They probably looked at the news release time and market close time and decided to just stop trading for the day. We probably will have to wait til Thursday to find out. I would not want to be short when they reopen. (Are you short whoever sold today??? Suerte? Tedro? Its not you is it Kmack?)
"All major U.S. stock markets will be closed on Wednesday December 25, for the Christmas holiday. Additionally, major U.S. stock markets will close early at 1 pm ET on Tuesday December 24."
But, you never know! Perhaps right now lawyers and the Nicorp managment and board are huddling somewhere collecting signatures and initials on a 15 pound 450 page financing document. If so, it would give Niocorp a chance for a Christmas day news announcement and a further trading halt on Friday! (My thought is that this will not happen until they receive recieve the Air Permit.)

Look at you Antler! You beat Niocorp's Niocorp's Email/PR announcment! (Dec 24 at 11:40 AM))
Thank you Antler for being everyone's eye's and ears on this!
This along with GE11's information regarding local bidding by electrical contractors confirm that this project is in good hands and moving quickly toward "equiptment on site in January!" Air permit and Financing to come!
Thank you, a good start to a great Chistmas!
(Need to go look at the rest of the posts!)
Growth mindset;
"Anyone think we see a news release if this goes through in the next hour?"
I hope that one of the posters from Johnson County Nebraska is monitoring the Niocorp meeting and lets us know how the board votes.
(Hopefully nobody raises objections and pushes the S.U. permitting to next year .)
A merry Christmas to everyone! (Off to do some shopping.)

When Niocorp stock price went up you were actually pretty positive. It was refreshing!
You are starting to slide back to old depressed slightly Cray-mack!
Nobody wants that for you or ourselves! Your last Niocorp post apparently was powerful enough to vaporize the next 9 posts! (I never saw their content! Maybe they were posts about CleanTech on the wrong board?)
Next news tomorrow, then Holiday break. January = Niocorp Air Permit. Have a good Christmas and New Year!
GE11: Agree with P.M. Thank you for the positive information regarding Niocorp. Hoping on additional positive news tomorrow!
And of course I wish you and everyone on this board a Happy Holiday Season! (For those who do not celebrate this season I hope you enjoy the lights and food and the Lengthening days!)

ABML not discussed, only point of post is to ridicule poster in post 430 (as well as anyone else owning this stock!).

Thank you.

I did not see any Niocorp news 10 min. ago.
It is disturbing to watch the SP decline so quickly, but I think people are locking in their gains or losses before year end.
This probably has more to do with positioning and preparation for an individual's 2019 taxes than any news about Niocorp.
BB. $30/shr. (Cigar--Not Crooks!) Sounds good!
"Lift weights together"
(Abgemacht!) Agreed! See you on Venice beach! :)
BB69
"I’ll personally shove cigars in all your mouths when we hit $300.00 a share by December 31st!!! "
Cigars? Ah, no thanks! (BB--You need to cut back on those steroids!!)
When they get financing there is either going to be share dilution , or 1.5 billion in debt, both which will restrain the price.
Now, if you are talking December 31 2026 I would certainly hope for >$30 per share!
So, BB69...If I am totally wrong, and you are right, or even somewhat right, I would be happy with that too!
Bodybuilder69
"Do I hear $300.00 a share????"
Would be nice, but no.
I think maybe $2 to $3 by end of 2020 and $8 to $10 by 2024-2025.
Ask again. After they payoff their debt and start generating income.
I need to be real in my expectations so this is my pure opinion w no real deep DD here. Don't ask me to do ain depth analysis. I hope you are more right than I am.
That said, Good investing/Good luck to you BB69 and everone else here!

Australia, U.S., to cooperate on critical minerals, rare earths
BY Reuters
— 1:56 AM ET 11/20/2019
Nov 20 (Reuters) - Australia and the United States will support projects to develop critical minerals and rare earths, an Australian government minister said on Wednesday, signalling deeper cooperation in a market dominated by Chinese supplies.
Australian Minister for Resources and Northern Australia Matt Canavan and U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross laid the groundwork for collaboration in financing such projects in talks in Washington, Canavan's office said in a statement.
"This work will offer opportunities for new projects to get off the ground," Canavan said.
"The growing global demand for critical minerals will provide scope for Australian miners to enter stable and secure supply chains to meet growing demand in key economies such as the US."
China is the world's largest producer of rare earth minerals, which are used in electric vehicles, smart phones, renewable energy and defence applications, and there is concern it could use its supplies as a bargaining chip in its trade war with the United States.
Canavan's office did not mention China in the statement.
Australia is host to the largest rare earths producer outside China, Lynas Corp. ( LYSCF ) The company signed a preliminary deal in May to build a heavy rare earths processing plant in Texas.
Australian and U.S. mineral agencies signed a deal on Tuesday to jointly develop a better understanding of their critical minerals reserves. (Reporting by Ambar Warrick in Bengaluru Editing by Robert Birsel)

