Desert Mountain Energy pushes to reclaim helium on US critical minerals list, focuses on Arizona
"Helium exploration and production company Desert Mountain Energy has said it is working to get helium back on the United States Geological Survey’s (USGS) critical mineral list.
The company confirmed its efforts in a recent announcement, which also confirmed its efforts with stakeholders in Arizona to streamline helium extraction processes in the state.
Helium was removed from the USGS’s critical minerals list in November 2021. The USGS, an agency under the Department of the Interior (DOI), is required by the Energy Act of 2020 to refresh the list of critical minerals at least every three years.

Helium’s exclusion from the 2021 list was surprising, as it was included in 2018.
Robert Rohlfing, CEO of Desert Mountain Energy, said there is still work to be done, but the company is encouraged by the progress it has made and the meaningful conversations it has had.
He added, “The importance of helium to Arizona’s key industries is becoming increasingly recognised, and we are optimistic about the road ahead.”"

Chico Thanks! Summer and vacation are over, time for investors to start coming back!
Article regarding Indonesia proposing a Critical Minerals Trade deal. I think this will be mostly Nickle. No other metals or minerals are specifically mentioned.
https://www.reuters.com/business/indonesia-proposes-critical-minerals-trade-deal-with-us-2023-09-07/
"JAKARTA, Sept 7 (Reuters) - Indonesia has asked the United States to begin talks on a trade deal for critical minerals so that exports from the Southeast Asian country can be covered under the U.S. Inflation Reduction Act, an Indonesian ministry said on Thursday.
The request was made when Indonesian President Joko Widodo met with U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris on the sidelines of meetings hosted by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Under guidelines for the U.S. law issued in March, Washington has required that a certain amount of critical minerals in electric vehicle (EV) batteries be produced or assembled in North America or a free trade partner, for EVs sold in the United States to be eligible for tax credits.
Indonesia does not have a free trade agreement with the United States, but the resource-rich country has ambitions to become a major player in the manufacturing of EVs and their batteries, leveraging its vast nickel reserves....snip" more at link!
Aldrad...There, much better reply and maybe right, but you are posting mostly the same boilerplate you always post about NioCorp! Yes, we have all noted the decline in S/P.
Filling your posts with exclamations of Turd-this and Turd-that is seriously nasty and will not get people to pay attention. Put down the scat, stop shouting "Beware!" and "Lets Review!".
And Yes, while pictures of models and cars and people are much more likely to read what you have to say about Niocorp they will not hold anyones attention for long. (Better be a good relevant discussion.)
(The car is a Bently, and No I do not know the name of the probably underage Russian model.)
ALDRADJKD123 Still selling that scat load of NioCorp "Depressium?" and no one is buying it?
Tip....Your daily boilerplate makes you seem like part of a paid Mumbai or Singapore click farm.
On behalf of the group could you at least add pictures of supermodels or race cars or boats to at least make it more interesting as we quickly pass over it?
Sincere Thanks! :)
Antler. And not an everyday Troll, a scat flinging Troll.
Wasn't don't be vulgar one of the new community rules?? And of course there is no stock named "Nioturd" so they ought to be deleting any posts on that basis.
Duke; Although I did not see NioCorp mentions this discusses Kingdon Capital. (This is the hedge fund you want to know about?)
https://whalewisdom.com/filer/kingdon-capital-management-llc
"Kingdon Capital Management is based out of New York. Kingdon Capital Management is a hedge fund with 7 clients and discretionary assets under management (AUM) of $815,686,434 (Form ADV from 2023-03-24). Their last reported 13F filing for Q1 2023 included $531,823,938 in managed 13F securities and a top 10 holdings concentration of 37.47%. Kingdon Capital Management's largest holding is IVERIC bio Inc with shares held of 1,053,000. Kingdon Capital Management has met the qualifications for inclusion in our WhaleScore system. Whalewisdom has at least 96 13F filings, 2 13D filings, 196 13G filings, and 3 Form 4 filings"
I did not see NioCorp listed amount holdings or on on international short positions.
If you want you can go to:

And do more research by quarter.
Walter, thank you, that is reassuring. Things slow down in summer, I just hope that events start to pick up speed soon! (L3 refining results, process engineering mechanical updates, and an updated FP that EXIM will no doubt need.)
CritM3 Just thought seeing something that works it would be a nice break from the usual. Also enjoyed the views of NE and the well maintained farmland.
Hope that EXIM gets a kick in the ass to get them off the usual bureaucratic speed. (Slow...tortise....)
Whatever one thinks of M.S. or D.K. and the general failure of the SPAC they have lots of shares or warrants that don't have any value until the price goes up. Having a easterner Financier like D.K. who has hitched his horses to this wagon Might turn out to be positive. I do not think he likes to lose so the question is will he carry our shares along for the ride or do some side deal that more or less cuts long term holders out? (As the Bible says "Put not your trust in princes.")
Nebraska recent event. (NB / Elk Creek is in NE so...)
Steam train pushing stalled freight train in NE. Also has some nice views of Nebraska farmland! (Machines our parents and grandparents made.)

