I can see the reasoning behind that, Li wants lqmt listed on the Nasdaq, the only way that will happen is with a stable price and that only way to do that is to stop the volatile share manipulation of lqmt.
Slow accumulation will stabilise the share price and short players will get burnt as a result, oh what a shame.
March is plenty of time to ramp up production of parts for the new iPhone release in the fall.
Billionaire Li knows the value of good PR, even if its just a small part/s of any iPhone, the fact that LMT is manufacturing it will make LQMT Pop, Li will make a fortune from his 405m shares.
Hauck being the Only exec going on the record and quoted for the PR suggests that its a customer order that LMT has achieved, since Hauck is in charge of the MSR's.
Or maybe its one of the "transfer orders to the domestic" that Li has spoken about.
Either way, a new parts order can be the only reason behind the purchase.
LMT wouldn’t be ordering new machines for the fun of it, Li wont wast his own money even if its an Eontec machine, there must be a reason for buying it such as new orders for LMT :)
If we do need a special WIFI Modem you can be sure Apple is already working on the issue,

Yep another possibility for the next iPhone case, if its another glass sandwich like the iPhone 4 i hope this time they will make mention of the BMG frame that makes it possible. Or Li leaks some info on it.
No they are not fair questions, it sounds like an annoying 5 year old asking repetitive pointless questions,
Just read the Info sheet and you will have your questions answered.
Great Info Gamesc, thanks for the Link.
There are still lots of data missing, but from whats available it Seems like LQMT’s alloy is Slightly superior to EON’s alloy in areas such as Tensile, Compressive (although thats a comparison with die cast since no data for inject molded) and Flexural.
Might not be a factor unless the part required needs to be designed to withstand prolonged Fatigue cycles.
But where EON’s alloy really fails is in the BIO & Environmental section, and still many more Data points yet to be given. Seems to me there is more value in LQMT’s alloy than people have been giving it credit for, a case of “you get what you pay for” Li not only needs CIP but for certain applications he also needs LM105.
Some more possibilities for how wireless charging could work on the iPhone,

Abstract:
Unitary structures having conductive portions electrically separated by non-conductive portions are described. In some embodiments, the non-conductive portions are made of metal oxide. In some embodiments, the method involves an oxidizing process adapted to convert an entire thickness at a selected portion of a metal substrate to a metal oxide, thereby creating metal portions that are electrically isolated from one another. In some embodiments, the thickness of the metal substrate is reduced at certain regions prior to oxidizing in order to provide a sufficiently thin metal for complete oxidization through the entire thickness. In some embodiments, the oxidizing process involves a plasma electrolytic oxidation process. In some embodiments, the plasma is concentrated at certain regions of the substrate for preferential oxidation. Applications for the substrate include enclosures and electrical components for electronic devices that use radio frequency communication.
Which is similar to this,

Coincidence both Apple and Eontec have patents on Amorphous Apple Logos.
Is 14 years long enough?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liquidmetal
Good advice oneself should have payed heed too, a couple of decades ago.
Just saying.
Based on patents, which take years to be applied.
Agree 100%, Apple didn't want the untested, unproven manufacturing capabilities of LMT from becoming the next GTAT (who where Sapphire furnace manufactures, not actual Sapphire manufactures.
So Apple learned its mistake and the Li deal was formed, putting in charge a CEO who can deliver on manufacturing.
Maybe thats why Apple forged the Eontec deal, it didn't want to give start-up LQMT money like it did GTAT.
Coming from you thats the best evidence so far that it will be used (for more than internal, minor parts)
Inconceivable that Apple would spend so much on R&D and Patents just to shelve it.
Using Jabil (iPhone 5c injection molded on Engel machines) instead of Foxconn for the Flagship 10th anniversary iPhone could be the giveaway.
If Apple again doesn't mention its LiquidMetal, we always have Li's unannounced plans to fall back on, hopefully.
2 new BMG patents for the new year, its a no brainer Apple is heavily committed to BMG use.
The bastards just wont come out and state it except to say their devices are Magical.
CIP
Don't bother with any attempted cryptic reply,
if you haven't already noticed they are wearing thin on the board,
the facts alone make my question rhetorical.
There is no Logic.
edit: too late.
Help me understand the logic here, from your post,

