What can I say it was a true story and funny as F honestly I thought she was going to yell at me shoot the way to Country is going one can't even carry around a gun in plain view without feeling guilty , good luck there pit cook how's that lumera working out for you?
Oops Not Happen
Well they did tell me that if I wanted to stop by to please let them know beforehand then he said something like the possibly exists where you might recognized somebody and that would be bad, something like that. So were you flying Frontier, (that airline has to be a god send to the Lightwave crew) or are you one my buddies that sits in those special seats up front?
Funny, on my trip to Costa Rica I was sitting near the front of the plane and I was reading a Gun Magazine, becasue of the world that we currently live in I was feeling kind of weird until the stewardess came over, she bent down so no one could hear her and said to me “excuse me sir but would mind helping me insure that nobody makes it into the cockpit should they try”, I looked up over my glasses and said, “I can assure you that that will happen.” True Story.

Not sure but remember that they are mixing up the Perks, kind of like adding ethanol to gasoline (I'd like to go on the record as hating ethanol at least 2 machines a year screw up because of it, what the heck were they thinking?).
The $500 comment goes all the way back to Fred Jr., I was surprised that he was on the money way back when, his ballpark cost back then was $200 and that was a telecom modulator I believe, I have NO IDEA if that holds up today.
X
You gotta be kidding me you mean you're honestly here to make money here I just thought you needed something to whine about
This is my 2 cents I’m not going to try and convince everyone because that will never happen.
“Lightwave Logic Successfully Demonstrates Operating Silicon Organic Hybrid (SOH) Prototype Modulator Device Achieves Greater Electro-Optical Activity and Lower Drive Voltage than Industry Standard Legacy Inorganic Modulators”
They Put Perkanimine in a modulator design not designed for Perk and it was measured at 40gb/s with a drive voltage of <2.2 Bandwidth >40 Ghz. It worked!
Here is an analogy, These examples do not apply exactly but you’ll get the picture.
They put the fuel in a Chevy that normally runs at 25 mph (gb/s) and takes 6 gallons (volts) to go 100 miles (efficiency) and with Perk it immediately ran at 40mph and only took 2.2 gallons, sounds like it works to me, but Lightwave does not own that design, remember Miller moved us up the food chain now LWLG is not only in the business of selling gasoline but vehicles as well and they want one that will only take 1 gallon, can run at 100 mph.
It works, but it isn’t perfected, once the octane (solubility) is modified and the carburetor (waveguide) throat is adjusted IMO they will get it to do exactly what they want. 100 gb/s w/1 volt out the door at less than 500 bucks and they will Own the Market.
Do I wish this happened 8 years ago when owned less shares but a greater percentage of the company, Heck yes but it didn’t, that’s life, investors can only change what they can change and currently it is out of our hands (we stepped up once, if we have to do it again we will but now is not the time) the fact of the matter is that they are proceeding along now at what certainly appears to be a decent clip.
No time to proof,

I just heard that climate change (not spring) will make the pollen explode (because there will be more Male plants, Lol) pretty soon, Lol.

I just finished plowing some of that magic global warming white cold dusty stuff that we had so much of this year. Just so we are on the same page the only foundry currently listed on Opsis’s website is IME, I’m not sure who will do the run for them IME, IMEC or BAE. I’m not getting into it spelling out the things that I see but the bottom line is that I’m not sure who is doing the run.
X
Oops just found it, perhaps they just forgeot to put a link on the web site.
http://opsisfoundry.org/foundries/foundries-bae/
It Works, I would expect that they are currently working on X% of this with Y% of this at a solubility of Z, with A volts modulates at XXX. Document, Repeat, Repeat. Change up X and do it over again. No doubt that it works though.
"Lightwave Logic Successfully Demonstrates Operating Silicon Organic Hybrid (SOH) Prototype Modulator Device Achieves Greater Electro-Optical Activity and Lower Drive Voltage than Industry Standard Legacy Inorganic Modulators"
Honestly I like reading about how everything is aligning in the Marketplace even if it doesn't apply to LWLG. But yes I agree that years ago I though this would proceed faster.
Keeping the faith
I tell you Ihub must have a gold mine here, they charge for their services, then they cram adds in every possible space they can find then when the screen is full they put them in front and behind and link them to words, funny though because I couldn't tell you off the top of my head what any of them say.

