I would think the DOD or whatever department would do its own testing of any product they would consider purchasing.
Why would the DOD rely on an outside firm to tell them that the product works or not?
Plus the company that is representing the product is not SFOR, is ACS/CSI.

Incorrect NCAR - IPhones for Military Personnel - ALL
First, the military doesn't issue cell phones to all soldiers. They can have their own phones and use them for personal reasons only, and yes there is a protocol to when and how they use them.
Second, they don't send any military classified info via cell phone! Only the civilian side of our government does that crap!
Third, cell phones to all are not the way they communicate!
Sumdude - The date of the MSFT Settlement.
There was not a PR on this. The first it was heard was in the 8K
Put out on 1/20/16 I believe.
"About an hour before the end of last Wednesday's trading session, they published an 8-K form announcing that their patent infringement lawsuit against Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) has resulted in a settlement agreement. As a part of it, SFOR will receive an undisclosed sum of money."

I talked with people on the Transition Team and I'm fairly confident, I'm very confident that Donald Trump is going to make Cyber Security very much a priority for our Milatary, for our Political System and our Private Sector because he understands the vulnerabilities that is something that President Obama has never understood or not ever put a strategy in place to try to protect America's National Security and America's National Interest in Cyber Space, this is exactly where the Obama Administration has failed, you exactly making my point."
Chump Change? - Wrong Logic - Midnight Shift 12/30/16
A settlement with microsoft for 9 million.. a company worth 290 billion. The largest software company in the world.
SFOR took what they offered, which was cheaper than fighting the lawsuit for microsoft. SFOR settled for pennies on the dollar with the largest software company in the world.
The settled with microsoft for chump change. Expect another chump change settlement.
Yes thats why I took the time to post these two after seeing what You had mentioned a week before.
The first post has two Videos about Azure to help explain, a little Humor too.

But at least ACS got the chance at bat to sell SFOR's product to the Pentagon. They at least,(by law, due to the SBA initiated legislation to give small businesses a chance to compete for DOD dollars) have to consider Strike Force Technologies.

Media Advertising Cost Money TV, Online or BillBoards.
Once Lawsuit $$$$$$$ begin rolling in I'm sure StrikeForce will be able to afford Media Advertising.

