well, it didn't take long after yesterday. fell below .02 about 6 mins after the market opened. still quite a bit of bid support at .019 or higher. we're seeing some sells go thru, but really not too bad given it broke the trendline. i guess we'll have to see whether it picks up or not.
Most recent short interest numbers published today (below). So, most of the shares that were short in mid January (771k) were covered by the end of January. I don't think there is much to read into these numbers, but just thought I would publish them.

wow, it held .02. thought it would surely drop below. i guess tomorrow becomes the day where we really see which way it will go.
well, you must not read the charts very well as it will not trade in the channel forever. as i posted last night, i said today would be the day it would move one way or another. my assumption was that it would move down (as it appears to be doing). it was in a bullish pennant pattern and did not break thru the resistance. rather, it looks to be breaking to the down side. klipper offered a very nice video in a post below. i would encourage you to watch it.
Yes, Bill. Everyone here is familiar with the dilution. We post about it quite consistently.
never said that. simply said, there is no liquidity. certainly, if you can buy at .07 and sell at 2.40, that would be great. but you need liquidity to sell. otherwise, your trapping your money.
if you saw a spread of .07 and 2.40, would you buy someone's shares for 2.40?
LoL! Worth the risk? Of course a low OS is a good thing. But you need liquidity or you won't get out. Terrible idea to buy into a stock with no liquidity.
Worth a try? Again, no liquidity in AWSH. What would be the point in buying if you can't realize a profit?
why would you buy shares of ENCP? There's NO LIQUIDITY. average volume of only 2,000 shares. if you buy, you'll never get out.
Like right now, bid support evaporated at .02. No more MMs on the bid at .02. It will likely fall below. A move below .02 will likely trigger bearish activity.
NITE is the abbreviation for Knight Capital Group. They are a market maker. Market makers are responsible for filling buy/sell orders. For example, if your brokerage is Scottrade, you go onto your Scottrade account and tell them you want to buy 10,000 shares of TDCP at .02. Scottrade then calls a market maker like NITE and says, "Hey, I have a customer who wants to buy 10,000 shares of TDCP at .02. Can you fill our order?" NITE will typically say, "Yes" if the .02 is on the Ask. They essentially "make the market" so to speak. Here is a formal definition: http://www.investopedia.com/terms/m/marketmaker.asp
You can view what the market makers are willing to buy and sell the stock at on something called Level 2. Typically, you have to pay for this service or your brokerage account may give it to you for free if you do a lot of business with them. You can view free versions around the net such as at: http://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/TDCP/quote Sometimes the free versions will not give you real-time quotes or will not provide you with all of the market makers who are actually participating.
Level 2s don't really mean a lot on the bigger boards, but they are very important on OTCBB and Pink stocks. In watching them, you will get an idea for how strong various support and resistance lines are. For example, if a lot of market makers are lined up on the bid at .02, that likely means a lot of shares will need to be sold to drop below .02. If a lot of market makers are lined up on the ask at .021, that means a lot of shares will probably have to be bought to move up. If you watch carefully, you can also sometimes tell which market maker is diluting shares on someone's behalf.
Market makers typically have different reputations as well. For example, NITE is the largest and typically controls the action on most stocks. So, they are important to watch. Others are known to be the market makers that 3rd parties turn to when they want to dilute.
Studying Level 2s and market makers is quite the task , but is very important for anyone who takes trading OTCBB and Pink stocks seriously. If you're interested in learning more, shoot me a PM and I'll send you some various helpful links.
looks like we'll continue to trade in this channel. Level 2 shows solid bid support at .02 with six MMs (CSTI, VFIN, NITE, ETMM, VERT and UBSS). ETMM, VERT, and UBSS on the ask at .0205 and CSTI and NITE on the ask at .021. seems like it will need a lot of volume to move either way.
some orders coming thru at the bid. bid support still strong at .02 and higher tho.
looking at the chart, i think tomorrow will be the day we see it break the pattern up or down. jmo.
let me put it this way...i could care less
actually the lack of trading action could be good. it means even after yesterday, there are not many sellers. the open at .0052 gives the stock a long white candlestick which looks nice on any chart.
balanced? hardly.
it was actually 1,988,373 "sells" and 1,573,933 "buys" as the buying picked up a little late in the day. but the selling definitely did catch up in the middle of the day. so we'll see what happens tomorrow...
surprised it finished as well as it did...down 11% is no laughing matter, but there was nice buying pressure at the eod to close at .007
more orders going thru on the ask than on the bid and it's down 23%...
as of now...according to IHUB...Buy Volume today is 1,027,433 and Sell Volume today is 735,700...And the stock is currently down 23%...Thank you Market Makers!
well, i'm surprised to see it's still holding on. lots of buying came in early but the MMs killed it with the spread. wasn't really gonna be able to have much of a run with a 20%+ spread. still seeing orders go thru at the ask tho, so with a decent 2nd half of the day maybe it rebounds.
DKAM volume really coming in. Almost 1M traded in first 20 mins on avg volume of 2M. MMs need to tighten the spread tho
DKAM volume coming in...MMs keeping spread really far apart
DKAM chart looking good going into Monday
correct me if i'm wrong, but the bottom line is, more distributors will equate to more money coming in with a very minimal expense. it seems this rheingold beer is doing very well so far.
you'll be kicking yourself when we go past .01 ;)
Because for the life of me I cannot understand why someone would make hundreds of negative posts about a stock over multiple years unless they have something to gain...
If you've been burned by the stock in the past, okay. You want some sort of revenge on the stock. I don't necessarily get it (why wouldn't you just move on?), but I can comprehend. But obviously if all your initial posts are negative, then you never even invested. So why would you spend countless hours bashing a stock? You must at the very least have nothing to lose, and you probably have something to gain.
I trade stocks. The DKAM chart looks primed for a run next week. There's money to be made and people will make it.
well, hopefully he let's it at least ride up a little next week. afterall, the higher the pps goes, the less shares he needs. if we get enough momo on monday, we could go to the resistance near .03.
