ACTC.pk, I have re-taken a position in ACTC based on their attempt to catch up on filings and leave pinkdom. That is no small thing in itself and this company has reported some amazing research in the past. I believe their researchers are highly regarded.
Here's something recent:
The ESSCB feels otherwise. "Donating oocytes to stem cell research arguably confers a greater benefit to society than does oocyte donation for private reproductive use," the board said in its statement.
Ronald M. Green, a bioethicist at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, said he's "glad to see" the ESSCB's decision. Green, who serves pro bono on the ethics advisory board of Advanced Cell Technology, a Massachusetts-based biotech company, said that it's ethical and necessary to pay women to donate eggs for stem cell research if researchers want to investigate the potential of therapeutic cloning. "It's discriminatory and sexist not to pay for eggs," Green said, noting that men can be paid for sperm. "It is paternalistic and protective to say that [women] can't make this decision."

Thanks Al, That's a great looking chart! I really had no idea that stock use to be so high, I think possibly there was a r/s back there somewhere.

No doubt they will Monday cuz i let 15K go today 5 @ .65 and 10 @ .70 so holding just 40K now. BUT DAMN it was and is fun thing for me.
I first bought CTEI because some guys over on the golden lists started following it after in dropped under .01 in 2007; so I got some too and was a bag holder for a LONG time. But things started happening for the company but try as I might I could not get one single person interested in it even after they CEO brought the filings up to date.
When he finally got off the pinks I wrote him to congraduated him as he was a happy camper. He said "you have no idea what I had to go through to get out of the pinks".
He is a square shooter and a very smart guy.
Good Luck to us
We are having a fine day today!

CNO was a thing of beauty and it was just one of several, but really in spite of our wish for every day to be Christmas, ONE is all you need.
Coal fired power plants vs NG. (both require elaborate emmissions monitors)
Coal is a major cause of carbon dioxide
A recent article in the conservative magazine, The Economist , bluntly stated, "Coal is the dirtiest of fossil fuels, producing twice the carbon dioxide that natural gas does when it is burned. That makes it a big cause of global warming." However, coal is cheap, costing between $1 and $2 per a million BTU's (MMBtu) compared to $6 and $12 per MMBtu for oil and natural gas. Approximately 40 percent of the world's electricity comes from coal.
The biggest user of coal to generate electricity is China . Eighty percent of China's electricity is from coal. The country is increasing its coal use at a rapid rate. In 2000 its coal output was 1.3 billion tons, and in 2005 it was 2.23 billion tons. The new coal plants China built in 2006 added about 500 million tons of carbon to its annual emissions.
The U.S. is the second largest user of coal generated electricity. Half of its electricity is from coal power plants. The country's power plants have over 300 gigawatts of capacity. The U.S. emits almost two billion tons of carbon from coal power plants, which accounts for 27 percent of all its GHG emissions, and is projected to increase by a third by 2025. Only twelve coal power plants have been built since 1990. Most coal power plants were built from 1970 to 1989. The bad news is that the U.S. has coal reserves that could last over 250 years at the current consumption rate, but could last as much as 500 years with improved technologies.
In the fast developing country of India, there is an increase in coal output. In 2000, its output was 360 million tons and increased to 460 million tons by 2005. Sixty-eight percent of its carbon emissions are from coal.
In Europe, even more mature economies still use large amounts of coal. Almost half of Germany's electricity comes from coal plants. Germany plans to built 14 coal plants by 2012 with a total of 14,000 megawatts of capacity. Germany is the top photovoltaic (PV) installer, and the second largest user of wind power.

Thanks SSP, they must be figuring something else. Insider buying at $1.32, I guess he had to wait for the filings otherwise he could have saved $1 x 200,000.

