NanoTech Entertainment, Inc. (OTCMKTS:NTEK) Making Moves To Propel UltraFlix
NanoTech Entertainment, Inc. (OTCMKTS:NTEK) has started to broaden its horizons by offering HD streaming services, through its flagship product UltraFlix. The name, although new, is starting to compete with multibillion-dollar heavyweights Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) and Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX). The marketing campaign for the product does state that there are tons of HD content available, but in reality there is little to differentiate it from the competition. One of the greatest achievements for the company’s product was to be reviewed alongside NetFlix and Amazon on Cnet not many startups gets this chance.
In order to get a smart TV with all the applications, many people require a console. However, NTEK has taken a different route; it has partnered itself with almost all of the major manufacturers and got its applications pre-installed on the product. This gives the buyers an added feature to run multiple HD streaming services, contrary to a single service dedicated to the console. In fact, it is believed that the company has already made an agreement with Roku and is targeting Apple TV in the near future. The company’s partnership also means that its content is just a click away.
One major issue that UltraFlix faces is the availability of exciting content. Even though the other service providers have the same problem, but cashing in on this opportunity can make UltraFlix beat its competition. Nanotech does its own conversion of content to 4K quality, so everything is dependent upon licensing when it comes to content. The company needs to make some major signings to propel its product forward. It already has the access to the consumer market and its product is out there, they just need to start building on it.
The company has already started bagging offers from major movie making companies, to stream their movies in 4K quality on UltraFLix. However, the company needs to think about adding other types of contents too. There is a large area to be covered in terms of sports and TV series; the company must tap these opportunities to make itself stand out.
NanoTech Entertainment, Inc. (OTCMKTS:NTEK) closed at $0.0145 losing 15.20% in yesterday’s trading session.

Panasonic on Board
As for compatibility with streaming technology, the TC-55CX850U follows in the footsteps of its predecessors to deliver the latest and widest possible range of features for accessing a broad range of online 4K ultra HD content. This means that the TV is built to handle decoding of streams from both HEVC and VP9 encoded sources as well as VOD content from services like Ultraflix, with its growing selection of 4K content.
What's the deal here? Thanks for the note.
Rediscovering the real power of baby boomers
The networks and cable guys have “discovered” that annually, the over-50 crowd spends $90 billion on cars; and by 2017, they will control 70 percent of the nation’s disposable income.
Now that they’re suddenly hot targets again, you’re seeing a lot of yesteryear’s stars recycled in shows like “NCIS,” “Blue Bloods” and others.
Some age well. Others, not so much.
If we want to revisit those folks, we’ll switch over to an hour or two on YouTube. For the rest, stick with my new 4K UHD smart TV and UltraFlix, Netflix shows.
But for a lot of folks, cutting the cable is a hard habit to break.
Ultraflix pulls a 4K content coup with the Inclusion of “Interstellar” in UHD
Ultraflix may be a young streaming 4K and HD content service with a lot of catching up to do before it matches Netflix in sheer quality of ultra HD content but this week at least, the company that owns it, Nanotech Entertainment, definitely pulled off a coup of content polishing by gaining the rights to Christopher Nolan’s extremely popular sci fi movie “Interstellar” in full 4K resolution.
Ultraflix has made this newest addition to their service available on the service’s streaming content menu as of March 31st and not only is this a big deal because this movie is a recent title, it’s also a big deal because this is a recent major blockbuster title with some serious publicity behind its original release to theaters. A lot of people will want to see Interstellar in the 4K resolution that it was filmed in.
Furthermore, given that much of the services other films and video selections in ultra HD represent a somewhat lackluster collection of older content and documentary films, more movies like “Interstellar” are a truly major potential source of real success for the 4K content streaming service.
Finally, “interstellar” is definitely one movie that truly lends itself to looking absolutely spectacular in a 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels on a larger UHD TV, maybe something above 65 inches. With its extraordinary visuals of travel through space, time and the orbits of alien worlds rotating around a gargantuan black hole, this film is not only spectacular in its imagery, it’s also a fully fleshed out piece of plotting.
Ultraflix is owned by Nanotech Entertainment and since its launch in erly 2014, has focused intense effort on slowly developing a wide selection of 4K movies, shows and other content selections like documentaries for a growing audience. So far, the service is available on Sony, Vizio and Samsung TVs with plans to arrive at other 4K TV brands as soon as possible.
Unlike Netflix and Amazon Prime, its much more recognized 4K streaming rivals, Ultraflix doesn’t yet offer a subscription service and instead rents out or sells its 4K titles individually at prices which vary by nature of content. You can find out more about that here in fact.

