OJ Simpson is innocent...
according to his attorneys.
If your attorneys don't believe in the merit of the case then you are in real trouble. It is their "job" to claim that the case has merit and that they believe you will win.
I do not believe the case has merit, but we shall see.

I think we need a new 3rd base coach.
Why are the bases loaded? The guy on 3rd should have been sent home and 2nd advanced to 3rd, if not home.
I get your point and just having fun.
Thanks for your reporting today.

As I am sure you know.
Rentech is not known for tooting their own horn, unless they have real news. For that reason, I am curious about the source of the pump that you received.
Not unlike the impact that Cramer can have, promotional emails can expose little Rentech to more people, but it doesn't always have great results.
Bucky
Gateway.
Who did you receive that email from?
I have not seen any promotion of that sort for RTK.
Thanks.

Rentech overview (additions on May 14, 2006, two days after Jim Cramer spoke about RTK on "Mad Money") [additions in bold]
Rentech and Advanced Clean Coal Technologies ... especially liquid fuels
....... These are views and opinions of a shareholder
....... It includes links to several presentations, articles and news releases
______________________________________________________________________
Foreword
Coal, via "Coal-to-Liquids" (CTL), can be chemically converted into ultraclean liquid fuels ...... up to two barrels per ton of coal .... at a cost of $35-$40 per barrel, well under current crude oil prices.
Those fuels, from a ton of coal, are worth $150 to $200. Excellent margins are possible.
Simultaneously, in a process called polygeneration, coal can be economically converted into vital fertilizers that are currently produced using costly natural gas.
The process is so clean the EPA encourages its use.
..... http://www.natchezdemocrat.com/articles/2005/11/19/news/news72.txt
The USA has vast coal reserves, nearly one-third of the world's total ..... enough to provide ultraclean, secure and affordable fuels and fertilizers for hundreds of years.
The fuels and fertilizers can be stored, distributed and used with no modifications to existing infrastructure, vehicles and equipment. Widespread availability of the fuels would, in fact, make new, higher efficiency vehicles possible.
As a result, a new industry .... domestic coal conversion .... is about to emerge, and with it will come thousands of high-paying jobs and enormous ripple-effect economic benefits. (Peabody Coal is ramping up "Btu Conversion" that includes CTL. Check it out via Google.)
Though the fundamental CTL technology is well-proven and over half a century old, Rentech has been refining and patenting improved technology ideally suited for this type of coal conversion for over twenty years. Rentech is now on track to launch this country's first commercial coal conversion plants in Illinois and Mississippi. This promises to be a landmark example of being in the right place at the right time with the right technology.