Search Mercury Monitors on Google. CTEI has its first real order with a NYSE utility and there are about 50 other prime USA utility targets which have to have monitors online by year end. Plus they are in India and actively looking for international distributors.
Not for traders however and it ain't .007 anymore.
bummer, i sold too much too soon also. Weren't you with us in CTEI speaking about dead men walking. I found out lots of good stuff about Mercury monitors; they are popping up everywhere.
Dose CNO really have $1/share earnings?
Ref CTEI .25 with .37 high, I second that yeow!
Here is something I found about mercury monitors (according to CTEI's CEO they have the lowest cost to maintain):
Federal and state limits on emissions of mercury (Hg) from power plants typically require periodic or continuous measurement of Hg levels by approved reference methods (RMs) and continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMs). For example, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Clean Air Mercury Rule calls for the installation by January 1, 2009, of certified Hg monitors on all stationary sources that emit more than 29 pounds of the toxic pollutant annually. Reporting of data for compliance monitoring will begin on January 1, 2010. This allows less than 18 months for installation and certification of Hg CEMs and sorbent trap monitoring systems, and 2.5 years until mandatory reporting of their readings.

Vancouver, B.C., February 18, 2009 - Condor Resources Inc. - ("Condor" or the "Company") (TSX.V: CN | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) is pleased to announce results of a recent unsolicited drill hole on its wholly-owned Austral porphyry copper project in Chile. The Austral property adjoins Condor's Brahma property located in southern Chile southeast of the city of Talca.
The 321m inclined diamond drill hole was completed by a major international mining company without the knowledge or consent of Condor. The drill hole was collared within an adjacent mineral claim and terminated in claims staked and owned 100% by Condor. Subsequent to drilling and assaying of the hole by the major company, the drill hole location and assay results were voluntarily forwarded to Condor and, subject to confirmation by Condor, indicate the presence of significant amounts of copper and gold mineralization. Condor geologists intend to examine and re-log the drill core. No commercial relationship currently exists between this undisclosed major company and Condor. Discussions between the major company and Condor are continuing in a spirit of amicable cooperation.
Copper values in the hole were anomalous, with numerous individual 1m core samples returning values of 1% to 1.1% Cu, and gold values ranging from negligible to 0.248 g/t Au. A cumulative 56 meters of core assayed more than 0.5% copper equivalent. Condor is advised the assaying was carried out by ALS Chemex, Chile. Detailed results can be found on the Company website (www.condorresources.com).
*PRELIMINARY INTERVALS - TO BE CONFIRMED

(*Copper equivalency assumes US$1.55/lb copper, and US$900/oz gold).
Condor's President, Mr. Patrick J. Burns, stated that "Although the drilling was unsolicited by Condor, these results confirm the discovery of a second, potentially large, porphyry copper-gold system within the Company's 270 sq km, 100%-owned and adjoining Brahma and Austral properties. Further drilling will be necessary at Austral in order to determine the size and grade of the mineralized system, which measures 1500m long by 500m wide at surface". He concluded by saying that "This second mineralized system goes a long way to confirm our suspicions that Condor has discovered a new and developing cluster of porphyry copper-gold deposits that represent the discovery of a significant new copper district in southern Chile".
In addition to a re-evaluation of the adjacent Brahma Project, several other targets remain to be tested within the Company's large land holdings at Brahma/Austral.
Condor is currently seeking joint venture partners for its property holdings in Chile and Peru.
Condor Resources Inc. was incorporated in 2003 by field exploration specialists focused on the generation of gold and copper projects in South America, where management has extensive experience and a proven track record of discovery. The Company's long-term business plan offers shareholders access to a growing portfolio of properties, including seven 100% owned projects in Chile, and six in Peru, each providing a unique path to discovery.

PGPDQ, the second best stock I own. Here's something from YAHOO board which is pretty active.
How about: Some astute investors are establishing positions on a stock which may become a 10 bagger in the near future now that there is someone in charge commissioned to kick ass and take names.
Why is it that we can't realize that the cost of doing business is less than 1/4 of what it was before BK? So there is a little debt to deal with. So what? What's ch 11 for any way? Negotiate, negotiate, negotiate -- Aye, Mr. Jackson.

Puzzler:
On 10/19/08 I got a partial fill pre-mkt on SKF at 88.88 which turned out to be almost the low of that day after which it started back up. But I was also watching the other side UYG which was about $10 that day.
SO now if SKF drops 50% ($75 from 150) UYG ($3.25) goes where? +50% or $5.
Something doesn't add up.
PS
FAS $11 trades early
Well that FAS is Fast $10.75 ticked I think. The Feb 10 calls were bidding $1.50 all day, pretty good premium for a $9 (at the time)stock for 3 weeks I think. I'll know for sure in the fullness of time.
