You were probably a cutie.
And now here's more Important Thought from Dear Leader:
BREAKING: In a senile moment, Donald Trump is talking about energy, donuts and stoves. Donald Trump can’t hold a single coherent thought. pic.twitter.com/oLpodfzr8y

lol, you must have been an annoying kid...
Good article.
Well you see, you're not well-educated, and so not in a position to make judgment calls.
It won't be long, but the mets just got another run. 10-5 now. But the Dodgers only need one more out. I don't see how they can fail to get it.
Wisdom comes with age. And as I said, I'm very well-educated.
So how did fatass serve at the window? "One for me,,,munch munch... one for youuuu"
Probably the bags didn't have any food in them, since he didn't really cook anything.
I think it's likely to be entirely true.
Make that 10-4.
He wasn't from New York, but he became a great New Yorker.
Ah shit. I think that's it.
Make that "I'm sure that's it."
if Russia is do far up then why’d they wait until Joe was in office to attack another country? Hmmm genius
Probably Putin thought Trump was sure to win, and would give him an easy win by withdrawing from NATO.
No it won't. He looks like an asshole. And he needs a hairnet.
Well... I think by now they're too far behind. But as Yogi would say, "It ain't over till it's over"...
Yeah. They don't have much time left...
Even cars practicing going through the drive-through? Unreal!
lol, and he complains because 60 Minutes edited an interview. Something they always do.
Yes, I am old. You didn't know that? I'm also very well educated and well traveled.
The first president of my lifetime was Harry Truman. I've seen the good and the bad. Even Nixon wasn't all bad, unlike Trump. He was at least not treasonous. Hey, Ike was a good president. And he wasn't a Dem. But were he to come back, you'd probably think he was a "leftist". Maybe even a socialist. But whatever his own political philosophy, I think on the subject of Trump, he'd be standing with Milley, Mattis, McChrystal, Esper, and other retired military who are extremely disturbed by the prospect of seeing Trump take power again.
Donald Trump is the absolute worst, and as I'm sure you know, most historians agree on that point. And as for what would be good for you and your generation, whatever it may be, it is not Trump's insane plans for hitting every imported product that enters this country with enormous tariffs. You and everyone else who's not one of the superrich would be beggared. I suggest you read up on the Smoot-Hawley Act, among many other things.
And I'm afraid that there should not be multiple "viewpoints" on the wisdom of electing a person suffering from dementia to the Oval Office. Before you bring up Biden, he was fine four years ago. I don't think he's losing his marbles--he isn't about to start telling dirty jokes on live TV, nor will he suddenly decide to have "a music", and stand onstage swaying for 40 minutes--but I was relieved when he announced he was ending his campaign and his candidacy.
LOLOLOL!!
How come a Met fan??
I started following them in their first season, which was in 1962. They were absolutely terrible, which was one of the reasons people love them. And hey! Their manager was Casey Stengel, who once said, "Can't anybody here play this game?" And I'm sure not many here remember Marvelous Marv Throneberry...
And then in 1964, they hired Yogi Berra as a coach. Sublime!! In 1966, they picked up Tom Seaver, and thereafter added more very good pitchers. That changed everything, and gave us the Miracle Mets of 1969. It was an incredible Series. I was in my last year of college; the Series was such a big deal that they cancelled classes for the last few games.
It's mind boggling how some people think.
It most certainly is. People suffering from advanced dementia are unsuitable candidates for the presidency. Sane people realize that.
I am NOT enjoying it.
This is a stinky game.
Jesus. Not a good night for the Mets... THROW DA BUMS OUT!!
Sounds as if it was good...
Well.. usually penny promotes are only entirely positive, so...
Ohhh, it IS the Mets game!!
Watching now!
Nope. They're very small anyway...
lol, I'll only watch if the Mets move forward...
That is correct.
Yes, that's utterly disgusting. He isn't making them promise to vote for Trump, but of course that's implied.
If what he's doing is illegal even if they charged him tomorrow nothing would happen in the case till sometime next year. He knows that, and doesn't care if he'll eventually have to pay a big fine. Money doesn't mean a whole lot to him.
Just out from 60 Minutes:

Yeps and no doubt too, i think, that more betting on elections will inevitably encourage more election rigging.
Maybe. Though the odds on a political contest calculated thanks to a small number of very rich people betting millions aren't, I think, likely to be very accurate. And more, not everyone is interested in betting on events like this one. As the author of the article pointed out, to use Thiel's platform, you have to pay in crypto, which means all the headaches that entails, if you're not regularly involved in crypto. That will immediately eliminate a ton of possible bettors. It's not like picking up a lottery ticket when you go out shopping.
In addition, I suspect nearly all these bets are coming from guys. Who are more into this Bro stuff than women. And guys are more likely to support Trump than are women.
Glad you had lunch with a friend.
“It’s a confirmation bias loop,” one Polymarket trader told me. “They’re edging Trump up a little bit, and then everyone’s talking about the momentum, like Elon Musk. Then they’re convincing themselves this is real. Then they’re going in and bidding him up more. And then there’s a new round of stories, and then they’re bidding him up more. It’s a cycle where they’re seeing the information that’s confirming what they previously thought, and it’s increasing their confidence, even though absolutely nothing is changing in the real world.”
I think that's true. Musk is very smart in some ways, and very dumb and naive in others.
The analysis by the guy on Twitter was very interesting, too.
Well... It really did look as if he was sitting on a black mat, if you didn't see the start of the video.
What they are is easy and very good. Try 'em all!
Profound as always!
That's true. Bernie hasn't changed a bit.
LOLOLOL!! But everything his says or does is indefensible.
lol, I probably would not. But they aren't really complicated. BLTs are easy, IF you can find good tomatoes. That isn't always easy. And I also make open-faced sandwiches on rye, with homemade coleslaw, deli-sliced (very thin) ham and Swiss, and a little Thousand Island dressing.
Tasty and simple. And then there's tuna salad: good quality solid albacore tuna, some sliced green onions, capers, Dijon mustard, a little lemon or white vinegar, a dash of Worcestershire sauce, and of course plenty of mayo. Eat on whatever kind of bread you want, or on crackers.
