Then there is no reason to do Money Tv...If you step in dog sh*t most people take their shoes off before entering a house.
How profound! The point is that a discovery of this magnitude does not remain hidden for 13 years..especially after Qsep has been making these claims over and over with its electro magnetic treatment for fuel injected engines or its magnetic bolt on high rise for normally aspirated motors to its great white magic pipe. None of these devices ever got to market and suddenly vanish. Besides the actual effect Tao has claimed and its supposedly broad application would have been discovered decades ago with many applications in field today.
Watch the documentary on Theranos and see supposed sophisticated early investors get duped out of millions. The only real requirement to do so is claim to change the world and have no problem twisting the truth to do it! Sound familiar?
“AOT has not been in development for 21 years, much less, and it’s taken time to create commercial pipeline testing opportunities with the majors. Anyone who thinks getting a new pipeline technology adopted by the highly regulated and scrutinized oil Pipeline industry quicker than several years of verification and modification knows nothing about the pipeline industry
And shouldn’t even be commenting on the space. Especially when we’re talking about changing the very nature of the way oil is transported. “
Oh yes the extensive sales and marketing campaign has taken years to have an effect....lol!!! oh wait Qsep has no industry exposure or a developed marketing and distribution network. At this rate Aot will come to market soon after the Sun consumes all of its hydrogen!
After 13 years the company is again only at the pilot stage and this time had to pay cash upfront before the partner( always makes me chuckle) accepted the great white pipe!
The absurdity of claiming Aot will change the nature of oil transportation is my personal favorite. This fantasy is as realistic as the theory that magnetic fields magically transforming heavy crude for 100 hours on a turbulent pipeline. Ain’t possible. Watch as the story shifts from diluent reducer to flow enhancer or some other benefit that will be difficult to quantify.
Dude I have no idea if this new weed venture plays out but the imaging device company that they merged with was a train wreck that used Money TV extensively and one of the jokes of the show was that CEO would keep his cell phone on so he could call him directly with the news that dominion cleared the Fda. Ceo would say crap like : “Not a matter of if (getting fda approval) only when...” It was insane....now they do it again!
Old Dons rep speaks for itself and he has been in hot water with the SEC over the promotion of the Palowania tree which claimed to grow a foot a day! The peddling of goat carcasses was pretty much the top of his game! Gotta hand it to him though. All the dog crap companies that go on his show must pay him cash! Then the magic word come out: “Initiating coverage”
https://www.sec.gov/litigation/litreleases/lr18190.htm
No argument questioning the outlandish claims of Qsep has been squashed. Efficacy of any of Qsep so called products have never been proven, just like the hundreds of pseudo products that exist today that claim magical results but fail to pass the smell test.
It’s actually comical to watch pundits argue that it’s only a matter of time before the world wakes up to the magic of the great white pipe even though the company had been trying to pawn off its alleged technology in various forms for last 21 years! H
Every new management team that is brought in claims things will be different this time, but it’s always the same result. Pilot test here...continues interest there...cash burn always!
How is it possible that a public company who defrauded its investors can re-emerges and go back to well with a different story?
“
Why do you keep talkin about the million dollars that QSEP owes Temple...? DO YOU REALLY THINK THAT THAT'S BIG MONEY IN THIS GAME? QSEP just handed a half a million dollars to the partner pipeline operator without blinking an eye.
“
Qsep is basically insolvent and has no where near the capital to pay off its currents debt nor to use for marketing and sales force development or unforeseen engineering reworks.
The licensing due is 1.2M which might be peanuts to some but with interest of 10% it adds up quick to 120k a year just in interest while the principal keeps rising. 187K gets added each year every year as maintenance fees for the two licensing agreements stack up. It’s the gift that keeps giving! No sane company would enter into any contract to buy or commission the great white pipes from a company that has a lingering licensing debt on its books for years. That’s why 500k was forked over. If they failed to get a pilot...the pps would have cratered! Also, Qsep is currently in default on one of these licensing agreements which is typically a rocket red flare fitted with a nuclear tip. Anybody looking past page 3 of a prospectus would spot it clearly. A real enterprise does not play chicken with its brand or technology!
