AMEX...a declining exchange.

Mide, I had the opportunity last summer while at Whistling Straits to meet a marketing person for NASDAQ (I was carrying his bags as a caddie). I understand that his opinion was biased because of his affiliation with the NAS, but he believed the the AMEX was a declining/dying exchange.

They had not kept up with the times, could not offer the exposure and services that the NAS and NYSE had.
