Mycroft,
"Biotech isnt for the faint of heart"
said you too me, well over 5 years ago. You were not kidding in the least.
This has been a long journey filled with ups and downs, but a effort very well worth the while.
Hope all is well with you Mycroft. Congrats.

Cohen-Milstein would not take losing case.
unless you know you can win. Do you honestly think Cohen-Milstein would take this case if they didnt think they could win? Do you realize how big the just the punitive/exemplary damage alone will be? Add in the compensatory damages and you are talking billions and billions of dollars. This may be settled long before it gets to trial.

I was going to take a break from posting but feel like I need to comment:
This will not take years, months, or even weeks to sort through the trades and time-stamps associated with these alleged fake AKA spoofing sell orders. It all can be matched very easily by experts and people with experience in this realm of electronic trading. How do I know? Lets just say I know, with 100% certainty. You dont file a lawsuit against the biggest MM, Citadel and 7 others, without mounds of proof to support your allegations. This isnt Judge Judy. I also suspect others will be dragged into this litigation as well. "Who was the trigger-man to get this water-fall event started? You need to also create the fear for this to work so well". This was mentioned to me 8 nights ago. Cohen-Milstein is no joke, and someone I know has a friend that works in Palm Beach Gardens location as a Staff Attorney.
I am done now. "Loose lips sink ships".

LBSR,
Lets just say the conversation surrounding NW Bio lasted just over 1 hour. He did most of the talking. I listened. When smart people open their mouths, it the best policy to have. The rest of the convo was the old UMASS days and Sorority girls playing tennis in nothing but g-strings. Much more interesting conversation when beers are flowing.
He has some friend who are very heavy hitters. If he doesnt have the answer, he can find it in pretty short order. At that level the connections are very, very deep. Its not wonder the stock-market is rigged against retail.
He ended the stock talk with this: “No matter how great the talent or efforts, some things just take time. You can’t produce a baby in one month by getting nine women pregnant.”
I knew he stole that quote but still enjoying seeing him say it. He has met W.B. several times and has some friends from Yale who live/work in Omaha for Berkshire...Buffet is and has been one of his idols for a very long time. But my friend likes to operate on the fringe of the financial markets and HUGE International real-estate deals. The Hedge Fund world suits his personality perfectly. If you met him you would most likely agree.
I am taking a break from posting for the foreseeable future....Holidays are here and its the only time I have to think about other things besides fires (75%) and the equity markets(25%). There are many other important things besides money. One of them is just being alive and enjoying what I already have...which is way more than I ever asked for or imagined 20 years ago.
Be kind, and Happy Holidays to you and yours, LBSR.

I dont know what option book you are looking at (fantasy?) but thats clearly not the case on Fidelity Active Trader.
Tons of open interest $14-15-16 and the biggest - 1702 @ $20. The rest of the book is light.

when someone you trust, and who has major experience in the related field you are asking question about, tells you to keep your mouth shut, you do it. Its as simple as that. I have zero inside information that isn't available outside the public realm, but others do, I am sure.

FDA released a Tissue Agnostic Drug Development FDA guidance doc
Motives matter. In life AND equity's investing.
I have been hearing the same stuff, over and over, going back to when this ticker was $1.25
If "something more" is being wrong 99% of the time, I will pass.

I have heard it was a legit scheduling conflict with Dr. LL and her patients.

The arbiters of science with deep pockets love DCVax.
hoff,
Got your DM. Can the dismissal of NWBO's PR Company be verified?
TIA
-Fireman
Yes....why get rid of the PR firm? Its no longer needed? Is this info verified, and if so by whom? A major BP Partner would request during negotiations any info on DCVax would be distributed by their people, not NWBO's? Probably. If this is 100% true, the cards are lining up. But need to see proof.
-Fireman
I just worry about these narratives metastasizing without an overwhelming counter offensive from the company
I stand by my statement that I personally think NW Bio is and has been inking some sort of deal. The quite period was never 100% about the JA. And the QP continues today, doesnt it? Confirms and validates my suspicion.
-Fireman
You infuse NW Bio with a bunch of cash from a BP partnership, and this ticker runs and runs hard. My only concern ever with this ticker is the lack of cash on hand. And until the day comes when they have $500M in the bank of non-dilutive funds, it will remain that way. I suspect some of these shares for sale is the company raising cash and dumping shares on the open market.
-Fireman
Understood. Without your explanation I already figured this was the case. Thanks for the reply.
-Fireman
Thermo: I appreciate your insight, but one thing you have not commented on is the probability of a BO or JV with BP. Are you limiting your comments on this subject for legal reasons? Its seem to me and others I know and trust, NW Bio is absolutely ripe for a BO. Although as trials get deeper, so do the negation's and the numbers get much steeper. I honestly believe there is more to this quite period than people think, but everyone has their own opinion. Yours?
-Fireman
I will.
Happy Thanksgiving!