“
Had you ever stoped to think that the AOT might not need to be placed after a pump station to be effective??? Perhaps we can possibly call the AOT a "PUMP STATION PLUS". I can foresee pump stations being built with the AOT technology Incorporated into the design. Even if the AOT had less-than-stellar results, couldn't you see a licensing deal being done with pump station building companies??? AOT 2.0 BABY...
That would free QSEP from the responsibility of building AOT'S at all... The companies that build pumping stations would do all the work and we would just collect licensing/toll fees”
Oh you mean they would just license the tech to pump manufactures and sit back get fat printing money....such a great dream but chances of that happening are infinitesimally small. Besides Qsep has never attended a single trade or commerce event where these type of deal
get done. Also...the company owes Temple over a million dollars for the right to this alleged tech with 10% interest clicking off every year. Even the most ardent Qsep supporter has to wonder why this issue never goes goes away gets resolved into commission only arrangement. Instead more nanocap conferences!
Yeah...I have zero understanding of trying to be convinced that Qsep is world changing disruptive technology that’s been hiding in the otc for over 20 year! Must be comedy Friday!
“I'm not sure if this helps or not, but I know customers have sited one reason they want AOT is because they were going to install a pump station, they didn't want the heavy cost, and instead wanted to replace the pump station with AOT instead. Saving them hundreds of thousands of dollars per pump station. “
Lol! Only Helps the fluff campaign that promotes the impossible! Aot will never replace diluents or pump stations and even by qsep own investor tear sheet estimates its magic pipe only reduces diluent use from a fraction of 30% to 25.5%. Not exactly disrupting or replacing anything!
“why would you go looking for support from the industry when you are an industry disrupter?
they know the industry will come to them when they get in the right position
“
Perhaps then most ridiculous conclusion ever stated on why Qsep doesn’t attend trade shows that sell and service the pipeline industry! Ha!
Seriously..these idiots still doing Don B show! What a load of crap! Here is the crew of misfits CEOs who have been defrocked, discussing bashing internet trolls...who took down each of their companies which were nothing more than shells for a lifestyle public company that did nothing but further managements own self interest. Now they go to the well. Why??? Please spare me the awareness bs...Don B still waiting for a phone call from former imaging3 CEO that it’s device has been approved by the FDA or that his venture with Brain Altounian brain child company alliance acquisitions is ready for its close up! All failures...now current management looking to distance themselves from the pile horse crap...goes back on the show! Ha!!!
Nothing has changed.
Wow a paid for consultant. Never before seen in penny land.
Lol...industry disruptor that’s actually funny! Well since Aot does not replace diluents how is that disruptive? Seriously Qsep has claimed all of its products for the last 21 years are game changing and is disruptive but the fact is that they have never proven any of it and fortunately for management it’s investors are content to cut them a dozen chances and give them Cart Blanche to dilute its base year after year.
“The fact that the AOT is currently on or being installed on a pipeline is very positive. Let’s all look forward to the results .”
Aot has been installed on several pipelines with zero results. Company has claimed fantastic results in the past and I’m sure will do so again. Electra and Magchgr products were claimed to be proven effective beyond imagination yet not single unit sold.
The point is if a company is actually serious about getting market shares it would be at major industry event across the globe. Instead they send the CFO who operates out of his home in California to hock convertible notes to fresh new investors. No sales or distribution network or developed presence in O&G markets....just more paper pushing.
As far as results..I have no doubt that Qsep will claim its test is fantastic but that’s all investor will get. Meanwhile every Tom,Dick and Harry that walks through this site will be a new promotional opportunity! It’s the same game different day.
No I’m talking just about every investor that bought imaging 3 based on the claims and promises of a revolutionary medical imaging device that was going to clear the FDA hurdles with little effort. Well it didn’t come close.
This company was about selling paper not medical devices.
Interesting that the Qsep CFO attends another nanocap conference in swanky Bel Air Ca but the company itself doesn’t attend one major oil and gas industry trade shows anywhere on the planet. When a company after twenty some years of trying doesn’t have a marketing presence or developed sales team within the industry segment they want to penetrate...well then the product they are selling is clearly paper.