Two November 19. 2019 Email replies from Nick Steinke lead engineer Olsson Engnineering to Riley Vanek State of Nebraska with answers to nine questions raised durning their October 23, 2019 meeting. There was one further question regarding the "Sulfuric Acid Plant" deferred for later discussion.
I think the 2 posted documents are identical. The questions deal with things like ducting in equiptment, emissions, whether 3 hot oil heater are the same models, assumptions on the "HAP" weight fractions, etc. Engineering issues.
As indicated one issue was not resolved and was deferred for later discussion.
Good luck!

Monocle:
Perhaps this should be understood in the light of the information that Mark provided the reporter at the annual meeting about "Financing being settled and was only waiting for the Lawyer sign offs." (My Paraphrase!)
Sufficient time has passed to allow dissemination of his statement allowing Mark to make this purchase. We should also take this to mean no immediate action on Financing in the next couple of weeks.
(I think the consensus was that it was not expected until January in any case.)

"Restrictions on Employee Trading
Sec. 423.8.
The Disclosure Rules require that employees with access to material information be prohibited from trading until the information has been fully disclosed and a reasonable period of time has passed for the information to be disseminated. This period may vary, depending on how closely the company is followed by analysts and institutional investors. ...
(SNIP....)
... In the case of pending transactions, the circumstances of each case should be considered in determining when to prohibit trading. In some cases, prohibition may be appropriate as soon as discussions about the transaction begin. The definition of materiality helps determine when trading should be prohibited in the case of pending transactions. Trading must be prohibited once the negotiations have progressed to a point where it reasonably could be expected that the market price of the company's securities would materially change if the status of the transaction were publicly disclosed. As the transaction becomes more concrete, it is more likely that the market will react. This prohibition on trading will often come into effect before the point in time when it must be disclosed publicly. In all situations, it is a judgment call as to when employee trading should be restricted."

"Proven ground in nevada....let's get this loan...and build this mine...etc."
You really do not have any real life experience with project managment or governmental permitting agencies, do you? They move at their own pace, you might as well be shouting at a glacier to encourage it to move faster.
Who are you really talking to here? Encouragement for the company? Encouragment for other shareholders? I doubt the company monitors this board and I suspect that your harangue is driving other viewers off the board. Soon you will be the only one here, so I guess keep talking to yourself if it makes you feel good.

Monocle; LCP77
56212 and 56207
Thank you both for providing this information!
(In case anyone new to investing and unfamiliar with warrants wonders what might result from the higher share prices!)
Warrents are issued by a company to raise money and represent a right to purchase future shares at a set price (Exercise Price.)
If the Market S.P. exceeds the Warrant Exercise price, Warrant Holders ("WH") can buy the shares a that lower exercise price and Niocorp will issue shares to the WHs. The WHs may keep them hoping for further increase in S.P., or they may sell them and realize an immediate profit on the spread between the current share price and the lower exercise price.
While the exercise will dilute the total number of issued shares, it will also result in an Income/Revenue item for Niocorp!
As LCP77 noted and Mopocle points out;
"7.4 million warrants at $.85 Cad expire in February. They would generate over $6.3 million if exercised."

Grunt;
Currently USD$.684. (An exhilarating ride today! At the end of the day what will the price be when we drop the ramp and wade up onto the beach!)
As the Subject Matter Expert on these matters are there still any warrants outstanding, or have they all expired? (Thank you!)
If yes, do you know the exercise price? (US$.76 is in my mind>)
Thanks! (Heading off computer to address "To Do" list items again.)
Boilermaker:
Just a thanks to you, Monocle, grunt, Landmark, and other long timers on this board whose reasoning and discussions have kept me in Niocorp.
You Trolls, on the other hand!
Not even entertaining!