1. Rentech's Business Plan - Implement Advanced Clean Coal Technologies
Building on EPA-endorsed coal gasification .........
Implement "Fischer Tropsch Synthesis" (FT synthesis)
--- Convert carbon-bearing feedstocks into ultraclean liquid fuels and chemicals
--- 70+ year old technology developed initially in Germany
--- Most familiar is gas-to-liquids (GTL) fed with natural gas
............ Many players ..... including Rentech as a technology licensor
--- Less familiar is coal-to-liquids (CTL) fed with coal
............ Few players .... Rentech is one
Implement "Polygeneration"
--- Combines FT synthesis with fertilizer and electric power production
--- Unique/patented Rentech technology, utilizes coal feedstocks
............ "Coal-to-Corn" presentation is at:
............ http://www.roysterclark.com/news/stories/Local%20Pres%20Coal%20to%20Corn%20Sept%20forum.pdf
____________________________________________________________________
2. Rentech - Transformation started in 2003, jelled in 2005/2006
Before: Rentech's future lay in small GTL prospects in foreign countries
--- Domestic GTL blocked by high natural gas costs
--- Technology licensor for natural gas conversion to clean diesel fuels
--- All projects controlled by others and foreign political complications
--- Token technology development support from US government
2005+: Rentech's future lies in Advanced Clean Coal
--- Domestic polygeneration using coal feedstocks
........Own and operate plants using patented technology
............ Produce ultraclean diesel for domestic use
............ Coproduce fertilizers, ultraclean diesel, chemicals and electric power
.................. Highest "Clean Coal" profit potential
--- Breakthrough US government support for clean coal in August 2005
....... Alternative Fuel designation and $21/bbl subsidy for fuels from coal
....... Investment tax credits and loan guarantees for clean coal facilities
....... Lines of credit for polygeneration facilities
....... Multi-year DoD contracts for FT diesel fuel from coal authorized
--- Continue licensing GTL/CTL technology worldwide
______________________________________________________________________
3. "Fischer Tropsch (FT) Synthesis" ..... Four process steps in a nutshell .....
Step 1: Gasifiers turn carbon bearing feedstocks into synthesis gas ("syngas") --- Feedstocks are coal, petroleum coke, biomass, natural gas etc.
Step 2: Feedstock contaminants like mercury and sulfur are stripped from the syngas, making it a virtually pure mixture of hydrogen and carbon monoxide
--- Sulfur, mercury, etc. become commercially salable products, not air pollutants
Step 3: FT reactors turn the pure syngas into ultraclean waxes, fuels and chemicals
--- This is Rentech's specialty ..... unique/patented/proprietary features
--- Foundation technology is over 70 years old, originated in Germany
--- CO2 produced in this step can be collected easily for sequestration (including use in enhanced oil recovery)
Step 4: Upgraders turn FT products into marketable commodities
--- Current "hot topic" is FT diesel .... sulfur free, aromatic free, high cetane
____________________________________________________________________
4. FT Diesel - AKA "The Cleanest Diesel Fuel Known to Man"
Typical emissions reductions
Hydrocarbons .............. down 42%
Carbon monoxide ......... down 33%
Nitrous oxides ............. down 9%
Particulates ................ down 28%
.... and it has a long shelf life (years) and is biodegradable
_____________________________________________________________________
5. FT Synthesis ....... Why its time has arrived
Besides ultralow sulfur diesel being mandated worldwide .........
World's crude oil production capacity barely meeting demand
"Peak Oil" either here or imminent ....
--- conventional crude production decreases while demand increases
--- conventional crude shortfall of 10's of millions of bpd worldwide by 2025
A good recent "Peak Oil" presentation is at ....
http://www.afvi.org/PhoenixCongress2006/presentations/may08/0800-0945_Hall_A_General_Session/Hirsch_...
Energy and security concerns ....... iffy suppliers, ~$70 crude, pain at the pump
_____________________________________________________________________
6. FT Synthesis ....... Proof its time has arrived
Strong Advanced Clean Coal incentives in Energy Bill and Highway Bill
Majors are voting overseas with their checkbooks, embarking on billions of dollars of GTL ventures in Qatar to produce hundreds of thousands of bpd of FT fuels/chemicals from natural gas