Yes I understand the shell game. Not much comfort to the many who got soaked. Good luck with the new shell. I guess anything is possible with the new green wave.
Ahhhh they are paying for it...that’s how. How much or how long and with whom is unknown. Is it on a test loop or in bypass...nobody knows and before the champagne corks get popped again in another series of getting a test victory dance....pundits should consider the end goal which is to achieve sales. That has been an elusive milestone for the last twenty years of trying and I see no imminent contracts on the table. Who and what test Qsep products is meaningless until they step up and pay for it. Assuming a company that failed to deliver any of its lofty promises in the past suddenly completed its rehab stint and is now ready for its closeup...is not a reason for investing in the great white magic pipe.
“You won't even concede that it is easier to move a greater mass of crude oil through a pipeline if it were somehow made less viscous. “
Yeah I have a problem with products based on the scientific property of: “Somehow made less viscous” Any pundit claim of efficacy requires a leap of faith to believe that magic happens in the great white pipe even though it’s not observed in nature and they never produce a single viable oil flow related product for over 13 years!!! That is just the oil treatment side...The fuel injection nonsense was 21 years ago! Qsep has a better shot doing a Reverse Merger with a pot stock which is all the rage now.
No at all... I’m saying that the general concept of increased flow has been distorted by management for years to sell stock when their job was to sell product and turn the company into a legitimate business. As for the choke point, obviously if a line has a bottleneck and an operator can add something to elevate that reduction to get back at nominal production levels, then this would be a benefit but I don’t believe in the science behind qsep products to act as an long acting instant viscosity reduction system while also suppressing turbulence while operating at high Reynolds Numbers. I also don’t put much faith believe in copper bracelets for health , Magnetic Water conditioning devices and fuel saving magnets. I note that these devices are sold readily throughout retail so Its possible Aot somehow could be beneficial...maybe in some very unheard of situation with heavy buildup of precipitate with certain pipe geometry...or if some pipeline operator wants to promote a new greener brand initiative. Who knows...all I know is if Tao discovered this phenomena in 2006 then the world industries would have adopted many application by now. They haven’t...in business you don’t get 10 chances.
I have no problem with your analogy only differ with the assumption that Aot can have the same result as a diluent injection point and that it also simultaneous behaved as a DRA. If Aot has some other property that may be used in certain situations to debottleneck a line and achieving its normal run rate then I can’t necessary disagree and say no application could ever exists buts it not a 100 hour viscosity reduction. That is how management has presented its products that have been DOA for 13 years.
Dominion has no value. Even if it did actually produce 3D real time images the FDA found its usefulness questionable. Now at the company authorized the cost of doing clinical trials. Not happening
“
The blood related science is going through medical trial right now, and that is a multi million dollar process to undertake, I guess spending that sort of money means they are very confident. “
Wait you mean there are clinicaltrails for the Eblood diluent Bug zapper??? Not a chance!
A nice dream but facts are facts. Listing requirements are as follows. The only standard that comes even close is standard 4 and that would require 80 million in assets and 55 million stockholder Equity plus a $4 pps! Maybe Qsep should concentrate on getting to the upper tier of the Otc first before such lofty goals but that doesn’t attract any fresh blood!
Standard No. 1: Earnings
The company must have aggregate pre-tax earnings in the prior three years of at least $11 million, in the previous two years at least $2.2 million, and no single year in the prior three years can have a net loss.
Standard No. 2: Capitalization with Cash Flow
The company must have a minimum aggregate cash flow of at least $27.5 million for the past three fiscal years, with no negative cash flow in any of those three years. Also, its average market capitalization over the prior 12 months must be at least $550 million, and revenues in the previous fiscal year must be $110 million, minimum.
Standard No. 3: Capitalization with Revenue
Companies can be removed from the cash flow requirement of the second standard if its average market capitalization over the past 12 months is at least $850 million and revenues over the prior fiscal year are at least $90 million.
Standard No. 4: Assets with Equity
Companies can eliminate the cash flow and revenue requirements, and decrease its marketing capitalization requirements to $160 million if their total assets total at least $80 million and their stockholders' equity is at least $55 million.
“
They had already stumped up that 500k bond. “
It’s not a bond it’s a cash deposit for payment against a workorder to be preformed by a pipeline operator.