Vancouver, British Columbia, June 30, 2023 — DESERT MOUNTAIN ENERGY CORP. (the “Company”) (TSX.V: DME, U.S. OTC: DMEHF, Frankfurt: QM01) From the President of the Company. Desert Mountain Energy Corp. announces the immediate resignation of Jessica Davey from the Board of Directors. The Company thanks Jessica for her contribution and wishes her success in all future endeavours.
A.O. I think that was Radar at 97405?
He was looking at this:
https://fintel.io/ss/us/nb For June 16.
Short Interest shares - source: NASDAQ
Short Interest Ratio 1.83 Days to Cover
Short Interest % Float 0.80% - source: NASDAQ (short interest), Capital IQ (float)
Off-Exchange Short Volume 3,747 shares - source: FINRA (inc. Dark Pool volume)
Off-Exchange Short Volume Ratio 19.40 % - source: FINRA (inc. Dark Pool volume)
I am sorry I cant say that its correct. It would be excellent if the price began to rise and all the shorts had to scurry and buy to cover their positions.
(Today was 3rd Friday, options expiration, and that may have been in his mind?
Anyway, have a good weekend!

"...announces today that it has submitted an application to the Export-Import Bank of the United States (“EXIM”) for debt financing,,,"
Announces is the current action, and you are correct; "has submitted" could refer to any time in the past before June 6 and after March 6.
"Letter of Interest from EXIM in February 2023, as announced on March 6, 2023, with regard to EXIM’s potential interest in helping to finance the construction and development of the Elk Creek Project."
In spite of that ambiguity I think that the application was sent in the last couple of days or today so we are looking at December to next March for their determination.
(editing to add: I agree with JohnIII's earlier posted comment)

08:16 AM EDT, 06/06/2023 (MT Newswires) -- NioCorp Developments (NB) (NB.TO, NB) on Tuesday said it issued a notice to a financing partner requesting the purchase of 100,000 shares under a financing agreement reached earlier this year.
While the company, which is developing a Nebraska rare earths mine, did not identify the financing partner, it referenced a January agreement with funds advised by Yorkville Advisors Global that gave NioCorp the right to to sell up to US$65 million of shares over three years.
The price of the issued shares is set at 97% of the daily volume-weighted average price on the Nasdaq exchange.
NioCorp did not specify how it intends to use the funds.
Management has been buying. Not seeing a lot of news otherwise. Waiting for their presentation on June 6.

Chico; As always thanks for all the time and effort you put into assembling the information you post. It is extremely helpful to most readers of this thread.
D.B. Thanks.
5/11 Delay in filing quartly financials
5/16 Ms. Fernanda Reda Fenga Viana Klamas leaves the board for lack of time.
5/18 Approval to delay financial filings granted
5/19 Previous quarterly filing is restated.
While I want to connect these events Board members do not prepare financial statements, although they might approve them.
Did she have some special responsibility to review the Auditors work product? Or was she connected with the SPAC? Or was it as stated workload issues or tired of the lack of progress at NioCorp?