____________________________________________________________________
7. USA's dependency on imports ..... assuming business as usual
Today ....... 10 million bpd of crude plus 3 million bpd of finished products
2025 ........ projected 16 million bpd of crude plus 5 million bpd of finished products
And over 50% of our fertilizers are now imported .... another bad dependency
____________________________________________________________________
8. Advanced Clean Coal - Less Dependency, More Security
The USA is not just a "Saudi Arabia of Coal", the USA is BIGGER
USA coal reserves can yield 800 BILLION barrels of FT liquid fuels
--- Saudi Arabia has 262 billion bbls, whole Middle East 686 billion bbls
And ..... FT synthesis can produce ultraclean fuels from coal for $35-$40/bbl
--- WITHOUT recently-enacted financial incentives
--- Bonus: coproduce fertilizers and electricity
_____________________________________________________________________
9. How much better is the FT synthesis way?
Choose "A" or "B"
"A" ....... Continued/growing dependency on foreign oil
--- ~$70/bbl of crude, balance of payments, DoD workload, supply risks
OR
"B" ....... Develop domestic FT synthesis industry using coal feedstock
--- Cleaner, lower cost products, reliable supply, jobs, balance of payments, lower DoD expenses, satisfy DoD clean fuel needs
_____________________________________________________________________
10. Voting for "B", USA enacted Advanced Clean Coal legislation in August 2005
Implements strong support for clean coal initiatives
Breakthrough ........Domestic FT fuels from coal are now "Alternative Fuels" like ethanol
Highway Bill ........ $21/bbl direct payment to FT fuel producers using coal
Energy Bill .......... Investment tax credits and loan guarantees for "Clean Coal", lines of credit for polygeneration and authorization for DoD to buy FT fuels from coal
______________________________________________________________________
11. Rentech in the Advanced Clean Coal Picture
All of the following will use gasified coal.
Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) electric power plants, virtually as clean as natural gas driven power plants and capable of selling syngas "on the side", will produce $70 to $110 worth of products from a ton of coal.
--- Rentech will NOT participate here
More profitable plants will produce FT fuels and electric power
--- These plants will produce higher value products from coal
--- Rentech will build such plants and license their competitive FT technology for such plants
............ Rentech's iron-catalyst FT technology is especially well suited to working with syngas from coal
The most profitable plants will be polygeneration plants producing fertilizer,
FT fuels and electric power
--- These plants will produce the highest value products from coal.
--- Rentech has patented polygeneration technology
--- Rentech will build these as well ...... patent provides "edge"
_______________________________________________________________________
12. Exploiting Coal Gasification - The foundation of Advanced Clean Coal
Power companies are unaccustomed to the thought of having chemical plants inside their fences. To increase profits via adding FT and/or polygeneration, mindsets need to change.
Illinois and Ohio understand and are promoting coal-fed FT fuel production and polygeneration. Wyoming has funded studies but hasn't implemented a program. Mississippi is moving forward rapidly, having recently passed legislation providing $15 million to support a Rentech CTL plant in Natchez that will supply strategic fuels.
--- http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/060417/lam043.html?.v=45
Rentech's fertilizer plant polygeneration conversion initiative is unique, putting coal gasification to profitable use in an existing industry hobbled by high natural gas costs.
________________________________________________________________________
13. Rentech's qualifications and activities
Rentech has operated four FT pilot plants since incorporating in 1981
--- Largest was 265 bpd Synhytech plant in Pueblo, Colorado, 1992-93
--- Denver laboratory currently operating slurry bubble column reactor
Coal-fed Product Development Unit in Colorado, 10 to 15 bpd, will be operating in the first half of 2007
19 patents covering key aspects of FT conversion, catalysts and products
Domestic coal-to-liquids projects being worked (and funded) actively
--- Most advanced is former Royster Clark fertilizer plant in East Dubuque, Illinois
............ Currently fed with natural gas
............ Rentech acquired this plant and will convert it to coal feedstock

