Looks like Corning got caught off guard with the polycarbonate flexible displays being use for the folding phones. Now they are working on a flexible glass display that could be used for folding phones. Still a couple years away though. So what will the fruit company do?

Folding phones are going to be the next big step in phone technology. And BMG should be a part of it.
"If the outsider read some of the posts here about his company. I would think that he would be ashamed for most of the posts that doubt his intentions to succeed."
That is about the most truthful statement on this board. I hope that Li never reads this board as it has no reflection of the genuine appreciation I and many investors (not traders) have for what he has done for this company.
"Our stock does not benefit from revenues going to LQMT China."
Do you have proof of this?
We do not know how revenues will be allocated from mass production in China. To say unequivocally one way or the other is a false statement. The intent of my original post was CE is marketed by LQMT China and has never been marketed by LQMT US. This is nothing new.
Revenue is an entirely different discussion which everyone here has an opinion on. Based on the fact that mass production in China (for CE and/or non-CE) will be bringing in not tens, but hundreds of millions in revenue, and it is in Li's best interest as a shareholder to have some level of revenue go to LQMT US, and the fact that LQMT US only needs about $8M in revenue to get out of the red, this all leads me to believe that there will be some small percentage of revenue from LQMT China and its JV's to go back to LQMT US. I could not imagine Li would have gotten approval from Eon to purchase LQMT US shares and share its IP, not to have any level of revenue from China mass production back to LQMT US. That would be foolish and not be in line with Li's track record. You are literally talking about 1% or less of the level of revenue that will be made in China to make LQMT US profitable. So it sounds like a foolish argument to me to say that no revenue from mass production in China will come to LQMT US. All of the facts point the other way. Plus if they can ever make any revenue from LF, that is just gravy.
That is an old link, LQMT US has always noted their non-involvment in CE. LQMT China on the other hand very openly markets and promotes CE.
All mass production orders (i.e. CE) will be going through LQMT China.
So it is nothing new and no surprise that LQMT US makes this statement.
LQMT US has always publicly stated their non-involement with consumer electronics. This is nothing new. I am not sure why people think this is something new.
What you have pointed out is in reference to LQMT US. Not LQMT China. All mass production of BMG (both CE related and non-CE related) will be going through LQMT China.
I am going to go out on a limb and guess that Li knows what he is doing and purchased common shares of stock in LQMT US for good reason.
Interesting find, 20321 Valencia LLC has an address of 30452 Esperanza Rancho Santa Margarita CA 92688.
This is a 15,000 square foot warehouse building. Looks to be rented or leased.

The link you provided shows 20321 Valencia LLC to be related to Liquidmetal Technologies.
Your link also notes Liquidmetal Coatings to be related to Liquidmetal Technologies. Don't know the origin of your link or if legit, but it shows some interesting info.

Do you have evidence that the utility is paying any part of this electric upgrade? It is generally the customer who directly pays all costs of extending the utility to their property along with and upgrades/improvements needed. So I believe this will be a direct cost to LQMT that will show up in their financials. Utility is not going to take that risk.
No titanium in 106c, the titanium is the equivalent of the zirconium in our formula.
https://technews.tw/2019/02/27/toshiba-new-ev-niobium-battery/
"Toshiba has developed a new lithium-ion battery that can be rapidly charged and has a long life"
"According to the report, the new lithium-ion battery developed by Toshiba is used to charge the battery negative electrode by using a rare metal "niobium" as a material to achieve high capacity"
"...to jointly develop niobium-titanium oxide (NTO, Niobium Titanium Oxide's cathode material for lithium-ion batteries aims to develop a next-generation lithium-ion battery material for electric vehicles that has high energy density and can be rapidly charged."
Why am I posting this? Does anyone know what the new "magic" ingredient is in 106C?
Yes, its Niobium! Toshiba's NTO material for the new battery electrode is their equivalent of LQMT 106C. Huawei is working on developing their own batteries for electric cars. 106C may be part of that development. I think Li has much bigger plans for 106C than just CE.
Thank you for your efforts.
Sure, now why don't you explain this patent and how it relates to CE mass production???
Apples most recent patents are written in generic enough form to use any amorphous material and the patents are assigned to Apple (not CIP or glassimetal). So there is no implication of any preferred choice specifically in any recent patents.
No proof of that other than a few patents. We know Foxconn has a contract with Eon, and we know Foxconn has an amorphous division in China. So if any amorphous materials are being produced for Apple at present, they are coming out of Foxconn China. Glassimetal isn't even close to mass production.
No, just pointing out Apples recent BMG patent. Who knows what they will do. They seem to be a follower now and not a leader.
No, nothing in current financials. OPPO sells in both Asia and Europe. When this phone (and possibly other models with pop up camera) hits the market in Europe, later this year, then yes I do see some royalty revenue back to LQMT.
Here’s a good look at OPPO’s new foldable phablet with pop up selfing camera.