Scope only able to communicate for a few seconds,,,, Honestly guys I’m 984% more confident in the team now. My 2 cents is that yes those lasers may be a fit, remember terms like robust etc. check out the temps. IMO they are working on Single mode ish with Opsis so at this time I’m not sure they are playing in the multi mode space but it sounded like that is next.
Like I said they are finally proceeding as a business, not so much worried about the minute by minute ups and down of who has to sell for whatever reason.
IMO they should be able to partner up with a large company for any needed R&D money before the need for the next need for cash. Once this is able to blow through a buck we’ll be on our way but at the moment there is some serious resistance, accumulate, accumulate, and accumulate. Hey I could be wrong but no one can ever say that I don’t put my money where my mouth is.
Gotta Run, Word of the day, “Don’t call be bossy, oh and I heart Boobies” most won’t get that.

Oops, he cofounded UTP (United Technologies Photonics Corp) I guess that my brain assumed that United Technologies Research Center was part of that, a few to many tequilas I guess, (so much for my pornographic memory, hence no Beetle Bar Nitro and Wise) too busy to look, too many United Technologies.

You guys can worry if you want but IMO,,, actually theirs, “With more data in hand, we also intend to present to the DOD and other government agencies interested in polymer material/device development. Also, we will now be approaching other photonic companies with whom we could potentially partner to support our R&D effort.” They are in the process of documenting actual data on the performance, it worked in the plug and play, the design is ready on the Transceiver and Boulder Nonlinear is moving forward on what Terry been hanging around here for, IMO an R&D funding plan will be reached without the need for more dilution. And again based on the comment “greater than a 10 kilometers” statement I’m pretty sure that it will be in the single mode arena. The further along we are the stronger position we have, on the other hand the farther along we are the closer our back is to the wall. We pay management to solve these problems but yes I agree those keeping it under a buck are either trying to shoot themselves in the foot or doing it intentionally. I just remember what that Dow EO Polymer scientist guy I meet said about Leonberger, “X, that guy can call up just about anybody in the United states and call for funding, I said anybody, he said yes he could even call the president’s office, and if you don’t think that Joe Miller can do the same you are sadly mistaken. In the past we were focused on everything which really means they were focused on nothing. This is finally moving along like it should have years ago, IMO we’re all good.
Do yourselves a favor and worry about something like global warming and yes that is another area of funding that they could go after.
XstraRica
So Leonberger Co-founded United Technologies, Grzybowski (now the Executive director at Opsis) used to work at United Technologies (when Fred was there) then moved to Corning (when Joe Miller was there). Intel initiated Opsis in Feb 2011, 1 year later Hochberg moves from Washington to Delaware (as info Gig has the rights to things developed at U of W). Grzybowski took the place of Brad Smith that took a job at Intel. Oh what is Brads new title “100G Transceiver Product Line Manager & Business Development at Intel Corporation”
Ok, so um must I go on?
Is it possible that this is totally coincidental and that the universe is so small? Of Course but I doubt it. IMO Guys we just need to let this play out. Accumulate, accumulate, accumulate, and let em play with the dribs and drabs penny ish, that’s what I say.
To Quote Forest Gump, “that is about all I have to say about that”.
And no, nobody told me this but I mean it takes all of 10 minutes to see, things most certainly now appear to be proceeding in a logic manner.
Xsto Rica
In Costa rica
Heck no Im more confident now than ever things are proceeding logically it also appears that we have some support