"Middleborder you are 'very new' to this board - and Jim Sims probably didn't appreciate the cheekiness of your question!...you could try reframing your questions—after all these are Proffessionals in every sense of the word. So respect that. this is my opinion."
If someone who is NOT "very new" to this board wants to rephrase my (unposted and unread!) "Cheeky" questions and email Mr. Sims (Or those he employs to respond to inquiries) they are free to do so.
I told Monocle I would post the reply I received and have done so.
Monocle;
Well, he provided the boilerplate reply:
"I’m sorry, I am unable to provide any additional information on our project finance efforts unless and until definitive agreements are reached that are material to the Project and must therefore be publicly disclosed through broadly disseminated news releases."
A assume the fig leaf here is the "publicly disclosed through broadly disseminated news releases" etc.
Monocle
When he replies I will post it. (I expect tomorrow.) However, seeing some of the posts below it may be information Mark shared in the past but was not terribly well known to people who bought stock late. (Like me!)
Monocle;
I emailed J.S. for comment on the article.
Monocle; Are you sure this is Niocorp's Mark Smith?
"...It's the formation of what they have to put together that's taking the amount of time."
If correct, it sounds like the Finance group or Financier is trying to line up investors or get their papers in order. I would not doubt that this is happening, but why would he state this publically?
I dunnoh! I would think stating this out loud would result is all sorts of SEC problems.
Would be nice to consider though!
(Papieren? ummm...Alles in ordnung Herr Schmidt. (Shultz! Los Die Kraken!! :)
Toronto Pete;
What is more likely is that they obtain Commitments to finance the total or close to the anticipated total amount needed. If they have an actual disbursment of 20-30% of the amount needed they can begin site preparation operations.
They do not want to start paying or trading equity for interest on money that has not been disbursed for operations. They do need to know that the money will be available when needed. If they are working with a consortium it will probably involve at least one investment banker or partnership that committed to providing funds at a later time.

Thanks. Interesting to know. He/She/It drives posters legitimately interested in the stock off the board.
Jam the flush handle if one wants to listen to a toilet running or go to a kennel to listen to a dogs bark.
WeeWeBee; "Stock shouldn't be over 15 cents now and investors are seeing that...."
What about you, you smart person! If you are invested, why have you not sold your dumb prpcf investment??? OMG, Get out while you can!!!
Go listen to your own advice and sell and stop bothering the board! Do you think Management monitors this board to hear your shrill and ridiculous comments?
If you have no shares, why are you even here?? Maybe you are trying to talk shares down and buy some? Maybe you have them and want more!
Maybe you are a bot or maybe you just like harrassing the thread. Bring news or legitimate discussion to the board and stop peeing in everyone's coffee.
(Yes, I hope that your and everyone else's investments prosper!)
L.M., All I know....Bummer! SP back up and hovering around $.50. :)
For me, it was only going to be a couple hundred shares at the lower price, but the price went back up. (Shucks!)
Now if Financing holds off until January it would mean I could move/convert some more Niocorp shares from my IRA to my Roth at a lower pre-financing S.P! (**U.S. Retirement planning tip! Consider your Roth Conversion/contributions before year end!!)
The positive side is that for now I am in the green, my hope for everyone here!
To all U.S.citizen/nonresident aliens who capitulated/sold yesterday and was not in a tax advantaged account; Remember to retain your records for your tax preparer so that he can prepare your Sch D capital gains losses for your US tax filing!!! (**Free and obvious Tax Tip! :)
(Off to do chores.)
A.O. Boilermaker, and everyone else who contributed today, thanks for passing on all this information! It sounds like everything is planned out and in process except for funding....
Well, If I had anymore capital, I would invest more. Its Not prudent to sell bonds to buy stocks, so I won't. I am already overweight in Nicorp, so....watch and wait.
Off to bed.
A.O.!
"Zachary is my guess. We will probably find out at the meeting. "
Zachary it is! Good Call!
Maxz M.
"Eventually the share price will be driven by marketability, profitability and number of shares outstanding but we’re still three to four years away from that."
I think you are correct about share price. It might go up a little, but probably not a lot. There is probably no demand because most of the interested retail buyers are already invested to their risk limit.
Institutional investors are waiting, but want to see financing and the start of construction.
Just for fun bought 100 shares at US $.492 and then entered a day sell for 100 shares @ US$.55. Maybe someone enters a corresponding buy order for this amount right at closing and we get a little overnight bump up! Who knows!
Off to do chores!

So bot-like and one dimensional, so tedious, so predictable.
"Once again the market hasn’t responded in kind to the Tuesday morning Fluff PR....all hat, no cow"
Well tough guy/gal, whatever else you are sure as heck not wearing Resistol. But I won't call you a sitzpinkler or tell you to go and fluff yourself. (fusseln-selbst)
Since I came on this board this year, I can't recall any meaningful realistic contribution you ever made to this discussion.
(If I am wong someone correct me.)
Wagner;
"„Negotiations towards a formal EPC agreement between NioCorp and Cementation will be initiated in the near future, according to NioCorp.“
I am sure (as I think you are as well) that the formal agreement is Conditional on obtaining Financing.
Good luck to everyone this coming week!
Grunt23
You too!
(And to everyone else...hoping for more good news Monday or Tuesday!)