P.M., news item reported in Fidelity account for 5/10:
"New option listings for May 10th include Eyenovia (EYEN) , Kenvue Inc (KVUE), NB Stock (NB), and PKST Stock (PKST)."
This will probably result in more volitility but might encourge more instititional buyers off the sidelines. Maybe why it was up yesterday.
(Chico does a great presentation doesn't he!)
NCT 100% in agreement. I will not even get into what the "Leaders" who are throttling the U.S. are urgent about, but its more about kickbacks and restroom access and purloined pink luggage than National Defense.
PM. Gulls: They are scavangers and thieves everywhere and thoroughly hated. No chum for them to feed on here in the Kansas City area just landfill refuse.
Thanks Chico! Really appreciate your analysis while we wait!
We're all hanging out on our Long boards just waiting for that big wave!
Kasey; This is what I keep counting on when I make my small time to time purchases! I think we will be rewarded her pretty shortly! That other stock is just not going anywhere in spite of the merger! (At least it does not seem to be deflating much!)
DESERT MOUNTAIN ENERGY ISSUES A CORPORATE UPDATE
PR NEWSWIRE
9:00 AM ET 04/05/2023
VANCOUVER, BC, April 5, 2023 /PRNewswire/ - DESERT MOUNTAIN ENERGY CORP. (the "Company") (TSXV: DME) (U.S. OTC: DMEHF) (FSE: QM01) From the President of the Company. The Company is in the final stage of development that will lead to commercial production. The recently completed financing will allow the company to build all the infrastructure necessary and complete the start-up work necessary to bring six helium wells into production. The McCauley Helium Processing Facility (MHPF) is operational. Nitrogen and atmospheric air was injected into the facility at 250-500 psi and it successfully isolated all of the component elements. Nitrogen was vented off and other elements were separated during the process with trace amounts of helium identified at the end of the processing test.
Helium Wells 4, 5, 6 and 7 were shut-in with KCL fluid to prevent any unwanted release, migration or loss of any gas prior to putting them into production and to address the general security of the wells. After the MHPF was delivered in December 2022, the wells were physically connected (via underground piping and metering manifold) to the MHPF.
The Company is currently securing a swabbing rig in order to remove the fluid via tubing swab. Once that is accomplished, gas can start flowing into the MHPF. Each well will need approximately 3 to 7 days of work. DME expects the 60-to-90-day optimization program that will lead to commercial production will be completed by the end of April 2023.
"This small final step, leading into the plant operating and processing raw gas is a relatively low-risk operation," said Robert Rohlfing, CEO of DME. "We expect to be a vertically integrated primary producer of helium, selling commercial gas this quarter."
By the end of June or early July 2023, individual well performance should be completed and stabilized at the "optimum" long-term production rate. The Company will then know the production capability of the MCauley Helium Field (flow rates, pressures and final gas composition).
VALORIE FARLEY ACCEPTS THE CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER ROLE AT DESERT MOUNTAIN ENERGY CORP. (DMEHF)
The Company is pleased to announce that Valorie Farley has accepted the role as the next CFO of Desert Mountain Energy Corp. (DMEHF) Valorie is a CPA with experience in power generation and distribution, natural resources, regulatory and financial reporting, audits and real estate development. Scott Davis will continue to administer the Canadian side reporting, financial and audits to assure a smooth transition over the next number of months. This transition will also be including a change to the US GAP procedures and practices.
"I look forward to working with Scott Davis as we transition the accounting into the U.S.," said Valorie Farley. "One of the first jobs will be identifying tax rebates and government grants that the Company should be eligible to receive, based on our solar and hydrogen initiatives." Valorie will immediately assume the accounting for all of the Company's US corporations.
"We'd like to thank Cross Davis & Company's accounting team for the thorough work they have done and we look forward to maintaining that relationship as our company transitions and continues to experience growth," said Robert Rohlfing, CEO of DME. "This move is another significant step forward in fully developing our own internal accounting team facilitating our growth goals in North America and elsewhere."

TnT; Better to work the process flow out before you build the refining facility rather decide to modify it after. (I know...heard it before...)
"The work has demonstrated an exceptionally good separation between Niobium and Titanium, and substantially lower base metal impurities in these products than was achieved using the currently planned process."
The merger is in the rear view mirror. Management is currently attempting to get EXIM financing so THAT necessarily means delay.
However, I think that at this point they should enough money to start up local infrastructure (Road upgrade) or purchasing additional Land, maybe enough for Cementation contract and digging the two shafts so Scott can get a crew and drill down there to do additional coring. Depends on Scott's critical path planning.

Scooter83; th6565 Thanks for making sense out why its $16 now.
NE Thank you! So their incentive would be to not do a cashless exercise.
TH6565; IIRC forced warrant redemption would be around $18 per share exercise price. (Has to be at that price for something like 30 days.)
NE goodlife provided info about treasury shares and shelf issue.
NE I do not think there will be any problem with Cashless warrant exercise. What company wants their SP jerked around by people who have to redeem shares to exercise. Retain the cost of the exercised shares and give the holder shares equal to the difference.
What I wonder is if the shelf shares that were sold to pay for the exercise convert into retained treasury shares? (Which can be sold or issued at some later date?) Or do they just not access the shelf shares? They have to record the increase in their cash position and bottom line balance sheet so I suppose they need to increase the treasury shares. Do treasury shares count toward total dilution?? Question for corporate accountants. (Might have been covered in my accounting classes, but I do not remember the question or answer.)
Grunt, thanks for that link!
It contains good information for anyone holding warrants to provide to their brokerage firm when they decide or are required to exercise their warrants. (Might Save research time and confusion for the Customer Service rep on the other end of the phone line.)
2. Appointment of Successor Warrant Agent. The Company hereby appoints Computershare to serve as successor Warrant Agent under the Warrant Agreement and Continental hereby assigns, and Computershare hereby agrees to accept and assume, effective as of the Effective Time, all of Continental’s rights, interests and obligations in, and under the Warrant Agreement and Warrants, as Warrant Agent; provided, that, Computershare shall not assume any of Continental’s liabilities and obligations under the Warrant Agreement (as amended hereby) arising prior to the Effective Time.
I expect that as soon as the price gets above that $18 approx forced exercise price for 30 days NB will require exercise of all the warrants. (Just glad the they extended the exercise date out to 2028 (?)
A.O. Had to figure out to do with that board sometime. Glad they will keep it! I think it works well as a memento of Putz' foresight from back in 2016!
A.O. Got your message regarding the now closed P.M. NB board. No problem. In the end it closed and funned back to this board.
Thank you Walter! I appreciate your analysis and look forward to NioCorp's development of the Elk Creek mine and extraction facility.
After Mark rings the NASDQ bell we should get some additional announcements about the next steps they plan to take.
Hej Johanna! Good to hear from you! Gemischter Salat fur unser Picknik!
