone else no matter how they decide to play this one.
I agree with that and I have said on here before that as much as I love this drink and how it helps me perform and recover, the one thing I wish would be different is the substitution of sucralose for a natural sweetener. It doesn't look like sucralose is going away anytime soon though. The majority of people add it in their coffee or iced tea.
I think everyone knows the main reason Gatorade is king is because it is the best tasting sports drink out there if you ask the majority of folks, but there is a reason for that - it's laced with sugar and other bad ingredients. It simply is not good for you long term. And as a parent, it pains me to see ignorant parents feeding their young ones this stuff when the majority of the time the kids are drinking it while not even doing anything active. Sad, but that drink is a long term health scare, IMHO. I give my kids Aspire, but again, they only drink it during their sporting events. I believe they are still a little too young at this time for HPB.
As for what HPB does for you before, during, and after any type of workout, I say from experience it blows Gatorade out of the water and that is why I am here.
41 cases left on Amazon. Might anyone know how many cases were delivered in the most recent shipment to Amazon? Thanks.
As much as it pains me to see it, I have to agree with you
I'm in your camp from that aspect as well. I am in no hurry. I have an educated guess as to the time line of a potential buyout and I'm hoping it's in the 18-24 month range. My reasoning is based on IF these 3 cases do in fact settle in November. That would put an average round of lawsuits in the 6-8 time frame. 3 rounds of lawsuits later at 3-5 defendants per round, and I believe all the true longs will have the same sh*t-eating grin on our collective faces. We shall see.
Unfortunately, speculation never rests.
Long on SFOR
It is my understanding that strikeforcecpg.com was implemented to only market to individuals which is why you don't see protectID on that particular site. As we all know, protectID is more for business enterprise usage.
Precisely, Diego. He has to provide what are known as stock answers to the majority of the questions asked. Does anyone really think he would tell us before the Q comes out that the revenues are either through the roof or that they lost their ass? Does anyone really think he's going to tell us in a video that they reached a settlement with the 3 defendants?
Bottom line is he has to respond generically on most items otherwise he'd be in deep you know what.
Not worried here at all.
smart investors have been here since the trips and are currently up 6 figures.
Good luck to you, Sir/Ma'am
None of this back and forth between pro and con matters anymore. In a month, this is a game changer!
SFOR
Not to mention he and his crew on the other side of the aisle over at G****ade have several drinks in their arsenal that contain the same thing.
with exception to cjs latest posts regarding rs....respectfully
Well, it's a good thing the CEO doesn't agree with you. The only share reduction the vast majority of us would like to see is a share buyback after these settlements.
SFOR long
And you as well. I love to roll the dice.
PD, I don't have PM. Appreciate the response.
With respect, with Trustwave being bought out for 700+ million who we are currently suing, unless Singpor Telecom offers a buyout of SFOR at 3-5X that amount, then I am not placing them in the titan category. That's how strongly I feel about these patents and this company.