"....Coal-to-Oil Alchemy
Cramer said that U.S. News and World Report recently wrote a great story about alternative energy, and the magazine reported that the most promising technology we have is not solar or wind.
Instead, it' something called the Fischer-Tropsch process, which turns coal into gas.
The technology has been around since the 1920s, but it's still the most promising alternative energy play, Cramer said. And the U.S. Energy Administration believes that the Fischer-Tropsch process is economically viable once oil rises to $45 a barrel.
We hit that level a long time ago, Cramer said. And he said that it can be profitable for viewers if they take a look at Rentech (RTK:Amex).
Cramer said that he has liked Sasol (SSL:NYSE ADS) for a long time, but that the small-cap Rentech is a better speculative play.
"Sasol is lumbering giant ... Rentech is our bantam weight coal-to-oil company," he said. This is because when small-cap companies are in a bull market, they tend to go up more.
However, he also warned that these small stocks are very volatile, and that this is a very speculative stock. Rentech has its own process, based on Fischer-Tropsch, that converts coal to gas, and gas to clean burning liquid fuel.
In coal scrubbing, Cramer said he likes URS (URS:NYSE) , which he owns for his Action Alerts PLUS charitable trust portfolio...."
All want to be the first to be second.
That is the basic idea in any new concept or venture. I am invested in another company that is going to convert coal to diesel fuel. Hopefully my company will be the first in the Country to do this. Everyone else wants to be the first to build the second plant.
Many people do not want to be the pioneer. They don't want to put their necks out there and take the risk. With risk, comes the reward, especially in such a fast paced and evolving industry like telecommunications.
I agree Pit, build out one city or region and wait for the offers to roll.
Bucky
It's not a bad thing.
It is very good. If your comment is correct than I am sure that Ford, Chevy, GE, Microsoft, Kraft, etc. only have one engineer on staff. Of course, once you develope the first car why would you need an engineer to do anything else.
I am sure that there has not been any evolution in the design of the car, mac & cheese, or an electric motor since the first version.
If you are not constantly evolving and developing new technologies and improvements to old, then you are dying if not dead.
This is a very good thing.