Josh posted this patent recently from Apple about a folding display electronic device that uses memory shape amorphous metal (BMG).
http://appft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parser?Sect1=PTO1&Sect2=HITOFF&p=1&u=/netahtml/PTO/srchnum.html&r=1&f=G&l=50&d=PG01&s1=20170336831.PGNR
Apple also recently released another patent for an electronic device with folding display, but this patent calls out “Nitinol” as the supporting material. This is a metal of half nickel half titanium. Much more expensive and difficult to work with plus allergy/health concern of nickel. It seems odd to do this but they do put many patents out to cover anything and everything. We will see if they play ball with Li now or continue on their decline.

Good overview on all the foldables released this week. I agree with the author that this is a huge leap forward in phone technology.
https://www.theverge.com/2019/2/27/18242704/samsung-galaxy-fold-huawei-mate-x-royole-flexpai-foldable-phones-mwc-2019
It will happen slowly if the company continues to quietly penetrate the market. Or will happen quickly if formal production contracts are announced. Likely announced out of China as that is where the mass production will be. Give it time and step back and look at the big picture, it is happening.
Yes, this is an long term investment not for the faint of heart. I am can say that I am finally confident that we (LQMT) will see improved in revenues and share price in 2019. One just needs patience.
Just getting tired of a handful of posters here doing all the leg work. I am starting to sound like the old 2012 Watts now. SMH
Instead of lazily asking everyone else to do your work, why don't you go and research Eon's partner companies for yourself? The info is out there if you are willing to make any type of effort.
This may be the real liquid metal star in the end, Huawei P30. Looks like a dummy model was released at MWC today and it looks to have a glass back. So this could be the high volume midframe we are waiting for. Due for release in March.
https://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/huawei-p30-pro-exclusive-news/
I wonder if this is the same hinge as the Huawei Mate. Looks almost identical to the Mate.
Apple needs to do something quickly as they are having their lunch handed to them. The Execs and Board seem to live in their own world, detached from reality. Shareholders will not wait until 2020.
Xiaomi announces fist 5G phone: Mi Mix 3 5G
Bezel-less with ceramic body?

We need high volume midframes. Hinges are not high volume, yet.
Yes, this "sLimcell" battery was developed by Don Sadoway (MIT) and it has nothing to do with BMG. The author of that blog which you posted, I think was a little confused and over zealous. SLimcell, is a flexible, lightweight battery made of different polymers.
Now, Sadoway developed another, different, battery called "liquid metal" battery and is still working on this start up company called Ambri. Again, this battery had nothing to do with BMG. This was debated back in 2012 on this board. I think this is where that blog writer got confused as Sadoway invented both batteries.
So unless this blog writer knows something else Huawei is working on, I don't think this is BMG. If you have any other information, I would be glad to read it.
As an aside, Apple does have a patent for BMG collector plates in a fuel cell. Never materialized.
Maybe not "revolutionary" but still a huge improvement that is capable of large sales volumes for smart phones (not just folding phones) in the near future. Note, Samsung Fold has two batteries, one on either side.
Let's see what Huawei says next week about the release date of the P30. I think Josh stated that Eon requested and received an extension to release their next report out to April 26th.
You claim to be a long time shareholder. At what point in your long experience with LQMT have they ever been open and transparent with shareholders? Why are you now expecting something different?
Reposting - Eontec Q&A:
Question: 2019?02?20? 14:06
Excuse me, Apple $20 million obtained LQMT company permanent irrevocable global patent exclusive license, at present still valid. Is there any legal barrier to the sale of your liquid metal products in the United States or around the world.
Eon Response: 2019?02?21? 15:11
How do you do? Thank you for your attention to the company.LQMT's patented use of consumer electronics products has authorized Apple, and the rest is free to use. LQMT's scientific department has also been communicating with Apple. In addition to the exclusive use of LQMT patents in Asia (excluding consumer electronics), Yian itself has many more suitable patent formulations, so global sales are accessible. Thanks!
http://irm.cninfo.com.cn/ircs/interaction/viewQuestionForSzse.do?questionId=6251836
Wow! This reads pretty clear to me that LQMT is clear to use their products in their territories in CE. I am actually quite surprised that the question was answered so directly.
OPPO Foldable Phone coming soon, revealed by new patent.
https://www.gizchina.com/2019/02/17/oppo-foldable-phone-revealed-patent/
“What is different in the forthcoming smartphones will definitely be the hinge design. The future seems to have a lot of foldable smartphones but innovation in hinge design is going to be the most important factor for the success of that particular device. It will be interesting to see in the coming months how manufacturers are innovating.
Oppo seems to have gone with a seemingly complex metallic hinge that will fold in a way similar to corrugated cardboard. Only time will tell if this is a design that will last.”
Samsung Galaxy Fold
https://www.theverge.com/2019/2/20/18231249/samsung-galaxy-fold-folding-phone-features-screen-photos-size-announcement
On sale end of April. From article: "Samsung has built a sturdy backbone to the device, with a hinge system that has multiple interlocking gears. All of these gears are hidden at the rear of the device, and allow the Galaxy Fold to transform from tablet to phone modes."
106c was developed jointly between LQMT and Yihao Metal ( not Eontec).
If memory serves correctly, June was the scheduled date of the R&D facility with the production facility coming later...maybe October.
Does say BMG....where are you getting that from?
Only talks about ceramic casing. Nothing to do with BMG.