price is always heading in the wrong direction, until it isnt.
I have been invested in over 200 different equites in the past 30 years and can tell you 75% of the time, with good news on the horizon, stocks plunge for no apparent reason, only to rally as we get closer to the said event whether that be a earnings announcement and even buy-outs. I watched it countless times with NVDA, DVN, TGAN, TSLA and many, many others.
Thanksgiving week is a favorite for short-sellers as buy-side volume is traditionally on the light side. For me, I added right at the EOD....nothing to see here. AVXL stock rallys, and rallys hard a couple days before 12/1. The phycology of this board paints the picture.
-Fireman
investor is skeptical to say the least tho.
Yup, and great for you Mr. Jammy. Its good to have friends, isnt it?
When it comes to investing, its the ones that are in the know, that count.
GL and Happy Thanksgiving.
-Fireman
No, my position in AVXL is hefty and feel I am well positioned for whats to come on 12/1.
-Fireman
If everyone hasn't noticed, the science is winning out since JAMA. Thats all that matters. AF has zero influence at the MHRA or FDA, and in the end, its these people who have say on what will be approved, and what will not. AF is just a distraction fo reality.
-Fireman
why would a Company be "hush, hush" about something so big?
There could be only one explanation, which is common in this space when dealing with Big vs. Little........
-Fireman
Ahhh yes. Its that time again. Too buy. Thought I had enough, but clearly not. Another 50k in the coffers.
It never ceases to amaze me at the market manipulation and narratives that get thrown around the biotech space amongst people that aren't even educated enough to pour piss out of a boot, with instructions written on the heel, but yet think they have enough intellect to write about biotech clinical trials. Man on man. This has gold-mine written all over it, and the market will eventually get it right, just as it always does.
-Fireman
Did I just purchases your shares? If so thank you.
Happy Thanksgiving.
-Fireman
I was a non-believer as well. But a friend of mine who is way more knowledgeable than me in the world of Hedge Funds and the Equity Markets is beginning to think there is a very large naked short position. He didnt throw out a number, but says its probable this is the case. As he stated yesterday - "A lot at stake here for the people who have fails to deliver on their menu".
-Fireman
I am beginning to believe that there truly is a sizeable naked short position in NW Bio, and I am not the only one: My friend, who is deeply involved with Hedge Funds and worked for Susquehanna for a number of years, is beginning to believe the same. He is in town for Thanksgiving, and wants to chat more on Wednesday night when we meet for drinks. I find it interesting that it was him that bought this issue up, not me, when I talked to him this morning when he was leaving Flagstaff to come home.

Regardless of what Ex says,
Those that held for 5 years were rewarded by plus 350% to today.
Mike,
In regards to Anavex: On 12/1 we all might get the best Xmas present ever. I have been with this Company since 2015 and we are nearing the end. You dont submit a late breaker to CTAD without good P3 Alz results. If they are great results, you are looking at $50+....maybe closer to $100 with a week or two. Lets not forget PDD and Rett data as well.
As far as intel is concerned, you can wear you welcome out pretty quickly with sources...friends or not. I try to do my own investing and digging but my friend knows I own NWBO and is now actively looking for intel for me without me even asking. Asking for too many things at once is never good. I am just grateful for the info I have received so far. Anything more is icing on the cake.
-Fireman
I think they can hire a pretty lean crew closer to approval,
If Linda Powers was offered $40 Billion tomorrow, the deal would be inked, signed and put in the mail within 1 hour of proposal.
-Fireman
Fireman, So the hiring is done by Advent for manufacturing, why does NWBO need to hire more generals or Marketers ?
The "lack of a ASM" is due to a quite period that is unrelated to the JA. Always has been, and knowing what I know now.......
;)
-Fireman
So please tell me why the total market for solid tumors is relevant if NWBO has not proven any efficiency outside any other indication other than GBM?
Yes, you are correct. But it is better than being 25% sure. Its the timing that the issue, according to "him". Not whether "it" will happen or not.
Disconnecting for a week or so. Good luck everyone, and Happy Thanksgiving!
-Fireman
Him " I see the Makers have a tight-grip on your stock after the announcement"
Me: " Yup, but why and how?".
Him: "On OTC, its very easy to do, but the trading action would indicate something much larger is on the horizon and they know it. It could be filling orders at a specified price of a client or doing Principal Trades from their own account. Remember, they were short the stock leading up to yesterday, I know this for a fact. If I had to guess this they are worried about a big fails to deliver event. Based off the heavy short sales they were betting the news wasn't going to come this week, but it did. Remember what I told you last night? I am 75% sure its going too happen".
End
-Fireman
Yes. Thats all I can say.