Oh thats so easy for 'poster' to explain in just 1 word… SILENCE,
Do nothing, say nothing, reveal nothing, result? price spirals downwards to the preverbal 8 cents or less.
With the help MM’s, who not only list the stock but take up the slack, accumulate the said 100 million shares needed for absolute majority control and therefore private subscription rights (not the 400 million you claimed lolz)
Need to keep the discussion thread context Josh, can't alter your claims after the fact, this ain't a Trumptatorship.
Its just so damn easy to do right ? its nearly childsplay, just mushroom current bag holders, nothing new for those who have been bag holders for several years, myself included.
But the question posed to you was;
Lqmt is also the ONLY company that investors can invest in for Injection Molded BMG.
Got to love that precious CIP and big brother Apple protecting it/us.
DD is always welcome on this board, its only how the DD is interpreted that causes debates.
Which is normal, there is always several reasons behind every motive and several interpretations of that Motives.
Just keeping an open mind to the Positive and Negative possibilities,
While hoping for the best outcome.
lqmt is a great investment but there are no guarantees in life, or sure bets when investing.
I’m still holding tight onto my bag of lqmt, i’m hoping for the best, but got to be mindful of those curve balls, never see them coming.
Best to consider all possibilities, especially when we are being kept in the dark about the new manufacturing facility, why is that news being promoted?
"In order for Li to have dictatorship, he would have to offer stock buyback of about 100 millions shares."
From the very start i have said a buyback and retiring those shares by Li would be a dangerous sign,
100,000,000*0.22= $22 million, LMT has $65 million which the new CEO/COB and major holder can spend on a buyback. Lets see what unfolds, hope it doesn’t happen.
"I believe most of the outsider bagholder would welcome that news."
I wouldn't welcome that news at all, it would scare the cr@p out of me.
Li using LMT money to gain Complete Control of my shares, then what? Privatise it?!
Yes please do, it would serve us all to see what we have lost with Steipp's departure.
Now we are in Li's hands.
Can you provide more detail to the contrary ?
or was he bluffed by Li?
Time will tell.
No not true. Steipp issued new shares for the deal, could have had insiders sellout but they didn't.
Insiders holding strong, mostly, and would be happy to increase their % ownership especially after the Li deal diluted their holdings, Hmmm....
All Li has to do is get the insiders on his side, im sure they would do anything to preserve or even increase their % ownership of LMT. Old insiders of lqmt past are still insiders.
The only outsiders are use gamblers holding the bag.

Okay ichiban, it would take too long long to explain the difference between Japan and China. But before anyone else goes too far over the edge about the Asian billionaire that has taken the lead role here, let's make sure everyone understands that the idea
this ultimate insider will necessarily share your fate (and visa versa) is naive in the extreme. Many make that assumption, but anyone who understands how this works, knows that every last one of the outside investors can be washed out, whilst the insiders, especially one/those in near absolute control, can grant themselves brand new subscription rights, and the like, and leave you in the dust. Anyone who doubts this needs to go to school on it. I 'hope'
that Li will be the person that makes all of you/us rich. Just like I 'hope' that the Donald will too.
By the way, Warren Buffet long ago predicted Sears would go belly up, for those that were talking about Sears. Buffet is the real deal.
His early investors from Omaha are all rich as Croesus. Somehow, that is not what I foresee here.
WattUp wireless charging coming to iPhone latter this year.
..........In a phone call ahead of CES, Energous CEO Steve Rizzone said that wireless charging transmitters, which can charge devices wirelessly from several feet away, are now supposed to begin shipping by the end of 2017.........
...........Rizzone says the partnership is with "one of the largest consumer electronic companies in the world. I cannot tell you who it is, but I can virtual guarantee that you have products from this company on your person, sitting on your desk, or at home."........
Apple confirms $1 billion investment into SoftBank's 'Vision Fund' for tech business growth

Apple has confirmed its $1 billion investment in SoftBank's $100 billion SoftBank Vision Fund, of which, the upcoming Trump administration has claimed that $50 billion will be spent on U.S.-based businesses.
Dare i say it, the translations could be a scam.