Those dollars are gone and will never be returned no matter how vigorous pundits swirl the fluff around purporting that it a refundable insurance policy. It’s an insurance policy for the operator to insure they get paid! Temple should take a clue! Lol!!!!
“they mentioned on that call that have plans to uplist to Nasdaq, and have recently had a meeting with their IR firm regarding this to prepare for it and meet the necessary requirements.”
Another nonsense prediction that has been predicted for 20 years and cannot be achieved without actual sales. Qsep has no where near the listing requirements in terms of sales or earnings or cash flow!
You mean like Tao who claimed a 1000 ft wall would mitigate central US tornado occurrences....or how blood pressure would drop if you put your arm in MRI strength magnetic field..or how fuel
Mileage suddenly and magically increases by a whopping 15% simply by attaching an electromagnetic magic box to a diesel fuel line or how zapping chocolate would reduce fat content Ha!
“The problem is you think the statement that output must equal input precludes the AOT from being able to increase crude oil delivery.
“
Huh? So here we are back at the mass flow issue which we have debated for years. Not every Qsep investor tear sheet first listed benefit is Increased pipeline flow but anyone that followed this equity understand it means as compared to undiluted crude.
If Aot claims to move a greater mass fraction of crude as compared to normally diluted crude then it is moving more crude mass per unit of time. Density doesn’t change, heat isn’t added only a magnetic field which we are to believe allows more mass to transported when the magic pipe is turned on. That’s been the claim for years and it’s patently false and used by management to conjure up the optical illusion of more Crude flowing out of a pipeline and $$$ flying into the pockets of Qsep investors. It’s a common OTC dream but the physical laws of nature always prevail. Crude cannot suddenly be converted into a liquid that exhibits strong anisotropic viscosity which cannot happen without engineering the specific liquid into a ferro fluid or engineer that property by other chemical processes. Batched crude is not influenced by magnetic fields in this manner.
Qsep has been claiming Aot increases pipeline flow for over a decade! I can post a dozen PR’s that say exactly that! Its been abundantly clear for years that a top to bottom outfitting would need to take place for Qsep to even begin to make that claim. Now this suddenly becomes a “straw man argument”! This beyond absurd! I and many others have understood the mass flow issues for years but anything that is brought out to counter the magic pipe narrative is met with this type of derisive analysis. Simply put..in the best case scenario where Aot actually does what has been claimed, then Aot is simply a power saving device. Any characterization of it as a turbulent reduction system that’s exhibits laminar pressure gradients when pumped at turbulent velocity and has a 100 hour effectiveness is complete BS.
When Qsep chief scientist and inventor of this alleged technology claimed blood could also be thinned by a magnetic version of the Aot. A Yale professor said:
“The simplistic extrapolation from this contrived and temporary effect to improving blood flow and thereby reducing risk of heart attacks, however, is unjustified and misleading. Further, any attempt to use this study as a justification for clinical claims made for weak permanent magnets is beyond misleading , in the realm of the absurd.
“
This is the scientific figurehead of the company!
Mother Nature and the laws of conservation are unaffected by arguments. You are correct though...Aot will have no effect on an operational pipeline output unless its outfitted from top to bottom at every pump station and truly is magic in its immediate and long term viscosity reduction . The pipelines output must equal the input. This is a fact that no amount of fluffery can change.
The point being and seldom accepted is that Aot claims to drop viscosity. If it’s placed in the middle of the line then the output will equal exactly the input over the same period of time. Now Qsep can claim Aot can reduce pumping station power usage but the notion of “increasing pipeline flow rates” is just pure puffery. They are claiming increase flow rates because they supposedly can reduce diluents and therefore transport a higher fraction of crude mass. This of course assumes the entire line is outfitted starting with pump station #1.
Crackpot... no, simply a law of nature that can’t be muddled over by internet experts. Rate of Mass in must equal rate of Mass out and no amount of magic will change this. Qsep is at best a power saving device and the whole concept it will move a higher mass flow is just BS cooked up by management to make the ROI excellent templates look amazing...it’s none-sense.
Yeah funny how mother nature slaps down fluffery!
