Is Apple playing games?

I think the Patently Apple editor sums it up best;

Hi Sam. The dates of the patents, The specifics of the patents. The clear identification of the patents focused on the iPhone with a 30 pin connector illustrate this has likely been a part of the iPhone for some time. At this stage of the game, it's clear to me that the back glassy material is the liquidmetal in glass form as the patent suggests.

I said this last week to you and I'll repeat it. I understand the doubt. I wish Apple would confirm using this material on record. Yet this is the second iPhone related patent that is as clear in language as can be and I do believe that it's used on the iPhone and why the marketing people chose to go with that theme of liquid gold for Apple's new TV ad. Not that it's gold, but that it's liquidmetal..