IMO they are at a point now where I don’t need to watch and worry about every single trade, it took long enough I will say that, and we certainly had to raise some cane to get here. And yes If someone dumps into it hard yes it could tank, emotions could come into play some could sell based on emotions, IMO not such a good idea. I’m pretty comfortable with the way this is finally being run now but to answer your questions as to a handful of 1%ers, yes, if I had to guess I’d say the short list is about 20 people, I’m not sure who is selling but it is what it is. In all honestly I’m holding out, share wise I’m almost back to where I started although it is no longer at 1%. I’m not telling anyone to buy, hold or sell, go back over your homework and base your decision on knowledge, not emotion or events playing out in the course of someone else’s life, but yes if this individual sells hard into it yes it could tank, but IMO it will bounce back faster than a super ball when (once they are able to get some cred) demand outstrips the supply, (hopefully this individual will have sold whatever they need by then) oh well it will not change the science and when this science is proven out we will be living large, if not, then it is what it is, and I guess that we will all have maintain our crummy lives. I wasn’t watching but it sounds like if anyone wants more you can just put up a decent bid and this individual will sell into it, just saying.
They now have the chemistry, found a trick to mixing the Perk which they are patenting, they now have control of the processes a lab and testing facility, if you think that Miller is going to say the he vetted something that he didn't then I think you are mistaken. I have to put my faith in his knowledge on just how to vet something in the Chemical and Optical world.
Good Luck,
X
I just got a new cell phone, any idea on how can I get rid of the stickies on the IHUB Mobile app they annoy me?
x
There are a million different ways to structure it.
But I’d just as soon take a SINGLE Billion dollar market, prove the Perk works in a device, then take its future value (of just that Single Device say a 100 Gig telcom modulator) and discount it back to the present value take some cash out (say ½ for the shareholders in the form of a dividend and 1/2 for the company) as they move on to the next Billion dollar market. If they do that once then shares/company valuation will take off. We are talking multiple (Billion Dollar) markets, (IMO no need to hold out one on the first) once they prove it works is cheap and viable we’ll be off and running. We would sell Perk and they could worry about production of widgets. Honestly I don’t think that many here could hold up mentally, it appears that it depends which side of the bed some get out of and if they rolled out a buck dividend in about a year they could afford to buy a bed that consistently dumped them out the same side every day. Once the company is taken over it would continue to sell perk to that entity throughout its lifetime so it wouldn’t affect nor would they be beholden to that company.
But I’m way ahead of myself, first they need to get out there and bring in a partner, honestly I think that is what the shares awarded to the BOD were for.
It is just something to think about as we move forward into multiple markets, each having its own particular requirements and areas of expertise.
X
Yes it is, Yes it is. Honestly I see this as logical progression to accomplish the last sentence in this paragraph.
"With more data in hand, we also intend to present to the DOD and other government agencies interested in polymer material/device development. Also, we will now be approaching other photonic companies with whom we could potentially partner to support our R&D effort."
Finally they are getting their act together, but man was that costly giving away all those shares trying to shape an actual company, million shares here million shares there, oh well no use crying over spilled milk.
So how could they structure a potential partnership, we put up the Perk, they put up the Money and Cred, going forward we sell Perk to said partnership, the partnership then splits the profit on the venture, does that entity mass produce widgets or do they spin it off and form another partnership and start on another device. Or do they sell that entity. If said partnership is sold to viable fortune 500 do the shareholders get shares in both, all three?
Sumptin to think about, and could I be wrong, heck yes but it is the next logical step forward, at this time I'm looking for solid progress forward, remember Bintz did this exact thing at Lumera, Miller did this on numerous devices and chemicals at Corning and Dupont and Leonberger did this at JDSU oh and Leonberger was also in charge of the Mergers and Acquisitions so he has been there and done that.
X
I'm not sure if it will be here or there Reds but I'll go wherever and make a lil vaca out it. Shoot we have a little airport here in Wilmington 1 flight a day, LOL that now fly's to Denver (1/2 hour drive) for 100 bucks, 20 minutes from the lab, I may grab a flight out do a drive by, wash the windows in the HQ and report back to you guys, Ya Never Know. IMO This news today is good news, I don't want to speculate on this but IMO this was a required step for the next move. Who knows probably just wishful thinking on my part, This is exactly the kind of thing we went over so many times in that past, finally the walk crawl run, run Forest run.
You notice Telcom comes before Datacom now, next up,,,,