“In fluid dynamics, the continuity equation states that the rate at which mass enters a system is equal to the rate at which mass leaves the system plus the accumulation of mass within the system. ... ? is fluid density, t is time, u is the flow velocity vector field.”
Another violation of the law of continuity gleefully submitted by tornado Tao!
Typical for Qsep fans to celebrate before a victory..just because someone agrees to accept money for consultation does not prove the efficacy of the device or confirm any of Tao’s whacky theories. He is brought in to pitch whatever they can cook up..optically it’s a good move. The problem is the Aot efficacy has little correlation to its growing list of paid participants. At least new management knows they need to put distance between them and Tao. Remember though...the company finances go critical in one more Q. That means back to the well!
His major publication within the last decade include blood pressure reduction with magnets! Why any management team would select him as the go to guy is frankly beyond reason. Qsep did hire a legit prof a few year ago who was a fluid dynamic prof at UCSB. I’m sure he is privy to the real truth of efficacy. It’s interesting they point to a discovered heating effect shortly after engaging Meinhart. So yes viscosity might be slightly reduced but it because of heating not magic clumping! Joule heating was the best shot with legitimate explanation of the effect but they soon shelved that too. Didn’t make a very prop!
“
1.Please explain why we are about to go on another pipeline of a major multi-billion dollar energy company to test the AOT's ability to reduce viscosity of crude oil with an electric field. “
Because Qsep could not find willing partner so they had to paid for it to get access to the tune of 500k plus maintenance and who knows what else! It’s interesting this is used as proof but nobody knows who what or where...Apparently opaque is the the new transparent.
“
2.Please explain the report from the second largest Chinese oil company verifying that Dr. Tao's electric field did in fact reduce the viscosity of crude oil.”
China??? Please they will say anything and anything stated is easily manipulated. Pundits now want to believe it was all admin issues but the fact is clear no orders no continued testing no modifications means no benefit was provided other than fluff that management can continue to distort into false hope.
“
3.Please explain how the AOT was run for one week, 24 hours a day, on a live pipeline in China achieving "results consistent with" the amazing lab test results I highlighted in post #46965. “
Lol...dude. 24 hour run is not even a test is not the methodology
Pipeline operation use when testing new technology. They take months of trails in all kinds of weather with varying batches of oil. If they pulled it off the line in 24hrs something major was wrong and it was likely to go boom!
“
4.Please explain how the engineers working for the DOE verified test results indicating the viscosity of crude oil was reduced by the AOT.”
Doe conclusion of the report said; “ may warrant further investigation” yet they would not fund additional
Tests...wow what a great vote of confidence with test that flawed from the get go.
“5.Please explain how ATS concluded that the AOT reduced viscosity of crude oil treated on the TransCanada pipeline. Don't throw in the red herring about the initial test being flawed. ATS said that a subsequent test showed viscosity reduction and that it could have been better if the engineering of the device was improved. “
Coulda woulda shoulda....no legit company delivers a poorly engineered device on its only shot on a major line and then screws the pooch on successive tries. Tcpl failed then Kmcc...yet all of it is spun as a success. Qsep must believe its shareholders will never examine the actual facts with any level of scrutiny...but I will!
“
I would argue that the main reason QSEP did not move into sales earlier is 1) the AOT was not completely ready for prime time. It had promising results but needed trial and error to be perfected at a commercial scale and 2) ineffective management. “
One most plausible scenario is left out which is the inventor in his zeal to make a name for himself fudged the data and results so the company could continue to raise additional funds. It’s funny the technical figurehead of the company is never blamed for any issues with the products efficacy. This after we know that Tao is not an industrial engineer adept at launching any new product based on his theories. Qsep should have partnered with MIT or Caltech or some other major tech university that is a leader in the field...not some mid tier college prof willing to get paid to play. Honestly...some day an action against a complicit university like Temple will take place for basically selling legitimacy to companies on the OTC. Paying a reoccurring licensing fee for 13 years with zero results is just insanity. No micro cap would fork over its cash resources for this type of amateur research and development. Qsep can’t even negotiate out of this yearly nut and is now paying 10% a year interest on the mounting million dollars of back fees owed to Temple.