re: PLNI
Is PLNI just a pump and dump type of play? I do not own any but was considering for some time. My brother boughts some earlier this year when they were pumping PR's, but since that stopped end of January so has the pps.
What are your general views of the stock and/or company. The company does sound like a compelling story....
Thanks
Bucky
@ERG
We are in agreement. I agree that a FAQ page on their site is a good idea. It would definitely limit the number of calls and emails because people do not/can not trust the validity of a posters email answer from the company.
I can't imagine answering the same question 100's of times per day. My point was that the company said they would update when there is info available. They have already sent out emails with updates to the website (that were not worthy of a public PR).
I believe that even with a FAQ page, they will still be getting way too many calls/email asking what is up.
Sorry, my first message was not intended to be an attack of your comments.
Thanks
Bucky
Are we there yet?
I have to go to the bathroom. I'm hungry. Are we there yet?
If the company set up a FAQ page, it would only really need to have one question.
Is the Russian deal dead?
They have already changed their policy to update us shareholders with email updates for their webpage.
Please be patient and allow the company employees to do their jobs.

Rentech Completes Its Acquisition of Royster-Clark Nitrogen, Inc.
12:50 p.m. 04/26/2006 Provided by
Provides Initial Step for Company's United States Coal-to-Liquids Ultra-Clean Fuels Platform
DENVER and EAST DUBUQUE, Ill., April 26, 2006 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Rentech, Inc., (RTK) announced today that it has completed the purchase of Royster-Clark Nitrogen, Inc. (RCN) from Royster-Clark, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Agrium Inc., for approximately $70 million. The assets include an 830-ton-per-day ammonia fertilizer facility located in East Dubuque, Illinois, inventories of the plant, and working capital. The purchase price was $50 million in cash plus the net working capital acquired at closing of approximately $20 million.
The facility will be renamed Rentech Energy Midwest Corporation (REMC). Rentech plans to convert REMC's natural gas fed ammonia fertilizer plant into a poly-generation facility that will use clean coal gasification technology to produce Rentech's ultra-clean diesel fuel, fertilizer and electricity from Illinois #6 coal. The converted plant will be the first commercial scale application of Rentech's proprietary processes to produce environmentally- friendly ultra-clean fuels in the United States. The East Dubuque facility will utilize the Rentech Process, which is a significant enhancement of the Fischer-Tropsch coal-to-liquids (CTL) technology, to produce the clean fuels which can be used for a wide-range of transportation applications, including diesel and jet fuels. The Company believes that converting the feedstock of the plant from expensive natural gas to affordable coal will significantly reduce the cost of operations. Net sales for the East Dubuque facility were approximately $119.8 million for the twelve months ended December 31, 2005.
"This is a landmark day for Rentech, which has pioneered innovative advances in production methods for ultra-clean fuels utilizing coals-to-liquid technology," said Hunt Ramsbottom, President and CEO of Rentech, Inc. "First and foremost, we want to welcome the new employees in East Dubuque to the Rentech team. They have an exceptional reputation for quality manufacturing, and they are going to be in the forefront of our effort to commercialize Rentech's technology to convert coal and other hydrocarbons into clean burning fuels.
"Rentech would also like to thank Governor Rod Blagojevich and the state of Illinois for their efforts to make REMC a reality. Their support has been vital in the development of REMC, as well as for the coal and fertilizer industries in Illinois.
"We also appreciate the efforts of the U.S. Congress in the 2005 Energy Policy Act and Transportation Bill to encourage production of ultra-clean fuels through the application of clean coal technologies. In particular, the incentives introduced by Senators Charles Grassley (R-Iowa) and Max Baucus (D-Montana), the Chairman and ranking member of the Senate Finance Committee respectively, could greatly accelerate the production of clean fuels and domestic fertilizer in the United States," continued Mr. Ramsbottom.
Rentech plans to immediately initiate the engineering design work necessary to convert the plant to gasified coal as a feedstock, and will continue to produce ammonia fertilizer products from natural gas during the conversion phase. The Company will also install a Rentech Process reactor to produce ultra-clean fuels along with ammonia fertilizer and other associated products. Rentech plans to convert the facility in phases. The Company estimates it will take approximately three to four years to complete the conversion at a cost of approximately $800 million, which will require substantial additional financing.
The REMC facility is being designed to be replicable and scalable. The Company's growth strategy utilizes these scalable applications to develop multiple future CTL sites to jump-start domestic CTL commercialization. Rentech is currently engaged in discussions regarding other potential developments in the U.S., including conversations with coal companies to investigate the potential for developing CTL plants at mines.
About the Rentech Process
Rentech's proprietary processes produce ultra-clean fuels that have a very low sulfur content, less than one part per million. This technology converts synthesis gas (a combination of hydrogen and carbon monoxide), produced by gasifying coal or petroleum coke, into high-quality ultra-clean fuels and other industrial products using the Fischer-Tropsch chemical process. Harmful pollutants in the coal are sequestered from the environment in the gasification step; the synthesis gas is passed through the Rentech Process reactor, where a patented catalyst triggers the conversion into stable polymers which can be finished into a variety of ultra-clean fuels, naphtha, waxes, and fuel for fuel cells. (Visit www.rentechinc.com for more information.)
Low. Thank You.
I thank you regardless of your opinion/answer. But, I thank you double for the good review. As stated earlier, I am long and mostly based on gut and my infatuation with the company.
Too long really, but with our energy problems reaching this critical point, it seems that the time is finally right.
Thanks again.
Bucky
Low. Hoping for some of your knowledge.
RTK. I own quite a bit and for about 10 years now. I have rode this up and down over the years and still like the company. I greatly appreciate your angle and insight on the GTE board and was just curious what your technical eye sees with RTK.
I am not planning to sell any soon, as I am mostly a buy and hold long. Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda...I could be retired if I had traded this over the years, but what the hey...
Thank you for your time.