HQ open. Anything in that release?
Good Question, I'd have to ponder that while.

Honestly I think that this is so far above the day to day thinking of investors that not many will get it, they understand the drug payback but have no way of measuring the Markets for Optical Computing and the Potential. It will only take a few though to push this up, but there are so many that have been in so long it will proly to while to soak up those shares.
I'm not into the swing trade thing, I don't sit with my finger on the button.
Ladies and Gents Let us See what the next month brings, somehow I don't think that we will be anywhere near a Buck next month.

A drone circling a battlefield using ladar and you have an SLM a back at headquarters with a scaled down live 3-d Image in the center of the room. And the ability to identify the key players on the field, follow me now.
How about this, 6 Seals parachute in while a drone circles over head, each has a live display inside their helmet that they can view, if they want they could flip it around and project it on the ground in front so everyone is exactly on the same page. Because it is also to scale, distance to target would be obvious. And the ability to identify the key players on the field, color coded in priority.
How about a couple fighters on a mission each has LADAR and can feed the information back to headquarters and share with each other constantly updating conditions, locations etc.
Think 3d, you have an assembly line with a system scanning the product and a 3-d image in front of you, it checks the tolerances and scans for defects rear time.
You have a terrorist walking down the street in New York, the red light camera is also feeding a database checking facial features, and have a camera at the TSA checking real time for hits. Think a Billion times faster that today’s technology.
This type of technology could enable scans and solving crimes at the speed that they show on CSI.
It bring s whole new meaning to big brother and honestly it could get scary but the uses are pretty much endless.
x
BS I have 2 questions, and need help.
1. Why has it been a No No? What unique qualities may exist that would qualify Perk to do this job?
2. Even though silicon is inherently single mode I think that Intel is stuck on the MultiMode Corning little pipe big pipe fasteners , you may know better than I but I believe that Perk will play in the 1310nm and 1450nm Single mode markets. In the following presentation there appears to be a couple possible solutions but are they viable?
Slide 6 - Inverse Tapers for Horizontal Fiber-Chip Coupling it appears to be an answer but how hard it is to cleave a single mode fiber?
Slide 10 thru 21 Photonic wire bonding and multi-chip integration (It is just a concept but again I wonder if it is viable?)

Thanks
It was your idea thanks for setting it up. I agree a counter would be nice addition. I had suggested a counter on the lightwave web site because as this spark starts to catch fire it would be an interesting thing to chart.
As info Six that post the other day was NOT targeted specifically at you, it was a general post because I get tired of folks dumping on me, not on this board in person or via phone or email, (some even wake me up to complain) etc. Folks that I didn't even get into this stock but simply now know me from the shareholders meeting etc. and when they get nervous or they feel the need to be reassured they call. Honestly I probably have 10 - 50 close friends/relatives in this stock and they NEVER call and I don't ask them if they are still in. They understand that it is an investment in new technology that has progressed from a family of scientists to some of the best in the industry that no longer need to work for a living but see promise in it. Unlike many I do not call Z or bug him (unless there is reason like that bogus website etc.) because he is NOT allowed to tell us anything, when I do email him he reply's at 4:00am (his time) so I'd say they are working on something. Many of the whiners hate the fact that I can put my faith in the Z's, Joe Millers, Leonbergers, Turpins, Eatons, Glasgows, Babus, Dupont guys and Bims of the world without reaching out to them weekly but I do and if I'm wrong oh well I tried. I mean I did stop in to the lab unannounced one day just to get a read on what activity was going on and I used to drive by to see how many $50k+ cars were parked in the lot of the lab in the old industrial park, where oh by the way the cars in there now are rust buckets.
Whatever, just rambling. You guys can see what happens when just a couple folks buy in, some small guys will sell into it but the large shareholders that have been here for a while will proly wait until the smaller trades bleed out the pennies, then they'll only sell it and force it to make it jump by a nickel and dime a crack. I'm not saying that it will happen on Monday but it will happen mark my word. But please do not take what I write as gospel. This is a Biotech serving at least a dozen diseases that does not cost a Billion dollars to bring to market but rather 10, 20, 30 Million and that my friends is peanuts. Oh and when I say that we will be bought out, mark my word on that also, we will, I betcha.
Gotta Run,
X
Without getting fancy this is step one, the initial dollars have exchanged hands, nothing big. I'm not sure how long you've been around but here read this, It is just a step, z even says it.
Read this if you haven't already and this will kind of sorta help some to understand where this particular area could lead...
This is old old stuff but kind oof explains why Terry Turpin has found this technology so fascinating. Ctrl F (find) his name "Turpin"
There are different phases to this, I think it is phase 3 is where the bigger money flows, but as I pointed out Z's press release is past tense, we gave them the stuff, they gave us a little money so LWLG Has To Report it, it is the rules.
http://www.gildertech.com/public/Sampleissues/gTRDecem05.pdf
The other PR read "This will be the first direct sale" the sale had not happened yet, remember they we also going to sell to LMT and it never happened. SEC rules (I think a P.O. = Money).
You guys do realize that this statement is past tense and if I had to bet I'd say that LWLG has been "working on the come".
"The material we delivered is the product and result of the new synthesis process we recently announced."
Not going to elaborate.
X
DUH and who didn't know that? I'm still looking for another.
Check that one off the list though.
X
Somehow I just don’t think that Joe Miller is going to make up stuff just to put in PR. The man knows what he talking about in the chemical and the optical field and if there is something that he doesn’t understand I guarandamtee that he knows who to call to get the answer.
He made the call 1 ½ years ago to stop being lead around trying to produce material for someone else’s device and change direction (from a chemical company to a device company) and actually produce devices so “they” will come to us (Drive the MoFo Market). I think that he knows a little bit about Creating Devices, Chemicals, how they work together and bringing it to market. They are working on it and call me naive but I think they know what they are doing. Just how long it takes is anybody’s guess and if they are wrong they are wrong, there are no guarantees in life, hey when I’m wrong I don’t blame others for my decision, I’m a big boy, I take my licks and move on. Geez I swear the country is turning into a bunch of wooses who always want to blame others. I take a lot of grief for believing in these guys, folks will ask me what I think then somehow think that I can control quantum physics, well I can’t. Not sure why but just by logically presenting my opinion of things over the years, I’ve somehow become the De facto go to guy, stop whining, suck it up, believe in them or move on, stirring the pot, running around with one’s head down complaining doesn’t change the world of quantum physics either, whatever.
Sorry but I still think that these guys know what they are doing and are being honest with us. Are there perhaps a few weak links, sure, did they make mistakes, heck ya, I have made a million of them myself apparently there are some here that don’t make mistakes or cannot suck it up when they do.
I gotta go, OH this is proly the link that buzzy read yesterday, Honestly I forgot about Miller being the CTO for Dupont, Lil Ol Dupont, I forget what they make, Oh that’s write better living through chemistry was their 70’s and 80’s branding line.
I forget what Corning does, something about fiber optics or gorilla glass something like that.