MidnightShift Post - Ram Pemmaraju
Thank You Papa_P for passing along a Great Article on Ram to me, this is the Type Stuff I Love.
I also Found and Included the Link to the Story.
My sepific BackGround is Main Frame Computers at least since 1975. I've woked on several Different types of DEC (DIGITAL Equipment Corp)DEC PDP Computers
I definitely recall Thumbing in programs using the Front Panel Keys as Ram mentioned.
If Fact you still had to Boot the PDP's 11/55's and -11/70's by thumbing in the Boot Code to get it up in the late 1980'80s on the Flight Simulators I worked on. Out at Cape Canaveral I had a DEC/VAX Farm of 98 Dec/VAX main Frame Computers to Maintain and System Amdin in the 1990'and 2000 Years.
Ram Pemmaraju '84 Invents New Cybersecurity Technology
Share this story
Combining technology and business, Stevens alumnus Ram Pemmaraju (B.E. 1984) embodies the Stevens ideal of cross-disciplinary innovation. From the invention of keystroke encryption to his current position as head of his own computer security company, Pemmaraju has blended his expertise in computer science and business management to succeed in both worlds.
Pemmaraju was initially drawn to Stevens because of its strong focus on engineering. But certain classes and opportunities led him down a different path. An Electrical Engineering class introduced him to microprocessors. Then, his senior project "revolved around programming a PDP-8 using switches on the front panel. That made me interested in computers,” says Pemmaraju.
Due to connections made at Stevens, Pemmaraju was able to hit the ground running in his new field. A relationship started at Stevens led to his first job after graduation – a position with Codenoll, a fiber optic startup company based in New York.
Pemmaraju's next venture was launching his own company, Computer Security Systems.
"That business was started by me and two other graduates from Stevens and employed a number of students from Stevens," he said.
This first foray into owning a business allowed Pemmaraju to assume the roles of both businessman and engineer, laying the foundation for future ventures, including the development of keystroke encryption.
During his time with Computer Security Systems, Pemmaraju gained experience with cybersecurity through building and selling data encryption and access control systems.
"This background helped me with coming up with keystroke encryption as well as out-of-band authentication, which is widely used in securing access to computers," Pemmaraju said.
Keystroke encryption is an essential part of cybersecurity, used widely. CIO Magazine recently lauded the technology in an article titled "9 Unheralded Technology Innovations."
"The software is used by several million people, typically as a component of another security suite or identity theft package," said Pemmaraju.
The technology is available for PC and Mac, as well as Android and iPhone operating systems in the growing smartphone market.
Pemmaraju's passion shines through when he discusses his work with keystroke encryption and cybersecurity.
"Cyber crime has become an epidemic plaguing government and businesses,” he said. “The attacker lures the victim to download malware via phishing or compromised web sites. The malware typically contains a keylogger, which grabs everything you type. This can be passwords, credit card numbers or anything else of value which can lead to the attacker stealing money or corporate and government secrets. The existing defenses such as anti-virus software and firewalls are unable to prevent this, hence the large number of data breaches.”
Keystroke encryption is an elegant answer to this multifaceted problem.
"The best solution is to encrypt everything you type and transport the encrypted keys in a pathway hidden from the malware," said Pemmaraju. "The benefit is the reduction of data breaches and password theft, making the internet safe to use.”
He continues to develop secure technologies at his current company, Strikeforce Technologies. Pemmaraju started the business in 2002 with a few others. Even then, Stevens continued to play a role in Pemmaraju's associations.
"My first technical hire was a Stevens graduate," he said.
Since its inception, the business has expanded to include the core team in New Jersey, offshore development in India and distribution in England, Nigeria, Australia and Dubai. Pemmaraju considers keystroke encryption part of his company's claim to fame. The second part of their specialization is out-of-band authentication. Strikeforce Technologies also offers security software for smartphones using iPhone or Android mobile platforms.
As a small cap public company, Strikeforce Technologies faces different hurdles than a private company.
"[It] has its challenges," Pemmaraju admits.
However, he is perfectly suited to handle the intricacies of a computer-based business. Pemmaraju's dual background in business and technology allow him to evaluate market demands and cybersecurity needs in order to prepare for the future of online security.
"My current plan is to stay in the computer security industry as there is a lot of growth and I can leverage my background effectively," said Pemmaraju. "Fortunately, we are in an industry which is growing rapidly and we have the right products to capitalize on this opportunity."
Pemmaraju currently lives in Old Bridge, N.J. with his wife and two children.

Write Kay and email Yourself or better yet call him, I did last week, but not asking about Deals or Court Status.
I already know the Answer to DEALS, like Mom you to say when I would ask when dinner would be Ready ?
The Answer.... "When the Potatos are done"
In our case When the on going Deals are completely Finalized. Signed, Sealed and Delivered.