State of Mississippi Approves $15 Million Funding for Rentech's Proposed Adams-Natchez Clean Fuel Manufacturing Facility
Monday April 17, 9:00 am ET
Funding to Support the Development of Rentech's Proposed Clean Fuel Manufacturing Plant
DENVER, April 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Rentech, Inc. (Amex: RTK - News) today announced that the State of Mississippi has enacted a $15 million state funding initiative, included in House Bill 1634, providing for site improvements at the location of Rentech's proposed 10,000 barrel per day clean fuel manufacturing plant in Natchez, Mississippi. The funding is subject to Rentech meeting certain financial, employment and other criteria. Rentech has proposed building a 10,000 barrel per day clean fuel manufacturing plant in Adams County, Mississippi near Natchez.
"We are very grateful to Governor Haley Barbour, Lt. Governor Amy Tuck, Speaker of the House Billy McCoy, the State of Mississippi, members of the Mississippi legislature, the President and Board of Supervisors of Adams County, the Mayor and City of Natchez as well as the ten county coalition for their support in the passage of a $15 million state funding initiative," said Hunt Ramsbottom, President and CEO of Rentech. "Since proposing the clean fuel manufacturing plant six months ago, the public officials of Natchez-Adams County Economic Development Authority, the Mississippi legislators, Governor Barbour, and the citizens of Mississippi have recognized the important role that our proposed plant could play in providing a clean, cost-effective alternative to the high energy costs they are currently facing. This funding will be instrumental in moving the project to commercialization. It will provide funding to Adams County to complete necessary civil improvement work at the Belwood site and an expansion of the Adams County Port facility to support the project. By passing this funding initiative, Mississippi has shown it recognizes the importance of national energy security and the need to utilize local resources in a clean and responsible manner to reach our national goals of cutting energy dependence on foreign oil."
Rentech is currently in negotiations with the Adams County Board of Supervisors to purchase or lease the Belwood site on a long-term basis for its proposed 10,000 barrel per day clean fuel manufacturing plant. If Rentech is successful in structuring an agreement for the land and satisfies the state funding criteria, Adams County will provide Rentech with an improved site and port facilities necessary to meet its plant's needs.
"We look forward to working with Rentech to move this project to commercialization," said Darryl Grennell, President of the Adams County Board of Supervisors. "By having a clean fuel manufacturing plant in Adams County producing reliable fuel with a long shelf life, local and regional emergency agencies will have access to fuel supplies to support emergency needs during critical situations like those presented during Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, which was not the case during these two tragic events."
"Rentech will be a tremendous asset to our city for many, many years to come," said Mayor Phillip West, City of Natchez. "It will enhance our overall growth and economic development by supplying much needed quality jobs for the people in our area. We want to thank Rentech for choosing Natchez-Adams County, and we look forward to working with them to bring this much needed alternate fuel source to our area and nation. We are extremely proud to be a part of this environmental-friendly initiative."
The proposed Rentech facility would utilize coal and petroleum coke for its feedstock. The fuels from the plant would be used within the region and produced from a more secure facility than the refineries of the US Gulf Coast that are very susceptible to interruption during the hurricane season. This would provide a production source for fuels during crisis situations that emergency facilities and first responders could rely on for their backup power and fuel needs, which was not the case during Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
It is estimated that the company will employ approximately 1,500 jobs over the three-year construction. Additionally, it is expected that the facility will provide approximately 200 permanent positions, at an average annual salary of $45,000, plus benefits. No definitive agreements with respect to the plant have been reached yet, and the project will be subject to obtaining necessary financing, permits and other approvals.

Patent Pending-
A phrase that often appears on manufactured items. It means that someone has applied for a patent on an invention that is contained in the manufactured item. It serves as a warning that a patent may issue that would cover the item and that copiers should be careful because they might infringe if the patent issues. Once the patent issues, the patent owner will stop using the phrase "patent pending" and start using a phrase such as "covered by U.S. Patent Number XXXXXXX." Applying the patent pending phrase to an item when no patent application has been made can result in a fine.
First an initial application is submitted (basic in nature), which mostly just tells them of your intent. From the date of the initial application, there is one year to submit a formal patent to the Office. If the one year lapses, the technology becomes property of the public and can be used by anyone.
The Office will review, ask for changes and hopefully approve.
The level of protection increases with each stage.

Nobody seems to know a real value of kswj.
There does not seem to be a lot of info to learn from. If the process works, their chart will make the wnwg chart look flat.
My original post was to "playa?" who wanted to see the process work or tested. My intent was to say that the day you see the process working, these low prices will be very long gone.
Does anyone have a good place to do research on this co.?
Bucky
Are you actually comparing the two pages?
One of them has much info and one does not.
One company has a substantial share price and the other does not.
So far just reading and researching.
I do not own any yet.
I did a search of the uspto.gov for em-100, ksw industries and electromagnetic fluctuations. Found nothing, but the company did say that they are just starting the process. There would then be no record as of yet.
As to wanting to see the product in use/being tested. If/when you see this, the pps will be much higher. Is this product legit? Is this company legit? Who really knows, until further info is available, the current pps holds some clues.
They would do themselves a huge favor by improving their website.

Pit. Regarding Biovail
I just caught part of the interview with the counsel from Biobail. Being an outsider on that issue, it seemed to me that Biovail was trying to blame someone else for their problems.
Do you think they have a legitimate claim? I do not know what the nature of Gradients claims/analysis was.
Was it similar in nature to what MF has been doing to GTE?
Of course, if it was GTE instead of Biovail, my personal interest and emotion would be very biased. That always changes things.
The outcome of this would scare me as to the precident it would set with what can and can't be said/reported. Just look at what has happened with proxies and statements made by companies, post Enron. Companies are afraid to say anything good about their prospects.
Thanks for your thoughts.