Gotta Run,
Love Me or Hate Me, Blame Me if it makes one feel better, What the F Ever.
Only have this one post today so I won’t be able to sit here and whack the ball back over the net every time BS makes a deregulatory a valid or misleading comment about the company, an individual, etc. Honestly it does not bother me, I was having fun and thought I held my own for on who’s only talent is paying attention to what is going on and common sense, but some of the folks are freaking out which is what I guess was his goal. It is difficult to counter everything he says because while there is some truth in what he says there are also things that have changed and therefore are no longer relevant, or were never relevant (he posted them either sound smart or throw out a red herring) while arguing a point. In other words he states that the Perk was dirty, well no kidding they fought that battle for years, I don’t know if 98.something% is clean enough but that is what it was the last time we heard. Then he talks about cryogenic EO Polymers, yes but that is not what Lightwave is targeting. He also states that there is a use for an EO polymer with a high pm/V that does not hold up to the heat, well no kidding, but the entire reason that the Goetzs invented Perk was to target uses in the High Temp CMOS industry not for uses at -400f. It just muddies the water and confuses some kind of like saying that gasoline isn’t any good because it doesn’t work in a diesel vehicle.
Unlike the majority of the message boards out there where people just post garbage everyday this board has a history of people trying to be honest and the folks hang on every word. This is free country and anyone can post whatever they want, I try to post the truth so the folks can make up their mind but honestly except for driving past the lab many times to see just who was working and stopping in unexpected once I don’t know what is going on in the lab. I guess that you will say that you are doing the same thing posting what you think is the truth, fair enough. But please do not mislead the folks just to settle a score that you have with either someone or something at the company. Years ago folks would settle scores man to man I guess in today’s world of the anonymous internet those days are gone.
When I made the comment about Edison and Telsa what I was referring to was Edison not seeing the advantages to Telsa A.C. current. It appears to me that Perkinamine is something completely different that doesn’t fit the normal rules, I guess you guys really don’t have rules but more like theory and theory is just that, not an exact science. Whatever you catch my drift. Telsa/Edison I mean why is all this Miller, Leonberger, Turpin talent hanging around if it is a broken science that has no place or use?
I think that one of the frustrating things for everyone is that we still do not have a Whitepaper or any hard data and yes that concerns me. BS states that things will be the same in 1 year, Buzzy, Six etc. have set a 6 Month deadline (now 5) which puts us just before the shareholders meeting which is what I’ve thinking. If we do not have either a device, more data, a partnership or some kind of hard news by then I’ll lead the charge to send the Board members a message (I think I could easily hit 50% of the shares) but I’m not going negative until then so folks don’t start now, IMO we need to give Z his window here to do what he said in December. That being said BS, Man to man, please keep your comments relevant and on point and if the company releases X don’t ask for Y, then when Y is release, ask for Z, when Z is released ask for A, because you know that we could play that game and bust Balls forever,,,, unless they are absolutely relevant and you see a hole or an issue, then please educate us. Lightwave is not academia they are not going to tip there hand to impress someone so it is slightly different game. I just wish we knew what your problem with them was so that we could understand where you are coming from.
I just think that Joe Miller and Fred Leonber, Terry Turpin have a plan that they are executing through Bintz, makes sense to me, again I’m not in the lab just looking at this from a common sense point of view.