Re: "there ARE technological approaches out there that can beat the security provided by SFOR."
Knuckboy - I wish you had gone it some more detail about those technological Approaches. Of course most here could give a flying flip about Technology is general, and it might pehaps Fly way over the heads of many.
But some us have Inquiring Minds and would like to read what you might have to say. I Quantum Leaped in to this before in a post Dealing with Cyber Security and Quantum Algorithms back around Nov 10 and 11th.
Midshift Post Quantum Algorithms
As stated there, I would imagine Ram Pemmaraju is deep into this by now and pounding away at the Keyboard already
As a side note SFOR has two more Patents it's applying for, so who knows, SFOR may not just be heading for a Giant Leap in PPS as the New Year Rolls in, but a Quantum Leap in its Products as well.
My Apologies Diego, noexcusee except time is short during the holidays and posting to quick without Double checking the reply to:
Merry Christmas and Let's hope there's at least one Deal Finalized before the end of the year.
Wallstreet looking Forward.
First it's not really Wallstreet it's marketmakeers in an OTC stock, most of which I'm sure would prefer to work for a Real Wallstreet Investment Firm.
Whether it's retail Investors in this OTC stock or Marketmakers. There is only one thing that's going to Drive this stock to a higher PPS, Deals or Settlement News.
You actually have gotten 4 other Nice replys.
Also Options and warrants were explained nicely to you. Company Employees pay for them. It's nice to see, as they must think the PPS will increase. Plus if they don't offer them, they could well move on to other Employment, perharps with a compeditior, and whether they hold intimate Knowledge of the Company or limited Knowledge, you would not want it being discussed with the Compitition. ONE good reason to have less than 10 People working for the Company at this stage.
Everyone has a right to what they think, even if it's not Complimentary to SFOR, even if in come from looking at things a different way than the Longs. Your free to sell if you don't like the way things are done in your mind.
As to my thoughts on your post and comments.
Welcome Back Diego, but Place the Blame Elsewhere.
There was no "snafu" on Kays part.
"So I took Kay at his word, nothing special is going to happen with SFOR this year 2016"
Paraphrasing, Kay said Deals were in the Final Stages, and could completed at any time, any day. And that Patent Lawsuits can take a year to 3 years.
Sounds like he was just being Straight Forward to me.
He did not say, nothing special was going to happen in 2016.
Deals could be completed at any time or any day.
You would do a shareholder briefing too, if you were getting 100s of annoying phone calls from investors calling asking about the NONSENCE being discussed on an Investment Board, while trying to run a company and put rumors and proaganda to rest.
With 2.3 Billion O/S there are a lot of shareholders and not just those posting on the board, there are lots of Lurkers reading this stuff and calling too.
And the Deal(s) still may completed before the end of the year, or not.
Hey honey when is dinner? " Dinner will be ready when the Potatos are Done!"
Personally I don't think the Shareholder briefing had anything to do with the reduction in share price, it was going to retrace anyway until PR News about Deal(s) or Settlement(s) is released.
Diego if you still want to blame the Video on the lower PPS, then don't blame Kay. Direct your comments towards the people causing all the doubts to be raised in the first place that caused shareholders to call the company, this is what caused Mark to make the video and to dispelled the Rumors, and stop the annoying phone calls.
Have a Safe and Happy Holiday Season.
Rumors are like a "Bad Penny"
Bad Penny Reference
"a Bad Penny always turns up. A person or thing which is unpleasant, dishonorable, or unwanted tends to appear (or reappear), especially at inopportune times."
Thank you Diego and Papa P for the welcome back.
I know a number of other former SFOR investors who are matriculating back to SFOR for the same reason.
Yeah I was in on SFOR in trips.
Couldnt believe Kays interview and got out before the fall. That was a big snafu on his part , he really messed up the PPS and investors on that one. He should never do interviews again, ever. Unless he does a chnageover , lose the hunch back negative depressed demeanor and bring it this is his dream share his vision with us.
So I took Kay at his word, nothing special is going to happen with SFOR this year 2016 so I got into some other stocks.
But always felt the same way about SFOR it only a matter of time before the big break out with the settlement. Its a no brainer. I want to be in every uptick as the PPS is chased to dollar land. Its going to be spectacular.
There are just 3 or 4 stocks I am holdinjg now. SFOR is one of them and I will be buying on dips.
Best wishes to you guys and other SFOR investors!
What is a bumper to which you refer to Cous ?
I use to carry a 196 Average, have not been bowling in 20 years.
Guess I should Drag myself down to the local Alley and see if I still got it.
The last time I was bowling I was asked to join the league by a friend
Who worked Law Enforcement at the Cape and worked for a Different Company. It was two person team league.
They were desperate to have enough people to start a League.
So I asked co-workers if anyone Bowled. There was just one guy. We joined. We did it to have some camaraderie with the Law enfocement guys we had to worked with. We were working on Cape Canaveral's Electroic Security System that cover 15 miles.
About 3/4 the way through the Season, I said to him, you know if we really applied ourselves we could Win the League.
We Won, to the dismay of about 20 guys in Law Enforcement from another company.
I've enjoyed the Sport since I joined AJBC in High School.
Good Luck in the Tourney Today.