Uplisting is around the corner; can't wait for the news. I bet it'll come when list expected. The Armada and Paramount deals were delivered as scheduled; trust and confidence is obviously returning to shareholders.
The Uptrend began last week! Easy 200-300% gain from here; that's easy to see.
Call the SEC, hurry. NTEK is climbing back up.
Facts about Peter Riordan (I hope this helps):
"Peter Riordan was a founding member of MediaPoint In-Store TeleVision Inc. that successfully negotiated contracts with both Safeway and Krogers stores for in-store networks in 2004, where he acted as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to MediaPoint, Mr. Riordan was a business development executive for companies including Eastman Kodak, and a pioneer in digital satellite distribution with Atlantic Richfield Company, where he was business manager of the technology division. Whilst at ARCO, Mr. Riordan initiated one of the first ever digital signage retail pilots - the "ARCO Network" with Sony and NBC television network."
So now, will you answer the question about your standpoint on the new CEO?
Thanks in advance.
Assuming they are related, what would be your point? that we are in good hands based on the new CEO experience?
By the way, his experience hasn't been discredited here, which would mean that his statements were truthful.
I believe it is important for the shareholder group to understand my financial and operating experience. I have been in the workforce for 30 years and started out in corporate finance on Wall Street raising capital for emerging growth businesses and initiating initial public offerings. I then switched to High Yield Debt financing and Leverage Buyouts and raised over $1.7 billion in debt and equity transactions over three years. In addition, I worked on French Privatization transactions with the French Minister of Finance. After my experience in corporate finance, I moved to the west coast and worked for Atlantic Richfield Company (“ARCO”). ARCO excelled in sales and management training and I benefited from this starting in retail sales and then running the west coast gas liquids business, which represented $100 million in sales. I then became Business Manager of our Technology group and worked on a $45m rollout with Hughes Network Systems of our point of sale systems and VSAT Network. I was able to “retire” from ARCO as it merged with BP and started in the small capitalization world working on digital signage projects with Kroger and other entities and merging our company with an Autostereoscopic 3D business, which is currently entering a new phase of growth.
According to B402:
Insiders are Hoping to add to Their Millions
Now everyone is trying to buy as much NTEK AS POSSIBLE AT THE CHEAPEST PRICE THEY CAN GET!
I appreciate your answer and I concur with you regarding a more focused marketing approach. Let's see how this pan out.
Thank you for offering your perspective. I'll stick around as well to see the outcome.
Sure. I would definitely expect that, not only on the way up but also on the way down (this is where the real money is made). Now, insiders aren't the only ones making money, also add venture capitalist investors, MMS, and a long etc.
In business, it takes money to make money and a big part is laying a strong foundation. With Ultraflix currently on all Samsung and Vizio 4K TVs and ready to show up on all Sony, LG, Panasonic Sharp and Hisense TVs World Wide, I would say a strong foundation has been established.

Armada TV Set To Make Television Debut
After years of being left off television, the first EDM channel is here. Armada TV, the YouTube channel dedicated to artists and releases from Armin Van Buuren‘s label, will be joining Ultraflix starting next week. Ultraflix, marketed as the world’s largest library of 4K content, is a Netflix-type network that 4K ultra HD video on Demand. It’s mainly the companion network to many of today’s leading television manufacturers including Samsung, Sony, and Vizio who are capable of playing such high quality video. Armada TV will feature music videos from the label’s biggest stars like Cosmic Gate and Andrew Rayel, but reports also show that NERVO and Arty might appear as well. Though normal cable subscribers won’t be able to see Armada TV on Ultraflix, the addition of a dance music channel is a huge step in the right direction for dance music.
Armada TV launches on Ultraflix this Tuesday, March 24.
I'm counting on you being wrong on the slow ride talk, but can't deny you may be right. Enjoy your weekend!
Golden cross did the opposite; should we expect the same outcome with the death cross? ![]()
You may be right about Pete, but I still don't think they discuss well their strategy.
Mad. This is straight from the CEO's letter to shareholders released on March 13; right above his signature:
What I’m most excited about is that today I can announce that we have entered into a contract with Paramount Pictures. Our first title from Paramount won an academy award last month. The 4K Digital adaption is currently under review by the films creator and director and once he has
approved it we will be the exclusive provider for streaming this movie in 4K Ultra HD. Look for an announcement regarding this title in the coming days.
I concur with you.
On another note, the new CEO must be the dumbest idiot in charge or he's a puppet. No intention to increase AS, a few days later the opposite happens. We will not announce deals until they are finalized, can't deliver on Paramount news a week later after prematurely mentioning it.
$250k worth of shares at a price of 0.03. That was in April 2014 so right now he is underwater.
I'm basing it on a company financial document that states that he invested $250k in return of shares at $0.03. If he sells under $0.03 he will be losing money. That is my understanding.
Obviously not. I think we should get that ice sculpture artist back as the CEO; at least he took us to 0.17
This is where you develop a stomach of steel or an ulcer. I'm very upset with the current PPS movement and the latest management performance. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
DTS-HD soundtracks are also available with CinemaNow streams and the Ultraflix Streaming Network. Both services also support the Dolby Digital Plus surround format, as do the Starz Play services.
Awesome! Ultraflix coupons.
Great catch! Awareness is key and NTEK needs this type of exposure.