Well honestly I’ve never meet him but know of him second hand from someone entirely outside of Lightwave that doesn’t know that I own Lightwave logic stock or that Lightwave had dealings with EM an academia kind of guy. I really don’t want to get into it but let me just say that I’m glad we didn’t go that route. And no I won’t elaborate but um,,,,, That is all I’m saying,,, We probably should not get into Prathers relationships but I’d also say though that I don’t think that Z is one to be pushed. But yes it is a shame that he couldn’t figure it out, funny though the next group that dropped Perk in the modulator was successful.

OK I cannot give you the exact time frame but it was probably 10 or 11 years ago. I went into get my taxes done just as Fred Jr was walking out, I overheard something about how he lost his funding and is not sure what he can do. At the time is was explained as a way for the computers to communicate faster and they said without wires. So I started looking into it, at the time it looked to me like Lumera was given all of the funding, when I looked into it appeared that Larry Dalton at the U of W (IMO on a quest for a Nobel Prize) was calling the shots on whatever committee it was that I found. Fred Jr. would say things like, “No way X that material is going to succeed it is far away to fragile, they will get it to work but it simply is not practical.” He’d go over the double bonds, rotating about the pibonds, requiring protection from air, etc. Fred did not know how to raise money so he went to someone who had just hit it big by taking his company public, Mike, so Mike set up UCMT and took Lightwave public for him. Folowing that they went though 2,3,4 CEO’s something like that. The Goetz’s and Andrew didn’t really know how to run a company, IMO they overpaid for services with too any shares etc. OK meanwhile The U of W passed their super duper technology to Lumera for shares then immediately sold all ownership, they (Lumera) went through a few CEO’s I think the last one quit and they couldn’t find a replacement, the bottom line was that they ended up giving 6 million Dollars of the tax payers money that was funneled to them away from LWLG to Gig Optix, Gig gave them 3 million shares of the company that he (Avi) created from the assests of a company (creative financing)that were basically taken from shareholders in one of the largest bankruptcy, Ponzi schemes DBSI (google it, it is still in the courts down the street here in Delaware) anyhow they did a 1 for 8 reverse split, the stock tanked from like 50 Bucks to a Dollar, whatever,, anyhow it basically proves that what Fred said when he ran into me that day was obviously true. At the time it appeared that the 2 technologies, Lumera and Lightwave were in fact in completion and what he said to me was true. OK back to Lightwave, shortly after Marcelli came onboard Fred was in a terrible accident (I did not find out for about 1 year, thank god or I would have sold), I think it was Bim or Mike brought in Fasick. It looked to me like Eaton, Fasick, Mom Goetz, Andrew and a contingent of DuPont guys were somehow able to recreate what Fred Jr. was doing because I don’t think that he kept detailed notes. Smitty was on the BOD then, JM was the CEO we (the shareholders) basically rose up and somehow were able to effect a change, Zelibor became the CEO, Smitty stepped down, Joe Miller came onboard, (oh Turpin was around for a LONG time before all of this), JM moved over, Miller brought Glasgow, they brought in Babu and the lab guys, they set up a new lab, Opsys moved from U of Washingon, BSmith went to Intel, A guy that worked for both Miller and Leonberger is now heading up Opsys, EM (I forget his name) photonics couldn’t make it work, Z dumped all 964 Universities working with Lightwave and you pretty much know the rest of the story. Bintz etc.
I’m not proofing it, I apologize for leaving out names and I probably have the time frames a little screwed up but as far as the technology 10-12 years ago and even pretty much to today, Larry Dalton is the God in this field. He may be loosing his grasp as evidenced by Hochberg/Opsys moving to Newark. Again Thanks to the Ross Fasicks, Joe Millers, Fred Leonbergers and Terry Turpins of the world because they can absolutely command an audience with any fortune 500 in the company.
I’m not proofing it.
Oh crap I just looked at your post you are asking what they do, after all that, they change Light (Laser) with a dye using either Electricity (2nd Order) or Light (3rd Order).