I sent a note yesterday. But, knowing this group, they probably got many more than our messages.

Thank you very much Low.
Bucky
Low. Hoping for some help.
I am mostly a reader (not a poster) of the GTE site and have been around for a while now. I have tried to learn from the knowledge that you and the others offer but don't really have the time to get it real well.
I have been following a stock (wsce) for some time now and waiting for an entry (long). It seems to have leveled on a recent decline and want to put a small amount of money into it.
From your perspective, can you offer any insight please?
Thanks.
Bucky
AMEX...a declining exchange.
Mide, I had the opportunity last summer while at Whistling Straits to meet a marketing person for NASDAQ (I was carrying his bags as a caddie). I understand that his opinion was biased because of his affiliation with the NAS, but he believed the the AMEX was a declining/dying exchange.
They had not kept up with the times, could not offer the exposure and services that the NAS and NYSE had.
FWIW
Bucky
I noticed the bid/ask change also, but still not trading.
I asked this earlier...try again.
From a TA perspective, if we start trading again today, would this be considered a GAP?
Is a GAP on counted from the start of day's trading?
Thanks.
Bucky
Gap Up?
Is gap only considered a gap when it happens at the open? If the news is good and starts trading above where the halt was called, is that a Gap that will need to be filled?
Thanks.
Bucky
I agreed with all of you this morning. Especially to get a PR from another company. Good to see.

I am almost more impressed with the E-911 news put out by Intrado.
Is this the first time that another company/supplier has mentioned GTE? This gives GTE some free publicity and more importantly, it shows that GTE is moving forward on things as we would hope.

Thanks to both of you. I am thinking that the person who reported this info some time ago on another site must have been full of it.
Either that, or they had been tracking monthly using the metrics site.
Thanks again.

OT: Website activity.
Does anyone know of a site/service that will show the history of hits at a website?
I wanted to see how busy the GTE site is and compare how it has changed over time.
Thanks.

G,
I asked my brother, who works for Morgan Stanley, about the 4 places.
His thought was that it may simply be a MM grouping several orders through that came in at different prices. I realize it is a pretty boring reason, but it might be true.
1500 shares at 3.01 = $4515
1700 shares at 3.02 = $5134
Total shares of 3200 costing $9649 at an average share price of $3.0153125

guaranasa,
q1: Don't think so.
q2: COB would have a lot of responsibility in my opinion.
q3: Independent meaning that he is not employed by company. I believe Independent board members are required by exchange.
q4: If relations were bad, he would be gone as of PR.

Currently up .01
That's 50%. Not complaining, but what is up. If it has to do with the recent shareholder update, then why the delayed reaction?
Hoping there is more to it than the update.
(Edit: Spoke too soon. Up .009)

I am not directly comparing GTE to GOOG....
but, I heard today on CNBC where an analyst explained why GOOG missed their earnings. He basically stated that the International tax laws are very complicated and the people at GOOG were wrong with their numbers.
So, to say that GTE (a much smaller company with less staff and resources) needs more time to negotiate the workings of an International deal does not seem as shocking.
This does not excuse either company from their errors in judgement, but it certainly makes me feel better that we are not alone.

As always......
Much information and much appreciated. I await my money and hope it stays lower until...

Verylong,
What is your take on PLNI. I recall you mentioning them in the past. I have been watching for a few weeks and am waiting for money to clear into my account. My brother bought some in the mid 9 area and thinking of averaging down.
I would like to get in as soon as my cash is available. Things look pretty good for them from what I have learned, but I would like to hear your thoughts.
Thanks.
Bucky
Why have I been seeing prices out so far into the sub pennies? Earlier today GTE showed a +0.0001 for the days change. This is on Ameritrade and could be just that they are showing more detail.
Any thoughts with regard to today's activity?
Bucky
verylong,
If you go with the projection tv, then spend a little extra and have your builder put in a retractable screen and tray for the projector.
What the heck, go all out and paint the floor with glue or soda to get that real movie theatre feel.
Have a good one.