So um you are not sure enough of what you are posting to bet on it. OK tell me this then, what are some of your greatest successes in this field, not just getting awarded grants I mean real things, actual widget that have sold and have become a success in the market place because if you are smart enough to tell us that this is garbage surely you have actually accomplished something that we can look at.

I just looked at the definition to make sure I used it properly, Yup.
The self-fulfilling prophecy is, in the beginning, a false definition of the situation evoking a new behavior which makes the original false conception come 'true'. This specious validity of the self-fulfilling prophecy perpetuates a reign of error. For the prophet will cite the actual course of events as proof that he was right from the very beginning.[1]
In other words, a negative prophecy, strongly held belief, or delusion—declared as truth when it is actually false—may sufficiently influence people so that their reactions ultimately fulfill the once-false prophecy.
Follow the money, there are going to be many, many institutions that will not be able to get their hands on Perk once it is perfected. There are tons of research and development dollars at risk and there are many, many that will appear as a fool. If we didn't have the Likes of Miller, Turpin and Leonberger on board we could very well get buried.

I believe you but at what point does your "First hand Knowledge Cease?"
And why, oh why did you go to the trouble to find the Lightwave Ihub board and post on it?
What other boards are you imparting your vast knowledge and experience on.
I think that you are mad at yourself for not figuring out how to make it work you lost the deal, and you think that nobody else can make it work so you are on a self fulfilling prophecy tour.
That's what I think.
Kinda like Edison and Telsa
Oh and if you are so sure, 100% positive of yourself, get a loan and short the stock. It is simple as that, all that we have is money, but you apparently have knowledge an if you are that smart have you certainly should have money (or just go out and borrow some) so make a profit off of your vast first hand knowledge. Don't sell yourself short Mr. Wizard, if you know the horse is lame bet on it to loose, simple as that.

Thanks Speed
Just so we are all on the same page here, BS is correct that at one time purity was absolutely an issue and that was why they brought in Babu and the new lab in Newark (hence half truth). Remember that Z told us about the purity at 98.something, without knowing which version of Perk, school or business BS had it is hard to say. Shoot they were making batches sending them out all over the place,,,,, remember, Miller (with his hand on his chin) saying, “now just what happened or was different that day”. I’m still leaning toward, Hal, AZ or main street in Newark and with the exception of this last device none of them were smart enough to figure out why it does what it does OR make it work. It doesn’t really matter whoever he is, obviously they have a chip on their shoulder and have an issue with some at lightwave. Oh well that is the way the ball bounces. Funny though BS’s comment about Dalton was almost the same as the EO Polymer guy that I met,,, lol.
I think that all in all this entire field has a lot of people that are very opinionated (smartest guys in the room) I’m not saying that this is bad shoot it ain’t bragging if you can do it. That is the original story behind Lightwave losing their funding it was pulled and given to Lumera back in the day, that is why the Goetzs took it public and honestly it is now coming full circle. I bet on this pony then so I guess I’ll keep a riding it.
The closer we get the more games that will be played on all levels, financial, academia, business etc.

BS have you ever been married?
Agreed on the mixing, but there must be something to it or they would not file a patent and unless shot glasses and mixer cups were involved I'm not sure that I could mix them. I guess that I stand corrected.
Remember the Accelapure debacle?
Are you also smarter than Babu?

Way to take the lead instilling confidence, What Is Wrong With You? I don’t know about you but every class action that I’ve participated in the only winners were the attorneys, and there needs to be something to get, whatever. Honestly, between you and I, instead of beating yourself up, making things up and pounding your head on the desk, don’t you think that you would feel better about yourself if just sold and moved on to something like a mutual fund, Bonds or a MyIRA. Oh how about a nice honest company on the up and up like gig, Lol.
If you sell please do Not Look Back, Else Thoust, Instead of Beating Ones Head About the Desk Will Be Kicking Himself in the arse so hard that thoust will need a trip to the Emergency room to Remove Thousts Boot From thousts Rear.
It is what is, you do your homework and place your bet that is life, there are winners and there are loser’s, There are Loser’s that win Accidentally and there are Winners that Win in spite of their actions. But if a bet is not in placed, it is impossible to win.
Geez we haven’t had a PR since last week and that was just about a couple of new molecules, I bet that they have 2 new batches of chromophores on their way to Colorado, oh I heard they ordered more supplies for the Lab, I cannot understand why they didn’t PR it.
I mean really?
